Decent Stay with Great Transport Links
Pulitzer is an average but functional hotel. The rooms are clean but a bit dated, and the amenities are basic. Service was polite but not exceptional. We were quite disappointed about the lack of empathy shown by the hotel for our situation. We were unfortunately affected by the Heathrow shutdown and asked if the hotel could waive the first nights charge as we wouldn’t make until the next day and all we got was “no, it’s strict hotel policy for no refunds” — we won’t be coming back in a rush. The biggest plus is its location—well-connected to public transport, making it easy to get around. If you need a convenient, no-frills stay, it does the job, but don’t expect anything special.
Room was very small, no place to keep luggage, we have keep our suitcase on chair provided in the room. We have keep the baby stroller also outside our room.
Very nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to train station. Limited menu onsite. Didn’t see many restaurants nearby. Helpful and friendly staff.
Very nice stay. Hotel is clean, comfortable. Service is very good and breakfast is also very good
Wonderful staff
Clean property, a few minutes walk from the metro station. No issues with hot water. We loved our stay. They had a bar/ restaurant we didn’t get the chance to try but very convenient to have the options.
The air conditioning was broke ,room was to hot. Huge charges to use hot tub for 2 hours at a time, restaurant was always closed because of private parties.
the rooms were nice and clean, the people and the service was very good. very good value for the price to stay here. avoided the crowds of a very busy Rome central area overwhelmed with tourists.
For such a nice hotel the only thing I would recommend is the staff perhaps be more welcoming. Even in a mid range hotel in Marrakech we received a warmer welcome with the staff asking if we would like help with selecting sites to see and just being more forthcoming.
Not welcoming and unfriendly
Unfriendly staff, no sufficient services
The hotel offered a very good (many options) buffet breakfast in a comfortable dining room. Our check-in was very pleasant and maid service was attentive. The Metro stop is close by (though it was dirty outside the station and nearby)so it was easy to get into the heart of Rome.
Bad experience, rude staff
Great place , 2 min walk to metro and your on the way to city center
People = great. Food was tasty. Bartender makes a good drink. Room and bed were comfortable. In a very laid back part of town.
Great location just steps from train
Great hotel.
The staff/employees are wonderful, very helpful and responsive. The rooms are clean, however the room we had needs an upgrade in the bathroom (Shower) and a "paint job" on the walls. Our room was on the ground floor, next to the restaurant/kitchen, therefore noisy. The location is roughly 15m-20m by taxi from City Center/Historical Rome. This hotel is a standard 3.5 star.
Great option for early morning flight. Family room was perfect for our family of four (King and 2 twins). Very quiet, with good AC. No problem catching taxi to airport at 3am. Also liked that it’s right on the metro line.
The staff was amazing. Friendly, informative, and went the extra mile to make our trip special. I will forever remember and be grateful for our stay here.
clean rooms. Front desk is very helpful in giving information. check in and check out is very straightforward. Parked right on the street for free, no issues. Room service was great. Very close to the touristic area of Rome but away from the noisy crowd. Absolutely recommend this place.
Very good location for city break, The Metro station about 2 to 3 minute walk, there is few shops and Very nice , Coffe. Bus stop outside the hotel . Clean comfortable, very nice hotel. I recommend this hotel and I will return back for sure
We couldn’t fault our trip. Our room was quiet and the bed was super comfortable. The concierge was always happy to help and provided us with tourist map of Rome so it was easy to navigate. 4 min walk to the metro with trains every 10 min. 5 stops from Coliseum. Fantastic
Hotel was well located within a 5 minute or less walk to Marconi Metro station which got us into main attractions of Rome in 15 to 30 minutes depending on the attraction. Nice to have a mini market pretty much next door to buy sodas, chips, beer and other goodies. Did not like that did not see any eating places close by but did not matter because we ate close to the attractions we visited.
Metro right next door. Easy travel to Rome city center. Clean and spacious room.
Hotel was ok. However, a little far from centro historico.
