Perfect!

Hotel Thermal has an impeccable location. The room was clean, comfortable. The staff is professional, friendly. The wellness and the outdoor thermal pool are perfect. Tasty and varied food is a matter of course here. We will be happy to come back.

I liked how you have options to have room clean. One thing not all towels were left. I was missing wash cloth towels. My klinex paper not refilled.

This was a great hotel, excellent customer service, great breakfast options.. elevators were slow.. .but they do have stairs

The hotel has its own spa, saunas, and even a whole floor just for wellness to include consulting with a doctor. If you’ve booked the hotel try to get there early so you can access the pool and three free hours at the saunas during the night of your stay. Bring your hotel towels down for the pool but for the saunas grab a sheet. They do allow kids with adult supervision in the saunas but know that swimsuits/trunks are prohibited. There’s a few restaurants around the hotel along with a park right across the street. Definitely try out all the free thermal drinking fountains and just relax. It definitely is a very “spa like” town.

The vacation u deserved

To stay at the hotel was extremely nice! The staff was very friendly, polite and highly motivated to make everything for comfortable staying. The room was clean and cozy and panoramic windows with sophisticating view on Karlovy Vary. The breakfast fresh and tasty with a fantastic variety of products. My 3 days vacation gave me such a good spa experience and washed all the stress and tiredness away!

Good hotel but there is a space for improvement

+ Good experience overall: very good breakfast, wellness and spa included, room with a balcony, awesome attitude of the wellness and spa employee (woman) who went the extra mile to make our stay better, thank you - To improve: WiFi is not included in the price of a room (I have seen this in hostels but did not expect anything like this in a 4* hotel), I would also expect a more positive and welcoming attitude of the employees working at the reception / front desk, also a quick “where is what” info would be nice to hear during the check-in, parking payment automat did not work

Reconstruction, but not too noisy

Kind service at breakfast. Very convenient location. Standard breakfast. Only 2 out of 5 elevators are used for guests. Hotel is in reconstruction, but not too much noise.

SPA in the name is not a spa

Elevator were constantly not working and the SPA in the name does not really reflect a SPA, but one yakuzi and a 20m swimming pool and 3 saunas. For hotel that size it seems very small. Location and view are awesome!

Good breakfast, good but small pool. Sauna a bit overcrowd.

Nice for short stay

The outside of the hotel looked old and intimidating but the inside changed our minds totally. The spacious lobby with comfort seating all around is nice. The room was functional except for the odd moths flying in should you leave the window open.

KVIFF ACCOMODATION

We stayed there for KVIFF, it was a good location. Our room was not like in **** hotel. Poor decor, smell in a toilet.... Thare are several levels of room, we had the comfort one.

Time travel to the past

The hotel is well located. We only stayed for one night, so it was ok for only one night. The construction looks out of place. The surrounding constructions are of a completely different style. This really looks like a comunist era building. That could be attractive to some, the furniture and the ambience is very original. I felt I was in a sort of theme hotel, soviet style and back some decades in time. We did not use the spa facilities or restaurant.

Close to town but unfriendly staff

The hotel was within walking distance to most tourist sites. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was not very friendly. Upon check-in, we were turned away when trying to check in an hour early. We were told we could not even book a massage until we officially checked into our room. By that time, all of the massages were booked for the weekend. We did enjoy the indoor pool and the views from our balcony.

Skip the Hotel Thermal

Overall, this hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no shampoo in the shower (bottle was empty), there is no shower curtain and the water is difficult to regulate the temperature. The hotel is in a good location and has a good breakfast buffet, however, it has the feel and look of the 80's cold war era. I would skip this one and choose a quaint hotel in town.

Stay during film festival

Perfect location in the city center, clean rooms, beautiful view from 14th floor room, very helpful and friendly staff at reception, wifi for free. Hotel has a bit old dated furniture. Also restaurant for breakfast was a bit dirty, they didn´t have time to clean tables properly (on the other hand, rooms were very clean!).

