Very convenient for our needs. Comfortable bed, very clean, great staff, quiet enough, windows which opened onto inner courtyard, everything we needed for a quick stopover. Even a buffet breakfast at euros12 which I wasn’t expecting would be available.

My glass shower door was half gone which meant that my bathroom got very wet every time I used the shower.

Convenient location about 250 feet from Termini. Room was musty and had to repeatedly open the windows. Bedcovers were dusty and worn. Breakfast was good.

This hotel is very basic. It meets the needs of all you need is a bed and shower. It’s a few steps from Roma Termini, the primary train station in Rome.

We booked this hotel primarily because of its location: close to the station and Metro. The condition of the place represented by pictures on Expedia was deceiving as the place was found to be in a highly dated condition, comparable to a motel in the middle of nowhere. Some stuff made reasonable efforts to keep it clean, and be courteous in the breakfast room, but others didn't take an effort to bring a bath towel that was missing to start with. The courtyard was simply a yukki damp. The hotel can be used for an inexpensive stay, but be prepared to lower your expectations as soon as you check in. Remarkably, the hotel could have easily earned 3 stars instead of 2 - by offering better customer courtesy, removing the damp in the courtyard and giving the place a few more touches.

It was a clean well serviced older hotel in a perfect location for the Termini train bus and metro hub. It was not a flash palacial hotel but offered great value for rooms and breakfast. The quirky vintage lift only held three slim people but was interesting and smooth.

If you’re looking for a nice safe bed closed to major transportation hubs (train/taxis/bus) this is it. Also, it has a lot of local restaurants at great price!

This is a very inexpensive hotel. The staff are excellent. The building is run down and not very nice. But it is clean.

Actually i was moved to the hotel archimede down the street because the Rimini is under emergency repairs

I selected The Rimini for its close proximity to the central train station & car rental facilities which worked out well. The first night convinced me to rebook at the Rimini two night prior to my departure from Rome. The staff expressed their professionalism through their customer service excellence.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Rimini. It is located a half a block from the train station and so it is extremely convenient for transportation. The hotel was nice and clean and had everything we need. Just be aware that it is a little hard to find as the awning it shares with its combined hotel says Corbet on it. There were plenty of dining options close by in and out of the train station. We would stay here again.

The staff and workers were very good and excellent with their help for tourists. Getting from upper levels to the ground floor was difficult for a party of four people.

Nice old building. Well priced and conveniently located next to Rome Termini so every form of ground transportation was possible. Reasonable restaurants close. Clean with friendly staff. The quality of the hotel breakfast food could have been better.

Best bang for your buck!

Very clean rooms, polite staff, great location, couldn't ask for much more. Just wish the bed was a tad bit more comfortable.

Property was conveniently located close to the train station. Good size room. Mattress was comfortable but the 2 pillows on the queen size bed were paper thin. The blanket on the bed was very thin as well. We were originally on the 4th floor. Had a remote for the air conditioning so we could control the temperature. Bathroom would not flush toilet paper. They moved us to the second floor. Second floor had central air conditioning. First night was freezing. The blanket was of no help. Second night, they had the central air conditioning turned off. It was uncomfortably warm in the room. Did not sleep well both nights because of this. Bathroom was very big. Shower was very small. Could not reach down to pick up the soap when it fell because of the lack of room. Listed as a 3 star hotel. Not sure about that. Fell short of our expectations.

Terrible experience- not worth the money

We didn’t get the balcony room we were promised, the room was small and uncomfortable. The electrical outlets didn’t function and the hotel staff didn’t offer a solution to the problem.

Nice room 503, had a large balcony which was good. Better still had a split system air con that worked well in 40 degree heat. Was able to leave my bags there during the day, but rude day staff member at the office wouldn't let me charge my phone when I return which was the only disappointment!

Convenient close to roma termini, room was ok for the price. Didn't like lift of the hotel. Aircon was ok. Fridge didn't work as usual.

Great hotel. Easy to find and get to from Termini station. A bit calmer on that side of Termini than the other side we noticed when we were out wandering, which was nice. Very clean. A bit dated furniture but still very nice. We were happily surprised to have a roof terrace! Had a great time, would definitely recommend Hotel Rimini.

