Fab location

Was a pleasant stay. They were very hospitable. Fab location.

This hotel is in a great location, only a few steps from Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas. We take the Aerobús from the airport right to Placa Catalunya and walk across the park to the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a balcony room which was nice. The restaurant was closed for construction but they sent us next door to a sister hotel for a great breakfast.

Location is fantastic! Small boutique hotel. Good sized room. Great breakfast. Nice washroom. Just a little dark. The only knock would be - I had to wait a long time for my room to be ready! Got there very early from my cruise (8am) didn’t expect my room to be ready. But we had 3 rooms booked and my cousins room was ready. The said the other two rooms would be ready between 12-3pm. We got back at 2pm. The second room was ready. But my room wasn’t ready until 3:15!!!! It was a discouraging waiting in the lobby that long!! The girl at the front desk was very nice and apologized! But we still didn’t get our room before the allotted time of 3:00pm. I assume they don’t have enough staff to clean the rooms because if you need to be out by 11:00. It shouldn’t take 4 hours to clean. And my room should’ve been prioritized since we arrived early.

Excellent location close to centre of the city. Hotel itself is clean but hallways leading to the rooms was very dark with limited lighting. Rooms are spacious, bright and clean. Weird thing is that hotel only provides 4 pods of coffee for your stay no refills and asks you to pay for extra.

The staff is terrific and the location is great. Don’t have any issues with the hotel but will not use Hotels.com or other booking sites in the future. Not sure how such deals are arranged but certainly these types of reservations don’t get the “attention” as those booked directly. Despite booking months in advance, the location of the rooms left much to be desired but I guess you get what you pay for.

Amazing staff

I booked a family room for 4 adults. The room was surprisingly very clean and well appointed with nice beds and bathroom. Very close to Placa Catalunya and several good restaurants and attractions. Staff was very nice.

A great stay!

Location is the only good thing about this hotel. Not even water in the room! An empty water is waiting for you to fill it in a nasty looking water fountain in the hallway. I won’t recommend it to any family members nor friends. Dark and old, best way to describe it.

Very central

The hotel was very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the best customer service. A special thank you to Juliana for excellent customer service during breakfast every morning. The hotel is walkable distance to whatever you need.

Our experience with Hotel Regina was great! The room was spacious, and clean. The hotel and rooms are updated with a modern flare. The best part of our stay was the hotel manager. He was extremely friendly and helpful, which was tremendously important to us; and for that, we will stay again.

Great location, amazing staff, hotel itself was luxurious and modern. Would definitely stay again. Downsides were noisy street at night and could hear noise from hotel hallway/other rooms.

Rooms are old and they gave me a room on the ground floor with no windows I felt like I would suffocate and with my claustrophobia I told them to change the room to the highest floor. They were mean and not accommodating. Finally they switched to 4th floor but they promised 5th floor. So I will never recommend anyone to stay there. Waste of money.

The hotel was very well located within walking distance of most attractions. It was lively and felt safe. The hotel itself was very clean and room was very spacious. Little amenities like safe, coffee machine and robes made it extra luxurious. Room cleaning was very efficient. Breakfast had ample choice. Would highly recommend this hote.

Lovely stay! Easy to catch the metro close by or walkable from lots of restaurants and shops. Although it’s near a busy plaza, the room itself was very quiet.

Nice hotel in a great location. We only needed it for two nights before going on a cruise. We were able to get a room that slept 4 of us. The two "extra" beds were very hard, but the staff happily provided us with extra comforters/ duvets to provide a softer sleeping surface for my kids. Staff ws very friendly, helpful and communicated very well.

Room and inside the hotel was updated and clean. Staff were friendly and polite. Buffet breakfast was good. Hotel location was close to the action but just outside the hustle and bustle. The area outside the hotel at the corner was smelly.

Staff was very helpful friendly, and always wanted to make aour stay pleasant. Very comfortable, and convenient to public transportation, taxis at the front door, nearby, and walking distance to some of the most see attractions. Restaurants nearby. Offer bathrobe, and slipper, water fountain in the hallway, elevators, toiletries, and blow-dry hair. I highly recommend this place.

Such a fantastic location!! Close to most main attractions and right next to the metro station making it super easy to get around. They had a taxi rank just outside the hotel, making this even more convenient if you wanted a lazy option. We received a room upgrade as part of our expedia VIP access and it was incredibly spacious with a separate seating area. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provide some great tapas and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!

Updated Beautiful old building

Regina hotel was beautiful, the space was so tranquil and clean. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for anyone looking to stay close to many tourist attractions in Barcelona. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Great place to stay. Location is ideal for first time travels to Barcelona. Walking distance to Gothic Quarters, and Las Ramblas. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff is bilingual and super friendly. I highly recommend for first time travellers to Spain.

Wouldn't stay again

The rooms were nothing like the photos. We also had to move rooms due to the smell of the sewers at the back of the property.

Amazing breakfast. Perfect location. Connect you to an airport shuttle service which worked out really well. Very clean.

The Regina Hotel was excellent. We had interconnected rooms for family of 5. The AC was cold. The rooms were spacious. The location was very central. Also, we loved the breakfast.

Hotel Regina Best Location in Downtown Barcelona

Hotel Regina was close to everything we wanted to do in downtown Barcelona! Glad we made our choice to stay there.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The day we arrived the desk staff was knowledgeable and courteous. They had a room ready for us when we arrived. They helped us with directions, provided restaurant recommendations, and transportation guidance. Our room was fantastic; very comfortable and clean. The linens were really nice; we loved the pillows. The breakfast buffet had everything we could have wanted and the servers were very nice. May, our bartender in the afternoon and evening was super helpful and provided guidance about restaurants and was very attentive. Overall it was exactly what we wanted...a terrific hotel with wonderful amenities and outstanding staff.

The property location was amazing. However the room was very small and the balcony was not usable so ended up just being a large window. Every time a large vehicle passed the room would also vibrate. But other than that. The room was great.

I loved Hotel Regina and would definitely go back. The breakfast is fabulous, the cocktails and tapas in the lobby bar are inventive and delicious. The hotel is super clean and very well maintained. The single thing I didn't love was the frequent sound of water running down my wall from - I assume - the room above mine. Such a small thing, though, and i learned to almost appreciate it after a few days. Staff is friendly and helpful... REally, a wonderful experience!!

From the moment we stepped in the hotel the reception was excellent. They spoke good english, very polite and client oriented. The hotel location is excellent. The neighbourhood is lively, convenient and feels safe. Our room was a good size, very clean and the beds and air in the room were comfy. Shower is good. We stayed 10 nights and everyday the cleaning, towels and sheets were changed. Because we had VIP we received some perks (fruits, cookies and a room with a small balcony and natural light). I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, shopping, dining, transport to bus, metro, taxis, walking tours etc…it is so convenient. The staff and location is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hotel Regina is an amazing hotel! The location is central to almost everything and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The family room was perfect for what we needed and was very clean. The only thing we didn't love was the noise from the street, but it's a city and there will always be cars honking and speeding at night.
