A nice hotel that I would definitely stay at again. Breakfast was included and excellent. Grounds were clean and attractive, outdooor pool has fabulous views but did get busy. Our room had a double bed and two bunks beds in another room. Plenty of European plugs to charge things up. Lovely outdoor sitting area. A/c was fixed at 24 deg C however so opening the patio doors at night (which have a screen you can wheel closed) was required for nighttime comfort. Shower was small by North American standards - I could only just fit my elbows outstretched against bunched fists all around without hitting the sides but it was pretty snug. There was a tv but we didn’t use it, decent cell service and good WiFi in the room.
On the positive side the location, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is spectactular with the sea, the mountain, and remarquable villas on the peninsula. The Hotel/Resort has some cool 60's brutalist architecture and nice sunset views from the terrace. That said, given the potential of profiting from and updating these resources the current management has not updated their vision. The buildings, despite cosmetic renovations in the rooms, need significant restoraton. Our suite had ants crawling all over it. The shower smelled of odor coming from the toilet. The breakfast room was sweltering and the food somewhat mediocre. We were supposed to have full room and board and could not add lunch and dinner after our arrival according to the staff. This was a blessing in disguise as the one dinner we had turned out to be more like cantine food than a restaurant. The staff could be rather rude at times. To sum up, with a little vision and money this could be a fantastic place. A sort of retro/hipster oasis like so many renovated hotels in Austin and New York. For the moment though it is just poorly managed and maintained.
Amazing location let down by elements
Hotel is in a stunning and brilliant location, close to everything. Grounds are spacious and green, rooms inside are comfortable and clean. Very 70's style. Views of sea and surroundings are incredible. However is dated, shabby in public areas in particular and old fashioned. Like an old training centre, not maintained well. Breakfast is below standard and no air conditioning in breakfast room = v hot and not comfortable. Restaurant lunch was nice, but pricey and pool bar is limited. Pool nice and was lovely temperature, although not enough sunbeds or shade. Overall is good due to location, grounds and views - needs investment and work to make worthy of location. Not luxury. Also service very patchy, not high service standards, eg breakfast staff look unbothered and fed up. No smiles or warm service, doing minimum. This could be an amazing place with tidy up and staff investment.
Beautiful
Great location. Comfortable and clean.
Great location. Average accommodations
Great location. Room ok! Air conditioning not great Breakfast ok. Not a great choice of fresh fruit or vegetables Staff very helpful
Very unhygienic, with stains in the bathroom, a dead bug squished on the wall, furniture damaged and dirty, dirty towels, hairs on the bed sheets and hairs from previous customer on the floor. We had to pay to use a beach towel. Breakfast was below average and you can’t sit and eat in peace outside due to the pigeons who will swoop down and eat your breakfast if you move away from your table for 30 seconds. You cannot eat inside as there is no air conditioning. The receptionist didn’t seem too bothered about giving the customer a good experience. When I complained about the room I was told someone would clean the room, but we returned with the dead bug still on the wall and dirt all over the floors. I wouldn’t suggest anyone stay here. The hotel survives through the view and proximity to beach and that’s it. A good renovation is in need to bring this hotel up to the calibre that surrounds it.
Very relaxing stay in the south of France
The place is very run down. The accommodation was like a dormitory
Very simple hotel with very nice location
Very bad internet
I love this hotel, everything is great.. Just small issues that need to be address.. 1) hotel room should have toothpaste For customers and also the hair dryer should be put in the bathroom, not on the table in the Lounge area with no socket to be found (the one I found is already taking by internet and TV plugged in). I cannot move the hair dryer anywhere because it is nailed to the table. Other than these issue, I am happy with everything.. 👍 I will absolutely recommend my family and friend to stay here.
This is my 6th stay and I will be back in a few months.
Great location and pool
I arrived at the property by taxi and was dropped at the front wooden barrier gate. Once you get the reception to open the sliding barrier you are confronted by an open parkway with no signs or directions to the reception. After a couple of hundred metres you are confronted with several diverse walkways again with no signs. I asked a staff member working on the grounds and he directed me (incorrectly) via the underground carpark. Not a good start in the Nice heat after an international flight.
