Excellent staff, facilities and restaurant, and my wife enjoyed her massage. There was quite a lot of noise from adjoining rooms on occasion but perhaps we just had noisy neighbours!

The friendliness of the service at this hotel was outstanding. They were helpful, the hotel was clean, the restaurant and the bar on the premises were a hit. The pool, the ambience, the location, pretty much everything exceeded our expectations. I would recognize every single one at the hotel I came in touch with. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Manaus. Great location as well.

Excellent property located near key attractions. Facility was superb with on site pool, restaurant and bar. All staff had superior customer service skills.

Excellent little boutique hotel in Manaus. Very charming. Staff and service was excellent. Very close to Opera House and Palace....some nice little shops and restaurants.

This is the best hotel in the City of Manaus. The professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of common areas as well as room, the awesome breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant Fitz were some of the highlights. The hotel is very attractive and appropriately ‘Amazonic’ but with a modernist influence. The pool is beautiful as well as the lush gardens around it. Villa Amazônia is located downtown and steps away from the Amazonas Theater… a great place to be.

Perfect boutique hotel for a stay in Manaus

Fantastic hotel! Great location close to trips to the Amazon rainforest. Peaceful, amazing restaurant and bar, convenient gym and had a wonderful massage at the hotel itself. Last but least every single staff member is friendly, helpful and accomodating. They provided great guide suggestions and directed us to a very nive shopping centre within 15 minutes drive away.

Beautiful property with lovely protected pool area. The restaurant in the building was very good. Very close to the opera house which is not to be missed. Helpful staff.

Had high expectations but problems during reservation should have giving me enough red flags. Hotel can easily had been a much better experience but it seems that I had the bad luck of not having smooth reservation experience, arrival check-in miscommunication, dirty toilet in common area and some hairs in bathroom (we noticed too late). We decided against having diner here needing a change of scenery. Good thing we did as breakfast was disappointing. All in all I thing some easy fix and could be better (hence average 3 star rating) but should I ever be back in Manaus I had way better experience in another hotel nearby so would not easily choose again.

Great Place to Stay

The staff were very friendly and many spoke English which was a great help to us. They went out of their way to provide what we wanted. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. The food was very good and the breakfast was so different and enjoyable. We would highly recommend hotel this to anyone.

Great hotel

Thiis my third stay at this hotel and I continued pleasantly surprised on this last trip. It is an honest and consistent place to stay.

There is no other...

At check-in I got the impression the staff at Villa Amazona had an over confident attitude. It was, at first, annoying. But later one I realised the reasons why. Their confidence over exudes from an overall excellent product. In every department of hospitality Villa Amazona stood out among the best.

Hotel was very accommodating with late arrivals (3 AM). Any service requested was provided. A very relaxing atmosphere.

Very nice hotel in city center. Good restaurants close by and in hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and creative. Room very comfortable. Safe place in a city with some crime issues. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

No Parking. You have to park on the street and will get parking tickets ( foreigners tey get parking app and doesn’t work). Hotel is beautiful and good service minus the parking problem.

Incredible hotel. Beautiful design and incredibly comfortable. The restaurant is amazing.

Nice property. Very attractive inside. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. One large bottle of water furnished. Good bath products and a robe. Breakfast was very good. Tasty and good variety. Waiter spoke some English and was very pleasant. Front desk supplied a plug adapter upon request as ours did not work in the socket configuration. Dining room closed at 3 so had to eat dinner in the bar. Limited seating but food was good. Limited wine and beer selection by the glass. Bottles available for purchase. No kettle in the room. Everything has a charge even the pods to make coffee. The only coffee available in the room is expresso with small cups. Not sure if there is room service. Several families checking in so this hotel seems ti accommodate them okay

Hotel com uma arquitetura incrível, bom atendimento e ambiente agradável. O quarto é muito confortável, itens de banheiro perfeitos e super espaçoso. A piscina é linda, porém a água fria, creio por não pegar muito sol nela, fica mais geladinha a água. Restaurante bom e pratos super bem servidos. Só mudaria o atendimento no café da manhã, achei um pouco ruim, pois precisamos repetir os itens e ainda assim faltava algumas coisas. Se tivesse um papel onde pudesse escolher os itens da 2º folha, seria mais eficaz o pedido.

