It’s a nice place to stay if you need somewhere to sleep, but if you’re planning to go to turistic areas everything is far away.

Our stay was very pleasant, hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful, very clean room and the cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, breakfast was of good quality and had various choices , especially healthier choices, check in/out was made at an ease.i would recommend my family and friends,and I would return without doubts.

Quiet industrial type neighborhood. Not much to do,no shopping or restaurants.

Pros: clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a distance from the city center but there are two buses that take folks right into the city. Varied, ample, and tasty breakfast. My only disappointment was that there were no tissues in the room which was especially tough for me as I had gotten a bad cold with a lot of sneezing and nose blowing. We were not in an area where I could buy tissues, so toilet paper had to do. Also tp served to remove make up and didn’t do such s good job! However, when I asked why they didn’t provide tissues in the room, I was told it was not their policy but that she’d be happy to give me a packet, which she did. I probably should have asked earlier.

Good hotel, well located if you don't want to look for parking inside the city. Close to the airport. Amenities were ok. Basic breakfast. Overall experience - Good!

Multiple issues with my room

Our room is clean and 2 twin beds are big and comfortable, however it doesn’t come with facial tissues, electric kettle, coffee or tea bags which is super inconvenient! Our room also has an issue where the bathroom door won’t stay in place instead it’ll keep moving towards the toilet before it stops. This caused me hitting my head or hitting my knees if I didn’t make a point to kick it back when standing up!! There’s a design issue in my opinion. There’s another issue with the shower door not shutting close so waters are spilled all over the floor. I’m super annoying with my room and will not recommend this hotel.

Was unexpected room which was not corporate for us.We didnt have any kettle and or coffee in our room.This is the first experence in my life in one of the 4 stars hotel dont provide anything to guests.

Silken Puerta Madrid

I have stayed at the Silken Puerta Madrid a few times and always been happy with my stay. Excellent hotel. Also you have a bus 146 that takes you to the city centre.

Great hotel for a stopover

We just stayed for an overnight stopover and didn't really use any of the facilities but the room was nice and comfortable. Plus we couldn't hear any noise from the road. The staff were friendly we would happily stay here again.

Homeward Bound

I traveled thru Madrid to get back to USA after being in Spain since January. Nice hotel, good location close to airport. Will come back for a longer stay someday.

Good but can improve

Good hotel, very comfortable bed and clean. Only down is the food choice. The menu for the restaurant is not available in the room and room service menu is really basic. Also no dinner available before 8pm. For someone that has flown in and jet lagged is not very good.

Have stayed at this hotel 6 times and always found the level of service good and friendly staff. Also there’s a bus 146 that take you to the centre of Madrid, 1.50€

Nice Madrid hotel

The hotel was well maintained with a nice bar and restaurant. The staff was helpful. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. Just keep in mind to give a later time when arriving for airport transportation, (shuttle only waits 10 minutes) we were left and had to take a taxi. It is close to public bus station and walking distance to a few shops and restaurants.

Highly recommend

Great stay, fantastic communication, excellent service. For our 4 year old they even provided chocolates, an extra cot, and a children’s travel toothbrush. Great restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel was OK. I did not get the feeling from the staff that they were trying to be helpful.

I tried to cancel an extra night that I had booked due to a memorial service in NY that was scheduled after my booking. The hotel did not allow me to cancel so I had to pay.

This property should not be listed as an airport hotel. It's "shuttle" runs only at certain times of day and was useless to us. It cost more than 20€ for a cab from the airport and the "shuttle" hours began too late to accommodate us and our flight left at 9 a.m.

Great for long layover in Madrid they even came to coffee bar ti let me know airport shuttle was departing

Standard accommodations

Our stay was quick and used to stay close to the airport for an early flight the next day. Hotel staff was friendly upon greeting and quickly checked us in as we arrived late at night. The hotel room smelled like it was recently painted, which was a small nuisance. Breakfast included standard continental breakfast options, and other accommodations were standard.

Poor attention to guest

Fine, we had a flight delay & needed a hotel. I left my bracket in room & they wouldn’t mail it back to me? I offered to pay for it, and they still wouldn’t? Don’t understand that kind of customer service? Wouldn’t stay there again or recommend because of it.

Loved this hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable. Attentive staff, efficient airport shuttle. Room clean, spacious, modern. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely return.

This property had positives and negatives. The positives are that it has a free shuttle to the airport and the airport is close, if you need to be for an early flight. The bathroom is large and has a tub and shower. The room was okay, but there was water damage on the ceiling and it needed a new paint job. The lobby was dingy and unattractive as was the outside. The staff was fine.

A great hotel with a great shuttle service!

The hotel isn't near the city centre but the shuttle service it offers takes care of this. The room was cleaned daily and the beds were fantastic to sleep on.