There was no staff around to assist or help. there was no food/beverage service or towels at the pool- which is what attracted us to this hotel. the breakfast was only fair. in order to make a reservation in advance, you had to book for an entire week and we only stayed 3 nights. the best attribute for us is the location of the Hotel but i would not recommend this Hotel and i wish i could get some reimbursement for the days we were not there!
A fantastic location, good facilities & friendly staff
The rules around the pool were wrong , no flip flops could slip and pick up germs . No food or drinks aloud. Not enough snacks at bar . Bedrooms could be cleaner and showers and awful smell in rooms and ants
Just returned from this hotel. Let's start with the not so good points. The hotel could do with a lick of paint outside. The pool table needs replacing. The breakfast was good if a little basic. There is an issue with pigeons getting into the restaurant brought on mainly by guests not knowing how to shut a door, not the hotels fault. The private bay advertised was closed as it is dangerous and frankly I wouldn't have used it anyway (ugly concrete thing). None of the above would put me off though, I would recommend the place for a well priced holiday in relative comfort. That said, the staff were great, rooms were spacious and clean, the pool was lovely and immaculate. Views were by far the best in the area and quite spectacular. Use Uber to travel everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay but didn't have main meals there so cannot comment. Local restaurants are excellent and reasonably priced. A family of 4 will get a good meal with drinks for 120 Euros including a tip. Port Saint-Jean is lovely with an excellent Steak restaurant, Ice cream parlour and shops, Art galleries and some stunning boats. The hotel is right on the waters edge in the cove of Beaulieau, Beach is a 2 minute walk, 5mins into the village. 4 of us got the 603 bus into Monaco for Under 6 euros each way from the beach. Uber is about 25 Euros, train, 5 euros each. Uber from the airport is 30 to 45 Euros door to door and drivers are great. 5 star location it would not require much effort to make the hotel 4 star
A cool retro 70s commune like campus is an interesting throwback. Its very quiet and beautifully landscaped while on the water. The outdoor tables weren’t cleaned and I told staff about the broken blow drier and nothing was done about it. The hotel’s restaurant is mediocre but there are good restaurants in the area. Staff were very nice and ordered us a cab when we needed one. I’d recommend the place for retirees, young families and folks needing a rest.
Pleasant stay
Overall, as you would expect from a 3 star hotel. It’s clean but old, small bathrooms. Hotel seems to cater for older guests with activities like water aerobics etc. I would say the majority of guests are >65 years old. we were one of the few families staying there with young children. They have also drained the water from the toddler pool so they only have one pool (not 2 as pictured) and more than half of the main pool is too deep to stand. Hotel has nice views of the water and a decent breakfast with an option to pay for buffet lunch or dinner. Although it was a pleasant stay, wouldn’t stay here again as we felt out of place as a young family.
View from pool overlooking ocean is beautiful. Amanda at reception fantastic, unfortunately the manager is very unprofessional. Luckily we didn’t take the meal plan, only had the breakfast which was a huge disappointment- soggy eggs, uncooked hash browns, hospital cafeteria feel- not sure why we saw ants playing on jam dish two days in a row? If you don’t mind pigeons on your table and no one there to help you…one poor woman with mobility issues became very upset when pigeon landed on her table while she was eating - A shame the hotel doesn’t put effort into better food service - spoke to several elderly couples which have been going here for years and it was sad to hear that they were very disappointed with food- menu was same and lacked flavour. We found a few great restaurants outside the hotel. This hotel would be fantastic if management made the effort to improve food, cleanliness and their overall guest relation services which was close to non existent. Grounds seemed to be maintained at the bare minimum… not appealing at all… not enough loungers at the pool … people waiting around for loungers to free up - good luck since some reserve them with their towels the entire day! Overall this place felt like a camp ground by the ocean… the ocean view and Cap Ferrat’s gorgeous flowers and tropical feel that we mainly experience and see outside of this hotel made up for all that was lacking at the delcloy hotel -
The grounds, pool and view were amazing. Food and drink were an issue as it was difficult most of the time to get hold of any outside of breakfast. Mainly it seems because the hotel didn't fully open until 1st June, which we weren't made aware of.
