Hotel touring is good
Small room. Beds comfortable. Nice towels. Great location. Walk or hop on to most things. A good experience
This property was in an ideal location. It was a few minuets walk to all public transportation. i.e. the train station, metro and public buses. The property is basic, clean and well cared for. The front desk was very helpful. We needed to trade dollars for Euros and he sent us right around the corner where they exchange was done without fees. There is a lovely diner right around the corner. There were some layout issues with the room, but it was a good place to sleep. I would go again.
Great location! Clean room and friendly staff
Good location. Convenient to the train station and tourist attractions. Room is small, beds are ok. Overall it was fine.
Excellent location. Rooms are nice with comfortable beds. Nice A/C and satellite tv.
Very noisy coming from outside and inside the hotel
Older building. Small room
Not what we expected
It wasn’t clear from the booking that the hotel is not actually an entire building, but exists on the second floor of a building that also has other hotels and stuff in it. Our room had clearly just had someone use the shower as the bathroom was still steamy and humid. There was lipstick on the bedside table, lamp and pieces of false eyelashes as well. There was lipstick covered tissue in the trashcan. It wasn’t a good location for the train station and the windows did a good job of keeping out the light and sound. The problem was our room was right near the front desk so we heard the buzzer going all night, long and loud conversations had by The desk, employee and other guests.
Location was great for walking and touring to all the sites and very close to the train station
Perfect location, close to Roma Termini. Very helpfull staff.
Close to the main (Termini) train station, and convenient location for some of the sights in Rome. Elevator very small. Noisy street in the morning (trash being picked up). Room small but comfortable. Very good choice for a budget hotel.
.
Very helpful staff. You can store luggage for 1 day free then 5 euros/day.
Not far from the train station and near shopping and dining facilities. But the toilet in the room did not flush. They came look at it and couldn’t do anything to repair. We had to fill buckets with water to pour in the toilet to flush. The shower head had water coming from all directions. Terrible experience.
I travelled with my daughter. The place is very affordable for the location. It’s very small. However, the location was excellent, was easy to walk to the transit station, easy to catch a taxi, felt very safe walking through the neighborhood. The staff spoke little English.
Bathroom had a very bad mold smell. Was unable to use the air conditioner and was too moist outside to open the window. Very outdated. Beds and pillows were like sleeping on stacks of cardboard. The only positive note about this hotel is the staff there was very nice and it's location. Within walking distance to Termini station and many restaurants.
Everything good
The smell in the room was horrible . The staff only put odor spray and open the windows by the smell continues. Two days later, the smell was also in the building by the lobby was terrible. But I have no admit that is in a perfect area and the staff was good.
Basic hotel near the Train Station
The hotel is decent, near the train station. The lobby is on the second floor. The staff is super friendly. The hotel is old and the rooms are no-frills. The beds are okay, but the pillows are thin and uncomfortable. Overall, I had no problem staying there for one night.
Good hotel close to Roma Termini.
It’s a good budget hotel
The property was located in the middle of the downtown area which made traveling by foot to different venues very convenient. The property itself is old and dated. Our first room there was evidence of previous visitors around the bathroom sink and toilet. my husband got quite the (electric) shock when he went to turn on the bathroom fan (which didn’t work). There were two twin beds for us to sleep in. When my husband lay down the bed made a cracking noise so he lifted the mattress and saw that the only support were 6 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick plywood planks. Apparently he broke one of them when he sat on the bed (he is 240lbs/108.62kg). The television had sound, but no picture. It a small lighted button that kept turning on at night, waking him up. We switched rooms and were awakened by a visitor banging on the locked entry after 1am that morning as he tried to get in. It would be fine and have a much higher rating if only things worked! As the reception was friendly and accommodating.
Great hotel
We had a great time. The hotel is very basic, but has everything that one needs to stay for a few nights in Rome. There are many restaurants around the hotel, therefore food will never be a problem. And the best part, the hotel is just a walking distance to Termini station/underground and walking distance to the most main attraction. Will definitely be back.
