Staff is excellent
Very clean, classy, well situated stay. Close to many musuems and cultural places.
Great location for museums and Hermann park. Not many dining options nearby but hotel restaurant was fine. Room was very nice, we had a balcony room. However there was some noise from the public transportation system which runs along the road by the hotel
Absolutely loved the room. Only drawback was when we wanted the room cleaned later in the day they said they would only do turn down service. They made the bed only. Didn’t even take away trash or used glasses. Just seemed not very customer oriented. Other than that it was great
Beautiful boutique hotel. Morning coffee bar was a nice amenity. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
Great hotel but would have liked a hot tub or heated pool, and internet to work in our room. Everything's else was great!
Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and experience! The staff were all friendly and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay! We will definitely be back!
Incredible service
I always enjoy staying at Zaza in Museum district as I love walking to the museums. This trip I had a flat tire that was punctured by a nail, the concierge took care of it and it was fixed during my one night stay. I arrived after 5 pm and all tire shops near by were already closed. This was an experience of superior service. Zaza forever!
Amazing hotel! We were greeted with champagne and fresh fruit.
Staff is great and lobby area well designed. Rooms, while spacious, clean and have good amenities feels a bit worn. Pillows are excellent!
Nice but noisy
It was a good stay. A little noisy due to a wedding and we were on the second floor.
ZaZa Always Great!
Great property convenient to central Houston, medical, museum and shopping areas.
The room was sizable and the bed was very comfortable with plush linens. The ambience of the lobby area vas filled with nice artwork and very inviting.
Beautiful hotel but they have done issues with their key situation. Had to get the key card reissued twice and ran into a couple at the elevator with the same issue. The room was extremely hot and it was really hard to sleep. Luckily we only stayed one night.
When checking in the team was dismissive. I was chastised for not knowing I was Express Pick up - Come to find out I was not, so I got a phone call at 10:38 that I took someone else’s room and that I needed to come downstairs to check in. Annoying, but we all have bad days, so not too angry. Then I get settled into my room and the robes had holes, the water pressure was poor and the hot water took about 12 minutes to get warm. The hotel itself presents well, but when you look closer, it’s really cutting corners.
Excellent rooms great customer service
Great hotel
Very nice and convenient location. Restaurant is excellent.
Great Location and VERY friendly staff
I really enjoyed my stay!
The property was very nice and conducive to our needs. I would have preferred an option to self-park, but the valet service was impeccable and we did not experience any delays in receiving our vehicle or concerns during our hotel stay. The best part of the hotel is their lovely turndown service every evening where staff brings by ice, purified bottled water in a glass, and moon pies.
From the moment we drove up to the Valet we were treated like royalty. The beds were so comfortable! I never sleep late, but was able to in the comfortable beds. Shower pressure was amazing with plenty of hot water. We ordered room service and the hamburgers were excellent!
I found the room to be dirty. Hair was in the shower and in the sink. AC vent had lots of dust in the duct.
I loved the shuttle that was able to take me to dinner and pick me up. I also felt so special having a complimentary fruit plate and water waiting for me when I returned from dinner. I wanted to live in the robe and I’m still kicking myself for not buying one. The view overlooking the fountains was beautiful.
Great place to spend our wedding anniversary! Thanks for the bottle of wine and charcuterie plate as an upgrade. The room with the balcony view was beautiful. Always love the coffee and teas on each floor in the morning. Will definitely be back!
A favorite place to stay when visiting Houston. Walking distance to world class museums and beautiful Hermann Park.
Great room
Great experience!
The stay was amazing from end to end. The bed was comfortable, the Restaurant was amazing (the Cajun pasta was tasty as was the opinion soup), the balcony was cool, everything about the stay was top notch. Thank you!
Zaza is an expensive hotel with small, strange rooms. Little space to sit. Decor is 1970s Hugh Hefner. They did put on a nice wedding but if I wasn’t going to an event there I would find another hotel.
loved it!
The hotel was very pretty. They closed their bar/restaurant was closed for a private party and we were never notified of this in advance which was extremely inconvenient as a family there for a cheer competition.
I liked the ambiance of the hotel and the location. The restaurant could use a menu upgrade. The food was only mediocre. The two male servers we had were excellent! Maddy & Milton. The Hostess not so much.