Comfortable lobby and bar. Rooms nice.
Good value stay close to metro. Breakfast ok. Nothing fancy!
Honestly, I would visit again.
It was a lovely place to stay and the staff were not only friendly but really kind and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good too. I didn't get to try out the dinner but that was because I was always out in the day/evenings.
Уютно, близько метро.
Good
Excellent value for money
The hotel and the room exceeded our expectations. We booked a room for three, and it has two proper beds (one king, one double) and plenty of space for all of us. The staff was friendly and helpful, and being just three minutes walk from the metro station, it's easy to get into the heart of Rome.
Good staff clean kind employers great breakfasts near metro station
Very well kept hotel, just a little out of the way to downtown Rome
The hotel is conveniently located half way between the airport and the train station. It is very close to a metro station.
LIKED: Modern rooms with terrace outdoors DISKIKED: Price did not include brkfst: small rooms and sparse amenities provudes. Hair dryer ' shorted out"!
Ease to commute from Airport
We arrived at the hotel early and were very grateful to the hotel for letting us check in as soon as a room available. The hotel is modern and convenient, with the subway station just a few minutes away. There is also fresh juice and coffee latte that I love for breakfast.
Nice and clean hotel. Large room for 4 persons (not wide choices in Rome), which is located on garden level. Overall is quiet during the day, but can hear water dripping sound in every early morning, which could be restroom facility or other restroom on top of the room. Close to metro, and one bus stop is just front of hotel entrance. Not many restaurants nearby. Hotel has breakfast buffet service (for a reasonable fee) which has great choices of food.
The surrounding area seems like undeveloped or being developed and sub-urban set. But the hotel itself is well built and clean.
Great hotel, it was comfortable and clean. A wise range of choice for the breakfast too. It would have been perfect if it was more towards the centre of Rome, but it's made up by being near a metro station which takes ~15/20 minutes to get to the centre.

Restaurant very limited food item in breakfast.
The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was amazing and worth the money. The area around the hotel was dirty and smelly. At nights, it didn’t seem safe to walk around that area either.
Recommended hotel
Clean rooms. Arrangement of rooms and change of towels every day, safe in the room, excellent buffet style breakfast, desk available 24 hours. Excellent location next to a metro station and a bus station, getting anywhere in the city is very simple using the metro, including getting to and from the airport
The facilities were very comfortable! AC worked very well during very hot days. Staff was wonderful. Location a block from metro, Sabrina was the best :) large room, in room coffee/ espresso maker and large bathroom
Clean rooms and close to the metro station. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing more to add.
Good location near transportation. let us check out late..very helpful staff
Nice clean hotel frindly staff clos to public transport
OK hotel, but very expensive the hotel and area. The actual rooms are much older than the pictures Hotel was clean. Amenities such as the hot tub are extra.
Actually a very nice hotel. It took a while to walk to some places so we ended up taking an Uber most of the time, so that added like $40 per day to the stay. Not many restaurants in the area.
This was the perfect spot for unwinding after a very physical trip from the USA.
Decoration and quality of work. Area was a little off putting the 1st night on our way from the station. It was 10.30pm and there were a few youths hanging about. Also fairly dark on the street.
A little disappointed
I like cooler temperatures and my aaroom was relatively warm making extremely uncomfortable. When i address this with staff, i was informed that at this time of year the air conditioning is turned off, taking the capability of the guest to control their own comfort.
Great stay recommend it with confidence to all ways of traveling
The staff working that day were marvelous!!
The property is nice and convenient if you want to stay outside the city but not too far out. The check in and out was smooth. It was a nice place to stay for an early exit to the airport in the AM. Downside, hookers on the corner at night, it was quite surprising when you walk out the front door and a block away, they are hanging on the corner. Makes you feel a little unsafe as there are some unsavory characters floating around.
Nice
Very friendly - they have to get a better and clearer policy
Hotel is nicely updated, quiet and comfortable. Short distance away from airport by taxi. Subway system is a short walk away, easy to get to downtown and other sights.
