Biggest room I've ever had and great atmosphere

The room was amazingly big. I had living room area with large sofa and huge coffee table, very big bed, very nice toilette with bath and shower with jets and also a nice nature-view balcony. Very nice staff and really pleasant stay.

The rooms are enormous and the service from all staff was really a 5/5. Free spa amenities wet and dry saunas, hot tub, pool with nice robes and slippers provided with the room. There are only 22 rooms so they get to know each guest very quickly. Great stay and would highly recommend.

It is very sad to be in a hotel that in her time must have been the greatest thing in the capital. Today, at 2 pm, after my room was cleaned, the maid explained that I would not have any towels until 5 pm. I called at 5:30, the 6 pm then 7 to ask for towels. They arrived at 7:30. But to no avail, as when I awoke to take my shower before my flight back to Miami, the entire hotel did not have hot water. This is not acceptable and I am asking for a refund for at least tonight.

Love this hotel. Friendly front desk staff and super big and comfortable room with all the amenities we needed. It you need to have a car cos it’s about 30min drive to Lyon.

Large high end rooms. Excellent service. Reasonably close to Lyon (though a car is necessary). Highly recommended.

Very nice and can be better

It was an overnight stay on our way to Nice. The room is very big with a terrace, the front desk speaks very good English and is very helpful with questions. It was end of November so the place is quiet too, and we had a great rest. Initially I was concerned about any noise issue with the Casino next door, and it turned out to be fine since these are two separate buildings. A few details can be improved considering this is a 5-star hotel: bathroom/toilet could be more clean, one of the double sink did not drain. Overall we had a great stay and would come back again.

Lovely hotel - our room was huge and had a nice balcony. The bathroom is well equipped and had a jacuzzi bath, which my daughter particularly loved. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. The grounds are beautiful - they connect to a forest.

The room was great and the staff was friendly. Hotel is clean and decorated nicely. The 5 star restaurant was completely booked so we didn’t get to try it. Both restaurants are in the casino - don’t leave your passport in the room, they won’t let you in without it. The spa was less exciting than advertised, but the treatment we got was really good.

See above. Also, we could not get into the restaurant for dinning so we drove back to Lyon.

Checking into this property was a Regal experience! From the moment you entered the hotel, you were treated like royalty! The grounds are spectacular, our room, 22, was enormous, with a private balcony and an automatic awning. We would especially like to thank Julia, Leo, Jared, Nelly, and Denise for taking such good care of us. It was so difficult to check out; we wanted to extend our stay to forever. We would especially like to thank Julie, Denise, Nellie, Jared, and Leo for all their attentiveness and courtesy. We look forward to seeing you again!!

Beautiful location in a lovely village Staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. To our surprisse we were upgraded to a stunning suite with hammam and a most spacious room.

Amazing Room!

This was the best room we've stayed in EVER! It was beautiful, spacious and welcoming and had a lovely balcony with a view. The bathroom was AMAZING -- huge, double sinks, big soaker tub and HUGE shower/sauna with all the accoutrements you'd expect. The front desk attendant was friendly, knowledgable and very helpful. We wish we hadn't had another hotel booked for the next day or our road trip as we'd have LOVED to stay here another night instead. There were additional spa facilities but because we were only there one evening and left the next day, we didn't have time to check them out.

Great hotel but let down by service

Overall great, but: room service breakfast arrived 30 mins late and was poor. Not what you'd expect from a 1 star kitchen! Still the room was great.

Great service, beautiful hotel

We had such an enjoyable stay here! The hotel was quiet even though it is located just 200 meters from the casino. The room was beautiful, just as advertised. We were too late to receive breakfast in the restaurant on Sunday morning, but were quickly given a seat in the lobby and were able to enjoy a perfect breakfast. Though it was a 30 minute drive outside of Lyon (which is where we spent our weekend), it was worth the drive.

It was a bit difficult to locate the hotel ，，even with the help of GPS But it is worth to find it as the hotel was impeccable The staff was very pleasant and helping It was a very pleasant stay and we shall go back

Little gem to escape from the busy world

Lovely surrounding and the room is very spacious. The nearby local village offers all the daily necessities and driving further 10 minutes, you got other choices of restaurants and shops in Tassin. Very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed four nights and use the free Park and Ride going into Lyon, very convenient but got to be early as this is a popular choice for most drivers. You can also use the local train just next to the hotel going into Lyon centre for exchanging to the Metro.

Very nice

It is difficult to rate the neighborhood. If you want to be in the city, it would be a -; if you like to be in a nature surroundings, it is a +++++. The rooms are gorgeous; the restaurant is worth the splurge. The only thing that we did not like is that the breakfast is expensive and there is little variety offered. We would certainly go back to the hotel, but would take breakfast somewhere else.

Excellent hotel...exceeded our expectations

This was the last of several places we stayed in during a two-week tour of France, and we loved it. The rooms were a great size, well-appointed and comfortable. The setting is lovely, and the front-desk staff were very helpful. The location is in the "suburbs" of Lyon, and given that it was the tail end of a long trip, we weren't sure we wanted to deal with the hassle of going into the city. However, there's a train stop literally in the back yard of the hotel, and it couldn't have been easier to get into the old town, no car or cab necessary. Lyon is beautiful, so we were glad we made the effort.

Luxury hotel in the woods

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, rooms were spacious, staff friendly, and very accessible to old Lyon by train. Dining options were minimal however, and many restaurants in the area were closed through the week.

Exceptional Service

We arrived very late after driving from Spain. The front desk attendant went out of her way to make us welcome.The property itself is in a small town only a few kilometers from Lyon. The grounds are lovely, rooms were extremely comfortable and well appointed. The only negative was the absence of certain bathroom amenities(which probably would have been remedied if we had arrived earlier). All in all an excellent property.

