Charming „Austrian“ Hotel in the middle of town. If you are lucky enough to get the lake view, you won’t want to leave… Very nice and helpful receptionists, especially Paula.
Location and staff were great!
Location was great!…close to center for restaurants, shops, and site seeing.
I’ll start with the bad, the room was tiny and tight with luggage. The toilet made drip noises which made it hard to sleep. Other than that the staff was real kind, the view of the lake was breathtaking every time, very walkable to many stores and restaurants. It’s perfect if you packed very light, or solo and if you don’t get a drippy toilet you’ll enjoy yourself.
Loved the location and our view from the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Just a room for a sleep
Room for a sleep.
The Hotel Boutique Shoshana is a wonderful modern hotel! The staff were all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. They all spoke English perfectly. The breakfast included made-to-order eggs, little sandwiches, and wide variety of pastries, breads, ham and cheese, and a great coffee machine. A unique feature is that those sandwiches and pastries and breads are left all day in covered serving platters in the dining area of the lobby, which is very nice, especially for guests checking in mid-afternoon. Our room was a suite with a balcony, and it was like a beautiful loft apartment. The bathroom was good-sized with modern features and decor. Housekeeping was great. There is a roof deck, but we were in Buenos Aires in their winter, so we only checked out the roof deck. The hotel is conveniently located within blocks to a variety of restaurants an shops in the safe Buenos Aires district of Palermo. I highly recommend this hotel!
The bedroom was too small and the bathroom really pathetic. The internet only functioned for about 10 minutes each hour. Perhaps we were expecting too much from a 3 star rated hote. It certainly does not rate 3 stars.
The hotel we felt was a bit updated
In particular, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Old world charm with superb location
The staff was very accommodating and gracious. The facility is showing some wear and tear. Bathroom is small but with large shower. We had reserved a lake view and on the first floor it was minimal and not worth the extra money. The location was superb!
The location and cleanliness were great. The room had a balcony overlooking the lake. It was a nice hotel. I'd stay here again.
Very nice staff and the property was in the perfect location walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The view from our room was wonderful. The shower was a bit dated with very weak water pressure but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall a very nice stay!
Nice hotel within walking distance of everything in Bariloche: waterfront, restaurants, bars. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend paying a little more to stay on the lake side. The rooms are a little nicer and bigger and the views are breathtaking!
Not suitable for children.
Not as advertised.
Within walking distance of the main avenue without being on the main avenue.
This hotel was in the City Center, perfect location. Where youll find shops and restaurants. I had a lakeview room with a terrace. The hotel includes free breakfast. The Breakfast buffet is fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my stay.
Great moderate hotel. A little dated though could use update. Request a lake view room, the view is amazing!! Room was small, bed was super comfortable. There is heat but no a/c. No fan so it did get stuffy. Breakfast options were good although they will not let you take it back to the room. Real close to city center and staff speaks both Spanish and English. Reminded me of a hotel you would see in Switzerland. Good experience overall. Great for weekend or one night wouldn’t recommend for like a week though.
Lovely hotel, great location.
Beautiful are deco hotel. Great restaurant and a roof top bar. The restaurant has amazing food. I would rate it as one of the places to eat in Buenos Aires. Also an amazing breakfast included in hotel. The hotel does need a little tender care. They need to replace old grimy drapes and old towels. But i don't always expect perfection. If they put a little effort to upgrade the small things then it makes the hotel even more desirable.
Very nice place to stay with lake view and staff that are very attentive. Very picturesque
It was a lovely hotel, very centric and employees were a charm, bathroom needs s little update.
Hotel Tirol - needs improvement
Comfortable bed, extremely small bathroom and overall small room. Poor quality towels.
Overall god experience
Good place to stay, rooms with lake view are awesome. Hotel is a bit old and it shows in the beds and rooms, but the over all experience is worth the price. Location is great, breakfast is bread based but has variety of choices and bathroom was clean. My only problem was with the WiFi, it did not work the first 2 days and the next 2 it was very slow
Lovely, lovely, lovely! Nice people, well located, good breakfast. Could use more towel hangers in the bathroom. Beautiful balcony looking at lake, but that door could be modernized as well. Great stay!
Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel.
Great hotel in central location
Lovely great value hotel within walking distance of the town and lakeside. Great wi fi, powerful showers and very comfortable. We woukd recommend. Reception staff extremely welcoming and helpful
Excellent view of the lake from our dorm. Quite enjoyable stay overall, staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next time.