Fantastic Accommodations
We were so happy to arrive at this beautiful and welcoming hotel after a two week road trip. The reception was friendly and welcoming. They got us to our rooms quickly and efficiently. The hotel was modern with such an Italian style. The rooms were big and well appointed with lots of pillows, bath accessories and even a cozy pair of slippers. We enjoyed the bar, and even had a delightful dinner at the hotel. All of the staff was friendly and spoke English. They also arranged an outstanding shuttle service to pick us up at our car rental return, and then to the airport. We all enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pulitzer, our only regret being that we were not staying there longer. Very cool and cozy place!
The menu was very limited and did not change for 3 days
Great!
The only problem is that you have to find a place for your car to park
We had a great stay especially for the price during the summer months. The commute to the city isn’t bad you can use either the metro or bus. The staffs were also super kind and accommodating. Huge bonus that they can provide you with a wifi bank if you need one.
Modern hotel, close to airport and metro.
Very nice, modern hotel located in the EUR, a suburb of Rome, 10 minutes from the airport. Service staff was friendly and professional. Hotel felt almost new, with spacious rooms, nice bar and restaurant. I recommend.
The hotel provides kettle and iron. Good breakfast selections
very conveniently located from convention center, very helpful satff, gave free wifi extension and battery backup
place was clean. they have an adorable dog that lives on the property.
5-star review
We had a lovely stay and the accommodations were very comfortable
The interior is beautifully designed and very functional. The staff was exceptional! I would highly recommend this location if you want to be out of the downtown and a little closer to the airport
It was a beautiful hotel with an attentive staff, but it was just kind of far away from the main city. of course the metro was an option, but my boyfriend and i just used our rental car and were lucky enough to find parking. everything was a 20 min drive from the hotel, but other than that, it was perfect.
Great access to the University and to the metro.
The hotel was a 2 minute walk from Metro. It was clean, fast and easy check-in. A cab into the city is around 13-20 Euros and cab to airport is around 35-50 Euros. Staff was helpful regarding things to do and how to get to major attractions. They offered an upgrade but they offer basic amenities. I wish it was near more restaurants or walking distance to the city center. But for the price, just commute to where eateries and attractions.
I would stay here again! Very clean, Modern, Quite, Great food! Friendly staff and we got lucky to find a parking spot free of charge right in front of hotel. Beds and pillows were comfy. Loved their resident dog who's named I forgot. Super cute!
A diamond in the rough...
I absolutely loved this property! Reasonably priced, comfortable, and very modern decor! Upon arrival we were given champagne and snacks during the check in process. The staff was friendly, the rooms are clean, and it’s a 5 minute walk to the train station; I was even given an upgrade to a larger room at no cost! Now for my only gripe; it’s not located in the best part of town; there were a few “Ladies of The Night” situated across the street from the entrance of the hotel. They were scantily clad and would offer their services to any man that walked by. My bottom line: I really really like this hotel! If you stay there, this is not the area you want to walk around in; get an uber or taxi and you should be okay.
Perfect hotel. Goed ontbijt. Mooie kamers. Dichtbij concertgebouw
Great place to stay. I will be back for sure. Thank you
It is very close to subway station. Very nice and open check in check out station
I will stay at this hotel in the future and will recommend to friends and family as well. Literally 2 mins walk to metro.
The hotel is clean and the staff were polite and very professional. Always on hand to help out with any situation. The rooms were of a really good standard. Lovely breakfast and there is a terraced with a hot tub and a lovely little outdoor seating area, which we were fortunate enough to be staying on the same floor of.
