Very nice hotel. The staff are kind and courteous. Each night we got a special different treat delivered to our room, Porto custard tarts, pastries, liqueur and a turndown service with chocolate. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Hotel was convenient to Christmas markets. It sits atop an underground stop which we only learned after a couple nights. Breakfast was very nice. The delivery of port and chocolate to our room was very special. Neighborhood is kind of sketchy! Abandoned building right across the street. Shopping 3-4 blocks away.

Stayed one night here while in Lisbon. The room was pretty, clean, and within walkable distance of lots of shopping and dining options. We loved the complimentary desserts and ginja in our room when we arrived back after a night out! Only issue was that the shower water leaked out of the shower and all over the bathroom floor. Parking is available at the hotel next door (for an additional price).

Hotel absolutely brilliant, could not fault the staff or facilities, very Christmassy around hotel and surrounding area, only down side the hotel is situated in a dubious area, but will definitely recommend.

A gem in the center

Right in the center of Lisbon, boutique hotel with extra spacious rooms and the friendliest staff you can imagine. Very good breakfast included in room rate and as Lisbon is such a walkable city, the location couldn't be better. Would recommend you take their car service to the airport, less expensive than a taxi and amazing service.

This hotel has an excellent location, with easy access to walkable attractions. The front desk gave us excellent advice, they accommodated our bags for early arrival, and the doorman made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable. We loved the Juliet balcony for views of the city, and the welcome treats were a nice surprise. We stayed for 2 nights. Would have given perfect score for comfort, but for the street noise (since I am a light sleeper). However the second night I slept more soundly. The breakfast was ample, and back patio welcome for an evening with wine.

It is one of our best hotel experiences ever. The front desk stuff Mariana was extremely experienced and patient, her advices make our activities in Lisbon fun and fulfilling! Other front desk staffs are doing wonderful job as well. The restaurant manager who seated us was not only cordial also did an excellent job managing that operations. The hotel is conveniently located to starting points of excursions. The property is in great condition, although a building across the street is waiting for better days. The staff is extremely helpful, professional and kind. We were showered with extras for our anniversary. The breakfast was great and cappuccino delightful.

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations from check-in to check-out. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and provided with detailed information on local attractions and dining options. We were then personally escorted to our room, where a delightful gift of Ginja Portugal liqueur awaited us, making us feel incredibly special. The room itself was stunning and looked exactly like the pictures on the website—elegant and comfortable. After returning from an excursion the next day, we received another thoughtful surprise as one of the staff knocked on our door with a small additional gift, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. The location is perfect—close to everything in the city, with easy access to walk or use transit. A note for light sleepers: there is a train line running beneath the hotel, so some noise can be heard, even on the third floor. However, this didn’t bother us much and didn’t detract from our experience. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. The thoughtful service, beautiful accommodations, and convenient location make it a standout choice. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!

Everything was absolutely fabulous!

The hotel was amazing and the staff wonderful. Leo checked us in and was friendly, quick and very helpful. Beware the metro runs next to the hotel and we were in a lower level room in the end the first night where we got no sleep. Leo moved us to 407 and although we could still feel it it was not so bad that we were kept awake. We had breakfast as well each morning and it was delicious. I would absolutely stay here again.

I loved this hotel. Our room was bigger than it looked on the website. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a tub and separate large shower. We had a nice view with a balcony and our room had all the amenities you would need. The employee at the front desk gave us a lot of good recommendations. I most definitely would stay here again and recommend.

I would highly recommend this property, it’s walking distance to mayor Lisboa attractions, clean, beautiful, with very nice and welcoming stuff answering any questions you might have about sightseeing, the best restaurants, train tickets , safety of the areas .

No Wi-Fi connection working !! I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi. I requested to the front desk but they told me it happens to some customers. It's a nice hotel but no Wi-Fi is extremely inconvenient.

