Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, safe and quiet. Central location. Rooms were limited in storage options compared to other rooms if a similar size.
Very nice

Conveniently located near the train stations and marts. Amenities are well provided and staff greet you upon arrival.
Staff were very helpful as they helped us with forwarding our luggage to our next hotel. Will stay there again.
Relatively convenient for price
Convenient location not too far from metro station, with convenience stores & some small neighbourhood restaurants nearby. The rooms are small & the tv lacks channels, as per most Japanese budget hotels. The check-in staff were friendly & efficient with reasonable English level. Housekeeping was available, but if you wanted more than just your towels changed (e.g vacuuming), then you needed to inform them by early morning each day. Level of housekeeping received also depended on who worked your room, as it was variable.
I only stayed one night at Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Hatchobori but have no complaints. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was fine. Self-service amenities were available for pick up after checking in, as is the standard now.
The room was very clean and all amenities were present. The staff was also very helpful. She helped us keep the baggage before our check in, and even helped us fill out the takubin to ship our baggage to the next hotel. Just take note that japan is an earthquake prone country. On the higher floors of the hotel, you'll feel it swaying as anti-earthquake design
The staff at Hotel Villa Fontaine were helpful, welcoming and efficient. The location is convenient, the room and bathroom very clean, and neighbourhood quiet. Unfortunately the bed and pillow were very uncomfortable, and the room size small (difficult to manage carry-on luggage size).
Friendly staff
Really good
Location
Location was great for trainstations. The building is very clean and the staff is professional. A good value for staying in Tokyo.
Nice clean property great availability of amenities but no smoking rooms despite what trip adviser says
Good option close to JR Tokyo station
Modern hotel at a good location close to the metro and rail stations. Usual japanese room size, rather small.
Enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very welcoming, and quality of the room and facilities were good.
I just wanted to find an inexpensive place near to where I put up my son and his friends. In this respect, perfect. Located near subway stations, and Tokyo Station, and on a quiet street.
The only thing that lets this hotel down was the breakfast on offer.i stayed here 4 years ago and the breakfast was Very good so it was a disappointment what they offered
Jh
The location is perfect and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were smaller by NA standards, but that was to be expected. Bed is hard and has the bean pillows. If you're spending most of your time out and about and want a central place to transit from this is a great hotel!
We stayed here for 9 nights and we had a great stay. Staff went on and beyond when I needed an adapter for my laptop, super friendly and attentive. Location is super convenient, near subway stations and walking distance from Tokyo station. Room is small but convenient and comfortable. Loved the shampoo, conditioner and body soap! It has everything you need from toothbrush to razors. Great value for the price. Definitely recommend it and would stay here again
Very friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, close to transportation and it’s located in a lovely quiet neighborhood with several dining and convenience store options. Will definitely stay here again whenever I travel to Tokyo!
i like how chill the area is, and the staff is really nice
Great hotel in good location with amazing staff.
Staff we attentive and helpful. Convenient location walking distance to several stations.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights it was conveniently located near Kayabacho station and Tokyo station. You will be greeted every time you go in and out and staff were outstanding. Great for English speakers as they're also fluent in English. Breakfast was good - latte maker was my favorite. They have two laundry machines so be there early. All in all, I recommend this hotel!
The hotel location is very near to the tokyo station. The room is small but got a comfortable bed and enough storage space.
Pleasant staff and help us with the taxi.
One of the more comfortable bed I’ve slept in! Very convenient location, about 15 mins walk to Tokyo station, and about 3 to 4 minutes to either Hatchobori or Kayabacho station.
Value for money, near several train options
Lovely hotel in a central but quiet area of Tokyo. Very polite and helpful staff. This is the second time we have stayed and we would highly recommend this hotel.
Average hotel, small rooms but good transport link
The room was very small, noisy ceiling fan and bed was very hard with poor quality pillows. It’s close to transport links and in a good location but didn’t sleep for 3 days. Hotel was looking scruffy and bathroom had a funny smell. Wouldn’t stay again. It was the worst of the hotels we stayed in during our tour of Japan.
Transportation excellence, easy access to many places
Close to subway station. Excellent restaurants right across the street.
Family Mart just down the road, compact room as expected and normal in Japan, but still very usable. Staff were friendly and helpful, even when checking in at 2am. Good quality amenities available to the room and nice and clean!