Oasis in Manaus

Excellent hotel located a stones throw from the opera house. Small and quaint. Nice rooms that look down on the pool. The restaurant was top notch with plenty of vegan and vegetarian items. We ate here most of the time. The entire menu was available 24hrs.

Loved everything about this hotel. Location great, decoration great, service great, food very good, pool very nice. Certainly will come back whenever in Manaus again.

Excelente hotel. Tudo muito limpo e organizado e o pessoal muito atencioso e educado. Um local bem especial no centro de Manaus. Muito confortável. Apenas há a necessidade de reavaliar o sistema de café da manhã servido nas mesas. Para esse tipo de serviço há a necessidade de pessoal muito experiente, o que às vezes, não é fácil encontrar.

An exquisite boutique hotel with a fabulous staff! The service and English skills here was impressive. Raphael at the front desk went above and beyond assisting us with arranging COVID tests for our return flight, bar/restaurant attendants offered superior service and housekeeping was excellent. A first class hotel with first class service. We will definitely be returning here!

A beautiful, comfortable hotel in the middle of Manaus! A true gem! I felt that I was at home in my own colonial mansion! Excellent breakfast & dinner!

Great hotel!

Amazing hotel! The staff is friendly, great location, amenities are top notch. We stayed here one night before going to their sister property, Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge, and neither disappointed. The area has a lot of bars and restaurants if you don’t want the hotels bistro.

Only stayed overnight on the way to the jungle. Clean but very simple. Dark. Appears to be in a very unflattering neighborhood. Recommended by travel agent as best place though in this town

Great place to stay in Manaus

A really enjoyable place to stay in Manaus. Very comfortable, good staff, good food, nice pool, reasonably priced - a converted and modernised old colonial house just a few hundred metres from the Opera House. We loved it!

One night stay before going on amazon cruise

Quiet, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast spread including eggs, fruits, jams, cheeses, a good collection of breads, juices and coffee/tea. The restaurant in the hotel is decent, loved the soups, salads and appetizers but the shrimp pasta was perhaps not very fresh that day. At least the restaurant offers a good alternative to stepping out at night to find food.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. Menu is great for vegetarian/vegan as well.

No tea and coffee, no welcome drink. Staff not knowledgable and not friendly. The ambience of the hotel appeared dull. Disappointed when sister hotel Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is exceptional and could not fault any aspect of it.

Best place to stay in Manaus

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villas Amazonia. We arrived very late at night -- after 1am -- but the person at Reception welcomed us warmly. We had a good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast in the morning. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful, as were all the Reception staff during the two days we stayed here. The hotel is in a good location for seeing the old downtown part of the city -- just a few minutes' walk from the famous opera house, the lovely Saô Sebastiaô Square, and from shops and restaurants. Reception staff gave us good advice about places to shop and find good coffee. We spent two nights at the hotel and then left to go on an Amazon cruise. The staff very nicely allowed us to come back to the hotel after the cruise, and leave our luggage in a secure place before our nighttime flight out of Manaus. We couldn't be happier with the facilities, location, and staff at this hotel.

Beautiful affordable hotel. The pool is picture worthy, good basic gym and satisfying food at the restaurant. Only complaint is no hot water in our room so had to take cold showers

Great hotel, service and food but neighborhood dog noise is a real drawback. It appears that the hotel is unable to cause the dog owners to control their pets! Otherwise this hotel would be absolutely great!

Style , location & staff were all wonderful, located a short walk to Teatro Amazonia & 2 excellent restaurants plus a local pub with 2 excellent musicians & plenty of local characters to keep one entertained.

We only had one night before heading off to the Amazon but this was a real find. It's well located with good facilities. Check in was friendly and helpful. We also had dinner here and it was excellent. The room was comfortable, spacious and well appointed with a pod coffee maker. There was a small balcony overlooking the garden and their small pool. There is even a small but pretty well equipped gym. Highly recommended

Chic and beautiful

We stayed here for three nights. The hotel itself is really lovely. The entrance and front part of the hotel is the original beautiful old house and the rooms at the back have been added in a very sympathetic way with a lovely swimming pool. The staff were all exceptionally charming and helpful and the breakfast was memorable.

