I had a tremendous time at the square. Definitely is going to be my place of residence when I’m in paris
Perfect location! Beautiful room and service is next level
Olympic Stay
First time in Paris for the Olympics. Small hotel with very friendly staff. We extended our stay and the hotel accommodated us. Stayed in a classic room for a few days then upgraded to the loft. Both were clean and comfortable. A little distance but we walked to the Effiel Tower a few times. Overall great stay.
Very good hotel
Awful. Room we received was not the room advertised. They denied this. It was very expensive and the quality was the same as a £100 per night hotel. The TV didn't work, the heating/aircon didn't work, I was given a downgraded room, but still paid full price. Staff unwilling to help. Zero character. Booked for our honeymoon and this ruined it.
Thumbs up
Spacious and clean room, staff was attentive when extras needed. Nespresso machine :) Easy walk to Eiffel tower & subway.
This property was ok; not great. The staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to find out credit card that my husband left in the room 🙄 and help us get it back quickly. The property was my issue. The train station that appears the closest on the map is a regional train and not the metro that’s best for sightseeing. I never would’ve booked this place if I knew it was a 10 minute walk to the metro. My biggest issue is the lack of shower in the room. It’s a bathtub with a handheld shower nozzle, but no shower curtain! It’s impossible to use without getting water everywhere. And they do not give extra towels to help with the mess. So we ended having to sit down to control the water and then it was difficult to get up out of the bathtub without slipping. This is also when you see all the mold in the caulk around the edge of the bathtub. Even weirder, the toilet is in a separate room but doesn’t have a sink in there with it, so you have to walk all through your room touching door knobs and such without washing your hands.
Hotel Square is not a 5 star hotel, a decent 3 star maybe? It’s dated, the room was dirty, no shower (just a hand held shower head), & no air conditioning. Attempted to explain my concerns on check out but the receptionist was more concerned that we hadn’t emptied the mini bar. One stay is enough.
Staff was very attentive, respectful, and nice. Place was convenient to the RER/Metro stations. 15 min walk to Eiffel Tower and 15 mins to their mall. Recommended to stay. Only knock was a lot of traffic in evening, workers / delivering all night. Outside of that this place was amazing.
Very clean and room was surprisingly spacious with comfortable bed. The hotel staff was very attentive and friendly and helped to get us dinner reservations and sightseeing directions.
Nice hotel in great location
Good location and friendly staff. Charging for early check in irks a bit
Good location next to the Eiffel Tower as was our first time in Paris. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel itself is very clean and nicely presented. Couple of snags in the room like a looks light fixture and door handle but otherwise very nice stay.
Lovely hotel and brilliant location!
We stayed here for my partners 40th birthday and also our 2nd wedding anniversary! The hotel was in a very good location and close to a mall (which is always handy). The hotel staff were very friendly and we overall had a lovely stay. Overall the location was perfect with a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and amazing views over the bridge which overlooks the river.
We selected the Square as a new option for us because our well known hotels were closed. 5 stars...really? Small dark room, old furniture, someone has moved something all the night (room should be soundproof)...but you can go over, because hotel in Paris isn’t the most important part. But the way how bar staff have treated us when we asked for glass of wine on terrace at 22.55? No chance, have to close at 23. Unfortunately we had our room above the terrace so we saw how they serve newcomers around 23.30 and closed at midnight...evidently tourists aren’t priority. Generally one of the best visit in Paris regarding quite and positive atmosphere all around...only the Square never more.
We arrived two hours before the check-up, but the lady helped us to check before, it was a very good gesture from them, they were very kind. I think he would come back again. Too bad I forgot all my cell phone accessories. my fault.
Staff was extremely nice. Hotel was super clean and modern, nice decor and very comfortable. Good size room for Paris as well. Just a weird shower situation.
1) Great Location 2) Great staff (Especially Melina) 3) Slow wifi 4) So so Food 5) Overall for it’s price and location I would come back.