The staff are fantastic. The cost of parking for hotel valet can become a little extreme but that is a regional characteristic.
Great place. Really enjoyed my stay.
Best service we’ve ever had!!!
Amazing stay! The staff all around gave excellent service! Only comparison I have is the Ritz, and I feel ZaZa’s attention to detail was superior! We will certainly be back to stay here!
Upon checking, the front desk wouldn’t check me in unless my husband was there, the reservation was under his name, even though we have the same last name. The hotel is in need of renovation for sure. The carpets look dirty and old. The room was ok, but definitely past its prime. Valet staff were very nice and attentive.
Funniest Hotel in Houston!
We love this hotel and its uniqueness! Food is delicious and atmosphere is great! It’s our new favorite hotel!
Beautiful hotel
The hotel and lounge were beautiful. The staff was very helpful and we used the shuttle twice. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that there was a lot of noise in the hallways in the morning- the doors slam loudly.
Awesome service from front desk. Super friendly A+++
Great service. True full service hotel.
It's a great option.
Very unique, great location and great amenities
The room was expensive and we expected a nicer room
Chillin In Houston
Other than dim lighting everywhere it’s a fine stay in Houston - close to the Museum district. Friendly, lots of attention and help.
We enjoyed the convenience and proximity to NRG Stadium. The light rail was easily accessed. Most importantly, the staff was kaid back, friendly, and above all helpful.
Good rooms and hospitality. Maid service every day.
Staff was very helpful but this being our first time my wife and I didn’t know what to expect but heard it was great hotel. For the price we spent the room was very basic but the very kind receptionist upgraded our room when we spoke to her. The new room was a suite but again very basic, A/C did not work at all, shower did not drain the water so we showered with water up to our ankles. Live and learn but unfortunately would not recommend.
I have mixed reviews because I love Zaza hotels but there are a few issues with this location. The room I booked was small with rolled, old carpet and outdated furniture but the lobby was very nice. The service and hospitality was great everywhere except the bar. I had to flagged down the bartenders any time I needed something and felt like they really didn’t want to be there. It wasn’t busy and several people were having to wave and beg for attention. I still would return because I love the hotel line but will probably dine and drink elsewhere.
Hotel Za Za is very nice. It very beautiful inside and outside. Room was cozy and clean. Pool is excellent that we enjoyed a lot. Morning butler service was amazing with coffee and hot tea. Afternoon snacks were free and good. Restaurant is good and food is tasty. Thank you hotel stuff.
Stayed for my husband’s birthday and we had an excellent experience from start to finish.
Top notch service and location with considerate ammenities. Just amazing, we only hotel with zaza.
Very stylish and comfortable hotel with attentive service. Great pillows and a nice welcome platter of fruit
Love the artsy vibe of the hotel, the gym is great and overlooks a pretty courtyard. The museum district is a great location, you can walk to so many museums
Our sliding glass door to the balcony was challenging
High end. Great hospitality. Worth the money.
Always love the zaza. Was attending an event here and everything was first class - meeting rooms, food, drinks, hotel room, restaurant.
Hotel was very well-run, clean and nice rooms
Great experience!!!
Always a pleasure. Thanks so much!
Far too overpriced. Nothing special despite the cost. No different to a holiday inn.
I do not like extra 60 dollar property charge. When u shop rates it is not shown untill the final charge. This extra charge should be included in expedia rates up front.
Great historic hotel in museum district.
The room was very warm no matter what temperature we set the ac too
Everything was top notch.
Great Art...but the rest needs help
The hotel itself has a great Vibe and as part of the museum district has great art. Front desk support is lacking tremendously. The restaurant is also lacking tremendously. It is overpriced and the food is mediocre. They do up charges on your drinks without telling you. Not cool.
Short stay for our wedding but we loved it.
Always a nice comfortable stay at the ZAZA.
Great facility but our room was not very much sound proof, so we have heard the noise from the room next door.
Nice stay
Bed,pillows, and sheets were very comfortable. Room was quiet other than a few ambulances at night. I was bothered by the nightly knocking on the door by hotel staff to give out “free cocktails”. I just wanted to sleep in peace. My baby was also asleep. The front desk staff, valet, and bellman were very helpful in getting all my items in and out of my car. I wish there was a quicker continental style breakfast offered. Good proximity to museums and attractions.
