Great place to stay within walking distance to the space and science center.

We loved the view of the space station. And the updated rooms with no carpet! Shower was wonderful!

Nice and close to rocket center! Helpful desk clerk.

When we asked the front desk to help us when we had no hot water, they did not fix it, they did not allow us to changed rooms so we were not able to take showers. The offered no resolution or apologies.

It was a very nice hotel. The only complaint we had was there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the room to watch television. The bed faced away from the television and it could not be turned to watch.

I did a short staycation. The hotel and staff were wonderful. No complaints.

The staff at the front desk charged my card a wrong amount and lied to me and gave me the run around the whole weekend about it and I had to leave the hotel without it being resolved and have to deal with it over the phone

Surprising that neither WiFi nor breakfast was included. I should have been more careful with the booking. Dinner service was extremely slow. I think they were understaffed.

The staff was very nice. Our room was very clean. The view of the space center was magnificent. There was a problem with soup that we ordered for dinner. The chef identified the problem BEFORE serving it to us. He then made a new batch and had it ready for us to get later in the evening. Outstanding customer service by the chef.

Liked the cleanliness and the size of the room. Didn’t like there was no microwave in the room & wasn’t aware about paying for wi-fi.

My stay at the hotel was amazing. I was so happy to have the patio. The room could use a small sofa although i believe with the balcony you do lose that option. Very modern, friendly staff and accommodating. The bar experience was pretty good but the restaurant was closed earlier rhan mentioned on business hours.

The bathroom did not thoroughly feel clean… There was a lot of hair on the floor… Also, there was one night where there was smoke coming out from the vents and I called the front desk to try to have someone come out and look. They told me that they will try to get someone out but they were in the middle of a shift change and would be there soon. Needless to say nobody ever showed up

The staff seemed friendly enough but when we went down to get an extra blanket from the from desk she said someone would bring one up and they never did. Also the trim was falling off the wall and the bathroom door had a large gap in in.

When I arrived I was placed in a room with double beds my reservation was for a king the staff was amazing they put us in another room with no hassle. Well the 6th floor smelled like there had been some water damage and our room smelled horrible. We sprayed and wiped down to get by. The pillows were so flat and uncomfortable as well as the bed. I surprised my husband with a trip to the space center and the overall experience was good. We couldn’t wait to get home to our bed

Everything was very nice! Staff were all very helpful and attentive; location was excellent; rooms were clean and comfortable!

Property was clean and staff friendly but ice maker didn’t work on my floor and the lady at front desk did not provide needed information which I had to go back for twice : meal ticket number, wifi passcode and breakfast time and location.

Real life is more fun than watching YouTube.

I was there trying to relax while I did some business around town, but it only made me realize that too many people fall asleep to politics and religion everyday here in the deep south. Next time I stay at one, I won't even invite any anxiety riddled folk to my room. The hotel and attractions are great, but all the duplicitous political campaigns are hurting the country at the moment... Everyone wants to win, but none want to take risks. I swear, all this ignorance and propaganda is keeping people from finding the things that really matter in life.

There wasn’t enough parking in the main lot after 730pm so having to park over by the cabanas felt a little unsafe bc I couldn’t see my vehicle from my room. The room was extremely humid-air conditioned but humid. Staff was professional and courteous.

The staff was very poor with their customer service. It took 15 mins for someone to come from the back office to check me in, and I asked for an email receipt, I never received. Other marriott locations have been far more superior as far as customer service and attentiveness.

The floors were really dirty. The lamp was broken. I was double charged for the room at the hotel during check in even though I had already paid theough expedia and even asked before swiping my card to confirm it was just for a security hold. Was told multiple times that they would getnit refunded but it still hasnt arrived in my account and its been almost a week since I stayed there.

It was very pleasant staying here, its just beside the Rocket Center and you can go walking from There.

New management didnt even follow up

I booked a room for a freind of mine amd myself. 2 queen beds and breakfast. When we chkd in amd was guven rhe keys...nothing was said about it being a room with only 1 queen bed. We went to our room to see only 1 bed. When we went back down, and i askked about my booking i was told yhat was all they had. They asked to see my booking confirmed .i showed my 2 bed booking. Was told they would try and move us. Later that evening at the bar...yhe bartender was SO RUDE to every patron there!! We and many others were a little shocked...but went outside after closing and had a good time. Yhe next day i asked about our room change and was told they had one on the first floor by the pool but yhey dint like to put songle ladies there for security reasons. Ok. That night the bartender refused to use the new espresso machine they had for customers I asked for a glass of wine. They didnt have any. Yhey went to go get some and 28 min later came back!! I was like forget it! The day of chk out ( after staying in the EXTREMELY damp room..i get a call seeing if i had the opportunity to mo e rooms. I told herthe situation amd she said she specifically said put us in the 4th floor! We went and asked the lady at the desk..who was the lady we chkd in with..but she said she wasnt..lol! Whatever. The management apologized and ag e us a breakfast voucher I already paid for breakfast. At breakfast, the pastries had MOLD all over them!!! That was it!! Mangaer said he woukd email me

Average but convenient to space camp.

Bathroom floor was really dirty and the rug under the bed didn’t fit the room and was a tripping hazard. I reserved a room with two beds and they sold it to someone else so we had a king room. They did give us a free breakfast which was nice.

An excellent hotel- modern, clean and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable. I could not hear any other guests from my room even though I knew the hotel was full. Food onsite was okay, the breakfast brunch was mediocre and not worth the price. Expedia offered an upcharge for "Breakfast for two" which only ended up being $10 off per person for an $18 breakfast. Expedia also losts this as having free airport shuttle and heated indoor pool, which it does not. They do have a nice outdoor pool. But no airport shuttle means I paid more to stay here than expected.