2nd stay and will be back. Front desk staff friendly & helpful. Only minor complaint being only drip coffee (no expresso) available on the breakfast buffet. Room had a great lake view!
A nice place to stay and very affordable. Very nice breakfast and excellent coffee.
An excellent location just a few minutes from the main street. Great base for exploring the area. Hotel is relatively basic but everything is nice and functional. Would stay again.
Our hotel room had an incredible view. The property itself, was older, but spotless. The staff was friendly, and helpful. We had never traveled abroad before, and had many questions. The staff emailed answers before our trip, booked tours and helped with anything we needed while there. It’s a smaller hotel, but there was someone at the desk 24/7. We would highly recommend this hotel.
Great location and very helpful staff. Great advice given re restaurants. They allowed us to borrow knives and make sandwiches for our trip out in the dining room which was very useful. Very central location and walkable to many places. Room was very comfortable and clean My only small criticism would be it would have been nice to be able to make or have available tea/coffee in either the room or in the dining area in the late afternoon when we returned from a trip out. l
Excellent location and very friendly staff. Great breakfast
Good location
Great location. Central and walkable to everything in Bariloche. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet with good range of items included. Views of lake while you eat. Double room was two single beds pushed together which isn’t great though.
Nice small hotel
Excellant choice in central location.
We enjoyed our stay and loved the view !!
Our room was comfortable and the view was amazing. We loved that there was a balcony to enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast was offered and it was a good start to the day. The staff was very friendly and knowlegable regarding what to do with the weather we had each day!! It is not noisy and it is a few steps away from the center, restaurants and breweries!! We hope to be back soon!!
Nice stay
Good breakfast. Great people, very helpful. In thr centre, so rooms can be noisy with students if facing the street. It needs more maintenance like painting and new carpets. Overall it was a pleasant stay
Great location, amazing views!
Beautiful hotel, amazing view. The staff was above my expectations!
Service is good, staff are nice courteous and very helpful. Hotel is old, fixtures are not in good shape the closet door in my room wouldn’t close all the way the mirror was broken and the pieces were held in place with tape Location is excellent near city center and lake
Great Stay
Great location, clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, helpful staff. Great hotel!
Great location, friendly helpful staff and beautiful views.
Very clean and confortable room. Beautiful view to the lake. Breakfast buffet was great. Even though it has just 3 stars, it offered great service. The staff booked the tour for us, made reservations at the restaurants, exchanged dollars, and even help us with an emergency we had, sending a taxi to pick us up from the Clinic San Carlos and taking us to the hotel. Mariana was amazing during our stay she also brought ice for my leg and help us ordering food outside the hotel. We really appreciate their kindness and help, so we really recommend this place.
Lake view room fantastic
Best location for walking around town. Lake view rooms are definitely worth it. Breakfast not the best but adequate. Overall the hotel was great with great staff.
Excellent location, with superb views (especially the higher floors you can go). Easy access to the centre but still quiet. Staff (english speaking) exceptionally helpful. Useful secure off-street parking but not easy to manoeuvre.
Nice place to stay in Bariloche
Hotel Tirol is in a very convenient place close to shops, restaurants and transport. Room is small but adequate with good view of the lake, and bathroom is compact but there is room to put toiletries at end of bath. Shower over bath with half glass screen. Breakfast is good in nice room with view. Staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful. Bariloche is a lovely little town reminiscent of Swiss mountain towns.
Really helpful staff and good location. Great views from lakeside rooms
Rooms are very very small....breakfast is ok
Nice hotel in an excellent location with super friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms. The lake view rooms afford a wonderful view. The extensive breakfast was also wonderful. Early leavers are treated to brekkie too! Walk everywhere or stay close and eat at the hotel 2 doors up the street - amazing!
Loved the location and the service which was efficient, kind and with lots of good will. The rooms and breakfast were nice.
Great location, very helpful staff and a lake view make this hotel a good choice when visiting Bariloche.
Great view! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental but very good with a good selection. Great location very close to town. Heating and heated floors worked well. We really enjoyed our stay.
Nice hotel. We stayed for just one night with a lovely view over the lake.
Simple
Everyrhing was ok, room slightly small, simple hotel, nothing special, I think I little overpriced for what you get.