I reviewed this hotel inAugust 2022 (see below) I have just stayed at the Hotel Rimini again last week (June 2024) and can confirm my previous positive impression. I would certainly return. Aug 2022: I've read the negative reviews with some surprise. This is not a 5star hotel (nor does it claim to be) but it is very clean, decent amenities, a really comfortable bed in a quiet room (we had a triple) and a very good and abundant breakfast. Lots of good eating places in the area. Did I mention it is steps away from the Termini Rail station if you have an early departure, as we did?? Would stay here again with no hesitation.

Very close to Termini is the main attraction. Room was quite small and the older gentleman on reception was very unhelpful! Everything seemed like a bother ! There was a younger man who was most helpful. We have stayed here before but not sure that we would again.

convenient to the Roma Termini

It was close to the train station, but the place was kind of rundown. The bathroom was nice, but the decor was dingy and old.

Complained repeatedly about AC not working. Manager claimed AC not on until May, but our friends staying in room next door had AC working just fine. He even came into our room trying to fix it, then later gives me this ridiculous story about not available until May! Only positive was one block from Rome Termini as we were taking train to venice.

Only the location is good, and the rest is poor.

Location is great. Just 5 minutes from the Roma Termini.

Hotel room clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, minutes away from the train station. When arriving Hotel Rimini the exterior awning reads Hotel Corot. A bit confusing, but there is a sign on the door with Hotel Rimini. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Really good hotel given its price. Only thing that could be improved is the breakfast selection. But it’s a very small thing. Nothing wrong with it. I would definitely come back.

Excellent stay

Hotel Rimini offered exactly what I was hoping for - a nice clean hotel to finish off my last 2 days in Rome after a 3 week vacation. It is close to the rail station and many of the Rome sites. It was small and simple (a coffee maker would be nice) but gave me what I needed.

is really central but the hotel needs to update some stuff like mattresses and beds sheets. It looks really old. They are so nice to allow us to leave our luggage after checking out. They also provide a lot of towels and shampoo.

I can recommend Hotel Rimini

I have stayed at this Hotel twice, and I trust this place. This second time the wi-fi was out the first day but they got it fixed that night. When I left the room for the train station I forgot my camera lens shade but the front desk told me so I was very happy. I will always stay here when I am in Rome, and I can recommend it to you.

The staff helped us with an early check in and were very friendly and accommodating. Comfortable lounge for waiting in between travel times. Very comfy bed and pillows. AC feels great. Dark quiet sumptuous room. Literally right across the street from Roma Termini. Took 3 minutes to walk to the station. Good restaurants nearby (Saravanaa Bhavan). Good hot water. Clean. We will be back

Very nice and convenient. It is practically across the street from Roma Termini. The front desk was very helpful in getting us a taxi to the airport.

I like the location of this hotel...right across from Roma terminal and 5 minutes walk to the the hop on hop off bus stop. Nice!!! And the breakfast was really good too.

convenience versus comfort

Though close to the train station which is convenient, the condition of Hotel Rimini does not match the photos nor expectations for the price. Worn-down rooms and bathroom, some ants on the floor, old blankets -- all left a nervous feeling of discomfort. Another frustration was the key card, which we had to reactivate four times. As we were on the 6th floor, the extra trip down and up after a day of walking the streets was a bit exhausting. Showers and bed were fine, and though we didn't eat the breakfast, it was as you would expect. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a good location, it's a bit outdated. However I had a bad experience finding bed-bugs in my room. They immediately changed me room, but still it's a very bad experience.

I stayed at Hotel Rimini September, 25-28, 2022. I wanted to be close to Roma Termini, the main train station. It was less than 300 yards away. I arrived to early too check in, but the day manager gladly let me leave my bag. Upon check in, I was impressed with the room's size, queen size bed, decent closet. Big shuttered window that was able to be opened for fresh air, but sealed out street noise when closed. There was a TV, I never figured out how to turn it own. Wasn't in Rome to watch TV! The bathroom was very nice, updated with a nice stand up shower, plenty of hot water. There was a bidet, I left that alone! lol Had a problem with my in room safe, housekeeping was there immediately, and fixed the problem. Nice little restaurant next door to the hotel. Had my cappuccino and croissant there every morning. If you're looking for a reasonably priced room located near all the transportation, that has superior customer service, Hotel Rimini is the place! I hope to visit Rome again next year and will stay at Hotel Rimini! Ciao`

Disappointing

The positive is that the hotel is 1 block from the Termini train station, but I would not book here again. Guests should be aware that the room temperature is managed by the front desk. You are not able to adjust the temperature yourself. When we arrived, the room was very warm. The instructions were to call the front desk, but the phone in the room didn't work so had to go to the front desk. They only wanted to put it to 22 C, but I was able to get to convince them to put it at 20 C. Also, the plug in on one side of the bed did not work.