Staff are very helpful
Nice size rooms. Large bath tub. A real closet to hang you clothing. Excellent buffet breakfast. Excellent bar. Very helpful Staff. Next to Kyoto Station.
👍
The place is clean and surrounded with restos.Convenient to station.
Room was very small. Beds and pillow very hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was excellent. Front desk check in was very efficient. Location was very good and convenient to public transportation
Nice little hotel. Very cosy as the rooms are a little small, maybe that's to be expected in Japan
Rooms very small, no room for more than one case, second case on floor tucked in corner, no draws or wardrobe
close to all facilities, close to station, restaurant and subway
Great staff--easy check-in--clean rooms . . .
Great staff--easy check-in--clean rooms--good breakfast buffet. Nice hotel, but the rooms are due for updating ( looking a bit worn ). I liked the layout of the hotel--rooms are on three sides of a square with the centre open to the elements. The location is a bit of a walk from Tokyo Station--10-12 minutes (without luggage)--with heavy bags, best take a taxi from the Station. Lots of restaurants to choose from in the area.
Great hotel
Amazing hotel, great location. With no doubt I'll return to that hotel next time I'm in Tokyo. A delight.
Pretty close to Tokyo train station. Nice room for the price.
Just close from subway station Not flexible area in room Thanks
Late November 2019
Nice location with very helpful staff who spoke reasonably good English. Room was clean but quite small. Bathroom was good size. Beds and pillows were a bit hard. 24, 48, or 72-hour Tokyo Subway cards available at front desk. This was very helpful as the hotel is very close to the Hatchobori station.
absolutely clean ans quite, and friendly staff helping with all their best, really good exp.
Nice quiet environment. Very good, friendly service.
It was a good hotel. There was a better one I stayed at during my stay in Japan, but I still enjoyed this one. The breakfast that was offered was a buffet like thing, and you basically had to hurry to get to it before things ran out, and not many options for food. The bed was super uncomfortable though. It was really hard and my husband and I both disliked sleeping on it and tried to use towels and clothes we had to try to soften it up, but to no avail.
Help beyond expectation
Hotel staff was extremely helpful. I broke my luggage on arrival and asked for tools and tapes for a temporary fix. The typhoon forced my cruise to postpone for two days. Managed to extend two more nights in the same room. And unexpectedly, cruise company wrongly sent an e-mail saying that I missed the ship and had to catch the ship in the next port. Frantically called all phone numbers provided by the cruise company, but all answer recordings were in Japanese. Had to ask the reception staff to listen and translate. Finally, they decided to call the port for us and confirmed that it was a mistake by the cruise company. Without their help, my wife and I would not be able to sleep. Can't thank them enough!
Love the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately the hotel is not too near from Tokyo Station. Walking takes about 10-12mins. The nearest station is Kayabacho. Really great to have coin operated laundry.
Stayed 1 night as it was near my workplace. Scaffolding on the outer walls of the building and my wonky wifi made it more difficult to find the hotel which is really just a under 5 mins walk from both Kayabacho and Hatchobori stations but took more way longer to locate it. Very clean room, polite and helpful staff who speaks simple English and decent breakfast.
Nice Staff service
It was just a stay for two days, but it was really cool, I really liked the breakfast, nice service by the staff.
Comfy in kayabacho
Staff at the front desk are very polite and helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable. No English channels on TV....
Good hotel
Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is convenient, easy access to all locations.
Staff were friendly, which made up for the small room.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and adequate. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is my 2nd time staying with them. Breakfast is tasty andwell prepared. Hotel is close to 2 stations, Kayabacho and Hatchobori. The hotel is also within 20mins walk to Tokyo Station. I will stay here again the next time I come tokyo.
Great hotel with friendly staff
Its my second time staying at this hotel. Staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable even though they are small (its small in most hotels in Tokyo). Bfast is great, rooms are clean and trains stations are about 5mins walk.