Feels old, but good facilities

The hotel building and rooms feel old. The bed in our room was hard and still the old-style "two singles make a double". That said, the wellness area was very enjoyable and the breakfast was good. I'd stay here again.

Stayed at Thermal for KVIFF

I stayed here during the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, and this was a perfect location for logistics. The rooms have nice 70s decor, but carpets, beds, bedding/towels and finishes need updating. The bed was rather hard and spartan. The cinemas in the hotel are excellent.

Close to shopping and restaurants

The hotel staff were wonderful. Most of the staff spoke some English. The upper floors had not been renovated and the carpet was badly stained. Great views even from the back of the hotel. Spa services were incredible.

Not Impressed!!!

Havent been renovated since its been open in 1977, ugly looking bldg!!!!! Service are terrible. Rooms are terrible. The only thing renovated is restrooms. Hotel offers "Comfort Floor' which I guess was renovated, but for some reason not to US guests.

Die Unterkunft war in Ordnung, das Frühstück auch. Wir haben abends dort mit gegessen, das ist nicht zu empfehlen.

溫水泳池&露天溫泉池非常讚，我祝的是頂樓高級房，新穎、乾淨、安靜，早餐中規中矩，停車方便但每日費用不低，我很推薦這家酒店！

Das Hotel hält was es verspricht. Zimmer freundlich und zweckmäßig eingerichtet . Höfliches und zuvorkommendes Personal . Wunderschönes Thermalbad . Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Kurztrip

Die Hotelzimmer sind zweckmäßig und völlig ausreichend. Der Stadtblick aus einen der höheren Etagen ist fantastisch. Beim Frühstück vermisse ich Brot oder Brötchen für Gluten Allergiker. Ansonsten ist Karlsbad immer eine Reise wert.

Es ist eine tolle Erfahrung die Organisation im Hotel sowie Hotel-Bereich war prima. Die Kommunikation war auf deutsch, sehr entspannt. Das Resort auf dem Berg mit Außenpool und der tollen Saunawelt, kann man nur empfehlen.

Es war schöne drei Tage,was wir da verbracht haben.

Nettes Hotel, sauberes Zimmer, leckeres Essen und ausgesprochen nettes Personal. Der Zugang zum Thermalbad ist auf jeden Fall als plus Punkt erwähnenswert. Die Lage vom Hotel ist für Spaziergänge im Zentrum von Karlsbad ideal. Alles in allem waren wir positiv überrascht (die Vorurteile "Ostblock = Servicewüste" waren auf jeden Fall da😁) und mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden.

Der Brutalismus ist nicht mein Stil.

Bei der kürzlichen Renovierung 2021 hätten die Innenarchitekten sich bewusst sein müssen, dass ein cremefarbener Teppich für Hotels ungeeignet ist. Also, bleibende Flecken auf dem Teppich sind nicht einladend und dann passt der Preis auch nicht mehr. Ebenso wirkt eine Glasplatte auf dem Beistelltisch geklebt nur attraktiv, wenn diese nicht gesprungen ist. Vielmehr hätte man sich aber auf die Schallentkopplung der Räume (hier: Superior Suite) konzentrieren können, so hört man leider den Nachbarn bei den Gesprächen zu. Ansonsten soweit in Ordnung, aber der Preis passt trotz des inkludierten Wellnessbereiches nicht. Die Architektur des Gebäudes (Baustil: Brutalismus) erregt sicherlich seit 50 Jahren die Gemüter, meins ist es nicht. Passt einfach nicht in den Ort. Mein Vorschlag: Rückbau, Neubau! Allgemein haben die Architekten sich damals keine Gedanken über die Benutzung gemacht, weil man sich extrem verirren kann, wenn man sich aufmacht den Wellnessbereich zu finden. Und der ist wirklich nicht so dolle. Bunkeratmosphäre und ein merkwürdiger Geruch in der Luft. Die Saunabereiche und das Theremalbecken gegenüber, dass man begrenzt bzw. stark vergünstig mitbenutzen kann, ist aber sehr angenehm und da passt auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Schöne Lage

