This hotel is so-so. It is dated and in need of renovation. The "spa" pool is really dated complete with mirrors from the late 70's/early 80's and a mural. The bathrooms in the pool area are unsightly. Our room had a great view and terrace, but the bed was uncomfortable, the linens were okay, but the decor was very dated. The massage staff, however, were excellent. Unfortunately, navigating the rest of the staff was very difficult unless you speak Catalan - which we do not (English, French, and a tiny bit of Spanish). Although the property advertises parking and valet, it was nonexistent. Same is true for "room service" which was a dicey proposition. The location was terrific and right in the heart of the shopping district and dining. The walk is about 2 blocks to Caldea.

Family holiday!

Really good located hotel in the middle of Andorra. Big rooms and big toilet, with shower and also bath tub. Pet friendly! Which makes it easy for a family holiday :) Great customer service too! Really helpful

Terrible customer service, you ask for extra things or help and they never deliver! The only two starts are gave to his rating is one for a view to mountains from Superior room only, and closeness to shopping/restaurants. The spa/ swimming pool is for 24 euros per person even for hotel guests! This should be for free or low fee with access of 1h for hotel guests! We didnt go to the restaurant.

Our maid was AWESOME!!! The rest of the the facility could definitely use an upgrade! I felt like I was in the 1960s and not in a good way. The room was rather hot. I cannot figure out how to use the heater or the air conditioner. If we left the door open, it smelled like exhaust fumes. This was a no-win situation. We got there a few minutes before check-in and the way to leave. Our bags was not fully explained. And we were never offered our two free drinks per day.

Helpful staff and great location

Great staff and location. We lost a set of AirPods in our room and they went above and beyond to find them for us. The location is central and there is parking underground.

Nice, but slightly dated, well situated hotel in the centre of town. Reasonable breakfast, big bedroom and bathroom. bedroom furniture perhaps needs modernisation. Good wifi throughout hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, very clean. Surface level car park opposite the hotel approx 20 euros a night

Nice hotel in a good location.

A nice well located hotel close to shops and restaurants. My room was a bit dark for my tastes and it felt a bit tired. Also, unfortunately, they disable the air con in the bedrooms when the daytime outside temperature falls below 28 degrees centigrade which is was during my stay. It was about 21 degrees. I didn't see this published anywhere in advance. My room, however, was well above that temperature and I could not understand why it would not cool down. Once I switched off the air con at 2am and opened the windows the temperature became tolerable but noise from outside was a small problem. I think it would be helpful to let guests know this in advance. If I'd left the windows open all evening, rather than assuming the air con would work, it would have been a much better solution.

Fabulous!

Fabulous hotel! This hotel has everything, location, restaurant, pool, spa, convenience, comfort, and friendly staff! No complaints at all.

When I choise Roc Blanc is Ok. Excellent location, but nobody mention the Expedia VIP status.

Disappointing Experience

Good location, but a bit loud at times. Restaurant staff was rude at best. Hotel staff was somewhat nice but not helpful at all. Breakfast was good. I encourage to read most of the reviews of this place, and I second most of the points. There was no parking spots available on the hotel, and the staff had no idea where to park (there was parking across the street, which offered a discount for multiple days). Hotel is dated, rooms are old and simple stuff like a sink flush lever was broken and "patched" to work. Hotel did not honor Expedia VIP status. Overall disappointed with what should be a 4-star hotel.

Hotel stuck in time.

Stayed here for Christmas Eve and day. The hotel seems like it has not been renovated in quite some time. It is clean but shows her age. It is very well located but WiFi was awful. We had half-board Xmas lunch and dinner the food was fair.

Relax weekend in Andorra

Weekend in the city - good location, close to the shopping street and nearby restaurants. Spa is good but was we expecting more on the breakfast. Crowded and food quality was not impressive - really average. Hotel has a back entrance with a scalator that says "no lugge here" - I could not find the elevator therefore you have to walk up a good numbers of stair steps with the luggage on your hand. A small rock concert took place in from of the hotel - was a good night. Good hotel, needs a bit renewal in some areas.

This hotel is very close to just about everything you want to see in the village. Nice room but there were pee stains on the bidet and toilet. No elevator from the parking, so it has to be valet. Generally a nice place but they need to clean more carefully.