The property was neat, clean and a 10-15 minute walk to tokyo station. But Checking-in, the receptionist left a sour note to our stay. I would be warned if it happens to you. Here is what happened. Our flight arrived early, around 7 am.We took our time to get to the hote, and by the time we got there, it was around 9 am. Expecting to leave luggage at reception. No problem. The gentlemen who took our luggage said we can be back for around 2-3 pm. We got back around 2:15pm, thinking most likely a room will be ready. The lady at the reception desk, said a room was not ready, but if you want to check-in early, there's a fee. What? Room was Not Ready, but for a FEE it could be? So your saying that you can make a room Become Available if I showed you some money? To add to it, I was with my 4 year old, who she clearly sees is sleeping in her stroller. I said There's a Fee to checkin 40 minute earlier? She looked at me without any expression, and said, do you want me to Calculate for you how much? I said no thank you, I will wait right there, sitting in the lobby. She walked away into the back office. 5 minutes later or so, it's now 2:30, a couple walks in, another staff comes out, and to my surprise, checks in, gives them the keys. 2:40 Another couple with 1 kid, checkin no problem. I walk up and ask the guy. How come they can check in, I can't? He Said confusion. checkin now. I tried to get her name, but she was avoiding me. check in May 1st 2:15. Lady tried to make $
Great stay and wonderful staff!
Exceptional service! Clean room and super quiet. Easy access to subway to get anywhere in Tokyo. Nice touches in a small but comfortable room.
I like the place ,so convenient .
Great location, professional staff and service.
Great accommodations, professional staff and service. Convenient location to get around for our stay here in Tokyo. I truly enjoyed the cleanliness and quiet rooms. Highly recommend.
The front desk service was so impersonable. The toiletries have to be picked up ourselves at the front desk.
The room was extremely tight and it was difficult to get the room cooled, but the service was great and the proximity to Tokyo station was awesome!
Breakfast is not worthy. Overall is fine. Lovely furnished hotel.
Great hotel. Spacious room
Good location, close to Tokyo station, many restaurants nearby.
The check-in and check-out process was so easy and efficient. The staff was extremely helpful dealing with our luggage and shopping bags.
The room did not have any closet to put clothes in, and was quite small. But overall it was clean and nice. The bed was comfortable enough, and it even had an integrated alarm system. Unfortunately the breakfast was a letdown, especially in relation to the price. The staff was courteous, but not very friendly.
Accessible location connecting to Metro and JR stations within 5-10 mins walk. Free shuttle bus going to Tokyo JR station in the morning. Simple breakfast including egg, ham/bacon/ sausage, bread, salad, cereal, rice, soup and coffee/ tea. Nice and responsive staff. Self-laundry service available. Local restaurants and convenience shops nearby. Affordable price. It was a very nice stay overall.
Hotel is about a 15 min walk from the tokyo station. Rooms are small and to check in/check out is by a computer at reception. Even though there is staff at the counter.
Deluxe double room the perfect size. Firm mattress, one firm and one soft pillow. Noise levels good. Bathroom size good. Worth that bit extra for more comfort.
I asked for the shuttle bus and they told me wait. I waited about 20 minutes and the bus came but they didn’t pick us up. I told front desk about that and they were keep saying sorry but didn’t do anything about that. One of the worst experiences.
The place is near Kayabacho station excellent spot as home base to go around tokyo.
Conveniently located, near 2 metro stations and a 15 mins walk to Tokyo station and Ginza. Clean hotel. Beds and pillow are hard though.
Nice 3 star hotel
Nice and clean hotel. Very good for the price. Breakfast area small but decent breakfast. Very close to subway station once you get your orientions. Can walk there from Tokyo shuttle bus station at Tokyo station, takes 15 minutes. Be sure to use your Google map for guidance.
This hotel is located little far from Tokyo Station that provides truly lots of shopping and dinning options. However, Tokyo Metro stations are only a few minutes walk from the hotel. Once you get used to the Tokyo Metro lines, you would be appreciated for the convenience. The surrounding areas also provide lots of restaurants and convenience stores. The room is very clean. The bathroom is the best in their facility. The deep bathtub and free bath salt make you want to take bath that loosens your tight muscles after a long day of walk. The safe is big so that you can store your laptop. Only one major problem is a small room. Otherwise, you would enjoy the stay.
Great location, friendly staff, reasonable room size compare to average double bed room
Small and dated hotel but was good.
Not enough seats during breakfast hour. Overall the hotel is great for brief stays as it quite near to the train service station, shops and there are many eateries in the vicinity.
Clean and well locate - Worth the price
The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance of JR Station and Subway. Clean, comfortable, decent room size for Japan, and with a good but limited breakfast. Is a good place if your looking for a room where to rest after going around Tokyo, but do not expect luxury or amazing amenities.
Hotel staff were very staff. And easy to Tokyo. Free shuttle bus to TCAT then head to Airport.
A very enjoyable stay. Neat, clean, staff was very nice and helpful.