This hotel is underrated! It well deserves 5 stars for absolutely everything! The front desk stuff is very polite! They helped us with early check-in and any help we needed. The room was spotless with robs, slippers, water, bar, liquor, chocolate etc The room was very tastefully decorated and was functional. The location was perfect for uber and lots of tours meeting spots which were within 5-15 min walking distance. For very early tours, we're first in the breakfast area sharp at 7am when they open and the stuff was READY with hot breakfast, hot coffee,2 types of eggs, cooked veggies, bacon for those who eat it, always freshly cut different fruit, desserts, juices etc One morning we had a delicious hot Portuguese nata dessert ;) The only thing is the bathtub is a bit higher than usual, but I'm sure the stuff can accommodate guests with this issue, just let them know ahead to book the right room for you. For us it was totally fine and we're not athletes :)) I highly recommend this hotel! I like to try new places, but will definitely book this hotel next time in Lisbon without hesitation!!!

My niece and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and very kind. We enjoyed every minute of this hotel and the fantastic location to everything.

We were in Europe for 20 days visiting 11 cities and this was by far the overall BEST hotel we stayed in. The rooms were so clean and spacious. The employees took the time to ensure you felt welcome and familiarize you with the area. The hotel is in a good location as well.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location. Can easily walk to all the sights of Lisbon or Rossi station and the metro. Staff are very friendly, helpful and informative on things to see and do. Breakfast is good as is the rooftop bar at their sister hotel next door. Roofs are a good size and well appointed. Nice extra touches such as a complimentary bottle of Ginja (local liqueur) to distinguish it from the usual chain hotels. Highly recommended.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Your site needs to inform people that the subway/ train is directly below the hotel and you will hear it and feel it all day and night. Homeless are feed outside the hotel, and spend their days hanging around in front. In order to get to parking garage you have to go into another hotel, very inconvenient that there is no direct access to garage.

The staff and accommodations were excellent. The upgrade was a special treat.

Great busy location which is close to shopping and lots of options for food. Public transportation is very close by with decent options to get to taxis. Not that the hotel is above the subway and you can sort of feel it. It didn't bother me though even though we was on the 1st floor. What can I say about the staff? Super friendly, go out of their way to assist, top notch #1 in my book. Will definitely stay again next time we are back in Lisbon.

Highly recommend Portugal Boutique Hotel

I stayed at the Portugal Boutique Hotel for 4 nights as a solo traveller and had the most wonderful experience! The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean, in the BEST location of Lisbon; central/walkable to everything, main attractions steps away, great bars and restaurants nearby, and the famous Tram 28 is basically at your doorstep (as are all other modes of transportation). I can't say "thank you" enough to the fabulous front desk staff, who all went above and beyond. I am already planning to return and highly recommend the Portugal Boutique Hotel! Obrigado!

Smaller hotel, excellent staff, excellent breakfast and location

For the cost this hotel is fine and the staff did everything to make my stay comfortable. But I think it wise for others looking at Expedia to select a hotel that they know this. The hotel is located over a subway and the first room they gave me was literally over the subway which not only was loud but shook the water glasses in my room. They told me the subway ran only from 6am to 1am...leaving me 5 hrs to sleep? They said they would move me the next day to a quieter room which they did and it was much quieter.

What can I say except fully satisfied with my choice of staying here. What you get for the price is more than fair. Great location, good breakfast and good water pressure. The beds are comfortable. You can hear the rumbling of the Metro Subway but I didn't find it to be a nuisance. The rooms a very clean.

I liked everything about the place and all the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

The hotel itself was lovely and staff were very friendly. The room was clean and had good amenities. Good choice of breakfast and great location. Very easy to get to/from the airport using the Metro. You could hear/feel the metro go past which was quite loud.

A perfect stay in Lisbon

Wonderful hotel in an ideal location! Walking distance to restaurants and transportation. Hop on/off bus just a 2 minute walk. Staff were welcoming and friendly. It was raining when we were there and hotel supplied us with umbrellas. They went above and beyond answering questions and making our stay perfect. Breakfast was excellent and unexpected. There is subway noise but it didn’t really bother us at all. If I could give this hotel and eleven, I would. I hope I will be back to Lisbon and will stay here again!

Quality of service great, comfortable seating throughout, great breakfast, security day and night. Improvements can include towel hooks, accessible plugs and steady shower water temperature.

Everything about the hotel is superb. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; rooms superb and well-equipped; breakfast terrific; overall feel of the hotel is welcoming and well-maintained and facilities the best. Only downside is that the hotel is on a side street that is not very attractive and the building opposite is dirty and run-down. Hotel is, of course, in a great location as far as getting to things in the city by foot or public transportation.
