Great base to explore the highlights of the city. Safe, quiet location with good Indian restaurant next door. Limited car parking so get there early if you're bringing your own vehicle.

Safe area, free parking, humble stay

Spent a getaway here, the service was amazing! for the budget its a spacious room in a wonderful safe area with a lot of nightlife. Parking is free and gated overnight, amazing bonus. Also netflix was available! The bathroom was small and plumbing was a small issue, still recommend this stay

Property is quite old but I think few renovations were made. Noisy since it’s next to the street and you can hear people dragging their luggage’s, talking and etc. very limited parking. Good part about it is the location its close to restaurants, shops and transportation.

Room was somewhat smoky, but I only stayed one night, so I didn't bother to ask to change. No hot breakfast was a little disappointing.

The only complaint if i had one would be that they need weather stripping around the doors and at the bottom. There was a large gap that allowed a ton of cold air into the room. I had to put a rolled up towel in front of the door to stop the air coming in.

It was really simple.

This gem of a hotel is clean, quiet, and well maintained. It is in a nice neighborhood near the bay. It is remarkably affordable in a city of very expensive hotel rooms. It even includes parking, albeit somewhat limited. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to SF.

The hotel area is not bad , near street food and shopping area.the room is clean and nice but their walls is not soundproof so, you can hear some noise from outside.

We liked the location. Rooms decently clean. We didn’t like that there was not enough parking. Only few spots for free parking. Luckily found a parking on the street.

Manager accomodated us early when our plans changed. Inside parking, small, but safe. Easy to drive in and out. Good breakfast. No elevator in an old building, but good hand rails on staircase.

The hotel was nice it was clean considering the age of the hotel the only problem is the limited parking. The fact that all the rooms are on the second and third level and no elevator. I had to carry all the luggage up to the third level no elevator in the hotel. Pretty centralized. Everything with in walking distance.

They were hand towels and towels provided in the room. One of the hand towels had makeup all over it. As if it was not washed but folded and put back. When taking a shower the next morning the shower (waterspout) fell apart. there was a small window in the room with a cooler below it. There was dry rot very bad. The dry rot went from the outside to the inside of the room down to the floor. There was a severe soft spot in the floor. We avoided the far side of the bed during the entire stay.

Location is great if you you wanna be downtown. Room is pretty small. Sadly no cups, glasses or coffee maker in the room. Tv is really small and just standard TV stations with no options like Netflix etc.

Quiet and excellent

The property is old, and the open space outside the rooms gets wet when it rains. The water accumulates and can cause accidents, as it's slippery. The free breakfast is the same food every day, cereal, pancakes, and fruits, and sometimes no more food left. Anyway, the property served its purpose for sleeping and for basic necessities with no other amenities available.

The only thing was that we had ants by the last day coming in from the ceiling other than that the starches great and the staff was very courteous

Overall the property is good for its convenience as it is close to major landmarks and value for money. Linen could be cleaner and stain free. Staff was super friendly and very helpful!

The brreakfast was terrible . Only one waffle machine and you have to make a long line to make one waffle and that’s all the breakfast you will get. Employees were friendly but building is old and smells like humidity everywhere. Don’t go

Beware - parking is first come first serve basis.

Upon arrival there was no parking available. They have a sign at the counter saying first come first for parking. However, they claim this is stated on the online reservations. This is not true.

It was alright

It was good. I didn’t like the fact that receptionist told me he would save my parking spot when I picked up my wife at airport at midnight. I got back and it was gone. He was dishonest. Lastly a long hair in tub well showering.

It was a nice place, my first time in San Francisco CA Glad I found this place

Room was fine, Property was loud

Very noisy, very thin walls, you can hear everything that goes on around the area. Located on a busy street so you hear all the traffic noise as well. Room was assigned to us but was not ready, we had to wait for the cleaning ladies to change the pillow cases and towels before we went in. Room was clean but we saw a couple cockroaches on the sofa chair so we didn't use it.

Definitely a reliable stay, parking is first come first serve.

Nice place to stay

Room was clean and nice. However, location of the hotel is near many bars. Very nosey at night. Front desk did nothing to quiet people down. Could not sleep due to people yelling outside of the rooms. Would not stay again.

Great Location in lively SF Area.

I stayed in a front street facing room with decent access via stairwell. The room was comfy and ample in size for my x2 nights stay. Parking availability was excellent and location of the accommodation is perfect to explore San Francisco’s many blocks and friendly bars. Sad to leave but Happy to have stayed…

Considering we were in San Francisco stay was satisfactory but parking available was deceptively presented and most inadequate.

