Very nice hotel overall, nice staff

Stayed in one of the "updated rooms". Had a great view and the hotel was ideally located a quick walk restaurants/ lake access. Main downside was that the property was looking a little tired (even in one of the updated rooms).

Beautiful area, wonderful view from the balcony. Very good breakfast.

Although we enjoyed our stay you definitely pay for the view and not the interior. The room was clean but dated, had to ask for the AC to be put back on (which they did) but was not good. The WiFi didn’t work on first evening, reported and they could only mend in the morning which they did. Was offered to move room in the morning but it was just okay for my husband to work so stayed. Overall the view was incredible but would look elsewhere to stay next time.

Great place for holidays. Hotel is based in perfect location, next to the center like 2 minutes but really quite because of that. Outstanding view from the hotel. A lot of food for breakfast. Clean and nice pool

We stayed in the suite with panoramic views. It was amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. Waking up to the view of the lake, the whirlpool, bathtub and shower. The bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The room was decorated to a high standard. The only suggestion I have is that the aircon didn't work properly. It wasn't overly warm so it wasn't a problem but if it had been warmer I would have been uncomfortable. Also, the wi-fi does not reach the room - for the price paid, I would expect that as a minimum. Walking through the hotel, and looking at some of the pictures on the website, most of the other rooms are all dated and I feel would benefit from being updated. The breakfast was simple and had a good variety. I would recommend a bigger outdoor seating space as there were only aa few spaces. The staff were lovely. They were pleasant and ready to help.

Great Hotel and Exceptional Staff

Hotel is beautifully located and staff are extremely courteous with remarkable linguistic talents (German, Italian, English spoken fluently by all staff members we encountered). Phenomenal views from both room balcony and the restaurant/bar terrace. Food was top par and bar variety was great. Our only faults we found were that your room is equipped with a safe but you have to pay €1 per day for the key to use it and WiFi is also charged at €1 per device per day and is exceptionally slow. We stayed here for 8 Nights in July and had a fantastic holiday.

Excellent position within easy walking distance of Limone We didn't like the mealtime arrangements. Buffet arrangements are ok but if a time for service (eg, 0800 to 1000 for breakfast) is advertised, that is what they should do. The end times are the times that the staff walk out. No new food is brought in for quite some time before. So if you turn up in the last half an hour - which you should be perfectly entitled to do - there will be hardly anything to eat and what there is will not be fresh Also, if paying these rates it's not right to then charge extra to use the room safe, extra for wifi, extra to use the bathrobe, extra, extra, extra.

Short break in limone

Great hotel with friendly and attentive staff

The time we spent at the Splendid Palace was wonderful, we went for our honeymoon. The staff was very helpful as we weren’t familiar with the environment, the area nor the language. They helped us book a trip to Venice which was great as well. The only thing we had a problem with was getting the WiFi to work in our room, it worked well at the top main floor but not in the 8th floor where our room was located. We were originally agreed to pay a 1 euro per day for each device for WiFi, it only worked the first day and the days after that it didn’t. After we notified the front counter they said they would work on it but still didn’t work the following days. So on the day before our departure we were told they would not charge us for it. Other than that everything was perfect, breakfast and dinner buffets are big and have a lot of variety. We would definitely come back to this place!

Everything was super. The hotel is clean and beautifull. Staff is friendly. We didn't like the room we got and they have found another onr for us with beautiful view. Thank you! Hope to come here back.

A room with a view

We stayed 7 days at the hotel Splendid Palace with a fantastic view from our room overlooking Limone. Though the bedrooms are a little tired the beds were extremely comfortable and our stay was more than made up by the excellent service provided by the staff and the food was fantastic. Just a short stroll into the town ( 5 mins) and the boat landing stage. The 4pm coffee and cake hour was a nice touch also. Really could not fault our stay and would book again if we stayed in the same area.

Indoor Pool Modernisierung evtl. überdenken. Der rest ist wunderbar. Super Location, super view, sehr sauber und super Personal.

Aussicht und Lage sind sehr schön. Hatte ein Einzelzimmer, sehr klein und kleines Bett. Badezimmer ist renorvierungsbedürftig. In 5 Minuten im Zentrum von Limone.

Generalt et fint holtel med super beliggenhed. God service og hjælpsomt personale Hotellet fremstår lidt slidt.

Bra hotell, men inte topp 10

Bra service och hyfsat fräscha rum även om de bara delvis känns som 4-stjärnigt. Restaurangen kändes väldigt steril och mer matsalslik.

Perfekt beliggenhed

Meget pænt og lækkert hotel. Ligger perfekt til traveture ned til byen Limone. Strand ligger i gå afstand.

Posizione dell'hotel "splendida". Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Terrazzino della stanza impagabile. Stanza un po' piccola, ma confortevole. Bagno così così (doccia di dimensioni ridotte, niente bidet : la spesa per notte e prima colazione avrebbe meritato una salle de bain all'altezza!).

Lange Wege im Hotel. Schöner Ausblick

Die Orientierung innerhalb des Hotel war am Anfang schwierig. Es dürften wohl zwei Hotels zu einem vereint worden sein. Die Wege im Hotel sind etwas lang. Sonst alles ok. Wunderbarer Ausblick vom Balkon.

Gran decepción. NO ES UN 4 ESTRELLAS, ni de lejos

No se corresponde el precio de la habitación con la categoría del hotel. NO ES UN 4 ESTRELLAS. Anticuado, ruidoso, mal decorado. En definitiva una gran decepción. Se salvan las vistas y la proximidad al pueblo, pero por lo que vi lo deben tener otros hoteles de la zona sin tantos inconvenientes.