Very good stay
it was ok
Room a little small but nice and clean. Breakfast is excellent, healthy and rich variety, 15 minutes walk to Tokyo station. Very convenient,
All fine. Room cleanliness ans facilities ok. Love the staffs attitude.
Rooms and beds are too small for a normal person. But the location is good.
Convenient hotel for a Tokyo trip!
Overall a good hotel to stay. The breakfast, the wifi and the location where the best of this hotel. It is kind of in the financial district but there are plenty of good options to eat around the corner and the metro is also very close. The room is small, but all rooms are small in Tokyo I guess. It wasn't possible to check in one minute before 3 pm which was kind of annoying since we arrived around 11 am at the hotel after a long flight. But overall we would stay here again when in Tokyo.
Nice boutique hotel
The room size is considered big for budget hotel and staff were generally helpful, could speak English well. Hotel is about 20 minutes walk from hotel but 5 min by taxi from TCAT hence if you are taking airport limousine it is quite convenient. There are many restaurants( a block away there are 2 24 hour restaurants) and cafes around the hotel.
Location ok
Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices restricted but it is free. the hotel was clean and tidy the rooms are adequate
Basic hotel, bed hard, one pillow per person however we requested extra pillows & they were provided immediately. Kettle & mugs but you will have to bring your own coffee, tea, milk & sugar. No wardrobe, however there is a contraption on the wall on which you can hang a few items of clothing. Basic bathroom with shower over bath, some mound on tiles, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner in plastic bottles. 15 minutes walk from station hence quite central with plenty of restaurants & cafes nearby. 5 mins walk to tube station. Staff friendly & there is a courtesy bus (free of charge) to both the H line tube & also main JR station which runs during the morning; bus schedule available at reception. Breakfast option available which consists of scrambled egg, salads, soup, pastries, toast-when toaster is working, bacon or pork rissoles, tea, coffee & orange juice, plenty to keep you going til lunch. Overall if you are on a budget & simply need a place to rest your head this hotel will suffice.
Short Tokyo stay, post cruise.
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a cruise before flying home. The room was clean and well equipped but small by western standards. It had a fridge and a hot pot. Only Japanese language programs on TV, but we weren't there to watch TV. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit hard. The WIFI was excellent. The breakfast was good with a decent variety. The area was clean and appeared safe. The hotel is a little out of the way but close to metro stations. The hotel offers a free morning shuttle to TCAT and Tokyo station. There were a few restaurants around the hotel but we did not try them. Tokyo hotel prices are high and this hotel was reasonably priced for what it offers.
The room was big compared to other similar-level hotels, the location was really good, the shuttle bus was also nice.
The room had everything we needed, the staff was nice and they have a shuttle bus that takes you to different metro station as well as the TCAT for the airport limousine. The shuttle is free and you can buy the TCAT ticket directly at the hotel reception. They also provide pyjamas which was a nice surprise
Close to station, friendly staff, excellent security as need room keycard to operate lift beyond reception, complimentary coffee & a face mask on arrival, bottled water in room, large tv screen, safe, modern bathroom with separate wet room, complimentary Large sized shower gel, shampoo & conditioner plus should you choose no room service on any day you receive a complimentary warming eye mask - nice touch.
Hotel hard to find in the dark.
Hotel hard to find in the dark. Man at reception not very helpful just kept pointing to the machine for self check-in , which I had never experienced before , so when tired arriving after long flight struggling to find hotel in the dark not a good welcoming experience. Rest of the hotel stay was good, breakfast in the morning good, location once you found it down alley way was excellent for access Tokyo central station and subways. Trains and subways when mastered the warrens of the stations was fast and relatively cheap. All day subway pass for 600 yen was terrific for getting around Tokyo. Hotel location was also great if you wanted to catch train to Disneyland. Hotel about 800 m from Tokyo central. Lots of eating places around close by. From Tokyo central station(took Narita express 53 minutes from airport when first arrived), take Yaesu central exit walk down Yaesu rd for about 800m turn left down alley just past Soft Bank sign. Nihombashi river cruise 45/60 minute cruise interesting ,cruising under all the expressways, less then 1km away from hotel , next to the Nihombushi bridge worth doing. Easy to find things to do for our short stay in Tokyo. Going to Yokohoma for our cruise was about 40 minute train and subway ride away and 10 minute walk from subway station to pier. Enjoy Tokyo.

The hotel was very good. But room was small. Overall we loved. We are coming from a week trip, then we are staying again.