The staff was very helpful and overall the hotel is conveniently located to see San Francisco. The pictures on Expedia promise more than what in reality the room looks like. Breakfast is very basic and the breakfast room was freezing. Two negatives: the parking is limited (but the description on Expedia does not mention that) and there is no elevator (not clearly stated as well). And finally the AC in the room was too loud to be kept on during night.

This property was wonderful for the price. The rooms were renovated and spacious. The beds were comfortable, ac worked great and plenty of hot water. Parking was limited but we lucked out with a spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice little place

The staff were exce llent, they were knowledgeable and helped us catch the transit and which street and direction we should go to, Has a continental breakfast which saved us a few bucks. The rooms were clean and had good amenities like fridge microwave, coffee pot and safe Great vale for the price..excellent

SF marina hotel

The room cleanliness is okay. Parking in the premises was very limited, so we tried to only go out with the car if necessary. Otherwise it's 1st come 1st serve only. This place is not old people (senior citizens) friendly. There's no elevator. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors only. The ground floor is used for parking.

The gentleman that checked us in was very nice. And he went out of his way to help up with the bus schedule.

The propriety was ok,but only one problem I was concerned about is that the noise when people get in or out of the stairs, they doesn’t care about other people’s so much noise.

I loved how it was a very easily accessible place, i loved the breakfast options, the room was big and clean and the staff were very helpful too. The faucet joint was leaking and i told them about it and they fixed asap. The housekeeping also made sure our bed was made and towels were changed. Overall we had a great experience.

The rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Some room amenities like soap and hair dryer were not good though. Staff was very nice. However the breakfast doesn't actually have hot breakfast I think, just basic milk/coffee and cereal and some snacks. But the cleanliness and comfort made it pretty good overall, and there were many restaurants nearby.

a convenient, safe stay. Especially for the price! However - the noise travels easily here, the doors have big gaps, and the people staying were def at bars / came back loudly and late (no judgement) so it was hard to stay asleep!

Worth the stay!

The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful even before I arrived and was willing to guide me in how to find parking when I got there. Breakfast was simple but sufficed. Would've been nice to have body wash with the shampoo and conditioner they offered but they just were simply waiting on the shipment. Loved the option to text the front desk with any needs. The lot was TINY (about 12 spots) but there's sufficient free street parking. Close to about everything, walking distance to a lot or restaurants, the wharf and Chinatown. Rooms were bright, cheery and clean. Would recommend it for the service, value and location.

Good sleep

Great location to hit Fisherman's Wharf. Rooms are ok, but beds and sheets were outstanding. We slept well.

The staff there deserve a 10/10, they helped me so much in my stay and provided me with assistance every time. The property itself was pretty decent I liked it. It is close to the pier and to certain food areas.

The hotel staff was very friendly and our room was very clean.

Office entrance door full of fingerprints all day. Welcome mat has worn out it’s welcome and is a trip hazard. Maybe consider power spraying the hall ways. Otherwise everything was cleaned very well. Air conditioner worked great, the bed was very comfortable. Hotel personnel were very polite and friendly.

Perfect location

It was a quiet stay but parking is first come, first serve and there only about 10 small spots in a parking garage. Tight squeeze. Also there’s no elevator so be prepared to haul your luggage up the stairs.

Had a terrible stay here. So much so that we decided to leave halfway through the night for another hotel. This place is extremely noisy. Other groups were yelling screaming and slamming doors all night. Complained multiple times to management and to the groups themselves but very little was done. Decided to go to another hotel to ensure we at least got some sleep in. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Had a great experience, went to San Francisco to visit Alcatraz island & the city for the very first time ever in my life w a decent amount of change was able to find this great location for an affordable price , great location, safe , there is very limited parking first come first serve basis & 1 parking spot per room , if you do happen to park your car on street you’re car is safe I drive a high end vehicle n did not worry about my car parked on street only thing is MOVE YOUR CAR BEFORE 6AM FOR STREET SWEEPER !! They do provide breakfast but it is CONTINENTAL breakfast so don’t be expecting a 5 star platter lol but all in all I had a great experience 5 stars from me

Room is clean staff we’re kind and helpful. Breakfast was bad and limited to items with sugar; no cheese or eggs or , honey and jam. You can’t call your breakfast as contenantal. With few things with little cost services would be much better.

Hi, overall the stay was fine. The sheets were clean and there was a place to lay my head at night. The walls were paper thin however and I could hear everything around me almost like they were in the same room. There is also no elevator and no extra staff to help with things like that.