Great well located hotel, superb service

Good location with lots of shops and restaurants close by, garage was full, they arranged to park our car for us (and brought it back to us when leaving), superb service. Breakfast very good, pool area very good, but quite warm. The best part was the service received from Adria, really efficient, friendly and welcoming, absolutely perfect, a real credit to the company. We will no doubt return, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The location is great. The hotel is a bit strangely laid out because the front entrance is no longer accessible except via foot. There is no lift from the garage so getting bags from the car to the room was a pain. The spa in the hotel was nice and the rates for services were reasonable. We had massages and facials. The in room amenities were nice, however, there was no hair conditioner. They had toothbrushes, tooth paste, lotion, body scrubs but no conditioner. The mattresses were not comfortable, unfortunately. We had one roll away for a third person and it was actually the only comfortable mattress. The other two standard beds were saggy and you could feel the coils. The breakfast was great. Good selection and variety and met several dietary restrictions in the group (gluten free/vegetarian)

The location is great. The rooms were clean, modern and fairly spacious. The breakfast buffet is fabulous. They seemed a bit short staffed. When it came time to get my car from valet, there was only one staff so I had to retrieve it from the garage myself. The staff's English was not great, but we improvised and were able to communicate.

Hotel Roc Blanc

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. We stayed here seven years ago and loved it. They have cut back on some of the amenities since then. Our rate per night was great. I would recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Escaldes,

An excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble for them and they make your stay very comfortable, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

A convenient, well appointed hotel.

Andorra is not a cheap place to stay, despite the duty free hype. This hotel has reasonable sized standard rooms with a well appointed bathroom with separate shower and bath. Not the usual toiletries as they include exfoliating gel, tired leg cream and face moisturiser. Designed for skiers I think. The spa and pool cost extra and I did not use them. Breakfast is the usual Spanish style of pan con tomate, tortilla, bacon, sausage and a lot of fruit and pastries. A really good selection on Sunday morning, less good on Monday morning. There is a small car park under the hotel and a large one opposite that the hotel will provide a card for. At €22.50 per night it is on the pricey side and I had been promised free parking by Hotels.com when I booked. This was not honoured and I was told there is no free parking in Andorra. Very true! Roc Blanc is at the top of a shopping street in a square. It is well located for the thermal spa and the main shopping area. The lounge area is comfortable. The bar prices are fairly high for a duty free country, but average for a hotel. In comparison with other hotels in the 4 and 5 star range in Andorra, le Roc Blanc sits in the middle. The rooms are bigger, though less luxurious than la casa canut down the road, better breakfast than the tulip next door and a lot less luxurious than the Andorra Park, though generally less expensive. Tea and coffee facilities would be much appreciated in the room.

Good Hotel

This is a nice hotel in a perfect location. The decor is a bit dated, but everything is very clean and well kept. The staff are friendly for the most part. During check-in it took a while to be assisted because the woman assisting us was helping her colleague extensively (I am assuming she was new). The breakfast and the staff were absolutely wonderful and the beds were quite comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Andorra.

A tired but safe place to stay

The hotel is a dump. Really old. Threadbare upholstery in the rooms. Hard, uncomfortable mattresses. Breakfast OK but generally below average. There were cigarette burns on the worn-out upholstery, but the room was clean and did not smell of smoke.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Escaldes

We prefer to stay in Escaldes and drive every day to El Tarter for skiing, Escaldes has very many good restaurants and shops and the Roc Blanc is central and very comfortable.

Helpful Staff, Great Room

I went with friends, each having their own room, and everyone was happy with their room, including me! Breakfast was included and was a full range - continental and English (well, there was bacon and sausages, and they would cook eggs anyway you wanted on demand). Car parking is at a premium in Andorra and this hotel, like others, charge for it. The entrance to the car park is tiny (perhaps a throwback to when cars were smaller) and it's a tight corkscrew ramp down to the underground parking bays. Tricky. Easier to drive it down, than to drive it up from the car park. After the first night, I didn't fancy getting the car out of the car park, but this not a problem as the concierges are happy to do this for you. If you are here to ski then I think you are well catered for. The closest is Pal Arinsal and on one occasion, we drove to a car park (10 mins) and then took the gondola up. The car park was €5 and you can buy this when you pay for your ski pass. On another occasion, we drove all the way to the top and this took perhaps 30 mins, but you get free parking. Free Ski Buses regularly stop outside the hotel too. All in all, a highly recommended hotel.

The hotel has nice facilities but scarce.

I believe that the 4 star qualification should be reviewed to 3 stars, very limited toilette paper,kleenex and towels and sheets are worn out..!! Staff was very helpful.

Not what is advertised

This hotel seemed perfect when we made our booking, but upon checking in we realised it was far from this. We stayed for 2 nights and as soon as we arrived we went to shower and found the temperature tap stuck on extreme hot which made it impossible to shower. It took 2 days for the hotel to fix this properly and we ended up having to shower in friends rooms. We chose the hotel due to the rooftop outdoor pool and when we turned up the pool was closed and we were not allowed to even access the roof to sunbake. This should have been told to us when the booking was made and listed on the Expedia website. It was a fundamental reason for selecting this hotel. It cost us money to go elsewhere to a public pool in 34 degree heat.