Einmal Hotel Termal - Immer Hotel Thermal ...... obwohl schon oft in sehr guten Hotels in Karlsbad . ... als die Badelandschaft noch nicht rekonstruiert war .... aber nun Innen u Außen Bademöglichkeiten , sogar im abgetrennten Beckenteil mit Heißem Sprudel.... mit vielen Saunen .... also nix für Wasserscheue ...... !!!

hervorragend wie immer

DIe Unterkunft war gut. DIe Panoramafesnter an der Seiten waren toll. Das Frühstückbüffet hatte zwar für ein so großes Hotel eine mittlere Auwahl. Umso besser fand ich, dass das Angebotene Essen regelmäßig gewechselt hat. Der Spa-Bereich Saunia hat mir auch gefallen. Allerdings sind mir zwei Punkte aufgefallen, die verbessert werden könnten: Die Saunen hatten Beschreibungen zu Temeperatur und Sonstiges, allerdings waren diese schlecht erkennbar. Zum anderen würde ich mir für die Brillen vor den Saunen Ablagen wünschen. DIes schätze ich bereits in anderen Spas.

Immer wieder großartig hier! das Frühstück einzigartig und das Wellnessangebot einfach Spitze. Ich wüsste nicht, ob es in Karlsbad etwas vergleichbares gibt, das dieses Preis Leistungsverhältnis aufweist. Auch die Parksituation hervorragend mit der eigenen Tiefgarage gelöst, wo man bei anderen Hotels erst einmal auf öffentliche Parkhäuser, weit weg vom Hotel, ausweichen muss.

Kein Geäckservice Minibar trotz mehrfacher bitte nich gefüllt Saft zum Frühstück mit Wasser verdünnt. Eintritt im Thermal Resort deutlich über Landeskategorie

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, wir haben nur Frühstück gebucht waren mit Auswahl sehr zufrieden. Personal super nett. Und die Aussicht vom 14 Stock mit Stadtblick war atemberaubend. Hotel befindet sich noch im Bau, Renovierung, es hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört . Immer wieder gerne wieder hin

Aussicht super, Therme genial, Freundlichkeit????

Wer zur Stadtseite und in einer höheren Etage wohnt, hat einen sensationellen Blick auf die wunderschöne Altstadt. Täglich drei Stunden in der Therme mit riesigem Schwimm- und Thermalbecken im Freien sind ein Traum. Das Frühstück ist dank der Größe des Hotels sehr vielfältig. Spuren von Freundlichkeit haben wir nur an der Rezeption finden können, in der der Bar, beim Frühstück und vor allem beim Abendbuffet (wir raten ab) war Lächeln verboten und es herrschte ein verbindlicher Befehlston - sofern man Sekunden nach Ende der Buffetzeit wagte, sein Getränk noch zu leeren. Es war eben nicht alles schlecht im Sozialismus!

Das Personal war sachlich, eher unfreundlich. An einem Tag gab es kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Das Hallenbad ist erst ab 13:00 Uhr offen, kein Schwimmen vor dem Frühstück möglich. Abends sehr laute Musik. Zimmerservice eher mangelhaft, die Kissen wurden nicht aufgeschüttelt und das Waschbecken nicht gereinigt. Es wurde eigentlich nur die Bettdecke aufgeschüttelt. Das ist für 4 Sterne zu wenig.

Centralt placeret hotel

Dejligt hotel, med god beliggenhed. Gæsterne har hård kamp om de 4 elevatorer, så heldigvis boede vi kun på 4.sal, (med kun 123 trin) Desværre var værelset ikke ordentligt rengjort ved vores sene check-in, afdækning på altan var under reparation og midlertidigt afdækket med plastik, og der var stål borespåner på altangulvet.