An oasis of calm
Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely staff and a beautiful setting. Will definitely return.
Nice stay
Nice resort needs some updating rooms old a bit tired. Could do with a proper bar
Very nice and unique property. Reading the descriptions of rooms, we wanted to make sure we got one with a balcony. The only one listed as available was a triple. We reserved that and even sent a message asking about if there were views with the balcony units. When we got to the hotel, we were told that the triples do NOT have balconies! We tried to switch but they wouldn’t let us switch to any balcony unit. I even had the confirmation letter that said a triple, balcony unit. Other than that disappointment, the rest of the stay was fine. The staff was nice and we really appreciated that most were able to speak English. (we hadn’t dreamed we would be able to visit France so hadn’t learned French). Overall nice place and great staff!
Weekend with family
The staff was very friendly and professional, the accomodation was very clean, warm and with a lot of space for kids. Definitely recommended.
We had a pleasant stay at your hotel - beautiful location and facility
The hotel have very friendly staff. The view is exceptional. The area is walking distance to the beach, casino and transportation/bus stop. The hotel has a nice walkway along the beach.
Great place
Great facilities for family.
Great location and amenities
This hotel is in an amazing location and the pool is one of the best we have had the use of, very clean and a pleasurable experience. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable, expect something comparable to Travelodge type accommodation. But all in all a great holiday. We will definitely be returning.
The property itself it extremely tired and run down. The bedroom was ok though.
Comfortable room, beautiful gardens, superb views, and professional service. The location itself is an attraction, lovely walks around, a quiet little town nearby, nice beaches and nice city a short train ride away. Merci!
This was the single worse place I have ever stayed at. I literally couldn’t breathe all night. My daughter was convinced it was because of the smell of cat urine. I think it was the mold and cigarette smoke. We arrived in Cap Ferret later than anticipated otherwise we would have just paid for a room elsewhere. The toilet closet had visible black mold.
Astoundingly Scenic Setting
The pool is heated for shoulder season and the views from it are stunning. Has its own cove in the Mediterranean with beach chairs and is just minutes from the sandy beach at Beaulieu-sur-Mer via a lovely pedestrian-only promenade that also stretches to St-Jean harbor and beyond -- don't miss that walk. Service was friendly but not over-the-top. Rooms were clean and well kept. Petanque pit available but I never tried it, nor the restaurant.
An okay hotel with beautiful views
It was a nice place for families and grounds were beautiful, however the people behind the front desk we're not helpful at all. They tried to make my mom pay extra for dinners we already paid for, same as trying to add extra charges to our room. There was no kettle or fridge in the room, usually all hotels have that available in case guests would like to utilize those items. Our room had none of those amenities.
The location of this hotel is fantastic with beautiful views and lovely walks around. Easy access to local towns and great places to eat. The hotel itself is in need of some refurbishment. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the finish is not great quality and the grounds could be really beautiful with a bit of time and effort put into them. The pool area was nice but the private beach area needs some upkeep. Friendly staff throughout the stay. If you are looking for somewhere relatively cheap as a base then this hotel is ideally situated but if you are looking for elegance and luxury then this isn’t the place for you.
Nice area but rooms need maintenance and update No refrigerator no coffe machine I have to ask the stuff to spray the room
Great location!
Beautiful location, amazing pool, helpful staff, gardens looking better every day. A new paint and freshen up would be good, but comfort of the rooms were amazing. Breakfast was pretty average and didn’t try dinner.
Room smelt musty, toilet room was so small (barley fit), pool area is small for the amount of people staying there. Disappointed for the cost. Wouldn't stay there again. Pictures look better than it actually is.
I went on a girls holiday and I just thought the pictures online were nothing like the real thing. When we arrived it just wasn’t a ‘wow’ factor. The hotel is very outdated and we didn’t have a fridge or kettle in our apartment which was very disappointing. They offered an electric cooler box for €30 and €50 deposit. The receptionist had t mentioned anything about swimming towels, which we found out 2 days later you have to pay €3 for a towel. Otherwise the area we were in was lovely, you do need to walk quite a distance to the closest super market. The pool area is lovely and clean and it’s got a beautiful view of the sea.
