Not recommended at all!!! Just rented for 30 minutes for a quick shower before my flight took 30 minutes just to check in even though the hotel was empty staff is not trained at all dont know simple process of check in im not picky at all but one of the worst checking process and gave me a room with out ac (got moved to one that did) not hot water!!

Absolutely fine for the price - clean, bed, bathroom, air con (once I was given the remote). It was exactly as advertised.

Not worst to stay

It was cheap to stay, buy i stayed 5 day and 4 nights, but staff didn't clean the room during stay. They were unfriendly, and wifi is really bad. Hotel is located in downtown. However, I will pay extra money to stay in a better hotel.

Only stay if on a tight budget!

This hotel is ok if you are trying to stick with a budget and location was good as near to Ado station and Mercado 28 but you must be prepared for neighbours having a party next door, incredibly loud and old air conditioning units (although they do cool down, but only have an off and on switch that we could see), the toilet seat not being attached, and terrible wifi. The cleaning was acceptable but a dead mosquito and hair was still left in the shower, and under the bed was filthy! Lastly they look the doors at night to the entrance and you need to ring a bell to get in. We were woken up during the night to someone ringing the bell for about 10 minutes as quite clearly the receptionist had fallen asleep.

Good location

Very good location. Close to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was older but clean.

Hotel Tankah is a charming surprise.

Had family business. I am quite amazed how centrally located this hotel is. Every time we went looking for something we found it within a few blocks up to 5 minutes. No exceptions! Restaurants and tourist items. Convenience stores. Banks. Peso/dollar change. Pharmacy. All in the same block. They have locked gated parking. They knock on ur door for wakeup calls. Been before...will be back. No pool. No vending. No refrig or microwave. But at $25...you can't beat it.

Hotel Tankah is a great value for staying in downtown Cancun. The room was clean and safe. It is about a 10 minute walk to the ADO bustop with bags. On check in the front desk was deserted. It took me 15 minutes to scrounge up someont to check me in. If you don't mind hiccups like that, Tankah is fine for those passing through.

OK for a night in transit

Taciturn front desk had no record of my reservation. I got an adequate room: economical, clean & safe. A bit of a hoof from Av Tulum/ADO:15mins with bags. If you stay get a room in back for quiet.

Everything about the hotel itself was really nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, the a/c kept the room nice and cool. It's right across the street from a huge market with tons of great food and shopping and the WalMart and bus stop are only about a 10 minute walk. The only negative thing about my stay here was that one night when I came back from the beach there were (no exaggeration) about 50 federal police officers with heavy machine guns in the lobby and outside the front door. They were moving equipment from one of the rooms out to their vehicles until about 3am and it made a lot or noise so i didn't get much sleep. The hotel staff didn't seem to have much to say about it either so it left me a little confused. Otherwise, it was a really nice hotel.

Basic hotel downtown.

Rustic, basic but clean. Good location if you want to stay downtown. Have stayed in better hotels in mexico for less but maybe this is what you get here. Nothing unpleasant but aircon very noisy, feels quite dark, Windows but can't see out. Having said that it's clean and fuctional, not for hanging out in but if you just using it to sleep it's o.k..

Comfy cheap stay

This place has the basics. Nothing fancy, but very nice accommodations. Heart of downtown cancun you can catch a bus to many of the near by attractions

Basic Room For a Night

I stayed here overnight to catch a connecting flight the following day. The hotel is right across the street from Mercado 28, which is an ok place to look at touristy trinkets, or get a quick bite. Not far from bus station and El Centro, and close to some inexpensive restaurants. Its cheap, old, beds are semi comfortable, room smells a little musty, biut relatively clean. A/C worked well, but showers were tepid at best. I would say good for a night or two at most. Other better options for same or a little more money. But it's an acceptable option.

Pésimo, el lugar mal cuidado, l atención horrible, mala actitud de los empleados, habitaciones en mal estado, ni siquiera tiene la cordialidad de abrirte el estacionamiento te tienes que bajar tu mismo a abrirte y cerrarte el portón!

No pudimos estacionar el auto dentro de la propiedad y no ha habido agua caliente en la habitación

Se intentaron meter a la habitación y quitar la cadena con la mano ,está llenondw personas indus y uno salió prelogroso

En general la atención del personal es increíble El hotel está rodeado de naturaleza, perfecto para desconectarse del mundo

Puede mejorar pero en general está bien para dormir y hacer otras actividades durante el día, cerca hay lugares para comer un mercado y a unos 10 min en auto algunos bares, por la noche si se siente algo de calor ya que no funciona el aire acondicionado y no puedes abrir la ventana por los moscos, tal vez solicitando un cambio de habitación pero de ahí en fuera está bien igual el estacionamiento

Buena ubicación.

El personal es muy amable, hacen limpieza todos los días. No me gustó mucho que no salía mucha agua de la regadera, así que te tardabas más en bañar y el inodoro no bajaba suficiente agua. Fuera de eso todo estuvo bien, tienen internet y aire acondicionado que funcionan correctamente! Está ubicado en buen lugar, es seguro, cómodo y agradable.

Me gusta que esta cerca del mercado 28 Pero el hotel es muy sencillo digo el precio lo justifica pero la tele nunca se pudo ver, habia muchísimos mosquitos y en la cena no hay muchas opciones de salir

Las damas de el turno matutino y vespertino muy groseras, mucha falta de amabilidad, no me quisieron facturar y necesito mi factura, el servicio y la atención pésimos, sólo el jóven e el turno nocturno super amable. muy decepcionado de el lugar.

A localização e o atendimento são bons. Só tinha um pequeno vazamento no teto do banheiro.

Recepecion de 24 horas. El habitacion limpio y comado. No hay agua de biber en el habitacion pero hay un supermercado muy circa. El habitacion era muy tranquilo

Perfecto para mi estancia. Cerca a los lugares de interés. Bien atendida.

Recibirás justo lo que pagas. El lugar estaba muy limpio sin embargo el estado de conservación no es el mejor.

Me gustó el precio y que incluyera aire acondicionado, no me gustó mucho la estructura del hotel.

Inmejorable ubicación, cerca de todo en el centro de Cancún. El personal muy atento, la habitación cómoda y muy limpia. Siempre elijo este hotel, satisface a la perfección mis necesidades.

Hotel económico y básico, sirve para dormir

Te proporcionan tu espacio en la habitación sin tener ningún plus o confort adicional, sirve para lo que es pero no recomendable para pasar mas de 1 noche a menos que lo que te interese sea estar fuera todo el día y solo llegar a dormir.

Para el precio estuvo bien sin embargo no es ninguna gran experiencia ni buena recomendación, el personal de recepción tiene la peor actitud para todo, es una pena porque podrían ser un poco más amables.
