Great suites w fridge and microwave. Awesome patio overlooking mountains and parts of the city below.

My daughter and I arrived in Quito and chosen this place to stay. The food is great, we enjoyed the fantastic views. The staff very friendly and welcoming, Hernán was very helpful, friendly, funny 😊 I would strongly recommend it!!

There was a loud party taking place on the ground floor which continued through 2 a.m.

Nice stay

Well worth the money, very large suites. A bit dated and tired. Bring ear plugs (dogs barking much of the night, and sleep masks and clips to keep the curtains shut. Slow service in the restaurant, but very good food. Front desk staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. If you're looking for a very decent hotel at a very fair price, this hits the mark. If you want luxury, you'll need to pay twice as much, or more. Safe location and UBER friendly.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the valley! Very reasonable price for the quality of hotel and amazing views. Ate at the restaurant for supper several times and excellent food. Free breakfast excellent! Many good nearby restaurants and pubs. Bit far from old town, we were able to walk, but cabs/Uber only cost a few dollars to get there.

A park next to the hotel has become a youth hang out and tend to stay to early morning hours partying. the hotel upgraded me to a suite away from the park at no extra charge. which my wife are very grateful.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff

Convenient location for my purposes.

I got a room that faces an area where young people gather at night, drinking, and being loud. I wasn’t able to sleep the entire night. The room smell like cigarettes smoke, I complained about it. I was told it is a nonsmoking room, and it may be someone on the next room smoking. My problem wasn’t resolved.

Great view hotel

The hotel view is spectacular, unfortunately is outdated in term of room amenities. The Internet is rarely working, if so its very slow. Main entrance doors are always locked and only the receptionist can unlock it which I find it inconvenient although there is a security person on site I don't see a need for that.

Overall a good hotel

Staff at front desk could have been a little more friendly/helpful. Breakfast is included but they serve the same food everyday. Pillows are not the best. Other than that this is a nice place for the price.

All was great but the rooms seems to be a bit close together and you can hear a bit of noise. Other than that, everything went well.

This a delightful hotel. I stayed for seven nights. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful especially when it came to sorting out Covid tests to return home. It was also great value for money. I had a few meals at the restaurant which were nice. It was also popular with diners who weren't guests at the hotel. On arrival, esp if arriving at night, the hotel might look like it's secluded. This is not the case. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from some of amazing restaurants. Great hotel at reasonable price. Book it.

Hands-down, one of the best value hotels I've ever stayed at in the world. Excellent and helpful staff (Betty, Ricardo, Eduardo, Angel, etc.). The breakfast was incredible!

The hotel has a great view. We got an upgrade and stayed in a suite with balcony. The food was wonderful, too. Definitely a nice place to stay in Quito.

Beautiful vistas, comfortable space

The location offers stunning views of the surrounding mountainscape from rooms and the cafe/bar terrace.

Hotel is good but the grill is bad. Eat elsewhere.

We loved the location and picked it because of the view which was absolutely breathtaking. The only drawback was that it was located next to a park that had barking dogs early in the morning and was a gathering place for young people to talk and laugh at 2 am!

The room was very clean, the food was excellent and the shower had hot water. Overall I was very please aside from one incident. I had booked MONTHS in advance and had asked for a suite with a king sized bed and balcony. Somehow there was a mixup and they gave my room away.... Instead of refunding the difference they gave me a free dinner, which I accepted. However the dinner only cost $14, which was much less than the difference in price, so that was a bit disappointing. Either way the property itself is great and everyone was very kind to me during my stay. I would stay again despite the mix up.

The only down side is that the rooms do not have air conditioning at her than that the hotel was pleasant and in a good area

Beautiful views of the mountains, breakfast was good with scrambled eggs every morning. The suite was large with a bedroom, sitting room, and kitchen. There was a washer and dryer, but we could not use as the dryer was broken. The hair dryer also stopped working. The hotel was out from the main city, which was quiet but made it difficult to walk to places.

The hotel has an impressive view and beautiful terraces. However, carpets and curtains are old. A little renovation will make a great difference.

Everything was great! The only exception was, the hotel does not provide wash rags, only 3 towels. Restaurant had great food, everything reasonably priced. Front desk staff exceptionally helpful! Pick up at airport and tours was superb.

The view is amaizing!! Alejandra, Eduardo, Jose, Jorge and Galo made our stay like we were home, so friendly and always happy!! We miss you!! I will recommend this hotel to everybody!!

Gave us lower grade room was rented after second day of our 3 day's rented they gave of the higher grade room with excuses

Nice photos on the web. Nothing to do with reality. Staff very unconsidered with guests, and understaffed.

All is good except the breakfast its suppossed to be served from 6:00am, I went twice to the restaurant at 6:00am there was nothing, they began at 6:30am. If you begin at 6:30 please tell that to customer in the checkin process.

Incredible view from breakfast area.

Beautiful view overlooking the valley. A view that very few properties have. It was incredible to eat breakfast with that view. My wife and I looked forward to it every morning.

The view is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is unusable when it is taken over by loud private events. More power outlets in the restaurant would be really nice.

The view is beautiful! It’s a small confortable hotel. Becayof the holidays we were not permitted to use the tables with a view in the restaurant. Very disappointed, because the view is the reason we stayed in this hotel. Strange policy, they booked the better tables for people who were not staying in the hotel.