Nach anfänglichen Startschwierigkeiten nicht das gewünschte Zimmer. Wurde aber nach kurzer Beschwerde von der netten Dame an der Rezeption sofort richtig gestellt. Vielen Dank dafür. Mfg M.Dohms

Preis- Leistung war prinzipiell in Ordnung - Die Lage hervorragend. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, war aber alles sauber. Der " Spa " Bereich ist sehr klein, wir hätten uns das etwas größer vorgestellt

Alles in die Jahre gekommen, Zimmer viel zu klein und mit Teppich ausgelegt. Als dritte Person musste man auf einer klapprigen Liege schlafen, obwohl drei Bett Zimmer angeboten werden. Aufgebackene Brötchen zum Frühstück....... Personal jedoch sehr freundlich

Skvělý pobyt, doporučuji!

Pobyt předčil mé očekávání, četl jsem různé recenze i negativní ohledně staršího vybavení hotelu či pokojů, tak můj názor je opačný, pokoj čistý, nově vybavený, prostorná vana, oddělené WC od koupelny, měli jsme teda zakoupený pokoj po rekonstrukci. Je zde možnost parkování přímo u hotelu za rozumnou cenu. Co se týká wellness, tak sice menší na velikost hotelu, ale plně dostačující se vším co potřebujete (menší bazén na plavání s protiproudem, 3 sauny, vířivka, Kneippův chodník). Strava vynikající!!! Měli jsme pouze snídaně, ale obrovský výběr všeho. Celkový dojem je hodně nadprůměrný, výborná kvalita za rozumnou cenu a jste v centru.

Очень хорошее расположение . Вышел с отеля и ты на центральной улице, где происходят все мероприятия. Комнаты я бы сказал не тянут на 4*, старые шкафчики для одежды.

Wesentliche Verbesserung gegenüber vor 2 Jahren. Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Tipps und Hinweisen. Schnelles einchecken. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig; warmes und kaltes Büffet, Obst - alles bestens.Des weiteren gibt es sehr viel Möglichkeiten der Abwechslung im Hotel selbst. Selbst das Schwimmbad ist wieder zugänglich. Bei der Uhrzeit beim auschecken gibt es Irritationen. In den Broschüren fanden wir 10 / 11 Uhr; am Empfang stand 12 Uhr, was uns natürlich sehr gelegen kam, da wir noch eine Anwendung hatten.

Es müsste dringend renoviert werden. Lage ist sehr gut

Das Hotel ist SEHR abgenutzt, Personal unfreundlich und gibt falsche Informationen aus. Wir werden bestimmt nie wieder in diesem Hotel wohnen wollen.

Srdeční záležitost.

Výlet do K.Varů jsme si užili, můj muž z Varů pochází a tak se sem rádi vracíme na výlety ale také za přáteli.V hotelu Thermal jsme byli spokojeni, fajn je parkování - je to blízko na hotel ale naprosto skvělé jsou snídaně!!! Samozřejmě, hotel by potřeboval rekonstrukci, je nám hodně líto venkovního bazénu, nechávají ho chátrat, tam jsme se také před lety koupali a bylo to tam super. Ale Vary jsou naše srdeční záležitost, takže se sem zase vypravíme.

Niemals wieder .

Laut der Beschreibung ist der Appartment klimatisiert . In der Wirklichkeit befindet sich im Appartment sich einen Temperaturregler von der zentrale Lüftungsystem . Er funktioniert überhaupt nicht. Im Zimmer war immer dicke Luft. Der Temperaturregler ist für mich keine Klimaanlage . Nach mehreren Beschwerden beim Hotelpersonal wurde man gar nichts unternommen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich früher aus Hotel ausgecheckt , bzw.einen Tag bin ich früher abgereist, als ich geplant habe. Ich werde das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.

Der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel hat uns dreien sehr gut gefallen. Überdurchschnittliches gutes Frühstücksbüfett. Schöne saubere Badelandschaft. Nettes Personal. Jederzeit wieder!

Excelente experiência

Hotel de excelente custo benefício. Fica entre o centro da cidade e a parte mais turística. Ideal para quem quiser conhecer as fontes de águas termais.
