Excellent location and great breakfast

The hotel location is on the edge of pigeon valley and has an excellent view of it, especially during the night with light on. The free breakfast is excellent, and we really enjoyed it during our stay. The staff members are very helpful. We highly recommend it.

Lovely stay at the hotel in their family room. Breakfast was amazing, staff was very nice. Only minor issue was that the heat was hard to control (it was on or off) but I guess that comes with the territory of staying in a cave!

We were a group of four eldery friends and we had an excellent stay at hotel Taskonaklar.The large rooms were clean and confortable. So were the modern, elegant bathrooms. We would like to mention especially the reception staff.They were very helpful and went out of there way to accomodate all our needs and preferences. Thank you Farida Gül, thanks to all!

location is not good to far from the main attraction

The property and the location is absolutely beautiful. Best part that its away from the super touristy and crowded Göreme. Its a good thing believe me. The staff and service is Compassionate and Excellent. Resul was of amazing help like a family friend almost. I take 1 star away for 2 things, Moniq restaurant could have better food and better variety and second, one of the rooms in the cave suite we stayed had a little, just a little bit of stale smell.

The cave hotel was unique in itself but the bathroom in the cave was 😍

Bad location too far from main area of Cappadocia

The property and the services are excellent. People very compassionate when my son got sick showing and escorting me to the pharmacy and store.

Excellent location. Restaurant staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and well decorated, however, despite the beautiful views of the valley you are instructed from viewing the majority of the hot air balloons. The biggest critique of the hotel is the front desk staff. Resul was great but the rest were entirely unreliable. We had made a pre-booking for any activity as advised and were not assisted when the activity was cancelled. They dismissed our concern and failed to communicate with any alternatives. We enquired several times to explore rebooking however the staff does not have the work ethic and initiative as other hotels do. I would recommend this property for a clean, safe and well manicured hotel but look elsewhere for more substance, reliability and customer service.

Amazing service and stunning hotel

The room was beautiful and spacious! Extremely hard-working, kind, efficient, and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious, the best I had my entire time in Turkey! I had dinner at the restaurant twice as well and highly recommend. One small issue with my room was the smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Perhaps the vent was near a smoking area but I had to keep the door shut otherwise the entire room smelled bad. My only suggestion for improvement is for the reception staff to provide accurate requirements for tours booked and perhaps offer other options through other companies. Some options were overpriced and I was told I needed to walk to the ATM to get cash when the company readily accepted credit card without any issues. The hotel was amazing beyond my expectations and I’ll be sure to stay here next time I come to Kapadokya and have already recommended it to friends! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Perfect service

The room image and the room in reality isnt the same. The room that I had booked look good online, however in reality the interior wasn't up to expectation.

PROS -Great location, great views and great staff! One of the nicest hotels we've ever experienced. -Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great communication. -Rooms were super clean, spacious and our terrace had a great view. -Good location within walking distance to a few shopping stores and many places to eat. -Area was quiet and property was super nice and clean. -Moniq restaurant had amazing food and breakfast was included in our stay. Loved this! -They were great with arranging transportation if we needed it and they were great with giving us the history of the region upon arrival CONS -We booked through Expedia and selected "pay later" or what Expedia calls "book now, pay later" so we were supposed to pay upon arrival. However, the hotel took the full amount for the stay out of our card 2 weeks in advance. Apparently this is an error on the hotel's part, not Expedia since the hotel gives those details/policies to Expedia. I hope the hotel can fix this since this is a big deal to a lot of people who are anticipating not having to pay until they arrive. -Hotel for the area and for Turkey is on the more expensive side. However, our room was fantastic and you definitely get what you're paying for! -Our room was right next to the main street the hotel is located on, you could hear some traffic throughout the day while in our room but it never kept me up at night and I am a light sleeper.

The most wonderful staff and absolutely beautiful hotel. We booked the design suite with the bath and enjoyed that very much given the cold weather. We loved the pet friendliness as we were able to hang out with sweet dogs and cats while we were there. Really recommend this hotel - you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent location, staff, accommodations. Beautiful hotel, views and the rooms are great. My room had no air conditioning. It would be better to have AC when I visited in august. But it wasn’t bad given that the room is built into the cave. So, it wasn’t too hot even this time of year. Otherwise, great experience all around.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly and took the time to answer all of our inquiries. It was a lovely escape for 2 nights from the hustle and bustle of the city. Amazing views all around.