Good hotel

The hotel is really good, is clean and everything is neat. The service is good and they also provide free breakfast with the reservation; they have a variety of cheese, bread, ham, egg and coffee. The hotel is not located at a walking distance from the Madrid main center (Ex; El Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum or Jardin Real), however there is a bus station (Diario ABC) at a walking distance (~3 mins), from this stop you can go to the main tourist sites in Madrid. Everything else in this hotel is good; the rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious.

stayed there for a conference. all of the shuttles were overbooked and not available so I had to pay for taxi to/from IFEMA. Rooms are depressing. Food options are zero.

My wife and I usually stay at Silken Puerta América when we have an early flight from Madrid, but this time we chose Silken Puerta Madrid as it had a better rate and offered a shuttle service to the airport (very useful). The staff was helpful and polite, and the room in itself was OK. However, it was very noisy. From the bedroom we could perfectly hear the conversations of people passing by our door. Ditto of the lovemaking going on in a room nearby. Place to avoid if you need a good night's sleep

Room key did not function. Had to return to desk for duplicate. Only one elevator in operation and had a long wait late at night.

Stop over

We had a stopover for the airport which we have done several times. This is the first time we have stayed here but by far the best. Turn left from the hotel, through the roundabout and there are several tapas bars, pizza restaurant (popular) and an Asian restaurant where we had a fantastic meal. The hotel it's self is clean, staff great and room really nice. Can't fault it

A great stay

The hotel is located near the airport very convenient for travelers. The staff is pleasant, the shuttle came on time. The only issue the wall is very thin, the person next door woke me up several times in the middle of the night.

We had a lovely time at Hotel Silken Puerta Madrid. All The Staff members were so welcoming and informative, they gave us instructions on how to get around Madrid and what to see on our short visit. The Hotel Shuttle driver was excellent and was always there for us with a smile and a big helping hand with our baggage. We had breakfast there twice and the food was plentiful and the staff there were also very good. The location is perfect from the Airport, bus stops and the down town area. I will surely return to this hotel and tell others about it.

Customer service was good. They have information about local tours at the hotel. A bus stop is right around the corner and it is pretty easy and cheap to get around the city via bus.

Extremely clean and very comfortable room. We only stayed for one night due to our flight the next day. I would recommend it to anyone.

No smoking room smelled like cigarettes

Good size room, clean bathroom, and great shower. But the lobby was loud, filled with people having a party, kids pressed all the buttons in the elevator, and the room said "No Smoking" but there were cigarette marks on the window edges. My room smelled like cigarettes so I had to open the window most of the night. I won't stay here again.

Nice hotel but no suitable for tourist

I was disappointed with the location of the hotel, it was too far and a lot of money was spent on taxi's. I like that there was a shuttle for airport pick up and that was one of the reasons i chose this place, but i wished it was available for traveling into the city. There was no friendliness from the front desk staff, it was a very cold greeting and it made me feel uncomfortable each time in entered or existed the building. I didn't like the breakfast, it was very limited and there were more seats available than there were food. The shuttle drivers and maid were very kind and helpful, they were the only pleasant aspect about this place.

I booked this Hotel because the Meliía Barajas was not available, whic has a convenient shutel Airport service. This hotel although advertises a shutel service is very limited or do no exist if it comes already full from the other Silken Hotel. Good luck! The staff strait to the point yes or no Robot like. Congratulations to the Suthel driver the only nice and kind that truly went above and beyond. This hotel is really but four Stars! “ I don’ Think so!

Fantastic room (second time we've stayed there), and probably the best hotel breakfast in the world. Only limiting thing is that the restaurant and cafe only open at 8pm for dinner, but otherwise, magnificent!

convenient for proximity to airport

Good hotel for 1 night stay near the airport BUT the they do not advertise the shuttle service is subject to booking, so when we checked in (around 3 pm) and asked if we could use it the following morning, it was fully booked.

We stayed at the Silken as we pass through Madrid on our way to Brussels. Having been to Madrid many times, we wanted a comfortable stay near the airport and the Silken was the perfect choice. From attentive staff to well appointed rooms, we couldn't ask for a better experience. The shuttle was super convenient and they even picked me up after dropping off the rental car. Fantastic overall experience!

no ac and bedbugs

the room AC didn't work and the bed had bedbugs which we found out next day. it was horrible and only thing they did is to change the room for us

Lovely hotel

Hotel was lovely. Lives up to the Silken brand completely. Breakfast was excellent. Room very comfortable & quiet. Only it's a bit far from tourist attractions, but there is a bus right outside hotel. I would stay there again!

One of the main reasons we decided to stay at this hotel was the free shuttle to the airport. However, when we tried to schedule a ride to the airport a day in advance we were told there was no availability and we would need to look for another way to get to the airport. Other than that, the hotel was fine except that there was no coffee maker or water kettle in the room, so we had to leave without our caffeine fix.