Goooood
everything good
Friendly hotel
I had a great time at the Hotel Tirol. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Marianne went above and beyond to help me navigate the complexities of exploring a city where I spoke no Spanish. From restaurant recommendations, bus information, and explanations of cultural mysteries like mate` and the lack of eggs at breakfast. Highly recomended.
Great Location
The hotel was well located near the centre of town. The staff were friendly and helpful with information on the local area. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a little older and could do with some renovation that said the bed was comfortable, it had new linen and the bathroom was in good working order. The view to the lake was great. It was good value for the price I paid.
Very nice place to stay.
Very nice place to stay. We had a room with lovely view of lake and mountains. There is also a view from breakfast room. Good selection of breads, cakes, ham, cheese etc. for breakfast. Location v handy for town centre, restaurants, tourist office and bus stops to start of treks. Owners and staff very pleasant and helpful.
This hotel and it’s staff (specifically Mariana) were amazing. The view from our room was gorgeous and the breakfast was incredible. We have travel much of the world and stayed in many hotels and timeshares. This hotel was an amazing value for the money. We had room 301 (or 321) which was a corner room and appeared to be a bigger room with a lake view. The town was nice. Dress warm and do the 7 Lake Patagonia Tour.
Nice place!
It was a very nice stay with a very welcoming experience. Nice service and location. Would certainly stay there again
Excellent front desk service
Hotel Tirol front desk offered excellent service during my stay. I don't speak Spanish, so I went to them with just about any questions and needs ranging from directions to transportation and tours. Anyone on duty was very patient and warm.
Central hotel with beautiful view
Quaint hotel next to the main square in Bariloche. The hotel is well placed for tourists and kept quite clean. Our room overlooked the city and we found it rather loud at night so I would recommend a lake facing room if possible. Our toilet also screamed every time we flushed which lasted 15seconds which annoyed us and I am sure the neighbours too :) Breakfast is basic but held in the pretty little tea room with a stunning view
Helpful staff, dated hotel.
The hotel was well located near the centre, however despite the rooms apparently being newly renovated they did not have this feel and the hotel itself looked very dated. The rooms appeared in bad condition and the price, despite the nice view of the lake, was not worth it. Having said that the staff were welcoming and friendly and were very helpful when dealing with my special requirements.
Good hotel in the center of town
Awesome location in the center of town. We stayed here four nights. The room was pretty small but it met our needs. The breakfast is good, mostly pastries and bread along with coffee and juice. The people at the reception are super nice and helpful and at least one of them speaks perfect English. The only thing to note is that there is no AC and when we visited it was unusually hot even for summer, but with the window open at night it cooled down to a comfortable temperature. Overall great value and would definitely recommend!
Excellent.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They spoke immaculate English so were able to help us with any queries we had about getting around the area. The hotel was in a very central position very close to the main square.Just wish we'd been able to have a room with a view of the lake but all these were fully booked.
Basic but not unpleasant
This is a basic hotel in a convenient location near the attractive town square and the main shopping street of Bariloche. The staff are friendly and helpful, two of them speaking good English. The breakfast is plentiful and nice, particularly the fresh fruit. The room itself was basic and my wifi didn't work in the room for 2 of the 3 days I was there. I think the price of about $US105 was a bit high, even allowing for the blue dollar exchange rate.
Too noisy !
Walls thin and cars were drag racing in the streets ALL night both nights we stayed! Not conducive for rest at all! Small room. Could not find parking when arrived after a 31 hr journey. Frustrating. Great view and location for walking. Breakfast nice.
Good value hotel, close to centre
Nice room, quite large, very modern bathroom, very close to lake and centre of town, good value, ok breakfast. Owner speaks several languages and is very helpful, eg allowed us to keep luggage there, while we went elsewhere for a night, and provided good information.
Great hotel in Bariloche
We felt welcome and at home right from the start for our three night stay. Our room had a good view onto the lake, was light and airy. The hotel is a short walk into the centre and we soon got our bearings, and, despite recommendations for restaurants in town we found the hotel restaurant to be competitive and good quality and ate in for our second and third nights and had excellent service.
Great location, great views, great value
I really liked this hotel. It had a great location right in the center, had great views of the lake, and was reasonably priced. The staff was friendly enough (not overly warm, but helpful and polite) and when I had a last minute flight cancellation they didn't charge me for one of my nights even though I called that morning to let them know I wouldn't be there that afternoon. Based on the terms of the reservation they certainly could have charged me and I think most hotels would have, so I really appreciated that. The breakfast was good and the dining area also had great views of the Lake.
