The building and rooms smelled like sewage and the rooms were very noisy.

Good location

I was very disappointed. The property was a block away from the actual reception area and they require the key be brought back anytime you leave. The towels were old and stained, the pillows were old and stained, the property was in less than acceptable condition.

Good value

Nice staff, centrally located, cleen and fair price. Walking distance to just about everything and a lot of restaurants around.

BEWARE!! Before you book a reservation at this location, it is not a hotel. This consists of 2 apartment buildings that are labeled as “hotels”. My family and I arrived and were required to pay on site. Upon paying, we were told that parking was an extra 25 euros per day and they might not able to accommodate my vehicle for two days. They stated their garage was full despite offering parking on their booking. We were then taken to a building about 2 blocks away which we were told is where our “room” was. Outside of said building, there were individuals smoking marijuana and there are a series of restaurants and bars near the entrance. The entrance to the building was not secure. Upon entering the building to go to our room, we had to walk up 10 flights of stairs as there was no elevator. We entered the room which had an odd smell. The beds and pillows were not sterilized. One of the pillows had sweat stains and the bed appeared appeared as if someone had slept in it. In the bathroom, there weren’t many towels nor soaps aside from hand soap. This was an apartment that was being advertised as a hotel. There was no safety deposit box, coffee nor refreshments in the refrigerator. Upon returning from dinner, the restaurant next door had placed all their tables and chairs inside of the apartment lobby. We decided to leave and the owner refused to give us a refund, ignored all calls/emails from expedia and is falsely advertising this as a hotel. Do not stay here and get scammed.

It was just right!

Loved everything about this hotel.

It's a nice place to stay. I though that 2 Euros charges are included in the booking, but I realized its apart.

Apartment hotel well serviced-but the doors and the beds are of poor quality - the noisy corridor can wake you up and the spring bed not very confortable- the kitchen is almost useless without full proper équipement . No lift!

Brilliant for a budget hotel

Great location within easy walk of most things. My room would have been better with curtains to cut out the light from the hotelk next door. The rooms were okay for a budget hotel as clean and suited though not very large. The staff were really friendly.

Good value but you must be easy going

We were in the serviced apartment annex, it was a good value and the location to the center of the city was great. Just some concerns: we were there for New Years Eve and there was a disco next door so the noise level was very annoying for most of the night. The next night the disco was closed so we slept a whole lot better. The kitchenette was not fully equipped. The balcony of our second floor room opened to the dining area of the restaurant next door.

Excellent location

Excellent location and the staff was very helpful especially our cleaning lady. A little bid noise during the the weekend because the disco next door. but other than that it was perfect apartment around the corner from the hotel

room or apartment

Booked a room but was given an apartment around the corner which was next to a late music bar and very very noisy. Music vibrated the room. Good for club goers ! Maybe this only happens on weekends. Only stayed one night. Got what we paid for. Breakfast for €5 was reasonable. Location is excellent. I would give the hotel a chance again provided I didn't get an apartment.

Good location with air conditioning

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to all major attractions. Great little restaurants around. Good room with air conditioning and clean. Value for money. Wifi connection inconsistent.

surprisingly large room

When we checked in, the clerk walked us out the hotel, down the street, into a building next to some busy restaurants. Inside this building were several newly renovated suites, with not only the usual fridge/stove, but also washer and dishwasher. Very convenient location. Hotel owner (?) was very helpful.

Great location and noisy

The location and this hotel is great and the room was clean however there are many things to don't come back again. Even we stayed and the top floor, the noise at night was very high by drunk people. We stayed for two night and it happened each night. The room is very small and the bed is also short.

Clean hotel with good location

The location of this hotel is very good lying on alley parallel to the Alliados Avenue. There is a very important fact for the futures guess travelling to Porto (or Portugal). Rooms are divided into two types usually. One is guess house and another is hotel. Hotel is much better with private bathroom while the guess house relatively locates in the place hard to find. This one is hotel, much better than the guess house experience we have in Lisbon and their price are almost the same.

Excelente

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le personnel. Nous avons été emmené à 100 mètres de l’hôtel, dans un petit studio propre et tout équipé. Un emplacement idéal, en plein centre ville et proche des commodités. Le seul point noir a été le bruit la nuit… mais avec une bonne paire de boules quies ça a été parfait ! A la fin de notre séjour nous avons pu laisser nos bagages à l’hôtel toute la journée et ainsi évite de payer une consigne à bagage ! Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits à l’hôtel et ça a été un excellent séjour pour nous. Nous reviendrons et recommandons cet hôtel.

Alojamento fraquinho, staff simpático e esforçado.

Imagem do site não correspondem ao real alojamento. Pelo site alugamos um quarto no edifício do hotel, na realidade fomos encaminhados para um apartamento a 100 m do local numa zona de alto ruído noturno.