So close to everything and local restaurant where amazing also you can just walk to Eiffel
The room was gorgeous and the location was amazing. We loved the giant marble bathroom and tub. We did have a small hiccup with a water turn off notice that left us without water in the hotel 8am-5pm on Monday. Although an inconvenience not a trip ruiner by any means. The staff was so gracious and knew us by name by the end the week. The hotel restaurant was so crowded we weren’t able to eat there due to lack of reservations during the week. Would definitely stay there again!
Terrible experience. Room was way too dark. Bathroom was nice but
The stay was comfortable and the bathroom was absolutely gorg but One gentleman in particular wasnt the friendliest. All power to the room was lost twice and noises from above me were a little disturbing. Lovely room though
Decent option: nice area
Very nice.
Very nice, but quirky
Such a nice hotel, but there are some quirks about it. Rooms are very clean, and very quiet, modern, beds are comfortable, great location near the Eiffel Tower and transit, and lots of nice restaurants and stores nearby. Here's what's odd. 1. I have a tub with handheld shower and there's a place to hold the shower handle so you can stand up, but no shower curtain, so you have to sit in the tub and shower or take a full bath. It's just plain awkward. 2. the toilet is in a separate room around the corner from the sink and tub, so you have to walk around the corner to wash your hands (would be gross if more than one person using the room). 3. no coffee maker or even an electric teakettle. Very inconvenient for the jet-lagged! 4. housekeeping didn't turn up, but was very quick when I asked the front desk to resolve (wouldn't have mattered but I had room service dishes to pick up). 5. staff started unlocking my room to enter without knocking (turned out they were going to the wrong room, and they were very apologetic). Thankfully, I was dressed!
Not a 5 star hotel
The toilette had a water leak on the floor constant during our 8 day stay. We reported it since the second day we arrived, it was never fixed. We requested to have another room, it was only offered one day before leaving.
The property is located in a great area and the employees were extremely helpful. There are many wonderful restaurants and shops nearby. It is also easy to walk or take a taxi to other popular locations. I would definitely choose to stay there again.
Great central location. Close to eiffel tower and has lots of cafes and mini supermarkets close.
This is the second time I stay in this property. I must say that the staff is disastrous, they barely speak French/English. The ACs in the room barely work so do not book this hotel in the summer!
Great hotel
Brilliant hotel, really friendly staff, very comfortable
Nice, but noisy street
Too noisy. The hotel is located off of a busy intersection where cars, ambulances and motorbikes cross through all night.
Meh
The room was extra dusty and musty smelling and ended up making me sick. Everyday I would be fine and then would wake up from the night and have dust allergies...
the best in paris
tres beau sejour merci
Wasn’t aware of the 50 euro deposit that was taken out of my card as I checked into my hotel. Seems unecessary.
Pleasant stay
Pleasant stay although this is not really a 5 star hotel more an alright 4 star. Room was comfortable, location is about 15 mins walk to Effiel Tower and well located for PSG stadium or the Tennis at Roland Garros. Miguel on reception was very helpful although not all the staff were of 5 star expected standard. Food at restaurant was very good although expect high Paris prices! Alright option although if staying for a sightseeing weekend you might be better somewhere a little more central.
Very nice and convenient hotel, close enough to local attrcatctipns without being in the middle of them, which means the area is quieter. There is a taxi rank 20 meters away so everything is within easy reach. The hotel has its own secure indoor parking with wide spaces. Breakfast is of high quality and at reasonable prices for Paris. Staff is very good and welcoming all around, in particular Céline at breakfast who made the start of every day that much more enjoyable through her friendliness and quality of service. Definitely a hotel to go back to time and again.
Expensive hotel that requires some maintenance and freshening up to make it worthy of the charge.
Great boutique hotel a bit out of the way from the hustle and bustle but so convenient to everything. Our second stay and we will be back. Awesome staff! Love the fact that we can be anywhere in a few m8nutes by a metro yet be out of all the crowds.
Very good location for Paris. Comfortable room. Not so good Room Service.
A small hotel with great location. It was very easy to check in and they even booked cars to and from the airport for us. Very accommodating!