Too old ,need remodelation

Good hotel in a very convenient location. Central station is very close. Public transport and tour buses are also nearby. Staff was nice to us.

Close to train station

I stayed here for about a week and absolutely loved it! The location was great (right by Roma Termini). Beds were pretty comfortable. Only downside is I should have asked if they had a fan as we needed to leave our door open for a little while to get a cross breeze after exploring everyday. Breakfast was great also! Everybody we encountered were nice and friendly even with a little language barrier at times.

The hotel is very close to the train station and several little cafés. Our room was very small & tight to move in. The bed was very hard and the pillows were flat as pancakes. The bathroom was a step up which isn't an issue until the middle of the night. The bathroom is so tight you have to go in sideways. The shower leaked water all over the floor. It was so small i kept hitting my elbows when washing. There was no A/C. No breakfast provided either. The is one desk guy that is an absolute grouch.the other guy was very nice & helpful.

I like this hotel it just needs a mini snack,around is dirty and makes me sad because I love Rome. Service very good at the front desk be able to speak to languages for me. Clean room,bathrooms clean with everything that need like hair drier . Thank you. One thing not that great the bed to hard.

Ideal location next to the main station

It was ok, I had an issue with the roof leaking at 12am and I was taking a train a 6am but thet tried to help.

good value for money. It's an old hotel, with old furniture, old mattress, but I got a room for a very cheap price. I cannot list anything very negative, good choice for 1 night.

Great location near Roma Termini railway station. Short walk with luggage. The main reason we chose this hotel. Plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. Have seen this area described as the "gritty" part of Rome, but we found it very handy to everything and did not feel unsafe walking around the area at night. Plenty of people around. Room was comfortable, staff were good, breakfast was good, wifi was good.

Great location and room clean, pleasant staff, very nice continental breakfast. Unfortunately water pressure in toilet inadequate for flushing which was embarrassing and I was disappointed to have no coffee or tea or cup to make a cuppa.

I liked the property although I was not aware of anything unique.

Friendly but small and not a great area

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, however, the hotel room was extremely small and not very clean. The area it was in was even dirtier. Trash lined the streets and nighttime was very noisy.

Great location. Near Roma Termini train station, shops, and restaurants. Room has old decor which makes you feel like you're in Italy. I like the fact that there is a urinal along with a separate toilet in the bathroom. Elevator and cable TV service needs to be updated. Window shutters outside room were loose and constantly moving back and forth when the wind blew, but only a minor distraction. I would recommend this hotel!

Tiny rooms but in a great location.

Good locstion

Generally good location. Very noisy though with Indians hanging out below yelling all.night. Go od breakfast bar in the mornings. But please management if your reading this please buy some new mattresses they are like sleeping on concrete blocks. Maybe invest in a handyman fix some small things like power points half hanging out of the walls. Reception staff I thought were quite short but then I realized it's just Rome in general nobody goes out of there way to help you in anyway. But over all if I ever went back to Rome again would possibly stay there again provided they updated the mattress. As when travelling it's essential to get a good night's rest.

Hotel Rimini

Hotel Rimini is 5 minutes away from Termini station. The area is not the best in Rome, but is safe and the location is very comfortable regarding the two crossing lines of the subway, bus stop to the airport and all facilities that you have at the station. The hotel is old, but our room was perfectly cleaned every day. The staff is very polite. There was a breakfast included. It is ideal for budget tourists.

Yuck

Did not get the room we booked, we were given a much smaller room, hotel room smelled terrible. Had to open all windows but it didn't help. Smelled like sauerkraut, and not in a good way. Uncomfortable beds. Very dusty stairwells. Plus side, large bathroom. Breakfast was decent. Less than 2 blocks to Termini.

The hotel was comfortable and while the location was excellent, it was very overpriced.

Small Hotel near Train Station

The rooms were small, clean and bathrooms were good. AC worked well, refrig., TV with English channel, breakfast very nice. Elevator tiny and slow. Location one block from train station great for access.