Taskonaklar hotel 2023

Had a wonderful stay at this cave hotel! We had the royal suite , the view and service was amazing and the kids had another room. ! Breakfast is always fabulous and delicious! Razum helped us a lot with restaurants and places to go! Highly recommend this place! The staff was very good too! Love , love this place!

Perfect stay in Cappadocia

One of the most unique properties I stayed at. My room was basically a very beautiful large cave. The staff are kind and helpful. Food was great and the views are spectacular. I will definitely return!

Fantastic

We had a fantastic trip. The rooms are excellent, great customer service, and amazing breakfast.

The property is a Jewel. Staff is very good and food is awesome. The breakfast is very good. Property is quiet and has great view of the valley. There are two minor annoyance. There is limited parking and the internet in my room was spotty though it worked great in the lobby and even when I got out of the room.

Conveniently located, cozy and quite diversified in regards to having beautiful spots, corners and cozy home interiors. Nice breakfast.

Hotel Taskonaklar

What a beautiful hotel. Views are spectacular and service is great. Well situated near a few shops, taxi stands and stores. If you want a hotel with direct view of the hot air balloons, this one is a bit further from where they depart. You will be able to see them from the hotel but they are a bit far away. We picked a room with private hot tub on the balcony and that was a real treat. Staff and service was great, sometimes a bit insisting with some touristy tours at time….

Very friendly service! Food was delicious. Our room was upgraded. They prepared was a boxed breakfast since our flight was early.

First and foremost what a great property! I have never had such great service. Everyone was so sweet, professional and just outright polite. I have to give a shout out to some of the staff that were exceptional: Ebru TOZAGAN, Ismail KOC, Secil TEZCAN, Büsra SIMSEK. I could not have asked for a better stay on my trip. We had a private dinner with a DJ and the musci was fantastic too. Thank you, thank you for a wonderful stay.

( the wine was offered but we do not drink wine) the property is exceptionally beautiful. Only criticism is would prefer to have a top sheet and light comforter. But property and view on terrace from room makes you for this!!!!

Excellent hotel with fantastic views from the room

This cave hotel is excellent.The people are super friendly, and is one of the best cave hotels in the region. The room was large and accomodated three people easily. The managers went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast overlooking the rising sun is memorable. The whole experience was memorable for us and we will never forget the hospitality of the people running the hotel.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and we had an amazing experience. The staff and servers went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay/memorable meals. The food at the restaurant was amazing for all meals and it made us not want to leave the hotel. Murat and the rest of the servers at the hotel restaurant were super friendly and attentive during our time there. The view of Cappadocia from the hotel is beautiful as well, and the rooms were amazing. We were able to book many activities through the hotel as well such as the hot air balloon and a tour of the city.

Very good staff.

Amazing views were match with their amazing staff which made our stayed magical. It has a great location from the Castle, Fairy Chimneys and a short drive to Gorem. I can't reinforce it enough the Staff was beyond amazing.

Helpful, friendly staff: there was a combined effort to make an important occasion a very special,occasion, indeed. We had wonderful accommodations, and the hotel puts on a terrific breakfast. We ate at the hotel each evening, and the chef was flexible about substituting sauces and vegetables. Thr hotel is in Uchisar, away from the noise and congestion of Goreme, and has excellent views into Pigeon Valley. Good sunsets, good shots of morning balloons.

This property was truly one of the best I've ever stayed at. The pictures do not give it justice. We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was clean, beautiful and extremely cozy. We walked out of the room for sunrise and had the best view of the hot air balloons in the distance. Also enjoyed the breakfast and lunch there. Furthermore, the staff was excellent and genuinely want to help with anything and everything. I never write reviews but this was truly a wonderful place to stay at. I fully recommend it!

The hotel was lovely. I don't remember receiving any VIP access items or upgrades. The bed was a bit hard for my liking (felt like I slept on the cave, not in it). Other than that the service was fantastic, the room and bathroom were very clean and the food was fantastic. The terrace was also beautiful!