Swimming-pool area was very clean and nice. The hotel-room was was nice and clean. But it was too small and we missed a small kitchen or at least a fridge. Also disappointed about the mini-golf, several fields was broken. And the billiard missed several billiard-balls.
Beautiful Hotel in great location !
Friendly staff and amazing ocean view from the pool area
Top location, good for families
Great location
Couldn't ask for anything more.
It was a great resort for both family & couples both or for a single person as was my case
Great location....shame about the blonde!
Amazing location, clean rooms, great maid service. The breakfast buffet was awful! The “fresh fruit” was rotted, there was no milk, fruit, eggs or bacon by 9 am. When we complained we were told to pay or they would make us leave the premises. The blonde woman at front desk, when shown the rotted fruit told us to remove it...really?? There was no a/c in my brothers room, when his wife informed the blondewoman at the front desk, she told my sister in law to open a window...really?? The men working the front desk were friendly, the blonde woman should take a course on customer service. Again, excellent location....
No coffee
Coffee NO.
Great location next to ocean. Property needs to be updated. Most of the guest are retirees.
Nice stay, but skip the buffet
All good, except food. Buffet was expensive and not good. Not a good variety of food and not good quality food.
Comfortable beds. Good room size. Perfect location with views of the sea from the pool area.
Disappointed stay
The location and the view from the pool area is amazing. The team at reception was helpful and courteous. One of the ladies at reception during the afternoon shift didn't know of any good restaurants in the area to suggest for dinner. Having a list of these to recommend to your guests is a must and lends to good customer service. There were issued with breakfast both mornings with them running out of basic items like juice, scrambled egg and bacon even before the cut off time of 10am. On the last morning I was advised by the waitress that breakfast is over, 10 minutes before it is supposed to end. This is unacceptable as I am paying for the service and it is advertised that it runs till 10am. Again the juice was finished and one had to ask and it was then an issue for them to provide breakfast even though I was still in time. Being shown by the waitress from across the room the "time out" signal with her hands when asked about the empty dishes shows a lack of good customer service and more importantly the lack of care from herself and her management. The room itself was comfortable and clean. AC didn't work but it could just be me not understanding the control panel in French. Since it was cold outside it didn't really bother me. The gardens outside the rooms were unkept and heavily overgrown with weeds. This looked unappealing, especially in the beautiful setting of the hotel.
Great location, tired hotel. Needs a general update outside.
Special resort hotel
Spacious room with comfy bed , nice balcony and good wifi. Ample storage, which is quite rare. Great pool and serene views. Helpful staff and very quiet. Just a short walk along beautiful Promenade to nice town. Will stay sgain.
In the dark.
We checked in after night fall,we could not find our appt.as badly sign posted,(this was the same with other guests). When we found Appt. there was no electricity.Returned to reception where it appeared this appt. had a history of this problem. The kind receptionist then gave us another appt.and took us to it with his little torch. The room was not serviced during our 3 night stay.We received compensation.A good hotel, but needs fine tuning by management.
Happy days at the Delcloy.
We were doing an exhibition in Monaco but decided to stay outside owing to high prices in Monaco. The Blues Delcloy is near to the station convenient for Monaco or Nice. The hotel is really a group of buildings set in gardens. It all overlooks the sea - fabulous setting. Food wonderful too. Only drawback is the tiny shower. Not enough to turn round easily but that was a small price to pay for the incredibly good value and helpful staff.
Like a holiday camp for retirees
We were shocked at the poor service and the type of place this is. It was like a holiday camp for poor trade union members. Breakfast such as it is was served on trays like in a prison. We opted to escape each morning to the absolutely beautiful hotel next door & pay €40 each just to enjoy their breakfast & service. No bathroom ammenities were added or replaced during our week long stay. Not one English language channel on the TV despite a multitude of channels. Bingo & bus trips are managements idea of guest activities. I would never return & certainly would never recommend it despite its amazing location (the only positive about the hotel).