It was amazing a lot of art ✨🩷
Always such a nice stay! Excellent rooms, friendly staff and great food and drinks.
Always enjoy staying here
Very nice hotel , enjoyed the pool area and good food
great location, nice pool
There was a musty smell to The rooms. Otherwise they were very comfortable , beds and towels very nice. The free coffee in am could have been greatly enhanced had you had some pastry or croissant available. At least on weekends.we enjoyed our stay .
Great stay as always
Great place to stay next to the Art Museum, restaurants, walking trails, metro and more.
Nightmare of a trip
The room advertised & the room received were not the same. Got moved to another room that was so dark. It was nicely decorated, but so dirty. Larger space, AC was broken and it stayed at 76° in the room for the first night. By the highway, felt loud and like the door wasn’t closing correctly so a little dirty. Next day we get moved to the amazing suite I paid for. Although it was good, it was dirty, robes smelt like smoke, and bathroom was dirty. Got my truck from valet only for part of my windsheild to be cracked. The manager on site couldn’t help, the general manager didn’t help either. Blamed me for the damage but the vehicle’s tag said no prior damage. It’s a ford. I would know if my windshield was cracked before my arrival. Waiting for claims to get back to me. The in room dining menu is limited and they prohibit outside food. Weird for anyone who may have allergies to do such a thing but oh well. The property manager left a nice bottle of champagne for the room switch issue, that’s great but I’m sober and paid way too much for the hell of a trip I had. I won’t be back.
Loved ZaZa
Thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay at ZaZa . My daughter, teenage granddaughters and I had a fun girl’s weekend shopping and attending a concert. Loved the morning Butler’s Pantry on each floor from 6-10 am where we could get fresh, great coffee and light snacks!
The accommodations were lovely. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Glamorously fun in the Houston museum district! Beautiful hotel and rooms!
Good location
Filthy, old and rundown
Staff and valet were very nice
Lovely hotel!
Luxury at it’s finest
It was a good break after the heat brought by Hurricane Beryl
The staff and everything else was great.
It was amazing, we were delayed a couple of hours for access to our room but they made up for it by credits at dinner.
Very upscale hotel.
Couldn't have been any better
This hotel manages to be crazy stylish and wonderfully comfortable at the same time. Great location between the three biggest museums, the sculpture garden, and Hermann Park. Every staff member was outstanding.
Dark and small. Exceptionally overpriced.
It was nice.
When I first came to the room, the whole desk that was along a big window was covered with water. There were several spots on the carpet saturated with water as well. Called the front desk and explained the whole situation and offered to transfer me to the other available room. The new room smelled moldy and the customer representative suggested that it might be from the AC. I told him that I rather be in my old room so we have moved back. The housekeeper wiped the desk and replaced the catalogs that were sutured with water. After a shower, I have walked to the desk and the carpet around desk was socked wet. Ive tried to place the bath towels so my feet wouldn’t get wet but I’ve noticed that the carped was progressively getting more saturated with water. I called the front desk and they have moved me to the stinky room. Since it was 10 pm, I was tired and needed to sleep so i gave up. I have turned the fan off so the smelly air wasn’t circulating. It was kinda stressful experience. No one call me from the office/front desk to follow up.
Overpriced. Basic rooms could’ve went somewhere else for the same experience. The spa was decent but still overpriced and there was a huge dead roach in the spa bathroom.
Beautiful place , customer service was great and hotel ambient is nice . I would recommend everyone to stay at Zaza Hotel.
Front desk checkin horrible!
Checkin was horrible and humiliating. Daisy at the front desk needs customer service training. She is very unprofessional!! It was the worst checkin experience I have ever had.
Hotel Zaza is very beautiful. Everything you want they have it. Room is cozy and nice. Bathroom is clean with good shower. Pool area we love so good with bar and food. Lobby is artisticticly beautiful with excellent design. Thank you for having good time in this hotel
Hotel was just ok. Especially for the money I expected more. The hotel needs some renovating. Rooms are dated, pool area had tarps up to cover up a stairway. Umbrellas were coming apart. Overall service was decent except in the pool area. Bartenders were very slow. Again, it was just ok. I think there are much better options in the area for the money.
Staff was very professional and helpful always with a smile Food at the restaurant was okay, could be better drinking at the bar were good 👍
