Right in the heart of Roma/Roma Norte. Lots of excellent restaurants/cafes/coffeehouses within walking distance. We walked to many of Mexico City's attractions from the hotel. Property was very clean and staff was super helpful...hallways were a little noisy at times but really not a big deal. The property was great value for the price and I would stay there again.
The property is centrally located. The maintenance of this property is less than desirable. It needs improvements in the rooms. Many accessories were getting old.
Great staff and convenient location.
Friendly staff
The hotel looks very different from the photos; it’s a bit old, but the service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.
Me encantó por la proximidad a varios hospitales y clínicas. Tuve una cirugía a tres cuadras de ahí y realmente me fascinó por que no tenía que lidiar con Uber o taxi.
Have stayed several times at this hotel. Good value for the cost. Hotel hall noise can be quite loud when hotel is busy. Room to room noise ..unless TV or music loud…isnt bad. But loud conversations…door slamming..in hallways can be quite disturbing. But to be fair…that seems to to be quite often the case in many …even upscale Mexico City hotels. Beds quite comfortable…..pillows are very hard, but softer ones were available when I asked for them. But all in all..this is my go to hotel when I make my several trips a year trips to Mexico City.
I always stay here when I come to Mexico City. It is situated at the heart of Roma Norte on possibly the best and most lively street for bars and restaurants, and is incredibly reasonably priced.
Have been staying here for over 15 years. It’s located in the Colonia Roma. So much history, beautiful boulevards and so many dining options. The staff all around are the best! Always available to answer any question or request.

Excelente ubicación
it was nice
Great staff. Was a great stay
Inexpensive hotel with a great location
This hotel is a, You get what you pay for kinda place. This is an older hotel, but the location is great. I always felt safe walking solo in the area due to many dining experiences, from fine dining to taco stands.
The location of the hotel was great! Although the facility is not up to date but the staff was very nice and helpful.
Great location, great staff, especially the daily cleaning
Hotel staff, restaurant, and bar are excellent. Our room was clean and no problems with the AC and water. The only minor issue was wifi was slow, but this problem seems to plague the entire city. I would choose this hotel again.
The location of the hotel was great! The facility itself was a bit outdated but staff was nice, location is great and it’s in a good area.
The only thing i didn’t liked about this hotel was that they don’t have an iron in the room other then that it’s a good hotel.
Perfect combo of location and comfort
Stayed here with my mother for four nights and we both loved this hotel...the staff is very friendly, the restaurant is very good and the location is perfect. I would gladly recommend the Hotel Stanza for anyone visiting Mexico City
Great staff and excellent area
Really poor wifi Rundown hotel Good location Friendly staff
This was a great property. It was close to everything and walkable. Very safe. We spent most of our time at Roma Norte this place was close to all of it. Highly recommended. The hotel room was a little old but I would pick this again based on the location.
The hotel staff was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I missed my flight and they were happy to help me rebook the flight. Very courteous staff. Buffet was excellent.
Great
Very friendly staff, easy check in. Nice area with lots of dining options all over. It's also very nearby Jardin Pushkin station on the Metrobus and the Alvaro Obregón station. Some of the streets are kinda dark at night but that's not the hotel's fault.
The room was very clean and service crew is fantastic listening and completing my requests. The breakfast buffet and crew was also great. Thank you.
Very friendly staff felt welcomed approaching hotel . Only thing wish there was more of was outlets. Overall clean good service .
What a gem of a hotel Stanza! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment. Convenient location and walkable distance to restaurants, cafes, metro bus. I highly recommended. Will definitely be returning.
Convebient and walkable area. The hotel is dated, and the beds are small.
convenient and safe
Good location, close to dining. The bakery across the street was especially good.
Very helpful staff!
Disappointment
I've stayed at this hotel twice, the first time a year ago was incredible and that is why I returned, but this time I've a complaint, during the six nights of my stay we were never able to level the shower, or it came out burning or cold. For my next trip to Mexico City I'll look for another hotel!
Todo bien
Great short stay!