Séjour à Porto

Très bpn séjour à Porto. Hôtel Porto Rico très correct, personnel très aimable.

Reservas un hotel y te meten en un apartamento en otra calle, sin ascensor y sin servicios de hotel, ni limpieza ni cambio de toallas en toda la estancia. El personal amable y correcto. La limpieza cuando llegamos estaba bien. La cama doble es pequeña e incómoda, las almohadas horribles. Se salva que parece reformado recientemente y el personal. Lo demás malo.

Non siamo state accolte molto bene, ci hanno dato una camera in una struttura esterna a quella dell’indirizzo, 3* piano senza ascensore, dalla porta finestra entrava un forte odore di cibo del ristorante sotto, il piano doccia era mezzo intasato, non scendeva l’acqua. La cosa migliore di questo albergo è la posizione.

Point positif. L'emplacement. Point négatif- au-dessus d'un restaurant ainsi tres bruyant. Extracteur de fumée du restaurant pres des fenêtres dont les odeurs envahissaient la chambre. Insupportable. A éviter.

Hotel porto Rico

O quarto no geral é bom mas o chao estava um bocado sujo, foi encontrado sangue nas toalhas e lençois, a cama nao é para pessoas altas, o AC so funcionava em frio e o isolamento tambem nao é o melhor. No geral é um sitio barato e bem localizado mas com muitos aspetos a melhorar.

Muito bom somente que ficamos no 4o.andar sem elevador..o loft é ótimo e o café da manhã tbem..mas.pago separadamente.

Fomos instaladas no anexo sem informação prévia. O anexo fica distante do hotel e tem que subir um lance de escada. Era necessário ir ao hotel para deixar a chave para a limpeza e para tomar café da manhã. Essas informações não foram fornecidas quando reservamos o hotel.

À notre arrivée pas de chambre à l’hotel..! Il a fallu redescendre les valises, marcher 50m plus loin et monter au quatrième étage, sans ascenseur, d’un petit immeuble, afin d’être logés dans un studio...!!!!!! Extrêmement, bruyant le seul point positif est que c’était très propre.

Un piso 4 ° sin ascensor y no lo advierten en las caracteristicas. Amueblado defectuoso, puertas rotas. Desayuno muy basico. Lo mejor la ubicación.

HAY QUE SUBIR LAS MALETAS POR ESCALERAS NO TIENE ASCENSOR

まず、当初予定していたホテルの部屋ではなく、ホテルから1分程度歩いたアパートメントの部屋だった（予約時はそう書かれていなかった）。またホテル費用を現地払いにしていたが、クレジットカードが使えず、現金のみということで、現地通貨をわずかしか持っていなかったため（プリペイドカードの残金もわずかだった）、非常にあせった。 これらは事前にきちんと記しておいてほしい（Expediaサイドの問題だと思うが） アパートメントの部屋は清潔で、立地も良かった。ただ、1階がレストランだったため、0時過ぎまで騒がしく寝られなかった。 でもそれも含めて、スタッフの対応がよく、とても便利な場所にあり、近くにおいしいレストランも多く、全体としては満足度が高かった。

Hôtel très bien situé mais les informations données au prealable sont fausses. J'ai choisi cet hotel patce qu'il y avait un ascenseur en raison de pb de santé. Au final je me suis retrouvée dans un appartement en dehors de l'hôtel au 3e etage sans ascenseur ! Petit déjeuner nul! Pas de nettoyage de la chambre pendant les 5 jours où nous y etions. Accueil très froid.

Mucho ruido nocturno

La habitación y el servicio muy buenos, pero el ruido nocturno es infernal, hay pubs cerca y entre la música y los gritos de los borrachos, no pegamos ojo en toda la noche, y eso que era un lunes...

Buon albergo vicinissimo al centro

Buon hotel,dotato di proprio garage, pulito, forse bisognoso di una più precisa accuratezza, è vicinissimo al centro di Porto ( piazza del municipio) , un poco rumoroso data la propria vicinanza al centro,.

Centrale, adatto a chi non dorme nel week end

La camera che ci hanno dato non era all indirizzo specificato, ma poco distante. Per correttezza avrebbero dovuto scriverlo. La stanza era abbastanza ampia, con il cucinino, frigo e piccola lavastoviglie. Stoviglie e pentole erano abbastanza indecenti (ma noi abbiamo sempre mangiato fuori). I problemi ci sono stati venerdì notte: essendo in centro c'era molto rumore dovuto alla movidai (ovviamente nessun tipo di insonorizzazione), all 1 è iniziata la musica che è andata avanti fino alle 4.30. Il giorno dopo ci siamo fatti spostare di camera (nella sede dell hotel), ma anche li c'era il caos della movida. Nel complesso l hotel è in una posizione strategica per visitare la città ma non consente di rilassarsi dopo una giornata passata a camminare.