This was the best hotel we ever stayed at, The people spoke every language very polite and helpful with setting up tours also food was good the people at hotel and the people in neighborhood were nice to talk to felt like home the view was awsome. We felt safe all the time. Overall this place was and is a class act Thank you Roc Blanche

Great location!

What a wonderful stay! Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. There was even music playing in the bathroom. Very close to the Caldea Spa, we were able to walk there. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only complaint is parking was expensive.

Great stay

Great price for a lovely hotel room. There was even music that played in the bathroom! Breakfast was delicious and staff was kind. Only complaint is the high price of parking. I firmly believe, and always will, that hotels should absorb the costs of parking for their hotel guests. Other than that, it was a lovely visit.

The best place in town

We had a fabulous stay in Andorra La Vella and the hotel played a big part in that, the room was excellent we stayed in the premier room and it was spacious and well equiped the bathroom was even better the staff where very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was a joy to the point of over indulgment but when on holiday you do, the poistion in the town seemed ideal to us and enjoyed the benefit over the roof top pool which was the only one as far as we could see, highly reccommended and we will return for a winter session

J’ai demandé un lit double et on a eu 2 lits simples donc pas agréable du tout

Habitué de cet hotel. Un peu déçu de l'etat de propreté de la salle de bain. Trace de savon sec sur la baignoire et des meches de poils sur la bonde de la douche. Odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre!!!!. Et la femme de chambre qui oublie de refaire notre chambre. Beaucoup de hics pour un hotel 4 Etoiles.

Con el pretexto de que había la gala de fin de año, no estaban disponibles muchos servicios: spa, coctelería, etc. Personal de recepción, a excepción de un chico argentino de la mañana, muy antipatico y alguno de ellos incluso maleducado y nada servicial.

Bien ubicado, mal mantenimiento.

La habitación era un ático para 4 personas, que con muy poca inversión podría ser muy bueno. Pero las alfombras estaban en muy mal estado. Las camas individuales eran malas y el baño aunque estaba reformado tenía la bañara rota y la encimera con manchas. El hotel está muy bien ubicado y el Hall y recepción parecen de un hotel de más calidad que la habitación que nos toco.

Decepcionante

Habíamos estado ya en 3 ocasiones en este hotel y para mí era uno de los mejores, por ello decidimos volver a cogerlo,por ubicación y confort, sólo que esta vez fuè todo mal, pedimos una habitación para 3, cuando nos dieron la habitación sólo había dos camas montadas y zapatillas para dos,ni rastro de los albornoces, cepillos de dientes u otros enseres que suelen poner en el baño.Bajamos a recepción y les comentamos el tema de la cama y los albornoces,la recepcionista hizo una llamada y luego nos dijo que más tarde las chicas pasarían a revisar nuestra habitación y dejarían todo listo, cuando regresamos del paseo en la noche,al entrar en la habitación vimos que aún no se había montado la otra cama, no habían albornoces,no habían dejado los utensilios del baño que faltaban y observamos también que la limpieza de esa habitación estaba hecha por encima,pues encontramos un papel rayado y coloreado en el escritorio por los anteriores ocupantes,el váter sin precinto,las toallas dobladas y colocadas de cualquier modo.En recepción olvidaron también el detalle de ofrecer agua o cava a la llegada tal cómo otras veces hacían.Lo único a lo que le voy a poner un 10 y agradecer es a la chica colombiana que en la noche nos vino a montar con mucha simpatía la cama, y disculpó al resto de sus compañeras por tal descuido con nuestra habitación, fuè muy atenta y enseguida nos trajo todo lo necesario, por lo demás muchas dejadez por parte del resto del personal que nos hizo el check-in .

Comodísimo, bien ubicado, amables y limpio

Situado en una zona céntrica, hay bastantes aparcamientos alrededor, de pago. Todo el personal muy amable.

Me encantó la habitación, el desayuno buenísimo y los trabajadores muy atentos. Lo único que se me quedó pequeño fue el spa.

Habitación muy cómoda y amplia para 3 personas. El personal de recepción muy amable. Hotel recomendable si quieres estar en el centro de Escaldes.

Hôtel agréablement situé en centre ville pour pouvoir profiter de centre Caldea à 5 mm à pied d’accès direct à la rue commerçante la plus empruntée Le personnel très agréable et à l’écoute le restaurant bon mais dommage un peu long en cuisine. Seul bémol les services tels que piscine stationnements sont payants . Nous recommandons cet hôtel

Good location

It’s not ok that you have to pay for spa, when you stay at a spa hotel. Wallet parking is ok, but it’s not ok that you cann’t have your car before 9 am. Parkingi s expensive. Location is good. Breakfast is ok. At a 4 star hotel I expect indivudual shampoo and shower gel.