Will stay here again!
It was excellent. Great location, comfortable room, friendly staff.
As an American it was a very nice and convenient place to stay
Staff ver helpful.
Overall a great place to stay. Other guests there can make quite a bit of noise in hallways….but will stay there again. Have had 4 stays there and all were more than satisfactory. Felt safe in the area and with short walking distances many choices of restaurants.
Good location, decent value
The rooms here are slightly above average but what you are paying for is the location. Very close to Roma and condessa and lots of galleries, museums and restaurants. The staff is very helpful and kind. The hotel could use some renovation but is acceptable and quiet.
The l9cation is very nice. The Avenue Alvsro Obregon is very important and the colonoa Roma is a classic neighbourhood.
Un hotel confortable, el personal es muy amable
.
I like everything about this Hotel 🏨 I really recommend to stay with them. We stay for 9 days.
You have to stay here, I love the hotel, the staff, the area. The price 🙈
Good price value option
Great stay all around.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful! Very quiet hotel, very walkable and fun neighborhood!
Great time in Mexico City
Great staff and great restaurant attached to the hotel. Bed was a full not a queen, a little tight, however we made the most of it.
Buen alojamiento
Buen servicio y atencion
Good helpful staff. property needs some repairs, shower faucets are loose, loose hallway flooring tiles needs repair. Overall conditions are good but needs some ongoining maintenance monitoring!
Clean rooms. Staff are friendly and professional. The location is very nice and trendy.
Short CDMX visit
I have stayed at this property in the past and it continues to be a good choice.
The staff at this hotel was absolutely wonderful and the room was very clean. Our only complaint was that the shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot and the temperature would change randomly while in use.
Great location
Hotel Stanza is in an ideal location for exploring Mexico City. We felt very safe strolling around at night. The staff was professional and our room was nicely cleaned each day.
Good place to stay
Es muy centrico y conveniente, el área es muy tranquila y hay muchos restaurantes y opciones para todos los gustos y preferencias
This hotel is kept very clean, staff friendly and the location is excellent. Everyone was helpful in helping me get around the city safely.
I stayed at the Hotel Stanza for four nights in March. My experience was great in all respects. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The area has a lot of cafes and restaurants for fine dining as well. Safe and easy to walk anywhere in Roma Norte, La Cadenza, historical Center and around.
Great view over pushkin park
Service was perfect.
Love it. I recommend it.
It’s not worth it. I’m not a complainer usually but this hotel is old and not well maintained for such a beautiful city. My room was stinky , bathroom moldy. The one good thing from this hotel is the location. In the area I’m sure there’s much better choices. I don’t suggest I’m glad I only stayed one night.
Tourissto
Hotal placed near the park and near the Laguninya marketplace, museum and etc. If you stay there, in the evening possible to play music in the park.
feb mid-month 2024
nice hotel, enjoyed our stay. The only glitches are the lack of a small mini-fridge in the room for cold drinks later; and there was some loud sporadic construction project going on immediately next door or on a higher floor on some afternoons. Otherwise great stay!
Have stayed here many times. My number one choice of hotel.
Anytime I’m in Mexico City, was stay at the Hotel Stanza It’s always a wonderful experience
This place is great!! The only downfall was some noises I’m the middle of the night. Not sure if it was crew or guests. You don’t get an iron you have to go to the iron room and there’s no ice machine. Other than the it was great. I would definitely stay again. It’s actually my second time staying here
Staff was great. The hotel location was good but a bit noise.
Excellent location with a fair price and great service. I stay in Mexico City often and this is a great choice for the cost conscious traveler.
Our go-to hotel in CDMX
We like this hotel. Very comfortable, good restaurant for breakfast. Clean. Great location. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
The best thing of the hotel are the cleaning ladies, They are nice and attentive. You can heard any outside noise when you are in the room even a cough from a person in the other room. The servers at the restaurant are so lazy and careless. Front desk workers are okay. Hard to have a good night sleep because you can heard everything.
Good place ro stay!!
