Staff was friendly. Room was clean and provided some basic needs at reception if you needed them. The hotel is close to the kanazawa station amount other public transport access. There's even a convince store right next door in case you need anything else before you leave for the day

Not bad

Service was good, I received new towels every day. Breakfast service is a buffet style. Room layout is pretty nice for solo, may be a bit small for family. Hotel is pretty conveniently located right next to Omicho Market.

Overall it was a nice and clean place to stay, however the room was too warm and it was centrally controlled aircon which was set to heat. The window didn’t open enough to allow airflow.

The rooms and the hallway on 2nd floor had the loudest noise the whole time. Anyone who walks on the 2nd floor towards the end of the hallway will hear it very loud and clear. When I open the room door, the noise stops, and when I close the room door, the loud noise comes back on. It sounds to be bad construction of the hallway ventilation system.

Well located hotel

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-located to access both the station (15 minute walk), the fish market (across the street), and the old parts of town (15 minute walks). The hotel staff are very helpful and speak adequate English. The rooms are on the smaller side, which is normal in Japan, and if you have a lot of luggage, you may find it a bit tricky to find space to put it and to get into it. The hotel offers a laundry area so I recommend that you pack light and just plan to do laundry if you plan a longer trip. They (as well as the other 4 properties at which we stayed) also provide large, refillable (i.e. not single use) bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash so you can save suitcase space by not packing those toiletries. The property also offers some queen sized beds if, like my husband, you are very tall or, as in my case, very pregnant. My favorite feature of this property was the deep soaking tub; however, as the shower is in the tub, you may have a bit of trouble getting into and out of it if you suffer mobility problems (particularly hip or knee issues).

Not impressed

Had terrible time at check in due to misunderstanding check in time. Sorted it out for an extra charge but was not impressed by staff interaction.

Hotel seems new and well kept. A lot of extras inside room eg air freshener, charging cables even toiletries nicely packed and encourage you to take home as souvenir. Free parking tho about 100m away. Staff friendly n helpful. Value for money

Reception close at midnight, 1am we had to knock on window to find staff and gain access e.g. no door bell. Beside 7-Elevan, opposite fish markets and easy 10 minutes walk to main JR railway station. Central to main attractions, nice train ride to Uchinada beach where you can hire bicycle to explore that area.

The situation is ideal, the staff was extremely polite and effective! The room has everything I needed and it was clean.

Good location and staff were very friendly. Thought the hallways and room smelt a little funny (like a sweat smell) when I first checked in but eventually got used to it. Easy check in and rooms were clean. Bed was comfy.

Great location right near central market. Easy walk to Geisha district. Room is very small for 2 people, but since we didn't spend much time there it was OK. Need to improvise for 2 suitcases. Comfortable bed and bathroom.

Comfortable stay

Nice, comfortable beds. Great location. Shuttle bus loop stop right out the door and you can buy tickets in the hotel. The market across the street and an easy walk to the palace. Breakfast buffet adequate and available parking.

We had a twin room which had plenty of room, free toiletries and very quiet. Had a great nights sleep. Location was good opposite the ohmachi fish market and bus stops outside. Free green tea downstairs and a restaurant which we didn't use but plenty of other people did

Hotel of Friendliness and Convenience

The hotel may take 10-15 minutes to reach, on foot, it provides the necessary amenities that one will need. Especially when you're going to be in Kanazawa for some days and you need your clothes to be washed, the coin laundry that provides both washing and drying function would be the best amenity. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are easy access to shopping malls and convenience stores. It was definitely an enjoyable stay at Hotel Resol Trinity Kanazawa!

Perfect location, Very comfortable room

Ideal location for those visiting the polular spots in Kanazawa. Lots of restaurants in several nearby malls for dinner. Bus station very near the hotel.

Excellent stay

Overall, the stay was excellent. Great location and condition of the hotel itself and the room. Only downside was the cigarette smell in the lobby even though there was no one smoking in there. Might be due to ventilation system and how it recycles air in the lobby.

A very comfortable hotel

The staff are professional and friendly and the services here are very good. The rooms are a little small even for Japan standards but they were clean and very well maintained. The restaurant is very expensive and only serves Italian food, which isn't what I visited Japan for but there are many options in the area, except at breakfast which can be very difficult to find a simple western style breakfast in the immediate area. But overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Hotel next to Omicho Market

Hotel is within 200m of Omicho Market and the Kanazawa Castle is about 500m away so good location. Only issue was arrived on New Years Eve and there was a lack of places to eat as normally open places closed for the celebrations.

Good location and a great hotel. Lovely rooms and more space than the average Japanese hotel rooms. Very clean and modern. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be staying again next time.

Nice hotel with some drawbacks

On the whole, this is a good hotel, very clean and great staff. We were happy that we could walk around both sides of the bed, ie one side was not pushed against a wall as in many Japanese hotels. The drawbacks were that there was a decided smell of cigarette smoke in the foyer/reception area; and that we couldn't adjust our room air-conditioning down to a cooler temperature as it was set by the hotel. Also, it was a bit of a distance from the main train station.

Cosy hotel in good location

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Resol Trinity. They helped us reserve tickets for the tour at the Ninja Temple which we weren't able to do without speaking Japanese. Tons of free toiletries and refreshments for the room. Great location opposite Omicho market and right by a bus stop for the loop bus. It's also located only 15 minutes walk away from the main station.

Central, comfortable, quiet and clean

This hotel is well located, walking distance to most tourist sites. The room was 'Japanese Sized', but efficiently laid out and comfortable.

We loved staying at the Hotel Resol Trinity Kanazawa! Great location near everything we wanted to visit, right across the street from the seafood market, and the room was very comfortable and spacious!

Hotel is small in scale but comfortable. Staff are nice and helpful. Parking slot is right behind the hotel, it is very convenient with reasonable parking fee.

Wonderful stay! The room was nicely appointed with many amenities. Loved the tea pot in the room and the complementary tea in the lobby. The staff was always gracious and helpful. The breakfast buffet was nicely priced and had good variety.

Hotel in Kanazawa

This hotel was fine but it wasn't as good as I had expected from the ratings online. Maybe we came at a bad time? When we arrived at the hotel there was a big tour group in reception. It was very busy and noisy. This happened a few times, kind of offputting as there was no room for us to chill out with a cup of tea and it was hard to get staff attention to check in and out. Service was ok, I think they were a bit overwhelmed by all the groups maybe and didn't have time to lavish us with attention. The best thing was the bath although they forgot our bath salts on the first night. Location is good, between the station and the sights. Did our washing in the coin laundry which was very convenient. Also someone was in the corridor with their screaming child at 4am which woke us up...not the hotel's fault but if people are noisy in the corridor you will hear it!

Location was easily accessible to all areas, from the station to Kanazawa Castle, a wonderful walkable city, with the fish market a two minute stroll, where we had the most amazing fresh oysters and a great latte to!

This is a really well located hotel, just near the market and a short walk to the gardens. The staff is very kind, helping us with dinner reservations and giving a small gift pack to our young son. Definitely recommend it!

Kanazawa is a beautiful place to spend a couple of days and the Resol Trinity is close to everything, not least the markets with fresh food and many eateries.

Welcoming friendly staff in this very convenient location 15 mins walk to station and bus 1 minute walk. Room was quiet with lots of thoughtful extras. Breakfast and dinner in restaurant fresh food and excellent value. Highly recommend .