We paid too much money to get a five star service we did not get even three star hotel service staff is unhelpful they always say there is nothing we could do we had two rooms they were not clean the way we expect them house keeping is very poor and do not provide good service they were not Cleanning our room when we asked for the room to be cleaned after the fifth time they told us they cannot clean as the lady is out sick and it is 10 pm and there is no one available to clean we have been asking for the room to be cleaned since the morning and we saw the house keeping cart on the hall way even if someone called sick they only have one person to serve the whole entire hotel front drake told me there is nothing they can do to help us I ask for a manager he told me he is the manager and there is nothing he could do to help out this is so terrible
Great location, close to Eiffel Tower
A stylish, small hotel with good sized rooms and plenty of comforts. Great location, near the Seine and Eiffel Tower and also close to some lovely bistros.
Just the hotel we needed to stay in Paris
We loved the hotel We will book it again when in Paris
Hotel near Eiffel Tower
Small, boutique hotel a block from the Seine River and very close to Eiffel Tower (walkable). Room very comfortable and clean. Staff were outstanding.
This was a great location for us. We were going to Roland Garros and walked to the event each day. It was also close enough that we biked to the famous sites around town and could easily find our way back, due to being so close to the river. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the room was bigger than I expected. The air condition was very good, we like the room very cold. Our baggage was delayed but there is a mall just across the river so it was easy to buy replacement stuff. There are restaurants, a supermarket and a taxi stand, all very close. The location is also very close to where our Versailles tour met, at Juvel station, which was only 25 minutes by train. The one things that I didn't care for was no shower curtain.
Close to restaurants, transportation, and competent English-speaking staff.
Great hotel. Working on restaurant below and was a little loud. Great staff, reallly nice room and very close to eiffel. All in all will go back to this great hotel.
A nice find in Paris
This hotel is a bit out of the main tourist area but still convenient to the Eiffel Tower, just a 20 minute stroll along the Isle of Swans. Lots of local cafes, boulangeries, etc - people actually live in this area as well as visit! - and a short walk to some good museums not normally on the schedule. The Musée Marmottan Monet at 2, rue Louis Boilly is particularly good. The room was spacious by Parisien standards, and the elevators have these sensors so you don't actually press a button, it knows that you're there and arrives automatically! A bit weird at first but quite cool when you get used to it. The restaurant was closed for renovations but I expect it will be good when it's finished - it's that sort of place. A nice find.
Nice hotel and very well located in Paris
The Square Hotel is very well located if you want to be a little bit far from the touristic areas of Paris. It is located in a quite area with all external amenities one may need during a vacation stay in Paris. There are two metro stations in the surround area, but a little bit far for those with locomotion problem. Another solution of locomotion is by train or bus, whose stations are very close to the hotel. The hotel is clean, staff is very well trained and the ambiance is relaxed. One may discuss if it is really a 5 star hotel, since the overall amenities of the room are a little bit below a 5 star guest expectations.
Paris marathon base 😀
The restaurant was being revamped at time of our stay but plenty of options with 1/2 mile. Small supermarket next door. Booked as a base for the marathon Passy metro 4 stops from the start 😀 no hassle. Good size rooms, helpful staff, king size bed, quite despite being next to a road,i wouldn’t have a reason not to recommend, overall very good, nearest metro 200 yards
Excellent staff, very helpful, caring! Great hotel
Everything was perfect! The only issue was that it was a little bit noisy from the street traffic outside.
Good location for Eiffel Tower and metros
Me and my partner celebrated her 30th birthday here and the staff couldn’t do more to make the stay special. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. The style is modern which we liked and it is close to restaurants and a food shop next door, I’d compare to a Tesco express. Takes about 15min to walk to Eiffel Tower sling the swine, feels less as it’s always in view. Closest metro is about 10minute walk and there is a taxi rank literally outside hotel, though the staff in the hotel will sort all the requests we had and are extremely helpful.
the hotel is very dated, rooms are dark and they don't have showers but only bath tub. breakfast is not included and it was 30 euros. bottle of water in the fridge is 8 Euros.