The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Specially Daniel the bellbottom. The room was very basic for the price but clean. The neighborhood is very secure close to many places.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall everything was wonderful except for the water pressure.
Great value, great location and excellent staff!
Will Return if back in Mexico City
The check in was nice and smooth. The rooms were clean and spacious (king suite). The security check making sure who is going into the building is nice too. Overall a great hotel.
Great hotel in safe central area.
It was a very beautiful and cozy hotel for the price. Friendly and helpful staff in uniform. It was very safe and in walking distance to many attractions.
The staff is amazing and honest , forgot passport with money inside it and they returned everything intact .
Great property in the heart of Roma Norte. Just a little cold in the rooms no heat. Staff and management where excellent especially the cleaning staff.
El hotel siempre nos gusta pero tienen que cambiar las almohadas. Son horribles.
Fun area
Location was superb. Reasonable price
I’d book again
The service was great and the housekeepers did an amazing job every time they serviced the room.
Good hotel in great location
Great location, felt safe and easy walk to nearest Metro station. Lots of cafes, restaurants close by. Very helpful and informative staff and felt it was a good choice for us on our first visit to Mexico City. The buffet breakfast was excellent and was served until 1pm. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was also very good.
Property was clean, centrally located. But we did have an issue when we arrived to the hotel. The reservation was paid and confirmed before arrival. The 3 rooms we were given were not clean.
Great location, very friendly staff. Right in the heart of all the good stuff in Roma Norte. This was my second stay here and, while surely there are fancier hotels around… this place has heart and it’s my go to.
Very Pleased with our experience, Nice, Clean, Confortable, Convenient, Quiet. Highly Recommended. Oh Check In is at Three and its a busy Hotel so no early Check In but They Safely Held Our Luggage while we went out.
Very clean and excellent staff
Great location, that's it. Not a 4 star hotel, not by a long shot.
Everything was good!
Very clean...room very comfortable...reasonable price...
Okay stay
I booked the King room, which was very spacious. The first room had plumbing issues (toilet water would rise whenever I tried flushing, and the water in the shower drained very slowly. Every night I was stepping in 1-2 inches of water). I switched to another room, which was better, but then I found a booger on the bed sheet which grossed me out. But the maid was friendly and restocked my room with water and towels.
La ubicación es muy centrica, las habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas y a muy buen precio
I had two reservations one for me the other one for my son and wife the first room they got was smelley and when we complained they didn’t do anything about it sometimes the main desk attendants aren’t the friendliest. It took two days of complaining in order to get a new room
Here are my pros and cons of our stay at Stanza hotel. Cons 1. A bit too loud. Had trouble sleeping the first night due to how you can hear everything. Blow dryers from other rooms, conversations and footsteps in the hallway, and traffic outside. 2. Room is very basic. Small sink. No fridge, no microwave. More importantly for me, no iron board or iron in the room. Had to walk up to the 8th floor to iron my clothes there. 3. A bit outdated on the outside and inside. Pros 1. Very friendly and helpful staff. 2. Clean. 3. The location around the hotel is very nice and very safe. Wife and I never felt in danger outside the hotel. There are PLENTY of restaurants to eat/drink at all times of the day. Pharmacy a block away. Convenience store accross the street. Best Churros in the world accross the street as well. Overall our stay was great! Yes, the hotel looks a bit outdated from the outside and could use some renovations but it was at a great price and it serves its purpose. Best thing overall is the location hands down. Even Uber drivers would tell us that we were in a very good zone.
Not a 5-star hotel, but a 5-star in staff professionalism, location, and convenience. A little noisy inside of room, particularly because of all wood floors, but better than being carpeted. Would definitely stay again.
Average hotel
The hotel room smells horrible and the shower isn't great. Our room key doesn't work and we had to activate it at the front desk every time...Nice location but i think theres better options out there
Very loud in hallways. Not carpet perhaps.
Location is great
Really good location in Roma Norte close to the metro, buses and all the cafes and restaurants in Roma. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the staff are helpful and kind. Was surprised the room had no mini fridge.