Big bed, small room, good value

I had a small room, so it was the cheapest available, but there was room to move around the large bed, and everything one needed was there. Outside the room -shared with the room next door - was a sizable sitting room with television and comfy chairs. The big bed was comfy, the bathroom small but modern, clean and workable. I had a view onto the street on the first floor but it was quiet. I think this was very good value.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Rimini. It's not luxurious, but all the essentials are there: clean rooms, air-conditioning, free wi-fi, pleasant and helpful staff, good breakfast, proximity to many places of interest, metro... The hotel is across the street from Termini railway station. We felt safe in the neighbourhood. Be aware that the tourist tax is charged on top of your hotel price. It is 4 euros per person per day for hotel Rimini.

Perfect location.

We arrived in Rome, and revisited there our first day, staying a night at the Rimini. Then took a train (2 blocks from Hotel) to Peastrum and Amalfi staying 1 night at each location. In Sorrento we stayed 5 days and visited from there, Sorrento, Naples and Capri. Returned to Rome, staying again at the Rimini for 2 nights to enjoy our old favorites in Rome. Worked out very well. Comfortable, convenient and well priced. Recommend.

Perfect location for a 1 night stay.

It was a perfect location for a 1 night stay. We were leaving for a cruise the next day and this was great.

Good 3 star hotel

Stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and couldn't really fault it. Nice clean room breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful.Would stay at this hotel again if in Rome

Perfect in many ways

Hotel Rimini was excellent for our requirements and the location is wonderful as a base for exploring Rome, staff were very courteous and helpful although we didn't have much interaction really as we prefer to "wing it" on holiday rather than asking about organised tours etc. The room was ideal, very clean and well appointed and the size was just fine too with an excellent air conditioning system which we were very grateful for during the very hot nights! On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rimini and in fact will try to book there again when we return to Rome next year.

Hotel was closed, moved to a complete dump

This is a hotel for Italian speaking guests only. Hotel was closed when we arrived even though they told Expedia they were fully booked. We were moved to their other hotel that was a complete tip. If we had not arrived so late we would have gone somewhere else. Toilet seat broken and not attached to the toilet and the shower curtain and floor was a joke. We stayed in the sister hotel owned by the same people so if this is the same avoid. People were nice but no english was spoken by the main staff. They had one young guy who was there for a few hours each day incase there were issues. Breakfast and coffee were great.

Extremely close to Termini station location is good for that. Room nothing special and not very comfortable but did the job for one night

Nice location, walking distance to Roma Termini

If you are looking for a good place to stay at Rome near the main public transportation center (Termini Station), this is a good choice! we used it to sleep and eat breakfast, which was very good. Comfortable bed, with complete bathroom, hot water, very clean. Breakfast was fresh, fruits, yogurt, breads, etc. Accepted our bags before check in. Honored booking established price.

Well located budget.

Within walking or bus distance of all major attractions, next to the main train station and very close to the drop off by the airport shuttle bus. Getting any closer involves paying a premium so its a balance. For the price, a good hotel, rooms are clean, well appointed and have all required facilities. Would benefit from coffee/tea making facilities. Having a safe in the room is a must in Rome, their is no charge for this facility unlike some higher rated hotels - so a plus point for me. Breakfast is a good range and quality. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Would recommend for mid range budget travellers, can't comment on suitability for children/families. One downside is a very small single lift for 6 floors - but this is common to all hotels in this area. For the price, 9/10 for quality vs price.

The hotel can be seen from the train station, it's so close. The room was quiet and the bathroom spotless. The bed was as hard as a rock but surprisingly comfortable! Breakfast was very adequate. The carpets need cleaning in the hallways but the room had hardwood floors that were very clean. All the walls need paint. There is a wonderful restaurant on the next corner. We are seniors and needed a room close to the train so we could get to the port for a cruise.

Great hotel. Great location. Using since 1992

My family and I always travel every year overseas. When in Rome we always stay in Rimini and have recommended to a lot of my friends.

Expensive for what you get; tiny room & bathroom

Stayed for five nights in a small and uncomfortable room & bathroom. Terrible pillows. Excellent location for the train and bus to airport/port but seedy area. Very good breakfast compared to continental elsewhere. Staff terse but good. Expensive for a small, darkish, uncomfortable room. Cleverly interior decorated. Free wifi good.