Great location
Would definitely recommend this hotel - staff extremely polite - we were given an upgrade to our room and a free meal with champagne and the hotel. Great experience! Only 1 tiny tiny negative room was perfect but there was a lot of dust around the room! Would highly recommend this hotel without a doubt
Nice hotel.
Good location, quiet and safe, only 5-10 minutes’ walk to the train station, and about 20 minutes’ very nice walk to Eiffel Tower along the river seine. Supermarket is only next door and post office and local market are at the street behind. The room is not as big as advertise but very comfortable, the staffs are professional and nice, they told me all information I need. I had a good stay and would recommend Hotel square to other visitors.
We love this hotel!
First, both Marie and Godfried were an amazing concierge duo. They worked with us when our plane travel became complicated. They helped us with reservations at restaurants and tickets for Crazy Horse. And most importantly, they were incredibly forgiving to my admittedly horrible French. Regarding the hotel itself, the room was great! Perfect comfortable size for my wife and I. The bed was suuuuuuper comfy. So comfy I wouldn't have minded losing a full day just laying in it. Ample dresser and closet space to organize our belongings for a week's stay. And the water pressure made it so I didn't want to step out of the tub. The locale was perfect! Close to the Eiffel Tower, small walking distance to a few metro stations, awesome neighborhood with great cafés near by and with abundant shopping just over the bridge. If we ever go back to Paris, we definitely plan to stay at Hotel Square again!
Great boutique Hotel close to Eiffel Tower
Great hotel close to Eiffel Tower. Great size rooms staff super friendly and helpful. Close to metro fir easy transport around def stay again
Wonderful experience. The location is great. Staff was very helpful.
Horrible Hotel
We paid for our 3 nights in full. The hotel took our money. However, when we got to the hotel that evening, we were informed that there were no more rooms despite our confirmed fully paid reservation. To make things worse the front desk person didn't even get up from his seat to help. He just kept repeating in French and English that there were no rooms even if he had our reservation confirmed. He didn't try to find us a room at any other hotel. When this situation happens in America, the hotels rebook you at an similar or better rated alternate hotel. We were left to literally walk around Paris to find our own hotel at midnight during the busiest weeks in Paris bc of an air show. I have 2 kids one of them is special needs. Not only is there lack of customer service but lack of humanity at his hotel. He didn't ever get up from his chair to support or try to help. We literally had to walk and drive around between midnight to 2 am looking for a room. Unacceptable. Do not stay here!
Perfect location, excuisit style and modern artsy feel. I would come back here every time I'm in Paris!!
Lovely hotel. Brilliant location
What a gem of a hotel. It's so close to the metro and train station. Close to all the main attractions. We were able to get around very easily even with an 8month old in two. We'd stay here again
Amazing location, gorgeous boutique hotel.
From the moment of arrival the hotel staff could not do more for you, the staff we met were so friendly and there for any need of ours. Restaurant amazing. Room was perfect and always clean due to the daily maid service. Overall our stay was perfect and would highly recommend.
Amazing.
Clean cozy
Everything was great staff was very helpful gave us directions from Eurostar location to the hotel great suggestions on restaurants which were within walking distance
Couple stay for Christmas
We recently stayed at the Hotel Square through out the Christmas period and we honestly couldn't of chosen a better hotel, for comfort and to the location. We stayed in a classic room, the room was spacious, perfectly clean and the sound proofing was a god send for people who live in extremely quiet areas as us. The hotel is great distance from everywhere and a bonus is there is a cycle point right outside which makes it so easy to sightsee! It took around 15 minutes to the Eiffel Tower and 80minutes to NotraDame. We decided to not eat at the hotel as we felt €35pp for breakfast was a little steep! However we did see the food and it looked exquisite. We honestly cannot thank all the staff at the hotel, they couldn't have been more helpful, all request were not all only met but done within less than 20 minutes (including putting a DVD player in our room for Christmas Day) We have recommended this hotel to many of our friends and intend to visit again when we return to Paris. Thankyou for making our Christmas so special.