Old hotel
The staff is good but the room dont have a good condition is old
Excellent location and views of the lake
This hotel is in an excellent location, with fabulous views of the lake and a 5 minute walk to the main street in Bariloche. We had a large room with a huge terrace balcony - the room was clean and comfortable but some of the furniture could be updated and there was no chairs or table on the balcony which would have been nice. Our bedroom door was also difficult to close. Front desk staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. Breakfast is basic (bread, pastries etc.) but perfectly fine. Would certainly stay here again!
Near to the town centre
Warm welcome. Very helpful with the booking of trips. Good breakfast. Very, very noisy between 3.00 and 4.00 a.m. with street racers who seem to be ignored by the local police.
Very nice hotel, next to everything
Very good, and we was very happy there. Small but clean.
Bad service
This was a very comfortable hotel with a great view of the lake, in a central location in Bariloche. But the staff were often unfriendly and do not provide any form of assistance after 6pm each day. We received an angry response when we asked if we could settle our bill at 7pm, the night before we were checking out. We were also told we could not pay before 8am the next morning - even though we needed to leave at 7am. The safe in our room was faulty and when we couldn't open it, we're told we would have to wait till the next day, even though we urgently needed to open it to get our things.
Central location and excellent value
Close to centre of town, very comfortable, great view and friendly and helpful management and staff.
A VERY GEMUTLICH HOTEL
I LOVE IT MY GERMAN IS PROBABLY WRONG BUT THE HOTEL IS VERY COSY INDEED AND THE 2 PROPRIETORS ARE SO VERY NICE.APART FROM THE SMALL SIXE OF THE ROOM OVERLOOKING THE LAKE,I HAVE NO HESITATION AT ALL TO RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
Great location and excellent hotel
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tirol. The view over the lake was beautiful. The staff were very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions. Located close to the visitors information centre, restaurants and shopping area. Car parking was provided at the rear of the hotel. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel was just as expected.
Tirol Hotel, Bariloche, Argentina
My wife and I stayed at this small conveniently situated hotel with another couple (all of us retired). We had lake facing bedrooms with a fine view, as was the case with the breakfast room/lounge. The hotel management were very helpful and friendly, particularly with advice regarding local restaurants, trips and buses etc. We would stay there again if visiting the area.
Location is near the square and downtown and lake front. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants and shopping. The only negetive was the street noise that doesn't stop until 2:30 or 3:00 AM--especially on the weekends. Perhaps the lake view rooms are better but the side on the street is not the most desirable rooms to have because of traffic noise on the streets.
Perfect Location at a Great Price
We had no idea where this hotel was located relative to the "action" in Bariloche. Turns out it was in the perfect location. The view of the lake from our room was fabulous, and all the sights of the city were within easy walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful; they provided good suggestions about booking tours of the countryside and accurate information about local buses and restaurants. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The only complaint about the room is that it had only one electrical outlet and that was in the bathroom. Consequently, it was inconvenient to recharge phones and cameras. The breakfast, served each morning on lovely starched table cloths in a room overlooking a little garden overflowing with lushly flowering plants, included fruit, cereal, yoghurt, "medialunas", and little biscuits. As always, we had our choice of coffee or tea. I would definitely book here again.
Friendly, but would not return.
Hosts were very friendly and one spoke English. Central location was great for walking. Hotel looked better in pictures than reality.Room was bump into bed small. Breakfast served Tang instead of the fresh juice we had been having. Price was reasonable.
Avaliação do hotelaria.

Hotel Tirol is a good 3-star hotel that could be great. It is really well located: just metres from the main square (from where you can shop, eat take tours, and so on) as well as bordering on the lake. The receptionist who checked us in was extraordinarily helpful but her colleagues less so. The room is large and the bed, super comfortable. Street facing rooms are noisy and if it’s summer you will need the window open (there is no fan or aircon) so it’s worth taking a lakeside room (we had a street facing room in summer). The floor needed a good clean but after that was addressed the only issue with the room was a persistently draining toilet. Breakfast is plentiful and served 7.30-10. Parking is included if you book direct but as I’d booked through Expedia I was given side parking. Still free but fiddly. The WiFi is pretty slow unless you’re in the lobby which is frustrating. So all in all a high-average hotel.