Huge luxurious rooms, beautiful spa and lovely food

After 20 years of international travel this is the Everest of Hotels

Travelling with my wife and 2 young children is a challenge. From the moment we opened the door to our 75 square metre room with 2 individual,high quality camp beds for the girls to the presentation of the room service meals to the amazing service,food quality and ambience of our meal in the 2 Michelin Star restaurant our expectations continued to be exceeded. The 2 Star standard exudes throughout. When was the last time the chef the restaurant is named after enquired after your satifaction with your breakfast service? If style,understated elegance and quality of presentation is something you will enjoy stay here at least once. We booked for 2 days. I am writing this on day 4.

Séjour très bien, rien à dire c'est un très bon hôtel

Bon hôtel, je recommande !

Très bon hôtel, chambre spacieuse avec grande douche et baignoire, espace SPA au top avec des employées aux petits soins pour les clients extérieurs ou ceux de l'hôtel. Petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner que je trouve digne d'un 2 ou 3* avec un prix abusif (30€ par personne). La localisation est top avec la gare à 50m pour se rendre en 20minutes à Lyon et ne pas être embêté avec la voiture.

Grosse déception

Décor hidylique de l’hôtel avec grand parc, piscine et spa. Cependant, nous avions réservé une chambre de 55 m2. Or celle qui nous a été attribuée n’en faisait que 40 alors que le personnel affirmait qu’elle en faisait 55, ce qui est une grotesque tromperie . Aucun geste commercial ne nous a été proposé quand nous avons signalé l’anomalie. Le personnel s’est alors montré de mauvaise foi et même désagréable en particulier le chef de la restauration. Nous ne reviendrons pas, c’est bien dommage car l’hôtel en lui même est magnifique. Petit déjeuner peu fourni, indigne d’un hôtel 5 étoiles et personnel abscent.

A éviter, Une seule personne au commande de l'hôtel. Accueil, voiturier, accompagnement en chambre… pas digne d’un 5 étoiles. Au spa dans son jus, on a l’impression d’être dans l'hôtel de la peur. En pleine nuit musique a fond dans la chambre voisine, le gardien nous dit qu’il n’entend rien et que de tout façon il ne peut pas entrer dans les chambres.

Du jamais vu

Jamais vu cela dans un 5 étoiles. La propreté tant le service ne sont absolument pas à la hauteur du prestige revendiqué par l’établissement.

Hôtel agréable et entretenu, Personnel sympathique. Chambre très propre, confortable et spacieuse avec terrasse. Parking gratuit en extérieur proche de l'hôtel et du casino Moquette tachée et un lavabo bouché, pommeau de douche fixe ne fonctionnait pas (filet d'eau), un peu dommage par rapport au tarif

Superbe chambre spacieuse et luxueuse. Très bonne literie. Endroit et cadre idyllique. Accès au spa et piscine très facile Bémol : petit déjeuner 30€, en deçà de ce qu'on peut attendre pour un tel prix.

On a adoré notre séjour qu'on a trouvé trop court du coup ! Les chambres sont très spacieuses et confortables et le service est top. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas donné mais les produits sont très frais et de qualité.

Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider wurde das Restaurant gerade renoviert. Die Aussenterrasse war trotz herrlichem Sommerwetter geschlossen. Große Baustelle am Nachbargrundstück. Hier wird das Casino renoviert. Das Zimmer war überdurchschnittlich groß.

Ils m on annuler ma Chambre à la dernière minute pour un soit disant dégât des eaux, alors que j étais sur la route avec mes enfants. Hôtel complet pas de chambres à disposition, ils me proposent d essayer de me loger dans un autre hôtel… sympa nuit réserver à plus de 350€ on me propose des hôtels alentours à 90€ la nuit.. bref je me suis débrouiller seule avec mes enfants. Plus jamais. J attends maintenant le remboursement total, a ce jour je n ai aucune nouvelle ni de l hôtel ni du site hôtel.com.

Relaxant service au top

시설은 환상적이나 카지노호텔로 일반투숙객에 대한 배려가 되어있지 않다. 리옹시내까지 기차로 20분 걸리며 기차가 일찍 끊혀 호텔로 돌아갈 때 택시를 이용할 수밖에 없었고 44유로 나옴. 기차배차시간 간격이 매우 길다.

Nous avions réservé une suite très spacieuse de 75 m2. Elke était très confortable avec baignoire et douche multiple jets Un bonheur !!!!!

Excellente expérience seul bémol, on paye une réservation pour 2 adulte et 2 enfants à la base et on doit ajouter un supplément de 35€ si on souhaite l’ouverture et la préparation du canapé lit !

Bon séjour dans l’ensemble A 15h40 le ménage n’était pas effectué, le sèche cheveux ne fonctionne pas et la moquette aurait besoin d’être changé Nous étions déjà venus il y a environ 5ans et nous étions dans la même chambre et seul le tapis a été enlevé ce qui laisse des traces noires au sol .Dommage. Par contre belle vue et petit déjeuner parfait Nous reviendrons

Très agréable séjour, comme toujours, dans cet établissement de standing et de qualité. Mer mci aux équipes de s’être montrées disponibles et attentionnées pour notre petit garçon.

Chambre deluxe très spacieuse avec grande terrasse. Très calme. Espace piscine propre et très relaxant. Nous avons dîner au restaurant gastronomique et ce fut un feu d’artifice pour nos papilles! Je recommande fortement.

Bel endroit mais service inexistant. Souvenir personnel a la reception , au bar idem. Au petit dej il faut demander et re-demander la nourriture car rien n’est rempli au fur et a mesure. Piscine sale deja le matin.
