Hyatt Place at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center

I always trust Hyatt hotels.

The staff at this hotel are all exceptional. Melissa went over and above to ensure our stay was a memorable one. The rooms were clean, the bed and pillows were awesome. The breakfast was excellent and the walk to toy story parking shuttle to disney was easy. Walking directly to Disney also an easy 20min happy walk. Definitely worth a 5 star review.

Didnt clean the room on daily basis. a handicap member of the family lost the key, and frontdesk didnt give an extra key or provide any type of assistance

The associate who checked me in was super friendly and nice. Roms are clean, spacious, convenient to Disneyland. Only compliant was noisy neighbors stomlig and banging on walls. But not the hotels fault.

Great Place

My son and I needed a place to stay after a Disney trip. Hyatt Place was fantastic, the room was huge and clean, the beds are comfortable. Area is safe and the staff is amazing. The only thing we had an issue with were the people on the floor above us, they were jumping around all morning. Overall service was exceptional.

Work and A1

I was on a business trip and also attended A1 while in town. The Hyatt Place is very clean and the front desk service is exceptional! Breakfast was plenty with many choices. Overall great stay!

My first stay at this hotel. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast, the hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and their policy of giving guests a daily bottle of water was so helpful!

Nice location, free breakfast, room is large and clean but the downside is that the wall is paper thin.

We loved how clean it was how helpful and kind the staff was. We loved it being within walking distance of the convention center and downtown Disney. With 2 teenage boys the continental breakfasts offered lots of options including protein. We will stay here again.

It was great ! They allowed us to check in early upon my request since I had kiddos with me and we drove 7 hours. Over all Sarah and Bobbi were awesome !

Great hotel and not too far from Disneyland. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Staff is super nice and rooms are clean and spacious. Hate the parking. We arrived back at the hotel late night coming back from Disneyland and we had such a hard time finding a parking spot. Parking garage is small and this hotel is shared parking with another hotel in the same lot.

I liked that it was within walking distance to Disneyland & the Anaheim Convention Center.

Everything was great. No laundry facility onsite, you have to go to the next hotel over. Other than that it was a good stay.

The hotel overall is great—clean and with an excellent breakfast. However, there’s no microwave in the room. Other than that, everything is wonderful.

Got a king size bed with bunkbed rooms. The top bunk had sheets crumpled on top like they didn't make it after it was used. Called they said they would send someone. Never did.

nightmare in thanksgiving

I cannot say any thing good about the experience that I had the elevator was not working. They had one elevator working for a weekend that it was really busy. We had to use the stairs to go down and it was also horrible because everybody was using the stairs not to mention this hotel is next to Disneyland and it was completely booked. They had other events going on at the convention center also which made the hotel even more busier request was a nightmare to go down even if you got up early it was still about 45 minutes to go down because of only one elevator working so we had to go up and down the stairs room service I guess was minimize to every other day, probably for the same reason or maybe it’s just the hotel the way they work. Parking was $30 per night, which was also terrible because they did not have enough spaces for cars to park and they would park you in random places. Overall this experience was not good for me. I would not recommend this place to stay.

Overall not impressed

This hotel was not up to snuff to Hyatt standards. I am surprised at the high rating! Overpriced due to the location near the park. When we checked in, our 1st room had dried sewage backed up into the bathroom sink. Thankfully they changed our room quickly, but the shower drain ran slow and was backing up during showers, and the pool was unexpectedly closed, so one has to wonder if they had overall sewage issues. One of the 2 elevators was broken the entire time, and the other worked intermittently. On one of the evenings it had broken, we had to take the stairs up to our room one late evening after being at the parks - 4 flights of stairs with two youngsters after 10 miles at Disneyland was not ideal. Their "free breakfast" is a little worse than what you'd expect for free hotel breakfast. Watery eggs, flavorless potatoes and meat, stale bread. On our second day there we heard the staff telling another guest that they were running low on linens. The staff was all very friendly and did their best to accommodate our needs with a smile on their face, so for that I am grateful. Our second room was clean with comfortable beds - but overall, this facility is strongly lacking and we won't be booking here again.

Hyatt Place is a conveniently located property that offers a good range of free breakfasts and is within a walkable distance of Disney Parking. The staff is friendly and helpful and listens to the guests. However, the elevator was a big issue during our stay. One of the elevators wasn't working. Also, the elevator is shared by the housekeeping and guests. This makes it very congested as the housekeeping has their equipment and guests also carry the luggage. Other than this it was a pleasant stay.