Very basic but adequate
This was the worst hotel during our trip to Italy. The negatives: Pretty noisy area, there was a bar pretty close where they were singing karaoke until late at night. The window was broken and could not be closed properly. That could have blocked some of the noise. They gave us a room for disabled. For that reason, all the floor would get wet after taking a shower. The room was pretty crappy. We felt that we were staying at a room in a farm or something. In other words, I do not recommend this hotel. Additionally, the person at the front desk was not very friendly. He went to smoke to the stair with a friend/coworker while we were still trying to get some information about the city/our stay. Do yourself a favor and do not stahy there.
A lot of policemen are at the train station nearby, so this area is safe now.
The sheets were not clean had had some old stains and housekeeping did not give a set of new towels for 2 days unless asked for. The lady at the reception was good but did not speak English and the other gentleman at the reception did not sound helpful when asked about things around the area or transportation.
I enjoyed completely my stay
Old .. needs major update
For the rate we paid it was good enough to sleep. Definitely spacious. Close to the train station which was a big plus point for us.
For the price it was a good stay. Service was efficient. Room was okay those noise can be heard from next door and if the window is open. Suitable for a short stay.
Visited Rome for the Rugby
Excellent location. Nice staff. But the bedrooms need updating. Bed covers at least 20 years old.
Very convenient place to stay
Good place very close to train station and restaurants is very convenient
Location is close to Roma Termini making it convenient for traveling. The facilities need improvement. The heater in my room wasn’t fully working so it was cold all the time. The sofa in the check-in area looked so old, cheap, and worn out. The staff were nice and helpful.
staff were great . the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. close to metro dining and good location.
Worth considering
The hotel is great for the cost. Clean linen and bathroom. Perfect for solo and few/several days stay. Location is superb, next to Termini and with lots of cafes/bars/restos few meters away.
Staff was professional, polite and helpful. Stored my bag there 5vhours befire Check-in and left it there halfca day after Checkout, no charge. 5 minutes walk to Termini. Easy walk to sights like Colloseum etc. Excellent value! I'll stay there again if there's a vacancy.
Great location and nice staff
The location is indeed very nice. Close to the train station and nice around. Staff are nice and polite. The room is generally clean. But facing the street has led to noises since midnight.
This is an excellent "budget" hotel. A short (5 min or so) walk from the Roma Termini train stations, and major attraction are also within a walking distance. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, plus multiple dining options right outside of the hotel. The only con is that the doors are very thin, and since our room was right next to the concierge desk, there was constant buzzing (all guests need to ring the door to enter the building). Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you for offering this opportunity to explore Rome!
The hotel was very old and untidy. There was no blanket, no hair dryer, everything on request. The window did not close on the first night and out of 3 lights only one worked. The bathroom was very old and modly. After two nights we moved to another hotel.
Location is excellent for transportation, sight seeing, and dining options.
This was a convenient location, very quaint European vibe. The windows were not screened and I ended up with many insect bites. We didn’t like the bathroom shower area with a flat floor, felt like the bathroom “flooded” when we used the shower. Beds were small, mattresses were very “used”!
Great for short stay. It's clean an close to the train, etc
The staff were very helpful, They lent us a plug adapter as it's 3 pin in Italy not the usual 2 pin for the rest of Europe!! Location is good, and the area although it has a bad reputation, we found ok. The only thing i would say it was noisy at night for a light sleeper..
It was convienant
This is a basic economy hotel and a real throwback. They still have keys to the room. The remote to the TV didn’t work but wasn’t very interested in TV. The TV itself was only a 15” screen. The bed was comfortable. I prefer larger pillows and more substantial covers, but it all worked out. Great location near the opera house, train station, and lots of restaurants.
They had air conditioning but the check in area was hard to find
What an awesome little hotel right in the middle of a bustling shopping area. Park your car, and you can get everywhere within a few minutes, using the buses or transportation system.