Magnifique uitzicht, heerlijk zwembad met genoeg ligbedden. Heel vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk ontbijt! Enige minpuntje was de grootte van de douchecabine. Mijn man is 2 meter en pastte niet in de cabine. De doucheruimte is echter groot genoeg om daar verbetering in aan te brengen dmv een grotere cabine te maken.

Tolle Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Hotel. Wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Prima hotel. Wel even rijden naar mooie plaatsen zoals Salo (10 km). Als je een rustige plek zoekt dan is dit een goede keuze. Dorp op loopafstand met alles wat je nodig hebt.

Mir hat nicjtngefallen die kleinen bäder.dir dusche ist echt winzig. Tresor war kosten Pflichtig leider. Wwnn man das Abendessen nur mal im Hotel essen möchte ist das leider sehr sehr teuer. Ist Buffet aber 50€ für 2 Personen ost axhon sehr teuer. Wir waren jeden abend bis auf einmal auserhalb esswn und kamen nie mkt Trinkgeld über 45€ inkl getränke. Das Personla über freundlich und sehr nett.

det er et godt hotel,vi havde et dejligt værelse med udsigt, Limone er en skøn by. direkte adgang til byen, og stranden fra hotellet, dejlig morgenmad, både indendørs og udendørs pool. det er anden gang vi har boet her, og det erikke sidste gang.

Alt for dyr hotel og alt for slidt

1 uge på dette hotel må sige at være slidt og gammelt det trænger til at blive lavet mange steder og parkering er dårlig næsten ikke plads. Samt bliver der givet lov til at ryge der selv om det er et ikke ryger hotel pool er slidt og spa fungere ikke nej dette hotel er IKKE 4 stjerner det er nok 1 eller 2 stjerner maden er ikke noget være at skrive om jeg må sige vi er skuffet

Middelmådigt og ikke specielt børnevenligt

Hotellet er ikke specielt børnevenligt. Vi følte os til tider ikke særlig velkomne med 2 små børn. Poolområdet er ikke tilstrækkeligt for antallet er gæster, der ønsker en plads der. Plastik stole og clubsandwich som det mest interessante på menukorten, er også noget skrabet til et 4 stjerners hotel til den pris. Gæsterne er den type, der lægger håndklædet ud inden morgenmaden, og så nødvendigvis ikke dukker op før til eftermiddag. Personalet ser ikke ud til at have meget at smile af, og gør det faktisk heller ikke (dog undtagen rengøringsdamen, der udover smil og overskud også udførte sit job perfekt). Alt i alt et meget middelmådigt hotel, der hovedsageligt får en anstændig rating på grund af rengøringspersonalet.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar, man ist wirklich zu Fuß in 3 Minuten in Limone Altstadt. Außerdem bietet das Hotel einen Wahnsinns Blick auf den See und Limone. Frühstück war okay, typisches Hotel Frühstück eben, schade fanden wir, dass die Terrasse, um draußen zu frühstücken, sehr klein ist und es somit ein Glücksspiel ist, ob man mit tollem Blick draußen essen kann oder drinnen im Speisesaal, was etwas Mensa Flair hat. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, kann man nicht meckern. Das Personal am Pool oder in der Hotelbar jedoch wirkte, als hätten sie wenig Lust auf Gäste… schade! Da geht wirklich mehr in Sachen Service. Wir hatten ein Comfort Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Unser Zimmer (und ich weiß nicht ob das bei allen so ist) war nicht im Hauptgebäude sondern in einer zugehörigen Villa nebenan. Der Fußweg von der Rezeption / Bar / Frühstück ist wirklich ne kleine Odysee durchs Hotel. Wer das nicht will, sollte darauf achten im Hauptgebäude zu sein. Zimmer war aber sehr schön, sauber und toller Balkon mit super Blick auf Limone. Nicht so toll war, war dass es sehr hellhörig war. Man ist schon mal früher wach, wenn sie sich links unterhalten (hört man alles) und rechts in der Dusche gesungen wird… ohne Ohrenstöpsel geht nix!! Parken: es sind mehr Zimmer als Parkplätze, das ist wahrscheinlich das, was uns am meisten genervt hat. Der Manager ist aber bemüht dass jeder parken kann, er behält dann die Schlüssel wenn man in zweiter Reihe parkt.

Lage des Hotels, Frühstück und Abendessen top ! Zimmer 201 kann ich nicht empfehlen. Sehr sehr weite Wege im Hotel, 6:55 Uhr Lärm von der oberhalb gelegenen Frühstücksterrasse

Geweldig hotel met fantastisch uitzicht en superschoon. Mooie ruime kamer. Ideaal dichtbij t centrum. Bedden vonden wij iets te hard liggen, maar dat is meer een persoonlijke voorkeur. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Ook super netjes allemaal. Heerlijk zwembad, niet te diep en niet koud.

Virkelig dejlig beliggenhed. Værelset var dog ret forældet og sengen virkelig dårlig. Maden var ikke desuden ikke specielt god.

Kurzurlaub in Limone. Tolles Hotel, sehr familienfreundlich, sehr höfliches und freundliches Personal, sehr sauberes Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr gute Lage des Hotels. Das Personal am Empfang sehr zuvorkommend, ebenso die Zimmerfrauen. Das Frühstück ausreichend, der Raum an sich sehr schön ( Ausblick auf den See) aber das Personal sehr unpersönlich. Nachteil der Innenpool sehr kalt und auf die langen Fusswege zu den Zimmern sollte hingewiesen werden. Mit viel Gepäck beschwerlich und auch für ältere Personen.
