Vintage building with a some challenges
This is a very old building that has had a little renovation but far from “exceptional”. On google they claim to be a 2 star accommodation which is accurate. Don’t believe the Hotels.com rating of 10! Also this is NOT like a traditional hotel in the states or Australia. My room was very large and clean. TV turned on but only local, antenna channels- no UTube, Netflix, or western news Bloomberg, CNN, etc). I did not need to use AC as it was cool at night. The road directly from the “hotel” to the main walking street (Futa Khura) was a disaster due to pipe burial construction which translates into mud and piles of human excrement. The smell was horrible. I will not be keeping those shoes, lol. I had my bathroom window open and was visited by a monkey, so keep that in mind. Saba Haveli is off the beaten path. I stayed for two nights then moved to another place which is more modern, closer to attractions, and 1/3rd the cost. My check in was smooth and fast. Dhananjay was kind, professional, and helpful. The young man who takes care of breakfast is also hard working and anxious to be of help. Staff were all top notch! Breakfast was made to order based on what they had (no menu). Coffee was instant. There is no lift. I learned on my check-out that there is a garden across the street which is exclusively for guests. The staff was also helpful in securing tuk-tuks. Restful sleep was impossible due to three reasons: fireworks at night (10pm-1am), dogs barking, and Islamic prayers
Excellent stay in a great hotel
Great hotel. Exterior facade looks a little rough, but interior is excellent. Garden across the street is excellent too.
HIDDEN GEM -- the outside is quite nondescript, compared to the grand facades of some of the boutique hotels. But the rooms we stayed in (110, 111) were excellent -- large & roomy, beautiful flooring, huge bathrooms with hot water. Service was excellent (thanks Gauri & Dhananjay) -- breakfast was delicious with muffins, cake, parathas, omlettes made to order, tea, coffee, fruits, fruit juice. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Located inside the old city with convenient access to the sightseeing locations in Jaipur. Highly recommend!
Beautiful historic and unique property for the adventurous traveler. The haveli is family run and the warmth and care of the staff is exceptional. Rooftop dining and traditional puppet show are one of a kind experience, and the food is among the best we had in India. Dhan Singh and colleagues took excellent care of us, even walking our bags to the main road at 430 am for the trip to the airport.
Home away Home
I have been traveling a lot lately, for business and leisure; however I have never felt the comfort like one at Saba Haveli. I felt home from the moment I entered the palace as I was greeted and ushered to my gargauntaun room — an elegant vintage lodging with a touch of modern amenities that radiated utmost Comfort to my body and soul. The palace is also supplemented with Panoramic view of city from terrace and a garden of solace. Food was delicious and synonymous with Quality of Palace and Host — Palatable & soothing, even as I was looked after well as I fall sick. The Incharge & Owner personally interacted to ensure the demands being met and to address any service one might seek.
Perfect stay in Jaipur
A great stay! The Saba Haveli hotel is really authentic and unique in its architecture and style which we loved. The food was great and the hotel is well located very close to the main heart of the Pink City. The hotel owner is a very nice and helpful gentleman and the staff were all great. We stayed for 3 nights in October 2023 and were very happy.
We had a wonderful stay at Saba Haveli. The property has its own charm with all the modern amneties, which made our stay comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff is cooperative. The thing that stood out the most was the roof top dinner. The owners are amazing people and went an extra mile to decorate the rooftop a little for our daughter's 3rd birthday. They truly made our stay memorable.
Good property. Owner gives his best experience. Food is very delicious. Only cons that I see is that haveli is little bit inside the town and google maps takes us from small road to reach there.
The family running this property was extremely kind and went out of their way to help us with dining recommendations, booking train travel (which can be nightmare in India), with laundry among other things. We learned the building is about 300 years old. The portion that is used as hotel provides a genuine feel of the splendor of Jaipur at it’s peak.

Dreamy
My beautiful (extra large) room at Saba Haveli transported me to another time and place in Jaipur. Perfect place for a romantic getaway or as a solo traveler, a peaceful oasis amidst the chaos of Pink City. The family and staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The other guests I met over breakfast were also wonderful. I loved my stay! NB: the property was being renovated in parts so there was some rustic charm to the whole thing...not manicured gardens or a finished roof but I didn't mind.