Everything was great specially breakfast and rooms are great

The hotel is centrally located amongst all the local attractions (Göreme Open Air Museum, Avanos, Deverent and Zelve Valleys, Paşabağ Monks Valley and the underground cities of Cappadocia). The hotel was away from the traffic, so all we could hear was the birds in the valley. Overlooking the Pigeon Valley, the view from the room terrace was spectacular! We woke up for the sunrise (visible from the room) and caught the exquisite view of tens of hot-air balloons roaming the valley. The staff was very welcoming and courteous. Our room was clean and the amenities were plentiful. We had a private terrace and a balcony, where we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast overlooking the valley. The restaurant also overlooks the valley, so you do not have to have a private terrace for the view.

Check-in sırasında güleryüzlü otel çalışanlrı tarafından samimi şekilde karşılandık. Önce resepsiyonda sonra odamızda detaylı şekilde tüm bilgiler verildi. King suite odada 4 gece boyunca konakladık. İçeride şömine, terasta bir adet oturma alanı, onun birkaç basamak aşağısında jakuzi, onun da birkaç basamak aşağısında şezlongların bulunduğu alan vardı. Kar yağdığı için sadece jakuzi kısmını kullanabildik fakat genel oda ve teras düzeni çok iyiydi. Oda içerisinde kaloriferler, klima ve şömine bulunuyor. Hava durumundan dolayı ısınma için klima kullanmak durumunda kaldık fakat genel olarak oda sıcaklığı çok düşük olmuyor. Taş bina olmasın rağmen kalorifer ve şömine ile güzel bir sıcaklık yakalanıyor. Şömine için günlük odun hakkı var gayet yeterli. İçeride çok hoş bir ambiyans oluşuyor. Restoran kısmı başarılı. Özellikle kahvaltı harika. Menemeni denemenizi kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Kahvaltı odaya da istenebiliyor. Akşam yemeği menüsü seçenekleri bir tık az. Fakat porsiyonlar ve lezzet iyi. Çalışanların tümü güleryüzlü ve yardımsever. Hepsine çok teşekkürler. Özellikle de her ihtiyacımızda yardımcı olan Metin Bey'e. Fiyatlar yüksek hatta bizim konakladığımız oda epey yüksekti fakat Kapadokya bölgesinde Uçhisar diğer yerlere göre standartları daha yüksek bir yer. Taşkonaklar da hizmet anlamında Uçhisar'daki mekanların başında gelenlerden. Ben şahsen Göreme'de rutubet kokulu cave odalarda kalmak istemem. Umarım yorumlarım yardımcı olmuştur.

Unbelievable stay & a must choose!

I am a frequent traveler, and this hotel exceeded the expectations by far! When choosing a hotel many pictures can be deceiving however in this the pictures wouldn’t even do it justice! The views were beyond exceptional! It is a short ride (30 lira) from the main area Goreme, one day we even decided to hike there via the pigeon valley. This area gives you a view overlooking pigeon valley with the volcano mountain in the backdrop! We caught many sunrises in our private hot tub as well as getting to see the popular air balloons right from our own terrace! Our room was quite spacious which was another advantage of staying right outside Goreme! We stayed a couple nights in another hotel and quickly decided when arriving there we wanted to go back to Taskonaklar as the room, view, and staff were far superior than that of the other 2 hotels we stayed in when visiting Cappadocia! You can opt to have breakfast either in the restaurant, on the open area terrace, or in your room. There are many picturesque opportunities in the outdoor spaces as well as on their swings in their garden! If I ever come back to Cappadocia I will not hesitate to book here again!

Beautiful hotel with perfect service and views

My husband and I picked this hotel for a romantic weekend away from the city’s chaos and the hotel and services are just mesmerizing. The hotel is impeccable, clean, a service with a smile, beautiful surroundings. The only thing is that we got a small room that got almost no light. Next time I will book a room that has a large window and gets more light.

Nice common area, nice room, nice service. I booked the royal king and the hot tub is prefect. Staff are very nice but the food is so so. You can find good food around tho! Also ! many cats !

The property and our hotel room especially were beautiful! We had a gorgeous view of the valley from our little balcony, staff were attentive, super warm and helpful! Had an amazing stay throughout and could not find anything wrong at all with this hotel!

we Had a wonderful time at the hotel with the most beautiful view to the best organic and delicious breakfast. Unforgettable memories that we took back from this place . Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to get the best of kapadokya . We had a baby and booked a hot air ballon ride for myself n husband and was wondering how can we both go together with the baby. The hotel provided us with a lovely babysitter who was from housekeeping. My baby had a lovely time with her while we enjoyed pure Hot Air Balloon Ride. Thank you for being such a good host. Will definitely comeback.
