I highly recommend this hotel

This is not my first trip to hotel, however, it is always a pleasant trip as the quality of the food and service is good; I particularly like the hot spring😊

My grandparents have always loved the buffet offered by this hotel, this is their first time staying overnight and they couldn’t have been more pampered and happy!

Great location and easy-going for relaxing vacation

We were at the same hotel 5 years ago and like it. This time still enjoyed our stay and impressed how well the hotel was being kept in its top rate condition. The food was good. The hot spring is nice and massage service excellent! Definitely will come back again!

Excellent service. All staff members are friendly, competent, and efficient. All issues are resolved efficiently and right on the mark. Buffets for breakfast and dinner are excellent. Zen Garden offers great no-menu lunch too. Spa is great. I also enjoyed the morning walk to the waterfall,

The service was good. The hotel is clean and warm. The room is comfortable. It’s an old hotel but they’ve done a great job at maintaining the quality of everything.

Thanks to friendly and professional staff at the hotel, we really enjoyed our first trip to Chiao Hsi. Make sure not to miss daily musical performance which is held every evening at the lobby. The hotel provides a variety of kid's activities,too, and they wete quite fun too! We loved food, pool, and hot spring. We will definitely come and stay at Royal Hotel Chiao Hsi again!

Great but not as great as before

3rd stay, love this hotel in most ways but was struck by decline in variety at both breakfast and dinner buffets, especially pronounced in breakfast baked goods, also one front desk person was inept in handling the updating of credit card on file and required 2 visits to straighten out and did not explain her inability to get it done correctly

Confortable. Breakfast is excellent. Sevice is very good. Outdoor hot spring is not good because there are lots of mosquitoes and there are only 2 hot spring pools, one cold water and the others are for foot. A bit disappointed. Rather take hot spring in the room. Other facilities are good for kids.

Excellent service

staff very caring and attentive especially in Zen Restaurant. 1 of my family not feeling good immediately staff approached us to make sure that everything is ok. Will go back again as it is my 3rd stay.

Staffs are very helpful and nice, we can feel they did the best arrangement for us.

Most things is wonderful but room face the construction and concrete. I would like to see some green trees or mountain when I come to Chiaohsi for hot spring not just grey and steel.

Great stay, recommended for family stay

We had a great stay in the hotel. It may not be counted as SLH (small luxury hotels) as the size and the no. of occupancy are not small at all. Great for family trip as a lot of different selection of things you can do. What it impressed me the most is even the hotel was crowded on the day when we checked in the staff is still able to give me an earlier entrance to the room. Only one small thing to comment is the staff knowledge on wine pairing on the dinner we had may need more polish. Great stay overall !

The best getaway trip for families!

This is the third time I chose to stay at Hotel Royal Chiaohsi. We love the hotel facilities - swimming pool, hot spring tub and everything. Dinner and breakfast are well arranged, food and drinks are nice. Looking forward to the next stay : )

Japanese hot spring hotel operate by Taiwanese

Great services and plenty hotel hosted events to keep the trip interesting. Shared bath/ hot spring was nice and clean. Hotel was crowded with family, including the restaurants. Foods are okay, room for be improvement.

We enjoyed a relaxing holiday here. The staff are friendly.

Relaxing hot spring? NO WAY!

It’s a luxury hotel apart from not enough hearting in the public area. Nice environment and food. However it’s SO Noisy because every corner is full of kids like a youth centre or junior school. It’s a hotel for family with kids. Not for relaxing.

Great family friendly hotel

The hotel has a huge outdoor hot spring/cool pool complex that my kids enjoyed playing. We went in December and it has sparse rain and a bit cool but the outdoor hot spring made you feel so relaxing in the rain. The hotel provide basket with plastic cover for the pool towel and you store your personal belongings in there too so it won't get wet if it rains. They provide sweet ginger tea at the pool too. My kids also enjoyed the indoor family playroom. They have 3 pool tables, 3 ping pong tables, 1 footballs table, 1 air hockey, a big slide complex, and an area for toddlers which include kitchen set, train set and some stuff animals. My toddler and and my grade school children both enjoy the hot spring and family playroom a lot. We did not use the indoor spa facility. One complaint is the common area in basement (dining and family playroom area) is extremely cold all the time. My booking include 2 meals (breakfast and dinner) which is a plus because we never need to leave the hotel. It's definitely a great family resort.

Expensive hotel

Disappointed, room condition a bit rundown in need of upgrading. Room condition and the meals provided unable to justify the high room rate charged.

Remote resort with a Japanese theme.

Prefect place to just chill and relax. Even after checkout you can use the hot spring facilities until 6 pm (we left at 4:10 pm to catch the bus to taipei).

가족여행하기 좋은 곳이네요. 어른들은 온천을 아이들은 수영을,,연령대별로 다 만족할 만한 시설이 있으니 맘이 편해요. 방 내부도 군더더기 없이 잘 짜여져 있고, 침대 매트리스와 침구도 딱 좋았어요. 청소도 매일 새로 체크인한 방처럼 정리해주고~ 기분이 좋더라구요.^^ 다음에 또 가고 싶네요.

Nice Japanese style hot springs resort

The facilities and grounds were pretty nice. The buffet food was excellent. Only gripes I would have is that the little room where the toilet smelled like sewage all the time. Also the whole place could be a little more Engljsh friendly.

Good for family trip

The hot spring and swimming pool are spacious and fun. Hiking trail nearby also make the stay more enjoyable. The buffet restaurant is superb in terms of food choices and helpful staff. However, staff at the western restaurant are not too welcoming. They have been rushing out the dishes and handed us the bill while we were only half way on our red wine. This restaurant was the only point that make our stay less than perfect.

The reservation and cleaning staff were great.

