Overall everything was fine

Overall the hotel is nice, affordable, and a decent breakfast! Definitely would stay here again

Advertised as a 4 star hotel and I suppose it was in the 70's and 80's. Nowadays, it's a bit tired and in need of a refurbishment. Having said that, the staff are wonderful and the hotel is clean. Our room had workable air conditioning. The hotel advertises EV Charging but, in reality it's a few 13 amp sockets and the loan of a granny charger. However, I can't complain as the charging was free. There are two garage floors and most bays didn't have power so EV drivers may find it difficult to park near a power socket. If you like shopping, the hotel is ideally situated very close to the main shopping area. There's also a hiking path just behind. In my view, the staff were the stars at this hotel. I'd go back just for that reason.

Needs update and training their cleaners

It was really central and easy to walk everywhere. The bed was comfortable. Took my first shower with no shower gel, the bottle attached in the bathroom was completely empty. Used my own hair shampoo as a shower gel. Reception apologized and asked the cleaner to fill it up. Following day and after cleaner already cleaned my room in the morning, while I was away, I came back to change clothing around 13:30 and the cleaning supervisor without knocking the door entered my room! Again reception apologized. The hotel needs and update and definitely doesn’t feel that this is a 4 star hotel. The reception staff spoke English and were polite.

Great for an overnight stay. Secure underground parking for our motorcycle. The meal deal breakfast and dinner buffets were an absolute bargain.

There is a expensive charge for parking. But all rest is very good.

Excellent hotel

Fabulous hotel, wonderfully helpful staff that went above & beyond to assist us extend our stay. Lovely large room. Well appointed bathroom. Very comfortable beds. We ate in snack room & restaurant, food was good quality & nicely cooked. Breakfast buffet was superb & included cooked option that was being freshly cooked. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just Okay

Nothing was per say wrong with the hotel...the less than great review is just because I would never consider it a 4 star hotel. The hotel has better ratings and is more expensive than we experienced. If I'm going to be paying that much, I would expect a nicer stay. The one positive is the location was very good - walking distance to the center and shopping areas.

Not worthy of 4*

Certainly not worth a 4* rating. Wi-fi was almost non existent and beds not overly comfortable. Hotel looks a little run down and could do with some TLC. Well located for the bus station and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area so can’t complain about the location. For the money, you can probably do a lot better.

Good location

The hotel is in a good location, it is a 10 min walk (with luggage) to the bus station, there is a large supermarket just across the road from it and it is within an easy walk of a lot of restaurants

Close to centre

Great location but very dated. Not a British standard 4 star,more of a 3/2. Staff friendly but early breakfast is not what you would get. Clean although dated

Great location at a great price.

Great location, price and staff. The cafeteria was decent and reasonably priced when you feel like resting in the hotel. WiFi worked in all public areas and the room, it was also much better than noted in previous reviews. The room was outdated and therefore appeared slightly unkempt. Great value for the cost. I would highly recommend to any travelers passing through. Perhaps choose something slightly fancier if you are in Andorra for a length stay.

don't eat the food

we were stuck at the back of the hotel over looking the vents fro the kitchen...great, breakfast was an absolute rip off 17.50 each, parking 8 euros per night. extras being nothing cost 140 euros... ridiculous

Why visit Andorra?

I can't think of any good reason. Andorra del Valle is like an Alpen-themed strip-mall. Surly locals, terrible traffic. There is probably some charm and culture somewhere. But it's probably hidden by a McDonalds.

Good stay at center of Andorra la Vella

Great location next to my friends' house. Professional and efficient personnel and clean room. Hotel will eventually need a facelift, but works just fine right now.

Nice Place

We stayed only 1 night, but found this place to be all we needed. With an outdoor swimming pool, bar & it's close proximity to the town centre, we wasn't disappointed.

Comfortable and friendly

We stayed here as the hotel was closest to the bus station. The room was clean, comfortable and value for money. Service at reception and in the bar was very good. We didn't use the dining room.

Convenience in Andorra la Vella

This hotel was a good option for a two-night stay in Andorra. It a two-minute walk from where the buses arrive from Barcelona/airport. It is an easy walk to the Tourist Information Center plus the main street [Meritxell] and Old Town. The decor is dated and there are no views--right next to a McDonald's--but the bed was firm, the bathroom stocked, staff were friendly and helpful, the free Wifi worked well, and the price was right. It was convenient to find the Andorra 2000 department store, which includes a large supermarket, diagonally opposite. I would stay there again.

Room stank of smoke, walls thin, traffic kept me awake most of night. Ending up checking out at 4am.

OK Hotel, poor Internet

The hotel is within walking distance of the tourist sites, but it is on the other city of Andorra. The room was adequate, (smaller size). There is noise from the pub across the street, which might bother other people, but I didn't mind because I was up anyway. The big issue is the Internet. If you depend on the web, you will be disappointed; some times it worked, but most of the time it froze. They also did not have my reservation for some reason and claimed that there were no rooms available. So, I was required to make long-distance telephone calls to Hotels.com to get this solved. And, yes they did have a room, afterall.