This property is in a fabulous location with tons of potential, however it needs to be sold off to new owners who are willing and able to put the beauty back into this hotel. It's location is the diamond in the a sea of run down, uncared for garden that's been neglected. The rooms have been cosmetically updated over molded walls and damaged structures that need to be torn down and repaired. We did not dare eat the food, after seeing the condition of the property, we were unwilling to risk getting sick. The staff was horrible, unattentive, and did not provide items upon our stay which they promised before our arrival (2 babycots) instead one baby cot was provide which had holes in it and presented a safety concern. This hotel is definitely not worth any amount of money, as we would not stay here again even if it were free. There are much nicer and less expensive hotels close by which we also stayed at and loved. Please don't be fooled by the nice pictures of this hotel , it is not as it appears in the pictures and you will be shocked at its non photo shopped condition .
Beautiful Setting
Overall excellent. Great views from main area. Food was excellent. Staff very helpful. Room clean and large. The minuses are that rooms were at least 50 yards from reception area. Not a problem if you are ok with walking, which we were not. Also, not a lot restaurants or activities in immediate area. If these things are not a problem, then this is an excellent place to stay.
A Misunderstanding
It was great for those with kids but without not that great. Front desk not that helpful and attitude. no telephone in room. Breakfast really poor. No WCs at pool area Great forr families not for alone couples
Location excellent but overall tired and dirty
Unfortunately the hotel did not look anything like the pictures. The breakfast was particularly bad with poor selection and hygiene issues most notably ants. The Hotel is somewhat tired and can do with replastering and painting throughout. On the plus side the location is excellent as our reviews from the pool over the bay. The beach front which had 15 also beds was this hotel saving grace. Overall I did offer the hotel offered very good value for money
My bed had bed bugs in it. The manager was apathetic. Refund given on the spot and then told hotel was full and could not locate me another room in the hotel so in the peak summer period I was thrown out onto the street because the dirty hotel can not get their bed bug problem under control of which I have photos.
Nice hotel great amenities close to the beach and very good location, Very nice staff as well.
Close to beach and nice pool.Very average facilities and drab appearance in general. Would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointing. Every inch a 3-star facility.
Ideal location but dated facilities
The property it self is quite funky. But the rooms are newly renovated.
Crease de resistance
1 iron and ironing board between 100+ rooms! Because of this I had 3 shirts I could not wear and ended up leaving them in the hotel room. I called within 5 hours of checking out and was Advised that lots of things get left and to send an accurate description, which I did. An hour later I’m told that they are not there and they would let me know if they turned up, having followed up twice with no response they have left me no choice other than to assume that they have been taken by a member of staff. It’s a shame as the facilities, although tired, felt like value for money for such an exclusive part of town and The front desk and bar staff were excellent.
All about the pool
The pool is fabulous; crystal clear, slightly warmed (which was important for late May) and la-a-arge. Views across the coastline are wonderful. Odd layout for the hotel and not in great condition. The town beach is to the east but the water isn't very clean.
Family getaway, didn’t disappoint
Lovely views and newly refurbished rooms were perfect. Nestled in between 5 start resorts, Club DelCloy does a great job as a strong 3.5 star resort. Just one suggestion, they could really push things over the edge by improving the breakfast; it was fine but very basic.
Quite
Quite Comfortable and close to beach. Did not have a food at the restaurant so no comment. It seemed it’s popular with the elderly. On the whole it was acceptable.
Budget friendly great place
A little older facilities & crowd than was expecting but great service and location for the price.
Resort with excellent location.
Myself and my fiance stayed here for about 4 days during the Formula 1 Race in Monaco. The hotel: it is in a great location (10 mins to NICE and 10 mins to Monaco by car/bus). There is a bus stop just a short walk from the entrance of the resort. The beach is approx a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Restaurants and shopping is also close by (approx 7 minute walk from hotel). Amenities/Facilities: The hotel grounds/pool are clean and maintained, although the hotel overall can use some updating. The rooms have all been recently updated and are quite comfortable and spacious. It is great for families and couples. They have several scheduled activities for children/families throughout the day. Overall, our stay was great. The hotel is in a GREAT and RELAXING location close to everything. I loved walking around the surrounding area along the water, very romantic at night. I would highly recommend staying here because the price can't be beat for what your get.