One elevator not working from Nov. 24 to Nov. 29(dont know if it still out of sevice) Breakfast was repeated with same menu for 3 days.

After getting in our room, we unpacked all of our bags into the dressers. We immediately were going to bed and we noticed a small black dot. Getting closer there were black bugs all over the bed by the window. We checked the other one and that one had then too. I called front desk and a lady brought us another room key and moved us rooms. Later the elevators weren’t working and everyone in the hotel now had to use the stairwell, not that it is the end of the world but it is inconvenient in situations. Plus side the breakfast was delicious and the women cooking in the kitchen were very friendly. It was very centrally located to a lot of different things that my family and I got to enjoy.

Bad hotel stay

Elevator broke so we had to use the stairs. We were in the fourth floor! Not cool if you’re old or handicapped. Also there were bugs near the vent. Really gross! I won’t be going back.

Spacious rooms. Staff were all great. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were not operating for the entire stay. That was a bummer. And the room soundproofing was not great, we could hear guests above us and in the connecting rooms. Overall it was a good stay.

Security lady need to learn a better customer serv

The hotel was mediocre. Although I understand that you get what you pay for but some of the service was below average. We checked in super late around 2 AM and at around 2:30 AM, the security lady was at our door asking us to be quiet. All we were doing was trying to put our kid to bed. Being a family person, I’m well aware about the quiet time at the hotel but I cannot help when my toddlers wakes up from the sleep. The security lady acted as if we were doing a party in the room which was unnecessary.

The room was very clean and had a modern feel. Breakfast was actually really good and lots of options. Staff was always polite and friendly. I was unaware of the daily parking fee which I didn’t like that I had to pay. That was my only issue.

Breakfast included was great start. Great hotel option, about a 15minute walk to Disney. Hotel was clean and friendly, plenty of dining choices in the area. Only downside was booking lisiting labeled the pool and hot tub, only to arrive and be told you would have to use their sister hotels amenities.

Terrible Service

We had a terrible experience. Upon getting to the hotel to check in Bobby was very rude. Just told us we needed to pay. My price was higher than what it said online. I went back and told her and she told me super rude its deposit and parking. Was not good enough to explain prices correctly. Upon checking out I also asked for a water since last year when we went they had offered us. The girl just asked "Are you a world of hyatt member. Overall i wouldnt stay at this hotel in the future.

Nice clean, quiet property within walking distance of Disneyland parks

Great experience. The breakfast was very good it’s something I always look for when getting hotels for my Disney trips and this one has to be the best. It was a clean place and not far from the parks My only complaint would be the sofa bed It sucked so bad, my back was hurting for days but I guess that’s how it is when it comes to sofa beds maybe just add a little thicker mattress

The staff was great! Helpful and always friendly. The bathtub/shower had problems. The breakfasts were great!

Check in was easy and fast. Went about my day and they texted me once my room was ready. Staff was nice and welcoming.

Very reasonably priced

I have stayed here many times. It is very convenient, quiet and clean. The things I feel like they need:: they need a waffle maker, cereal isnt enough for children and most don't like eggs and potatoes. Please add better blankets on your sofa bed. The only thing I really dislike is the fristed door going into the bathroom. It lets off too much light, when someone is using the bathroom and others are still sleeping.

It was a barrier to not have the hotel pool accessible; having to go to the hotel next door added some inconvenience though staff were approachable about the change.

Easy to check in, friendly staff. Provided complimentary breakfast, which was okay. No amenities like lotions or cotton buds left in the room, so you have to request.

There was a nice hotel but when we got there, the pool and hot tub were closed and when we booked hotels for Disney, we were looking for that because of the kids they love to swim in the afternoon they were offered to go to another hotel next-door, but I felt like that was inconvenience. The hotel was clean, but I did not and my guess did not prefer the glass doors on the bathroom because anytime someone got up to go to the bathroom to turn on the light. The whole room was illuminated and the fridge in the rooms was not cold enough it was cold, but not like a refrigerator should be other than that It was a nice hotel so first time there Would not stay there again

Thin walls. We were kept awake by another family opening and closing what sounded like a prison door multiple times. Also, request a room away from Harbour Blvd. The property is just feet away from the road and you can hear every car speeding away from each light.