Situated in a reasonable neighbourhood with Good access to the Metro. Away from the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant food was good.
nice hotel away from the city center
Very nice business class hotel in a working class neighborhood. It is a 5 min walk from the Marconi Metro Station, Line B. The double room I stayed in was very up to date, good lighting, very comfortable bed, quiet, bath was good size. Very clean and sleek hotel. I took breakfast and it’s well worth it. Huge assortment of food, from scrambled eggs, bacon, prosciutto, large assortment of breads, croissants, etc. Cereals were excellent, all types of yogurt, fresh juices. It really is nice to stay in a hotel that has a nice breakfast. For the price, this hotel is a great value in Rome. If you don’t mind staying away from the center, this hotel can’t be beat. The only downside are restaurants for dinner, not too many. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
Awesome- with a few suggestions
The overall hotel experience was good. Few suggestions: the breakfast could of been better. It was definitely a simple breakfast with bread, powdered eggs, not fully cooked bacon. The fruit was sweet and excellent. The bedroom was small. I requested a superior room and felt it could of been bigger. The balcony was a great added touch. We were provided with portable wifi router and wifi chargers for free. Great. We didnt try room service as the late night meals were very limited in choices. The hot tub was broke and wasn't fixed . We stayed for 6 days and 4 nights. The elevator was tiny. Can fit maybe 2 people with 2 luggages. We met Marco who greeted us when we came to the hotel. He was very gracious and answered the questions we asked. Provided suggestions for food and directions to how to get around. There is even a metro (train) a block away. On Sunday, the metro station was closed, so the hotel provided a shuttle to the city center. Great for the hotel to do. We are Americans who speak English and he was able to understand it all. Overall, the experience was great. Would recommend staying here again.
This hotel was at a great location train station two blocks away bus stop is right in front of hotel. Walking distance to food and store. The restaurant inside hotel the food was great
Decent Stay for price
The room was nice, the staff was great, the bar was nice, the location was good. But, I was off the lobby and it was loud at night. I like quiet after a certain time. So, I can't recommend for that reason. Otherwise it was fine. I would suggest staying on a higher floor and then avoid the lobby noise.
All good! Very good amenities, good location to get downtown
Great place to spend the evening. Close enough to city center via the metro. Must try Il Ponticello pizza, about a 5 mintue walk. Fantastic pizza and local craft beers!
The Pulitzer Rome is a very clean, smart and well kept hotel. The staff are welcoming and willing to help with any request. We ate in the restaurant and the standard of food was good, the only let down is that the breakfast could have been warmer but all in all I would stay again.
Lots of road noise
Great hotel with easy parking.
It was a great experience. Very modern decor. Great breakfast. Very reasonable cost for Rome. Free WiFi that really works.
Staff was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.
Great place to stay in florence. Walking distance to the train station, shopping and amazing restaurants. The staff was super helpful and friend throughout the stay. The breakfast was great as well. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful modern clean & efficient facility. Rooms were a true delight. Breakfast was amazing. Greeting us at check in & check out was very friendly & helpful. But the bartender was not at all friendly or efficient. He didn’t smile or behave friendly. And it took us over 30-45 minutes to get a plate of cheese (hard Parmesan) & prosciutto. Unreasonable length of time for such a simple order. The carbonara was faster & delicious.
Too far from everything important. Subway back didnt work at night and taxi super expensive. Pictures make it look better that it realy is. Prostitution nearby... not at all vacation option, no restaurants but the one at the hotel that was good.
The sheets were all stained up, they kept the same sheet on the bed for one week. Bathroom soap was never there. One male kitchen staff was very rude to us.
Easy check in, clean, big room, decent air conditioning. Dudnt like the fact that there are prostitutes few meters from the entrance and my little kids inquired about it
Place was much nicer than i expected. super clean.
Website says this is a pool on site, however it’s only a jacuzzi and very small.
Very clean rooms and surroundings. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative is that you can hear the traffic late at night.

Clean and friendly staff.
This hotel was very clean and nice. Staff was very nice as well. My family sorted thur the filters to make sure we had a hotel with A/C however they control whether or not we can turn on the unit. I dont appreciate that at all. If we are paying for a room we should have the option of turning it on if we need it regardless of the weather outside. Thats my only beef with my stay.