Comfortable, mid-range stay near La Vella station

Warm and friendly welcome, allowed to leave my bag at reception before check-in time. Room slightly rustic in feel, comfortable, mini-bar, in-room WiFi, BBC World on TV. Very fair price, not three minutes' walk from the bus station for easy arrival/departure to/from Barcelona. Cafe/restaurant attached. Breakfast a bit of a bun fight, but at this price, no complaints at all. Highly recommended.

A bit outdated but very nice hotel. Located close to the town and in a good distance to a fortress. Rooms clean and Cousy Neighbourhood seems to be ok but some dodgy people walking aroun (train station nearby) In general - I would stay again. Worth the money

OK hotel

The Hotel was ok. A good breakfast, parking on site (a bit pricey), free WiFi (good). Main downside was that the air con was not working and it was very hot when we stayed. There was a nice looking pool. On the whole pretty good value.

Road works close to the hotel((

The same time i stayed in this horel there were several football teams, around fifty young men with their parents. It was a challenge!

Adequate...I suppose

The only reason I'm recommending this hotel is based on cost. For my $85 we got free wifi in the room and breakfast included for two. Location was decent...but realistically, all hotels are probably decent location as the capital is easy to navigate. My biggest complaints are that parking as 16 Euro, or about $20, for the night...ridiculous...and that even though we were on the non-smoking floor, all the rooms smelled of smoke. Clearly this hotel had allowed smoking everywhere and then just designated a floor to be non-smoking. Unless you completely overhaul the room and swap carpet, drapes and all the linens...it doesn't make it a non-smoking room.

The location was ideal, right next to the bus station and walking distance to the shopping and the Caldea Spa. The rooms looked very basic but clean. The reception staff was helpful, couretous and spoke English. Overall, a bit more expensive to the quality of hotel and service.

Regrattably there was no air conditioning while romm temperature was over 25 degr c. According to reception airconditioning was not switched on for individual rooms as it was not warm enough.

A pessima nota desta minha avaliação para este hotel, se dá por um funcionário que desonra a elegância e o bom trato a um hóspede! Grosseiro no café da manhã, ríspido e mal humorado, foi capaz de me criticar por um croissant envolto em guardanapo, perguntando-me com atrevimento se eu não tinha visto o cartaz na parede … eu voltei, li e deixei o alimento, regras são regras!!! No outro dia, correu ao me ver, e avisou ao recepcionista que ficasse de olho por que eu era brasileiro … onde estamos? É pra onde a humanidade quer ir? Enfim, zero … atrevido insolente deselegante grosseiro preconceituoso e etc

Teníamos media pensión incluida pero me han dicho en el hotel que no incluían las bebidas. La habitación era una doble donde habían metido una cama más, no era triple. Y los colchones te inclinaban hacia un lado. El menú de cena muy normal y lo mejor el desayuno, abundante y variado. El personal amable.

Un hotel simple, no parece de 4 estrellas. La cena recalentada y poca variedad. Personal agradable. Limpieza correcta.

Para empezar he de decir que los empleados muy bien en general, pero al llegar a la habitación vimos que la pared estaba como arreglada con aguaplast los agujeros, y lo habían dejado así, la pared era verde y el aguaplast es blanca, imaginaros el cuadro. Nos pusieron una cama supletoria que era para el peque que más que cama era un cama elástica, rebotabas lo más grande. La habitación no la habían barrido bien y debajo de la cama había suciedad. El pomo de la puerta por dentro al salir nos lo quedamos en la mano. Estábamos en un 3ro y ascensor por lo que sea no lo podíamos llamar porque no funcionaba el botón. La tarjeta la teníamos que poner 4 o 5 veces para entrar en la habitación porque nunca funcionaba a la primera. La cama era muy incómoda, cada vez que se giraba mi marido rebotaba yo. En fin, para ser 4 estrellas no vale la pena, la verdad. No lo recomiendo para nada

En general el hotel está muy bien, buena zona, limpio, parking, lo único negativo, he de decir que en el desayuno hay un camarero, que fué bastante mal educado con clientes que le preguntaban algo, uno de ellos le llamó la atención.

La chambre n’était pas propre du tout !!! Taches de moisissures dans la salle de bain. Retouches de peinture blanche sur un mur vert. Sortie du chauffage poussiéreux +++… L'hôtel propose un parking gratuit, sauf qu’une fois sur place, plus de place disponible, la solution proposée est d’aller sur un parking payant …. nous nous sommes donc garé dehors, devant l’hôtel (aucuns panneaux ne l’interdisait), et nous avons eu une jolie petite amende … 50€ à payer. J’ai bien demandé à la réception ce qui pouvait être fait pour ça, on m’a répondu que c’était pas leur problème. Des frais (taxes) imprévues à régler en plus … Mauvaise expérience, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel ! Hors de prix durant cette période, plus de 200€ la nuit. Nous nous attendions à mieux.