Perfect
Perfect
Expensive hotel. Double room booked for us by my daughter in law in England, the room also had bunk beds which we didn't need for £186. We arrived at 8.30 p.m. booked in and went to find the dining room. We were told by a member of staff that it was now closed but after looking at our reservation card said we were fully inclusive and we were allowed in but they were clearing everything away as we picked amongst the remnants of food. Really felt as if we were in the way. Next morning went down to self serve breakfast thinking as we were fully inclusive we would join in. Went to pay for drinks put on account the night before to find out we were not fully inclusive and had to pay full price for the bit of dinner we managed to find and the breakfast. Told the receptionist but she suddenly did not understand English. I said I would ring from England when I got back but really I couldn't be bothered with the language barrier.
I am impressed with the beauty of the place
A phenomenal place tucked in the middle of magnificent Côte d'Azur. Location is A+, pool and views from pool and restaurant simply magnificent. The breakfast was great and delicious. Especially the franch coffee. It is a gem for the price, location and views! Magnificent sunrise! The room was clean and well organized.
Very good reception lady
She was extremely helpful and supportive as we had booked the wrong night thank you.
No even air condition
It is 1-2 star hotel, not even 3. No air conditioner. The machine that expect to replace it just makes noise without making room cold during very hot summer days. Everything is incredible old. Check out is at 10.00. No feeling of security. Noise from the railway station
Very nice hotel
Great Hotel, excellent value for money and superb location. Only problem, no A/C in the room, just fans..
Hotel Delcloy on Cap Ferrat
Fantastic location overlooking Mediterranean Sea on Cap Ferrat. A basic, friendly resort with mostly elderly clientele. A great base for the French Riviera or a lazy place to while a way the days in a deck chair by the pool
Avoid breakfast!!!
No air conditioning in rooms.Fan provided useless so room was hot and airless even with patio doors left open. Breakfast was poor value, poor choices and breakfast room was run on canteen lines with unhelpful staff.
Analyze hotel services beforehand.
The Hotel in fact is a vacation club that rents the units as hotel rooms. This place has a very good view, and walking distance from St Jean Cap Ferrat and Beulieu Sur Mer. The room is not quite comfortable, A/C wasn't working, the WiFi access only works in the lobby (Which will be at least 200 mts from your room) and suffered connections interruptions every 5 minutes minimum, the bathroom is quite small, and only a tiny soap for every use (Hands, shower and toilet). Breakfast and Parking is not included. During breakfast you must serve yourself everything and must clean your table afterwards (12 Euros each).
Large Hotel near Villa & Jardins de Rothschild
Gated hotel at night with comfortable rooms with several electrical outlets.
Hidi Hi at Cap Ferrat
You get what you pay for I guess. Price, Location and amenities were great but a pity the property had not been maintained to a higher standard - our room was not air conditioned so pretty hot and uncomfortable. Shower was very small and we aren't big people so pity those with large bodies. Separate toilet was handy. For some reason the kichenette area was locked off so we had to use batchroom to get a drink of water. Had laundry facilities but again could have benefited from some general maintenance and a lick of paint. Some investment would turn this into a top place to stay.
Fantastic location - great to get away for another few days - will be back next year.
Great Location & value for money
The hotel rooms are fairly dated and could do with updating but as we spent hardly any time in the room it didn't matter to us. The hotel has great facilities for children - pool table, childrens games room, bouncy castle, play area etc. Lovely Big swimming pool and separate infant pool. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice and it has a separate bar area downstairs. Great location.
Place to stay for St.Jean - Cap Ferrat
This was not my first time at the Delcloy - Cap Ferrat and each time I find it one of the best places to stay in the area. Location is perfect, right at the sea side as well as the beginning of the walk around the Cap. The open space of the garden gives a luxury that is not easily found in the crowded areas of the Cote d'Azur. While this stay I was alone I have been there before with family and it is perfect for young children.