The Hotel Square is a wonderful boutique hotel that is elegant and beautiful, it truly enhances a magical city like Paris. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Their suggestions for a coffee a drink or a meal are spot on, and their service excellent as well.
Lovely hotel
Enjoyed my stay. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Would stay there again
perfect, if a little dark in the rooms.
Recommended stay in Paris
The staff was very friendly and the facilities were clean. Our room had a wonderful marble bathtub that was a welcome luxury after a long day of sight seeing.
Definitely would stay here again
Overall, its really nice and the location is amazing.
Clean and a great staff!!
Amazing stay with the best service.
Very Nice Hotel but few things to take care of
Nice hotel and near metro and bus stations Rooms are very well decorated ... Friendly staff at reception
I can not begin to express my respect for this hotel and its staff. It was perfect in all ways.
Great hotel only 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower
Very quiet, nice size room, beautiful marble bathroom. Staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to our requests. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends and family. Nice overall style and really like the small hotel atmosphere.
Nice place
Very nice with a very friendly staff
Small boutique hotel.
Exceptional staff and great hotel. Not far from metro station.
Be Square - stay at the Hotel Square in Paris !!
Had a problem. Booked a Deluxe Double room for 2 nights for 2 people, me and a friend. The room had 1 bed. Night manager handled everything very well and gave us an extra single room because they didnt have anything with 2 beds. Great !! Next morning they cancelled the extra room and moved us into a "1 bed" room. We both packed and unpacked again. I again explained to the manager that we cannot stay like that. After searching for other hotels for the 2nd night, the manager gave us a room with 2 beds that could be seperated. OK, pack and unpack for the 3rd time. Terrible experience except for the original night manager who knew how to handle and resolve problems. The day manager (Phillipe ??) was quite rude and unhelpful. He did resolve finally but after 3 pack and unpacks, and the realization that we were going to leave the hotel.
Lovely hotel within walking distance of Iffel Towe
The hotel itself was excellent. What made it for us (me & the wife) was the hotel staff. All were brilliant but one named Edward was superb. Because of this our Honeymoon was made perfect and will never be forgotten. almost forgot, the food was amazing. Thank you so so much.
Amazing Hotel!!!
Our first visit to this beautiful city, got to the hotel after a long trip from Miami to Paris. I honestly do not have anything bad to say about the hotel, on the contrary, the staff was incredibly attentive, polite, friendly, helpful, magnificent, our stay was a success here, we left extremely happy and looking forward to returning to this hotel . Surely at our next visit we will choose this hotel as it is not only well located, good price, the rooms are very nice, everything spotlessly clean Add to that the staff is superb, they help you in everything and more. Thank you for making our first trip was amazing !!!!
Perfect
Unfortunately we only stayed one night at Hotel Square. The hotel is impeccable in every respect. The hotel is well decorated; the room is well appointed and comfortable; and the service was perfect. It would be a shame not to take advantage of the comfort and luxury of this small hotel.
Great hotel
Great hotel, attentive staff. Beware that if they call you a cab it's a 25 euro charge on your bill through the cab company they work with.
Great Hotel
Great hotel!! The price was very reasonable. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and spacious, especially for Paris. The staff was excellent. I will be sure to stay there in the future.
All was great! Just needs improvement on more lighting in the room.
A nice hotel near major traffic.
The hotel itself was nice enough. The room was very spacious by Parisian standard and the bed was comfortable. Although the room was a little on the dark side. The hotel itself is otherwise fine except for two things. First, it is located near a very large and busy road right by the river. It gets very noisy. I am not one to get disturbed by noise very much. So it did not affect my sleep. If you are sensitive noise, you may want to think twice about it. Second, it is located a good 10-15 minute walk from the Metro, and uphill from the hotel at that. So I wouldn't say that the location is great. Lastly, I booked the hotel because it was advertised as a five-star hotel. It was very nice, but I would say it is more of a four and a half star hotel than five star.