The reservation staff was great. However, I went to the coffee shop to wait for our room to become available and it was a great disappointment. The coffee shop has a minimum charge of $250 a percent plus the 10% for service. The shop understaffed with 2 servers so 1 waiter was running within the coffee shop for food delivery and service. The other would serve you with a very sad and solemn face. The price for the 15 minute wait for our room was not a good experience. The evening buffet was quite disappointing. The steak was not even chewable and the other offerings were of low quality.

we had heard about the hotel from several friends and came to experience it ourselves after a college reunion in Taipei. We loved it and will come back soon.

clean room, helpful staff. friendly and relax environment. Got plenty of free DVD to watch in room. Free breakfast provided (until 11:30, which is good for traveler stay up late last night)

Just came back from a 2 night stay in the western suite. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The standard of hospitality was top notch and we loved the room. Only complaint is that it was very crowded as it was the end of the local summer holiday, and therefore the pool and breakfast areas were very crowded.

餐點很不錯，飯店服務人員也蠻熱心的，只是感覺他們的人力不是讓我主管，但是差點的小箱子，有一點點味道，唯一一個不滿意的地方，就是床頭的設計，有一個比較大的距離，也不小心很容易撞到頭。

接待的櫃檯人員態度很差非常不耐煩，旅遊的好心情都被毀了。帶我們去房間的服務人員親切的許多，為礁溪老爺拿回了些分數，希望貴司加強櫃檯人員的訓練。

給分95分，請再加強小細節

房間寬敞舒適明亮，很有五星的水準，唯一的缺點床和客廳有個高低落差，很容易害人摔倒，後果不堪設想，晚餐很有水準，不論是多樣性或食物的新鮮度都很棒，還有一個小缺點，酒店到火車站轉運站的接駁車為什麼不固定整點30分一班，客人好記好規劃，非要弄個40分一班，很麻煩！其他都很棒！還會再來，希望能看到改善

Check in後有轉人帶到房間，但只有沿路介紹環境，可惜沒有說明各項設施使用方式和可以參加的活動，以度假型飯店來說，這是最重要的，但卻隻字不提，有點不應該。房價和兩餐，自助晚餐菜色還可以，沒有特別的亮點，如果想睡晚點，自助早餐可以更換成套餐早午餐還不錯。退房後公共設施可以一直使用到傍晚六點很棒

服務人員都很親切，餐點口味很棒，房間整潔並且非常舒適，是一趟讓人放鬆並且心情愉悅的假期。

景觀沒話説。早晚餐也美味。入住時 廁所有點不乾凈，反映後很快就來處理，還附上小禮物。整體來説，跟之前入住的經驗相比 這次是非常滿意。希望能持續保持下去。

房間偏日式，泡湯很舒服，不過應該要開始翻新一些舊的設施，整體還是很舒服的！

泉質がやわらかくゆっくり温泉を楽しめました。 リゾートらしいプールやドクターフィッシュの足湯も楽しかったです。 食事は夜も朝も種類が豊富で、台湾料理をいろいろ楽しめてうれしかったです。 レクリエーション施設も、卓球やビリヤード、子どもの遊び場などがあり、時間制で皆が楽しめるようになっていてよかったです。 夏休み期間だからか、二胡、フルート、キーボードのミニコンサートがあり、特に二胡のエネルギッシュな演奏に感動しました。各曲の解説があり、知らない曲もその背景や演奏家の思い入れを知ることで楽しめました。 とても楽しい滞在をさせていただきありがとうございました！

在礁溪老爺遇到的每個工作人員都有愛馬仕級的微笑及服務！夏季的館內活動很豐富，帶著孩子一整天在館內也不無聊。露天風呂與戶外泳池非常好玩，期待每年都能來礁溪老爺度假！

來第3次了 雖然 硬體和食物都高品質 但平台明明寫5人一食二泊 費用全包 飯店還是加收我們 2個人的伙食費 第一晚冷氣還不冷 換了個房間 才感覺它們的善意

Relaxed and comfortable

It is such a great hotel, so I chose it again this year. This was my 3rd time living here. The staff was excellent, professional, and friendly. The mountain view is fantastic. They provide a shuttle bus from Taipei main station to their hotel, and it is very convenient for people who travel. However, the facilities are kind of old. The buffet was okay, not really beyond what I expected. I hope they will remodel soon and I will be back definitely.

絕對是礁溪數一數二的選擇

一如往常的提供了非常放鬆的環境，不過對於攜帶嫩嬰出遊的家庭可能需考量房型是否符合需求，家中嬰兒剛好對於入睡燈光要求比較高，房內有無法關閉的電燈稍微有造成困擾。 但飯店對於嬰兒用品的提供相當周到，可以減少許多出遊的負擔。

服務環境是台灣名列前茅的酒店，一定再來

服務員態度和藹親切、環境一流、泡湯設備齊全，媲美日本 美中不足時大堂側翼有裝修工程，味道有點嗆，而且自助餐餐廳位置改了，沒有美景。 入住後因身體不適，服務員會照顧我的需要，而且離開後酒店人員連續兩天仍然致電跟進，值得一讚！

水着着用のエリアにも、入浴できる場所はもう少し広ければ、ありがたい。

悠閒、享受放鬆的住宿。 服務人員親切。 但人員若能再多了解一些各種設施或活動細節會更好。

自助餐的菜色豐富，但房間一般般，浴缸浴室很小， 不值得這個房價

1.整體軟硬體都很不錯。 2.周圍環境、地點很清幽舒適。 3.料理口味可再精進。 4.人員服務親切，但整體細膩度可再加強。

整體房價有點偏高，CP值相對不吸引人。 建議房間內可設置膠囊咖啡機以匹配相對較高的房價。