Nice Hotel on Cote d'Azure
This is a good price hotel for the location. The rooms are OK but, for the price and the location, it is perfect.
excellent service
The woman at front desk could not have been more helpful or nicer! She tried her best and was mostly successful.providing answers to all our questions in her limited, yet decent English! She also had a good sense of humor which is always appreciated! OVERALL, the room was fine as we're the surroundings. Many activities if you are staying more than one night. Restaurant on site which we did not take advantage. Looks like a Club Med type atmosphere during peak season. The walk along explanatory provided exceptional views. Good for kids and older couples except a lot of walking and stairs.
Good hotel close to the beach
I had a great stay. The staff was quite helpful. The location and state of the hotel was very good.
Captastic Location!
The hotel couldn't have been in a better location, right next to the beach and port at Beaulieu. The area is quiet with some lovely restaurants only 5-10min walk from the hotel. The train station Beaulieu-sur-Mer is only a 10-15min walk away, and from here you can be in Monaco or Nice in another 10 minutes. The hotel was very clean, while a little dated, and the majority of the other guests were elderly couples. As a result we had no issues with noise or disturbances during the night. We had breakfast on the hotel balcony every morning, and the views were stunning! I can't comment on the dinner menu as we dined in the local restaurants every night, but there was a great choice at breakfast time.
Keep this place in mind
really good place for families - setup for such events and group stuff for kids and sports. Amazing pool facing the ocean for families to relax by. Very well located to train, but well equipped for parking if necessary. Probably not for business travellers. but it is a facility that seemed clean, well run, and very hospitable. Capable in a couple of languages.
A number of extra charges
Hotel charges Euros 15.00 for breakfast so we never tried it. As well as Euros 15.00 for parking per night. You don't have much choice but to use it as the local parking is not so good. But beware of the underground car parks. I drive a BMW and managed to damage the front valance because the angle from road to threashold of the car park was too steep. Reception didn't seem very concerned and still charged me when the repair will probably be in three figures. So if you have a low slung auto beware !! Nice hotel but a bit boring.

Fantastic location! First visit and it was like being in a time warp, such a shame as it was in brilliant location. Totally sixties style, probably suited more mature couples (we are in our sixties) but we made the most of our short visit. Rooms could have been cleaner.
Relaxing beautiful place
The pool is lovely, and the people were great.
Don't raise your expectations, then you'll be fine
In terms of value for money in that area, I'd say it was good, in terms of value for money generally I wouldn't be so generous. The staff were civil and polite but there was an aire of 'couldn't care less'. The outside grounds and pool was superb and the gardening fabulously kept. The views over the bay was the best and takes the breath away, but the rooms were awfully basic, towels shabby, mould in shower, separate toilet constantly smelt as there was no extractor fan or air circulation. Carpet was stained, thin and old. All that said, we had a fabulous time in Cote d'Azur and we were able to park our car in the grounds or underground car park, it was central to shops, restaurants & railway. One of the main problems for me aside from the room was not having a bar open all day to get drinks/coffee/tea whilst by the pool. It closed at 2.30pm then re-opened at 5.30 but the barman was always late to work and it didn't get opened up until closer to 6pm by which time we wanted to shower, change and go out. I would stay there again because I know what to expect and what to bring with us - hairdryer & towels (which you can borrow from reception as I discovered 3 days in) but I wouldn't necessarily rate this hotel and recommend to others.
Delcloy Delivers
We stayed at Hotel Delcloy in August 2010. We have 2 young boys (5 and 3) and needed some where to stay that was affordable and functional for 2 nights before moving on. This hotel was just the ticket with great swimming pool, small private pier with watersports, kids club, playground and extensive gardens. Would go back and stay for longer. it is very close to the town beach and shops and it is good to sit back and watch the huge boats and flash cars cruise along the coast road.
Hotel Delcloy
Did not have the best check-in experience but the hotel was fine, would stay there again. You do feel like that hotel could do so much more but it was fine.
Nice but hot
We got there to discover there was an additional euro per day per person to pay on top of the money we had already payed, which was meant to include all taxes. There is no air conditioning or fans in the rooms and we were extremely hot at night. Lovely swimming pool though.
