Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. Gym was basic. Otherwise, decent stay.

The room was very large, which was nice, the only problem was one out of their two elevators was out during a very busy weekend. They explained that they were waiting for the government inspector before opening the other elevator. So it was a bit inconvenient due to the elevator wait

The location of the hotel is very nice, within minutes of a movie theatre, bar and restaurant.

Lots of parking and restaurants within walking distance!

Another Great Stay

Fifth stay in three months, and while a tad dated, the staff and yummy breakfast make up for it! We ended up extending our stay three days, and will be back!

I loved the place, has a nice sofa bed for extra person. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Staff friendly indeed.

Check in was a breeze. The staff was very kind in providing us with a list of local resources if our dog needed anything. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a wide variety of typical offerings.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was much larger than expected. It has a king bed and a little divider between bed and couch with desk, mini fridge and sink. Bathroom sink is separate from toilet and shower room. Very nice!!

Very well laid out room with more than enough space to “set up shop” for the evening. Breakfast was well stocked with essentials and clean area for eating. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

I would love to see the fitness center expanded or improved. No matter what, I will be back because I like the staff, location, and rooms. Good solid place to stay.

Only one of the two elevators was working which elongated wait times for the one that was working. A lot of the ceiling throughout the building looked rotted out with patches over it. Needs updated.

The desk staff was excellent. They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. However, the premises were unacceptable. One of two elevators were out of service and the remaining elevator was exceptionally slow. This created terrible backups for a medium-sized 5 story hotel. it never got repaired during our stay. Also the linen in our room was dirty - - with stains on one of the white comforters. Once again, the desk staff was top-rate. Management has failed them, unfortunately.

Appreciate the comfort of bed and pillows, updated decor, rooms aren't "run down", interior design and ambience of hotel and rooms. Good value. Nice to have small bar in lobby.

The room was dirty. There was trash on the floor when we got in the room and a post it note shoved in the peephole.

Listed as queen bed rooms and they were full beds. Also air conditioning was not working in our room. As a result near by trains kept us up at night.

Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The check in/checkout process was smooth. A 12pm checkout was perfect, giving us enough time to have breakfast and pack up. We requested an earlier than 3pm check in and our room was available at 1pm. Everything was neat and clean. The bathroom is a little tight, but other than that, the room was perfect for our short weekend stay.

Liked the quiet and cleanliness

Let me share my story about this place: I only stayed for one night. When I checked in, the desk clerk was nice, but he didn’t have me fill out a vehicle identification form, which I was thought was strange, but this will be important later. My room was fine and I had all the things I needed. My room ended up being next to the elevator, and that thing was loud and annoying, but you couldn’t hear it if the TV was on at least. The next morning, before I checked out, I got breakfast and chilled out. Breakfast was great, the staff was charming, until the fire alarm went off at 8am for no reason. I checked out, and the check was seamless and no one had said anything unusual. Which I thought was awful because when I returned to my vehicle, it was vandalized and stolen from. Both rear windows and my passenger window smashed completely in. Another guest staying filled me in that everyone in the lot that night had their vehicles broken into, and when police had came to investigate, no one could figure out who my vehicle belonged to so everyone got to file a police report in the moment except me. I went to the front desk asking for help for who to call and what to do, and they were very rude and distant about it. I’d say flippant, but they didn’t have any urgency or concern. I made a comment to the hotel manager about them not having signage about not being liable for property damage in the lot like most hotels do. All in all, not a safe area and I don’t recommended it.

No amenities and those provided (cups in rooms, for example) were cheap and plastic. Clock in room was set at the wrong time. Not all outlets worked. One of the lights near one of the beds broke when I pushed the button to turn it on. Receptionist not polite when helping with breakfast. Security manager (I believe that was his title) was not compassionate to guest whose vehicle was broken into over night while parked in hotel lot when she shared that her mother was in the hospital in critical condition, and, when fire alarm went off during breakfast and all guests in lobby started heading out the front doors, he turned off the alarm at the front doors then did not bother to inform us of what was going on and if it was safe for us to go back in....he just walked by everyone. Expected better of a Hyatt.

