The only things I didn’t like were that the safe wasn’t usable because it was locked and the bottle opener was useless.

I had an inside, tiny room. Did I choose this, maybe. Or was this a “cheaper” room listed on Expedia? While tiny with no view, it was clean, well appointed & quiet. Ok for 1 person. The bath was especially nice & updated. The staff were excellent. Very close to the Palace, Cathedral, Opera House, & Grand Via the main shopping street. Not too far by foot to Plaza Mayor & Mercado San Miguel for food stalls. Dinner at the attached cafe was good. Breakfast was so-so, but then I’m picky about buffet food. The staff booked me a taxi for my departure to airport & it was the same fixed rate €33 as my outbound on arrival. My sister stayed at a different nearby hotel & her departure taxi was €50. So Preciados staff did a good job.

Staff at the front desk were top of the line Very sharp people that suggested different dinning options and help us a lot Thank you We will be back

Hotel Precadios is the place to stay in Madrid!

The room is exquisite. I love the terrace. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.

We have stayed here in many occasions & find it to be convenient & pleasant. It’s a shame they no longer offer treats such as shower caps, slippers & robes like they have in the past. Price wise… they are not cheap!

The stay overall was very good. Only few comments: the room had a very small window with very little light from outside and high in the wall without any way to look outside. The bathroom room mirror was heated making the room feel very warm and even hot.

Excellent location, staff is very friendly. However, breakfast at €22 per person is very high.

Staff was extremely helpful setting up tours and taxi back to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was fantastic, unfortunately one of the staff was rude since our breakfast bill was confused in during our stay and not clear explanation.

Clean and Comfortable

The hotel was very pleasant, the rooms and beds comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were varied and good quality and the restaurant was excellent.

Great hotel in a great location! The staff are awesome. In particular, Sean and Bon Villanueva went out of their way to help me find restaurants and a place to get a haircut! You walk out the door of the hotel and you are right in the heart of the action. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The only negative was the room faced the street and was over the restaurant at times very noisy.

This hotel is beautiful and right in the middle of a square. Very easy walk to many attractions. There is a restaurant right in the hotel and serves very good breakfast which was included for us. There are lots of restaurants all around the hotel. The room was very clean and nice King sized bed. We had a Junior suite triple and there was a sofa bed in the other room. Excellent shower and bathroom amenities. We didn’t have a car but parking will probably be difficult.

Location

The location is fantastic since it is close to everything. the hotel was quiet and clean too. the only thing i did not like is there was one receptionist named manuel who was very dismissive when asked a question and was the entire time rude. everyone else was kind. Manuel was very rude and did not like to help. alvaro was nice and so was everyone else. their breakfast was okay but needed more selections.

Great hotel. Nice room with balcony windows. Get the ‘plus’ room. Easy walking to area landmarks, restaurants.

Quaint hotel in the heart of Madrid. Terrific location to shops dining and Madrids must see places. Breakfast buffet was an added bonus. Highly recommend!!

Great location, beautiful hotel rooms.

The staff at the hotel was the best you could find anywhere. The cafe Varela served the best food both for breakfast and the evening meal. You were central to so many historic sites and shopping. We could not be more happier at this fabulous hotel. Plaza Mayor was a 10 minute from the hotel, where there are hundreds of shops and restaurants.

This was an excellent hotel for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was convenient to all center city activities. Bar and restaurant on site. Very clean in all areas. Exceeded my expectations!

Great location to walk to lovely areas like Puerta de Sol. However, for one day they did not have running water and did not compensate us in any way for such an experience.

Although my room was in a weird location on the floor, literally hidden behind what seemed to be an emergency door (a door behind a door), the room was impeccable, spacious, and very comfortable. From the bedding to the service, everything in the hotel was top notch. The location was fantastic, it was centric and in the middle of it all; with that said, the interior of the hotel was very quiet.

I would highly recommend this property

It is a very beautiful hotel in a city centre. Clean, very tasty breakfast, stuff is nice and helpful. I found the area a bit overcrowded and noisy for my liking, but it’s more of a location problem, not a property. Overall We really enjoyed our stay.

HORRIBLE STAFF! I would not recommend this hotel. My trip was ruined by the way we were treated by the hotel staff, including in the buffet area. Staff has no client service manners. They treat you as if you weren’t paying for your stay. I would look elsewhere.

Cute boutique hotel, amazing location, next to Gran Via, you can walk most of Downtown Madrid in one night from this hotel, complementary minibar and they even offered valet parking service for us.

Location was great, sites, parks, shopping close by. Great staff and facilities!! My new choice for staying in Madrid.

Loved the property!

The hotel is fantastic, staff are so kind! Thank you to Carmen for helping accommodate a severely jet lagged passenger who arrived an hour early before check in time. Thank you to Sean for taking care of the Flamenco show and Segovia tour bookings! The hotel is very centrally located and everything is walkable!

Nice hotel near all major attractions in Madrid.

The location of this hotel is excellent, close to all the main attraction and in the middle of lots of stores and restaurants. Hotel is nice and clean. A little pricey, but if you factor in the savings in ubers or taxis, it is worth it. The minibar is inclided, which is nice. It includes only drinks though, no snakcs. Only couple of issues were the wifi, which was almost nonworking, but i think it was only our room, since it was decent in the common areas. Also, personnel is very efficient, but a little cold, at least with us. Lastly, there is an electric kettle in the room, with instant coffee and tea A keurig, nesspresso, or just a coffee machine with ground coffee would be much better. Anyway, I would certainly stay in this hotel again. Thank you.

This hotel was a great location and very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

Our room faced a very noisy street that did not quiet down until well after midnight. After the restaurants closed, all the tables and chairs were noisily stacked up. Early in the morning all the trucks started unloading food for the restaurants in the area so sleeping was difficult.

The place was clean and very comfortable, within walking distance of most things I wanted, and the Metro was close by too.

An historic Hotel in the center of Madrid with everything around!

One of the reviews we read said that you had to go through a restaurant to get into the hotel. ... well kind of, minimally. There are sidewalk cafes set up outside. There is an wide separation between tables at the end. You walk through this wide walk area and enter the hotel. It is very normal in Europe. I would never have noticed it if someone had not complained about it. The room was lovely. The location is within walking distance from most must see areas of the city.

Staff very helpful. Street in front of hotel transforms into a beautiful cafe lined pedestrian area. Room on 4th floor was a little noisy due to street partying, but not enough to really be bothersome.

Location is great . Staff is helpful. Only thing happened was that room was not ready by the time I reached. It was manual error that was corrected instantly by the reception staff.

Hotel Preciados is always excellent and never dissappoints. This was our second time staying and we will continue to stay here every time we come back to Madrid.

Absolutely Great hotel!! the room was renew very comfortable clean and well equipped, it looked like they thought of everything you might need. Best location!! Two minutes from the centre of Gran Via street and walking distance to everything. Nice fine restaurant at the hotel and many more in the same street. Please note that the bathroom door and wall are transparent.. highly recommended for couples.

The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the size of the room. It was so narrow the bed barely fit with room to walk round

Really enjoyed the terrace area we had in our room. Room was clean and the bathroom shower was spacious and the water was always hot!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Perfectly situated on a pedestrian street with many dining options. Central location close to the two major city squares, historical sites, shopping. Staff were excellent and very quick to offer assistance. Room was beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean. Cafe Verala offered an excellent breakfast buffet and, in the afternoon & evening the perfect spot to enjoy a Cava and/or a meal while people watching. We will definitely be back!