Muy buena ya son varias veces que utilizo su hotel, camareros, botones, recepción muy bien salvo como detalle una señora de recepción un poco agresiva en la forma de comunicar de hablar y te sienta un poco mal, pensé que era el carácter pero eran sus modales cdo le preguntabas algo, los demás empleados mismo un señor muy educado y amable y predispuesto excelente de recepción y la gente en general

Séjour Andorre

Nous y avons passé une nuit. Notre chambre donnait sur la route mis aucun bruit. Nous avons entendu du bruit mais surtout de l'intérieur des portes qui claquent. Chambre grande avec une salle de bain spacieuse mais dommage le lit n'était pas aussi grand. Petit déjeuner buffet, très variés en salés et sucrés. Personnel très agréable, serviable et souriant.

Hotel muito bom!

Bom hotel, café da manhã muito bom, funcionários atenciosos, muito próximo de restaurantes e lojas. Frigobar não funcionou em nenhum dos quartos do nosso grupo e o botão para controlar a calefaçâo e o ar condicionado também estavam quebrados (passamos muito calor).

La chambre et l'hôtel en général était parfait, malheureusement le voiturier en garant ma voiture dans le garage de l'hôtel a endommage ma voiture, personne de l'hôtel n'a voulue prendre en comte ma demande, juste on va voir cela demain, et encore demain, donc ne faite pas garer votre voiture par l'hôtel

Jolie hôtel mais qui commence à être dans son jus, le point négatif de mon séjour est le bruit les chambres sont pas insonorisées on entends tout de la chambre au dessus et à côté, la salle de bain aucuns gel douche pour se laver je précise que ce sont des pompes que l’hôtel se doit de remplir… l’eau chaude du bain qui est limite donc l’eau est quasi froide.. et la moisissure ainsi que les roule d’araignée présentes un peu partout dans la chambre. J’avais demandé un grand lit et nous avons eu deux lits simples ce qui est pas des plus confortable pour un couple! Point positif l’emplacement Après beaucoup de prestations sont des options donc le prix peut vite grimper

À améliorer

L’emplacement est idéal. Le check in parfait, nous avons apprécié l’accueil et la rapidité. Cependant, les chambres sont surchauffés malgré que nous ayons éteint le chauffage. Nous avons été déçu car réveillé au téléphone tôt le matin à deux reprises pour nous demander si nous n’avions pas un véhicule qui correspondait au modèle et couleur d’un véhicule générant sur la voie publique… En l’occurrence non, ce n’était pas notre véhicule et nous sommes arrivé 15h avant. Avez-vous contacté tous les clients de l’hôtel? Est-ce un excès de bienveillance au point de perturber notre sommeil en période de vacances? Soit… nous décidons donc, une fois réveillé de prendre le petit déjeuner sur place. Nous descendons vers 9h et la le responsable nous demande notre numéro de chambre, nous lui communiquons, et à nouveau, il nous demande si notre véhicule ne correspond pas au véhicule gênant?! Est ce une boutade? Non lui répondons à nouveau que non. Il s’agit la d’un manque de respect et un manque de communication criant entre les différents services. Pour un établissement de ce standing, le petit déjeuner est correct, pas plus. Autre point à relever, un bourdonnement de l’air conditionné (pourtant éteint) a perturbé notre sommeil. Le check out a été rapide et efficace.

Localización excelente, personal del hotel muy amable y eficiente. Estado del hotel debe realizarse una reforma de Manera urgente, sobre todo la insonorización del hotel es muy deficiente y el estado de las puertas dejan mucho que desear….. Por lo demás bien, parking de pago y restauración no puedo opinar porque no la contratamos por el precio. El desayuno tiene un precio muy elevado 18€. Si sales a escasos metros del hotel existen cafeterías con muy buenas opciones y más económicas.

Fin de semana en Andorra

Hemos pasado el fin de semana, en la habitación cuadruple. El servicio muy atento en todo momento, y las instalaciones correctisimas

Très bon accueil. Hôtel idéalement placé. Cadre sympa : petite place pour boire un verre Seul petit bémol : les horaires du petit déjeuner : n arrivez pas 5 min avant la fin. Et le manque de prise dans la chambre.

Vraiment pas terrible

Chambre très loin de la description et des photos. La chambre fait vieille, la moquette décolorée et décollée. Sans parler du room service très cher pour une pizza présenté dans une boîte en carton sans assiette, dont la moitié est inmangeable tellement c’est dur. Du scotch de peintre était encore collé au plafond. Lorsque vous arrivez à l’accueil, vous avez l’effet waouh qui retombe vite en rentrant dans votre chambre. Nous n’y retournerons pas, c’est sûr. À plus de 100 € la chambre, c’est vraiment inadmissible.