Lovely Manaus Hotel

This hotel is a total gem. Refurbished building with modern, simple and elegant finishes. It is straight out of an interior design magazine. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay there again!

Amazing Quality

This hotel is a renovated family compound one block from the Opera House. This home must have been city living for the wealthy. Now it is completely modernized with several stories next to a courtyard pool. Our stay here was only one night before an Amazon Cruise, but they allowed us to spend an afternoon here on our return, to relax, store our luggage, and use their WiFi. ALL of the employees were so nice and accommodating, letting us borrow an adapter to charge my phone, and helping us print boarding passes when the airlines said no online passes accepted. This is not an inexpensive hotel choice by Manaus standards but well worth every penny for location, hospitality, and breakfast included!

One of the prettiest hotels in the world

This hotel had everything I wanted in a boutique hotel. Friendly staff, gorgeous decor, tasteful furnishings and comfort. We stayed here for two nights after a hectic week of work in Sao Paulo and before embarking on an Amazon adventure. It was an oasis with every need met. From the moment you enter this hotel you can sense the attention to detail and it continues all the way throughout your experience. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom with nice beauty products, a generous breakfast buffet in the prettiest of dining rooms and VERY strong bar drinks. ;) This hotel belongs in a design magazine it's so pretty and I've come back to my Toronto loft trying to think how best to redecorate to mimic the low-key, tasteful, classy Hotel Villa Amazonia. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. GO.

Grand Amazon Experience in VILLA AMAZONIA hotel

We stayed in VILLA AMAZONIA hotel a few days ago and absolutely loved it. Great location in the historic center, close to everything of interest to tourists. Great breakfast in the morning, beautiful swimming pool in the courtyard. But most importantly - awesome customer service and very friendly staff. We went on the Amazon cruise after staying in this hotel and now we are back for more. Will recommend Villa Amazonia to everyone who intends to visit Manaus in Brazil!

Charming hotel with genuinely superior standards

The 'boutique' hotel is over-used but the Amazonia justifies it, and stands out in Manaus. It's in the centre, so nowhere near the river, but excellently placed for seeing the city, and almost opposite the Opera. Staff were charming and helpful, facilities are modern and high-standard. Very charmingly they recommended the Caxiri restaurant just down the street, but the hotel's own restaurant is just as good, with great modern Brazilian food using local specialities. Superb caipirinhas at the bar too!

Very nice Boutique Hotel around the block from the famous Opera House and main square. Everything at this hotel is very nice, Beautiful and gracious young lady takes care of the front desk making the hotel even more pleasant!

Great boutique hotrl

We stayed for 2 nights prior to our Amazon Cruise. The staff at the hotel is wonderful. They were very helpful with everything in the area. Concerned for us, they noticed we went the wrong direction when walking out and came to get us straightened out. Fantastic breakfast included. They even called to make sure we didn't miss breakfast on our last morning. The rooms are superior by any standards. Great appointments and comfortable beds. The area is perfect and we felt very comfortable walking around.

Comfortable, clean, delicious breakfast, happy hour (drinks and appetizers) and dinner. We enjoyed the friendly staff who all spoke good English. Quiet location and room. Close to a lot of things including the opera house.

Lugar lindo mas pecou na empatia

Comida deliciosa e lugar LINDO ! Só acho que faltou um pouco de empatia por parte das funcionárias da recepção , pois eu tava hospedada no hotel para fazer as fotos da gravidez e pedi para sair às 13:00 ao invés de 12:00 pq estava no meio das fotos . Elas só me concederam 20 min , sendo que o check in só acontece às 15:00. Ou seja , daria tempo para limpar o quarto para o próximo hóspede ! A gente divulga o local , escolhe o mesmo para um momento tão especial , o que custava ? Fora isso , villa Amazônia é um refúgio de tranquilidade no meio da cidade

Seria uma ótima opção em Manaus, mas em razão da pouca flexibilidade e baixa empatia dos funcionários - até uma certa descortesia, na verdade - resulta numa experiência a não ser repetir. Café da manhã demorado… a cozinha “esqueceu” de preparar minhas opções…