Quito Stay .....

Very nice 25 room hotel, with a very nice bar and restaurant ....staff is super accommodating ...a view to knock your socks off,,close to downtown, transportation is always available ....everyone in our group said we would stay again on our next trip to Quito ....( no English channels on tv , but we survived quite well without ....)

The hotel is overlooking the northern part of Quito, an excellent view from the breakfast area, The hotel needs to have more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or robes.

Average hotel

Room was clean but the hotel did not have any amenities (pool, Jacuzzi, etc.) It is a little bit overpriced.

nice hotel at top of hill-great views with outdoor terraces. we were put in a room right next to a park which was active with youngsters beyond midnight. So with the laughing and partying it was hard to sleep until they got tired and went home.

Quito was beautiful and can’t wait to come visit again. I just wish we had chosen to stay at the EB Hotel instead. Our experience with Stubel was not the slightest bit great. First, we requested for 2 twin beds and were given one king. We were told that they would place us in a 2 twin room the next day but later told us that it wasn’t going to happen. Then we called down 3 times about a broken iron board. Was told that a new one would be brought up. Waited an hour and a half, still nothing. Went downstairs and spoke with hotel staff and was told someone would be up shortly. Never came. Also, the room that was supposedly cleaned still had old trash laying around and sheets were not replaced. Honestly, I was shocked at the lack of care and service. Coming from Hotel Oro Verde (Guayaquil), where the staff and service were spectacular, I just assumed that they would be just as great.

Excellent views and service

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Stubel. Rodrico at the front desk was an absolute Godsend, always helpful and friendly with great suggestions as to places to go and things to do. Was on the second floor, so it was a bit noisy (people at small park outside and the noise from the water heater, which broke down - no hot water for two days). Fridge in room also didn't work, but it wasn't important to me, so I did not mention it to front desk. Overall a great place to stay!

Strategically located, with an spectacular view of Valle de Cumbaya and the Eastern Cordillera. Great price/quality ratio. Cordial and professional staff. Very confortable room with terrace. Good buffet breakfast. Overall, a very nice find. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel with a great view.

Nice hotel with a great view. The hotel provides breakfast which is convenient. The gym and the sauna are also good to have in the hotel. It is little far from the historical center. However, the taxi ride will cost less than $5.00.

Nice but chilly

Quito was in the midst of a cold spell and the room had no heat so we were pretty uncomfortable unless we were in bed. The hotel and reestaurant are really nice and the view is spectacul@ since he hotel sits on a hill.

Hotel with beautiful view

Beautiful location, clean rooms, and a nice restaurant on site. However, the best part of the experience was the staff who were extremely helpful in whatever we needed and even called the taxi I left my phone in. Will book with again.

Great views and great hotel

The hotel is great and the front desk staff are incredibly helpful. Beautiful place to stay with incredible views. Very nice area of the city to walk around with great coffee shops within a few blocks. Only issue was the restaurant staff. The breakfast buffet was included in the price and the food is very good. It's just that the food on the buffet would run out and the coffee cold yet the two staff members would not replace the food since they were too busy just standing around on their cell phones. It was a minor issue compared to the rest of the stay and we would stay again if we went back to Quito.

Very nice hotel close to the center of town, shopping areas and restaurants but far enough, on a quite street, for a pleasant and restful stay. The view front the restaurant is possibly the best in Quito. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this little jewel away from the noise of the city.

As a solo non-Spanish speaking tourist, Hotel Stubel was a great place to be while visiting friends in Quito. Amazing views, convenient neighborhood, delicious breakfast, helpful staff and many day tours available to areas around Quito.

Friendly staff. Always helpful and welcoming. Left my bags for 2 hours before my trip on the reception and they were very helpful. Great restaurant food was delicious! Awesome view as well.

It’s ok.

The beds are small. I payed for a king bed or 2 queen. And I got one queen. But the next day I asked for an additional bed for my daughter and they gave me a twin bed for her without any additional cost and without having to ask for it again. The check in is too late (3pm) and my flight arrived in the morning, I had to wait a lot to get a room... but the staff was nice and they kept my bags... I got a room that was at the front part of the hotel and it was noisy. Get the rooms at the back, the view is much better. The hotel is in a nice area... good breakfast. It’s ok.

I love this hotel, with a great location and a great view. Patricio at the reception was super friendly and very helpful. The staff was amazing..rooms spacious and the restaurant inside had super good food. I had a great time there and I will I highly recommend this hotel to anyone for any occasion.

Staff was helpful. Requested a room with a view and was given a view of a large roof. Fridge did not work even though a repair person worked on it.

Always stay here - it has a nice breakfast, comfortable rooms. The rooms in the seventh floor have a n amazing view.

Great place to stay after a long flight

Our room was just what we were expecting. Breakfast was very good with a great service from Ronald, Jose and Andres. We used the sauna service and the staff were really helpful. Thanks to you all for making our stay enjoyable.

Nice view from the hotel room and the restaurant.

We like the service and the breakfast which was included in the hotel room price. We had excellent view from the room to the mountains. The only problem we had was with the other hotel guests making noise in the hall at midnight. They were closing and opening their bedroom door and talking very loudly. It is not the hotel's fault but the other people's who stayed at the hotel.