The only thing about the Hotel the bathroom in the room I got was small, not recommended for big people the shower size is 2 feet by 2 feet, we were able to fit we are average size Was clean close to metro and train station Definitely Ill come back if I have the chance
This hotel is in a good location. Not even 10 to the train station, walkable to all of the must see and do activities. Very clean, service was nice,However, very thin walls. Could here everything from outside and the hallways, including the staff chit chatting and visiting where their breakroomwas, next to our room. Shower was very tiny. We are two girls about 105 pounds and under 5'5 and had a hard time not busting out the doors to wash our hair and reach our toes. Good for what we needed but if you plan on staying here more than a few nights you may want to consider another hotel
The hotel itself is at a great location (close to the train station and to various of great restaurants). The bathroom was not ideal. The toilet was facing the shower with little to no space for your legs. You will need to use your brain to figure a position to do the deed in a comfortable position. There was a ac in the room but it never worked. We were being told that because it was not hot enough outside we could not use it. For that we were Not confortable during certain nights because of the heat. For the price, it is worth it to consider it for a short stay. The staff is present 24/7 and the access at night is secured.
Rooms are too small. Beds are too small. Rooms need new paint, carpet. Television was size of my laptop screen. Price was good though, so you get what you pay for.
What I enjoyed most about this property was the unique Rome experience. Antique furniture, wooden double windows that open up to a street view. The antique elevator adds to the European experience. The staff was accommodating, informative, and very helpful; I would stay there again.
Perfect location for our very quick stop over in Rome. Simple, no frills accommodations located close to everything we needed.
Close to train and town. short stay small bathroom
Great location, comfortable beds ans bath, we had a quadruple rom with plenty of space, quiet, private and it has an elevstor for 4 people. Within walking distance of about 20 minutes to the Coloseum. Friendly and nice staff, clean room.
Room was spacious. But the staff did not provide body wash, shampoo etc. when we checked in. We had to ask for them.
Nice and clean place . Walkable to main train station , 3 minutes or 400 meters . Great location , close to hop on hop off buses . 24 hour front desk. I was able to check in at 1 am ( my train get cancelled) . Safe and restaurants near by are open all the time .
Hotel was in a decent area and the price was excellent. Plus it was built well and the rooms have good sound proofing. I value quiet rooms as the most critical aspect of a hotel since I spend most of the time sleeping there. My only complaint is the drains are all clogged up and you have to take a quick shower or the bathroom will flood.
It was fine
Get what you pay for. Shower unit was tiny. Larger people wouldn’t fit in.also leaking. Location excellent
Never utilize this Hotel.
It was terrible. The room was clean supplied a lot of towels that had to be used on bathroom floor due to the shower not draining. Reported it and didn’t seem to care. The air conditioner cord is far away from the plug in wall the house keeper plugged into an extension cord. Then you couldn’t use the light. Also very little air out and made things moist. Tv didn’t work. No phone in room. Power went out when used blow dryer. Unable to remember the hotel on the 1st floor but she (Carmen) helped us a lot very pleasant and we wish we had booked with her hotel.
The location was perfect from train station and close to all the major sites.
Not luxurious but clean and a great area. Thanks Touring!
The room was sparsely furnished and the accessories were limited, but it was worth the low price. It was clean and convenient to many things and the bed was very comfortable. The street was noisy, but when the windows were closed the noise was subdued. The shower drain needs to be cleared to speed drainage. After two nights I had become fond of my little sanctuary. It performed everything I needed it for.
The receptionist was very nice
While reasonably clean with air conditioning and the bed was comfortable, this property was barely at basic. No kettle or small fridge. A small room with a bed that practically filled the room. The bathroom door wouldn't open all the way as it hit the bed. Toilet seat not properly attached. No view. Building and air conditioner machine outside our window. The TV was ridiculously small and perched above the door. It was maybe 12". Hotel was reasonably close to the train station which is why we booked it for a short stay of 2 nights. Restaurants close by. The staff are very nice. But I would not stay here again.
The room was average
Its a average bnb to stay for a maximum one night. I would not recommend to stay for more than a night specially with a family.
good
Very pleased with this hotel. Trying to stay on a budget and pleased to find the room was spacious, private bathroom, very clean and very good staff. We had a lovely stay and easy to get to.