Stayed two nights and the hotel was great...a small boutique hotel with personal service. Very good location at the edge of a quite residential neighborhood with good restaurants close by. Walking distance to the Metro and the central tourist areas.
Excellent location, great staff.
The location for hotel is great, walk across the bridge to the Eiffel Tower, and the mall. The staff went out of their way to help us, they made our stay comfortable. When we came down with bad colds, the staff had a Dr. Come to the room, it was a big help.
Close to the Eiffel Tower and close to taxi stop
Overall it was great, comfterable if I go into detail there was an incident where we needed to catch a flight and the hotel couldn't call for a cab we ran through the airport and it was a bit of a mess I'm sure that doesn't happen often
Can't rate the front desk staff highly enough together with porter staff......very knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble - very professional
Hotel Square was 100% satisfactory!
I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It was clean, comfortable, and the hotel facilities were fabulous! We would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone! The staff was very good! We had a perfect trip! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations and staff at Hotel Square.
Hotel Square- a gem
Loved it
Darkness In The City of Light
The friendly, pleasant and helpful staff raised our rating to 3. As for the room, it was small, dusty and dark. Very dark. Even the elevators were so dark we had to hold the door open to memorize the keypad in order to arrive at our floor. The staff were all young, thin and dressed in black from head to toe. I suppose the anemic lighting was meant to continue the with-it theme. We just aren't hip enough to enjoy stumbling around in the dark. We didn't try the restaurant as it received mediocre reviews and was quite expensive. There are many good hotels and restaurants in this upscale neighborhood. Use them and give Square a pass.
Nice
I had great time at the hotel square. They are really helpful and kind.
Lovely hotel,
Brilliant hotel, great location close to the Eiffel tower and local metro stations. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. We had a deluxe room which was lovely, when the staff see you go out for the evening and come back to a refreshed bedroom with towels and curtains shut. Very nice touch! Lovely stay at hotel square would definitely stay again!
Great hotel but restaurant a bit below
Great hotel, loved the decoration. The hotel staff was newly appointed, with a young team very motivated and dedicated to clients. We also loved the Nuxe Spa downstairs. We were clearly disappointed by the restaurant however (only one dish was flawless: the duck, lack of seasoning for most other dishes)
Service is great. Rooms are clean. Restaurant is very good. Staff goes above and beyond.
A Little Gem in Central Paris
This hotel is a find. It's boutique feel and five star service differentiates it from the chain hotels in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean. It has a modern feel which is a great contrast to the city itself. The service staff was attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. It's central location and proximity to the Louvre and other major attractions make this hotel very attractive.
Great hotel
The hotel was very nice. Great hotel, but a couple of complaints. the shower... There is no curtain and the water goes all over the floor. I complained about it, but they said that was the design. Bad answer bad design. The room service menu says hours that are not true. I believe it says until 230am. We called two nights at about 1230am and they were closed. As you know when your traveling, times are all over the place and we are on vacation. You know the drill. The staff was the nicest staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Genuine... Helpful with all. A real pleasure. This hotel was great.. Safe... I recomend this hotel 100%
Frendly staff, immaculate
Perfect stay, there are a convenience store next building and a lot os restaurants (Libanaise, Japanese, Italian, etc)
Exceptional Location
Really great. The reception/concierge staff were most pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs: there was a metro station nearby, a taxi stand across the street, great shopping in a newly built gallery nearby, close to all important tourist sites and for our specific purposes on the same block as a kosher restaurant and a well stocked grocery store.
excellent friendly hotel
hotel staff and management could not have been more helpful to me and my partner excellent service breakfast was delicious but a bit expensive downside was that nearest metro was 10 mins walk away although there was a RER station nearby which did help overall i would highly recommend this hotel!
Highly recommended
Went her with my girlfriend to celebrate our 2years. The staff was great, the place was great, the room was awesome and very comfy...could not really ask for a better place to stay! Hope to come again!
Nice