The front desk was amazing. We had a wonderful experience with great amenities for the price. It made the ending of a stressful weekend a welcome reprieve.

I liked that our room had a sitting area with a couch and ottoman. Unfortunately, several of the cushions and ottoman had stains on them that were quite noticeable. When I told the woman at the front desk she said she's sorry and she'll put a note on the room so I wouldn't get charged a fee for the stains. She didn't offer another room or an adjustment on the cost of the room.

We typically prefer to stay at Hyatt Place hotels and have been very pleased with our stays including two other Columbus, Ohio locations. However we weren't as impressed with this location. We found both the sheet and duvet in our room to have holes. Although breakfast is served weekdays until 9:00, we found most offerings to be empty or close to empty at 8:25. The eggs and pancakes were not just cool, but rather cold, the sausage was hard, there were only two slices of bread in the bread box, and the half and half creamer was empty. In the afternoon we noticed considerable noise from housekeeping our hallway. The staff was very congenial, but after checking out we wondered why there was a marked difference in the quality of this stay versus other locations.

For being the hyatt i wasn't expressed with the hotel. Room not that good and cold breakfast.

The staff was really nice and the room was comfortable. The area was surrounded by lower priced hotels and just wasnt our favorite place to be.

The best part of this facility was the staff. Very friendly and obliging.

The property looked decent, but the bed was hard ,top cover was dirty and the sheet was ripped.

Stayed the weekend of an Ohio/Iowa home football game. Room was very clean. Staff was nice and very helpful. Check-in was very easy.

The elevator and ice machine on our floor were not working all weekend and the breakfast was below average. The staff was kind and our room was clean.

The a/c in the room was too loud and made some noise (vibration) the whole night, hard to sleep.

The Hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly. I believe it has been renovated so most of the property is in good condition. The only issue we had was with the elevator. Nothing serious but it is older and seems to have a mind of its own.

A budget friendly hotel in a good location. Pros: beds were clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. Cold fridge. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. 12 pm check out time. Cons: floor was stained, dust collecting in the corners, slow elevator, no hot water depending on the time of day you shower.

Stayed with family in room 105, it was extremely dirty. Spider webs, stains on couch, vanity counter top was broken, even saw an insect crawling in the bathroom. My room didn't even had iron and stand. Had to ask for it. Don't expect this kinda service from Hyatt hotels.

We made a reservation over a month in advance for myself and two teenagers. We booked a king with a sofa bed. I called about 3 weeks out to make sure there was a cot and they said the only thing they could guarantee was all Kings had a pullout sofa. After an 8 hour drive we arrived to check in and the room did not have room for my daughter and no pullout couch. They basically said, “That’s all we have and we can’t help you.” We called around to leave and find a new hotel and everything was booked. We had to drive my daughter back to her college to sleep (1/2 hour each way) and when we asked for some type of cushioning blankets so my son could get some sleep they provided 2 extra pillows and 2 thin blankets to make a bed on a hard and gross floor. The only thing they said was that we shouldn’t use 3rd party vendors or things like this happen. No one got any sleep and we had a very long and hot day the next day. I have stayed in many other hotels and will never stay in a dump like this again.

My 3rd time staying here and it is always great! Will be back for sure

The location is PERFECT The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. One on the two elevators was out of service and the other was VERY slow. This made it difficult for me (and the swarm of 7-10 year guests in town for a soccer tournament) to enter and exit the hotel.

Everything about the stay was being exceptional. I have no complaints at all; the room was clean, the staff was extraordinary, and the food was wonderful.

The hotel has only elevator working, housekeeping is worse, they are not on unifand when you tried to talk to theme they will always said to contact the front desk, Hotel is crowded. Front desk staff are nice
