Safe home away from home

The place is comfortable and safe and clean. The real selling point though is the staff, who were warm and kind and welcoming.

Conveniently located, comfortable and affordable. It was a good place to land for a night in the city before taking off for our adventure in Namibia.

The property was in desperate need of renovation. The staff was extremely nice. The location is great and you can tell it’s an up-and-coming area. I probably would not stay there again unless it was renovated. The pictures were deceiving.

Some rooms are nicer than others. Hard to specify twin beds or a single double bed. The tables outside were dirty,dusty and some full of bird poop. Breakfast was okay

Decent stay, good price

Overall it was an ok stay. Breakfast wasn't all that great with very little selection on the buffet, and no indication that there were any other options. Room was nice, but loud from outside noise. Hotel isn't very close to anything. There are a few restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. Everything else was an uber ride. Not much to see in Windhoek, except Joe's Beerhouse.

Wonderful and helpful staff. They couldn’t do enough for you and a great source of information. It’s a bit of a walk up hill, but only the last block. I was warned not to do it late at night. That’s not an unusual thing in Africa. Easy walk to city for shopping and eating.

This hotel was nice but what really put it over the top was the friendliness of the front desk staff who treated us like old friends. Plus the location was just a short walk or a 2 minute drive to the center of town but at night it was quiet even with our windows open.

호텔 간판이 없어서 찾아가기 약간 힘든거 빼고 모든게 좋습니다. 객실도 좋고 조식도 맛있네요. 호텔보다는 펜션분위기가 납니다.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and pleasant. The location is a little further from downtown than I would have preferred, but it is still walk-able, and as a bonus Joe's Beerhouse is not too far away!

I liked quiet, good neighbor location, 10minutes from city center by taxi. Pool too small. Bkft so, so with dried bread and no serving staff and had to ask kitchen staff to cook eggs.

When in Windhoek

Very functional with a good location, rooms can get very hot with no A/C and only fans to cool down.

Nice hotel, good location, great staff!

The receptionist was incredibly helpful and nice. Room was large and comfortable. Local area has some great small coffee shops and what not. Hotel booked airport transport for us and it arrived on time with no troubles.

Decent option near city center

Good location, great price, easy parking. The room seemed clean, but had a funny smell. The wifi frequently disconnected. A good option if you're looking for an inexpensive room in Windhoek for a night or two.

This was a great place to stay for our needs- be careful about where you park in downtown Windhoek after dark, when you are outside the hotel property/gates.

空港からの往復の車の手配の依頼もすぐ返信があり安心できた。実際にスタッフは非常にフレンドリーで楽しい時間を過ごせた。大通りからも近く、乗り合いタクシーに慣れれば大体レストランや観光ポイントにも苦労せずアクセス出来ます。四泊したので少し朝食が飽きたかな。そんなに種類は不要ですが玉子は日によっては目玉焼きとか、フルーツを替えてみるとかあれば良かったです。でもビジネスホテルよりウーランドを選んで良かったです。

Clean well-located middle-class hotel

We stayed two times one night at the Hotel Uhland - one time at the beginning and one time at the end of our self-drive camping tour of Namibia. The first time we were extremely happy - we had a big room with a fridge and a safe. The second time we stayed at the Hotel Uhland, it was still good, but we were in a different room and didn't have a safe any more in our room and the bathroom was tiny without a window. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and it was remarkable clean. So all in all we can recommend the Hotel!

Like a home

It was quiet and calm place to stay. And the employees are super kind with smile.

Ok stay, but showers cold

For this price I would expect a warm shower. I tried in the evening and morning, the shower didn't get warm at both times. Also the staff made it appear like the breakfast was included, so I was very surprised when at checkout I was asked to pay for breakfast. For the rest the stay was ok, the place is clean and staff friendly. Wouldn't go here again, had much better stays with much more value for money in Namibia.

Nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, günstige Lage, empfehlenswert!

Ideal war das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für unseren Namibiaurlaub. Ein kleines,sauberes Hotel mit unglaublich liebem und zuvokommenden Service.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage - die Inependance Ave. ist in Gehreichweite. Was mir neben dem sehr hilfsbereiten Team auch sehr gefiel war das Frühstück, das liebevoll reichhaltig war. Ich würde immer wieder Hiebe können.

Enkelt prisvärt boende

Ett helt okej boende för en dag eller två. Det är inget lyxhotell men billigt med helt okej rum. Sängarna sov vi bra i. Extra plus med muren runt området där man tryggt kan parkera. Poolen tittade vi på från avstånd, den såg inte inbjudande ut. Terrassen på övre våningen är öppen på utsidan av rummen vilket kan vara till både för och nackdel. Eftersom vi var fyra och hade två rum bredvid varandra var det enkelt att sätta sig där tillsammans. Frukosten var enkel, men beställde man så fixade den trevliga personalen bacon med scambled egg.

Basic hotel/pension with extremely nice service, the team was so happy and did everything to make us feel at home. Great neighborhood and it felt very safe. To go downtown I guess you need a car or take a cab but there are restaurants within walking distance too.

Lovely family run hotel

Two lovely ladies (one who was the owner I think) checked us in with a smile and lots of joking which was great! Room was big and comfortable, although the mosquito net was too small to cover the double bed - easy thing to change though! The young people staying next door to us made a lot of noise at 6.30am (music and shouting) which was unfortunate, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Breakfast buffet was great! And the recommended tapas restaurant near by was lovely.