Excellent neighborhood, termini station 4 blocks away the hotel is old no AC, but they are friendly and helpful Very clean room if I need to come back of course I can stay here
Very old and dated.
Close to all services
I knew this was going to be a bare bones, it was rather worn. Our bathroom worked, but leaked from the upper tank. The whole place could have used a good scrub (walls and all) but the A/C worked which was a god-send in 100 degree weather. This is a good part of Rome for walking to many destinations and the restaurants and shops are fun to visit. While it describes a safe - there is not one. The key to the room is incredibly heavy, I know that's strange but think about carrying it in a bag every day. They would not budge one minute on check in time so if you are early, don't even try! Other than those things, it was fine. No issues to report.
Not a good experience
Sketchy tried to charge an extra 10.00 euros for some tourist tax price to high for what they offer
Personal friendly, and helpful. Thank you for everything
Great location to restaurants and train station
The location was great. Near many restaurants and an easy walking distance to the Roma Termini train station and City Sightseeing tour stop. My family of four fit well in the room with 4 twin beds. The tv didn't always work, which was a bummer. The drain in the shower was extremely slow and was never fixed, even though I responded to an email when I checked in. We had to turn off the water during the shower so it wouldn't overflow and go onto the floor.
The elevator too small , AC wasn’t working , it got fixed after reporting but the entire two nights didn’t stop making loud noises coming out from the air conditioner couldn’t sleep and it didn’t cool down. The shower got clogged water began to spill all over the bathroom , tv didn’t work as well . I would not recommend this hotel .
Shower room was too small and water drain too slow and ended up flooding.
Great bed mattress but overall the room was avg, ac was once again limited on settings and it was hot all night. Bathroom was very disappointing my 10 year old son couldn’t even fit in that shower…. Not sure who thought that is ok to build
Great
Okay for the location
Kind of seemingly suspicious place, but enough to spend a few nights about a 10 minute walk from Termini. Lots of restaurants around, and a few convenience/souvenier shops. Toiletries were minimal, you could hear your neighbours in the hallway, and there's the creepiest elevator you've ever seen if you didn't want to traverse numerous flights of stairs. But hey, it was clean enough and the bed was sleepable, but not comfy.
Muy limpio hotel y espacioso, cerca de todos los lugares.
The location suited our needs as we had easy access to trains and buses. Loved that it had a full kitchen.
Convenient and on the cheap side, that’s where the positives end. It is dirty, old and my room looked like it had been a senior citizen room - high toilet bowl and bench in the shower. Ok in a pinch, but if not, LOOK ELSEWHERE.
Don’t waste your money.
Dirty room. Black out and loss of electricity. Uncomfortable. One can’t enter the shower stall. One of the worst hotel I stayed and I have stayed all over the world.
Awesome place to stay
Great location close to the main Train Terminal and other public transport options. Heaps of dinning options next door. The rooms were large and spacious
Great place for a one night stay. Close to Termini. Great location for tourist locations. Not the most comfortable bed or room amenities.
It is in a great location, but the hotel is extremely dated (A/C goes out due to "electrical issues")
Located in the centre of Rome surrounded by restaurants. 20 mins from Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Large rooms with AC, Ensuite. Plenty of towels and shampoo. Clean. Old fashioned charm. The lift was a 1950s antique and we loved it
Family stay
The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. We had a very comfortable stay. The front desk personnel did not speak English very well, but they worked hard using Google translate to communicate with us.
Property was good. Hard to find for their sign is small and not visible. Good location
Great old school Rome hotel. Location is ideal with a block from Tremini, lots of restaurants around and walking distance to attractions. Hotel is clean and the staff are very pleasant. We travelled as a family of 4 and were given a VERY large room to accommodate us. Can be a bit loud at night if windows open but that’s the experience! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Cool expirence
Closed to go every where
Accommodating, I asked to change room for a more quiet one and manager made available right away.
The air conditioner was unplugged with no nearby outlet, room was hot with no AC, toilet leaked water with smell all over bathroom floors, walls had stains all over them, woke up itching (suspect bed bugs or dust mites in linens). Very disappointed with this one...i never leave bad reviews either.