It’s fine if you aren’t looking for service.

The room had an odd, musty smell. I called front desk to ask if they would come and spray something while we were out, which they agreed to, but when we walked in it smelled the same. When I called front desk to enquire, they told me that the person who went in didn’t smell anything. The pool was pretty dirty. I ended up extending my stay for another night because I wasn’t feeling well, but had to do it through their website. Apparently they don’t book rooms at front desk. Two out of the 3 times I had any contact with reception, they seemed bothered by just having to speak on the phone. I’m not staying there again.

Staff lied. Cockroach in room when we walked in. Towels and counters were nasty

The staff are wonderful- I do Not like the pay to park and the rooms need to be fixed like doors all chipped , showers are patched cheaply, elevators look dirty etc the pool area is beautiful

Double charged at checkin!!! Beware of Marriott

Paid up front on hotels.com for the weekend and once I checked in Marriott charged me again for the full amount of the stay, after complaining they said it was an error on their part didn’t correct it an immediately fixing it and releasing the funds. It is currently still pending in my account. Really upsetting that was almost $450 taken away for my family to spend on our trip. In top of that the hotel is way overpriced anyway for the condition of the hotel.

They had a noise coming from the kitchen vents under our window. I could not sleep, and they didn’t have any other alternative room. They compensated me for breakfast.

CHARGED FOR PARKING ONLY OFFERED AN OFF SITE ROOM THAT WAS UNSAFE ON ARRIVAL. NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF SUCH A THING

Great stay!

The room looked totally different than advertised on Expedia. It was like a cheaper hotel room. The furniture was totally uncomfortable. The sheets were scratchy. The front desk was awesome. The dining area staff took too long after placing the order and the order was not as ordered.

It wasn't all we hoped it would be.

We planned our trip to the Space & Rocket Museum, and we wanted a place close to it. We planned for the price and location that the Marriott in Huntsville would be special. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our hopes. They double charged my credit card, and the sign out from mentioned charging $12 a night for parking. I had to go down to the lobby after check-in to ask about Wi-Fi services because no one at the front desk would answer the phone. Overall, it wasn't a bad hotel but for the cost and expectation of it being a Marriott, it was a let down.

Great stay. The hotel was near the locations attended, near food and shopping. I wish breakfast was complimentary, this is why I selected the hotel but found once I got to the hotel that breakfast is $20 when you're some kind of marriott member (I'm a Bonvoy member and did not have the option of continental breakfast. The rooms were clean, beautiful view, great service and the hotel was quiet. My family and I enjoyed our relaxing stay.

The Marriott was an ideal location to walk to the space center. What I did not like was having to pay for WiFi each day for each phone. Also breakfast was not included. Had all these separate fees and extra fees. We are a retired couple and did not appreciate all the added costs.

Pros- Rooms were comfortable. Beds were comfortable but we did find a large stain in the comforter. Continental breakfast did haBe a good selection even tho all the food was cold. Cons- Asked for pool towels since it was empty front desk said someone would bring us some to the pool. No one brought anything so we asked a second time. Never did get towels and had to air dry and walk back to the room wet. Food was very overpriced. Cost almost $100 for the continental breakfast and all the food we got was cold. The butter wouldn’t even melt on my sons pancakes because it wasn’t warm enough.

More menu items at restaurant would be nice.

I can't comment on the property as I did not get to stay there. The hotel did not have my reservation and Expedia was freaking useless. I ended up being moved to another hotel and was assured I would not have to pay for the other one...guess what happened? A 160 dollar room so far has cost me over 500. And nobody knows what the problem is. And let's not forget the Expedia guy calling me several times from a personal phone asking for money for food and transportation and telling me if I gave him money he'd give me free nights on my next booking. Then there's my card being used in another country right after I got of the phone with him.

It was well-located and pretty quiet. We chose this hotel because we wanted to be able to walk to the Space and Rocket Center. The restaurant (Southern Chop) was good.

All the people were very professional and took their time. The greeters at the door both days were wonderful to talk to. This is the customer service that has been fading from so many businesses. Thank you for a great night with my family.

The beds were nicely comfortable, better than many other Marriott stays, and the rooms climate was not sticky or all over the place temperature wise like some others. The stay was very nice.

Best digs by Space center/camps

Great place to stay for Space Camp Aviation Challenge. Staff was incredible! Especially Ty the shuttle driver who went above and beyond to help us. Food (had lunch in bar) was amazing! Highly recommend.

We are on day 9 of a 14 day road trip. We were so happy with our room. We especially liked the bathroom. The shower and shampoos and soaps were spectacular. The hotel was in walking distance from the space and rocket center where we were visiting the next day. We stopped at the restaurant for breakfast and were terribly disappointed. All the food was cold and the quality mediocre. The price was outrageous considering the quality. When you consider that we could have paid less for a room at another hotel and had breakfast included, it was very disappointing, considering the quality we normally expect from Marriott. Save yourself the money and go to Starbucks.

This was very convenient to the space center camp facility where we went to pick up our grandson. Very quiet facility and walking distance to the space program.

The hotel was damp. The AC would not cool our room below 72. When we called the front desk- they never answered. Out of 5 light bulbs 4 were out.

Loud elevator

Great hotel and location for Space camp. The only issue was the super loud elevator dings that woke us up a few times at night. We were two rooms away from the elevator, and could hear every time it stopped on the floor. We would only stay again if we could have a room all the way down the hall. Otherwise, it was comfortable and clean.

Staff were all very polite and accommodating