Cómodo y cerca del centro

Está a 9 minutos andando del centro, el hotel es cómodo pero haría falta una pequeña reforma, la decoración y las camas ya son un poco antiguas. Las paredes están sin pintar y me he encontrado pelo de mujer por todas partes. Pero relación calidad precio es aceptable sin más.

Como hotel de 4 estrellas , los he visto mucho mejores de 2 estrellas. Como mucho para mi sería de 2 estrellas y 1/2. Pero el personal que me ha atendido un 10 sobre 10. Ok.

Nous avons trouvé l'équivalent d'une poignée de céréales sous le lit à notre arrivée. La femme de ménage n'a même pas pris le temps de nettoyer sous les lits. Ménage 0/100. Nous avons été réveillé à 8h car des travailleurs ont commençait à donner des coups de marteau et autres dans la chambre juste au-dessus de la nôtre. Hallucinant !! Respect 0/100 Au vu de tous les hôtels avoisinants, nous ne conseillons pas du tout celui là, nous remettront plus jamais les pieds dans cette chaîne hôtelière. Désastreux ! A bon entendeur

Chambre très agréable, calme, côté montagne. Le petit réfrigérateur disponible dans la chambre est très pratique.

Hotel de 4 estrellas bien situado pero q necesita una reforma, lo peor la cama, limpieza discreta pero por el precio pagado no se puede pedir más. La atención al cliente puede mejorar.

Viagem de casal Andorra

O hotel é muito bem localizado, na avenida principal, com muitos serviços próximos. O mobiliário do quarto era bom e atualizado. Contudo, o controle do ar condicionado era muito antigo, difícil controle do termostato. Além disso, a janela do quarto não tinha um bom isolamento dos ruídos externos.

Très bien reçus, infos pratiques. Chambre propre, très bonne literie. Chaînes françaises à la télé. Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Repas qui nous a convenu, seul bémol, les plats étaient froids. Je recommande cet hôtel.

Des travaux a prévoir

Bonjour Chambre très sombre avec du papier peint qui ce décolle, des tâches au plafond. Prise électrique dégradé. Des bas de porte cassée. Piscine hors service ( rebord en plastique cassé et eau non entretenu).

Très bon accueil le personnel est fort sympathique, l’hôtel en lui même est en bon état, il était en rénovation ( peinture ) La climatisation était fonctionnelle mais les lits très peu confortables il faudrait changer les oreillers. La piscine est à l’extérieur et est gratuite. Nous avions une vue sur un mur donc pas super Pour un court séjour ça va mais je ne recommande pas.

Decepción

Las fotos son de hace 30 años. El hotel en su momento debía estar muy bien, peor actualmente está muy dejado. Puertas muy desconchadas y desgastadas, lavabo perdía agua a chorro, camas incomodas y con ruido muy elevado, desayuno triste, piscina parece de hotel abandonado.

La comida muy mediocre y las estancias muy anticuadas no corresponde alas estrellas que tiene

Très bon séjour. Clim fonctionner très bien mais un peu de bruit quand même. Personnel très sympathique ! Parking fermée à 18€ la nuit. Et petit dej à 10€ par personne. Beaucoup de choix et très bon ! Très belle vue de la chambre ! Je recommande cette hôtel !

Decepcionante el Zenit Diplomatic

Contraté este alojamiento por tener parking ya que viajamos en moto y nos dijeron (de unas formas algo discutibles) que el parking estaba completo, que dejáramos la moto en el parking del McDonalds, “que se puede pasar por el ladito de la barrera y así no pagas”. Al llegar nos bajamos a la piscina… la gran mayoría de las baldosas de la zona de la piscina están sueltas, bailan y suenan conforme vas andando hacia la piscina. El agua llena de bichos y estábamos solos los huéspedes. Nadie del hotel por ningún lado (excepto en la recepción, obvio). El wifi va a ratos. Baaastante lejos de ser un 4 estrellas.

Atendimento da recepção horrível, ficamos mais de 20 minutos aguardando o funcionário chegar na recepção pois estava no restaurante. Hotel antigo em péssima condição

La ubicacion es buena,el personal muy bien, el desayuno muy mal poca cantidad y nada variado, caliente solo beicon y chistorra, nadie para hacer una tortilla ni un huevo frito, la cena no habia bufet, el parking muy estrecho y caro. Poco personal aunque todos hacian lo que podian. No volveremos

Las almohadas fatales y la Bulla del exterior no deja dormir… pasaban coches motos y era imposible coger el sueño !! No repito más..

Pour des personnes qui ont des problèmes de dos, une chambre standard est à éviter. Les lits sont vraiment moux, fins et on sent les ressorts. Une nuit très désagréable. Sans parler du bruit des voitures que l’on entend alors que la fenêtre est fermée.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Chambre un peu vieillissante mais globalement c'était très bien.

El hotel no se puede considerar de instalaciones correspondientes a 4 estrellas, aunque el servicio en general es correcto. Puntuación muy positiva para el buffet del desayuno, de un 4 estrellas sin dudar, y la atención del personal.
