Small cute hotel in the center of Rome. All sightseeing are in a walk distance. Nice breakfasts.
This hotel was fantastic. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Loved the area. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
The hotel is very convenient, and the staff was very courteous. Rooms were well appointed and very comfortable.
The hotel is 8.8. It’s a good hotel, but they need better mattresses for the bed. Overall is a good stay.
Amazing will return! Loved the hotel, location the bed was comfortable - and only need is new shower fix to prevent leaking on floor. Thank you!!!
Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.
Fabulous courtyard and roof top terrace. Very close to some great restaurants in Trastevere. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Would return.
Great location. Very nice rooms. Lovely common areas and nice outdoor space. Excellent breakfast buffet.
Had a lovely stay location is amazing. Only negatives are front desk personnel uniformly unhelpful and mostly unpleasant and TV smaller than most computer monitors lol.
Hotel was located in a perfect location for travelers who know rome and want to experience local roman experience. Hitel has all amenities great staff great breakfast ac needs to be colder but american like cold ac bathroom spacious but shower flat floor so water runs out overall great four star hotel not to pricey nice rooftop bar.
This hotel is all about the location. The location is great. Everything else is okay but the check in staff were quite rude. The bell hops were really nice though. But I’d stay here again just for the location.
Staff was so friendly and helpful
Our stay was great! They were very accommodating!
Great location. Outdoor terrace is a nice addition.
Staff was so accommodating and friendly! The bell hop even walked all the way to the car garage with me when I told him I couldn’t find it! They were fantastic!
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Only drawback was our room faced the street and loud noise from local young people persisted until early morning hours. I’d be pleased to return on the condition our room is not on the street side.
Fantastic location! Great options for shopping, walking to restaurants, nightlife, attractions. Highly recommend.
It was great, nice and quiet and perfect location to Campo Fiori and Trestavere. Outdoor courtyard for breakfast was lovely.
Hotel was absolutely gorgeous
Great property- very clean and good breakfast
The location and areas nearby are excellent! Everything we wanted to visit was close. Javier, one of the breakfast waiters gives the extra mile, is attentive, customer service oriented and always happy to assist. The staff at the front desk should receive customer service training. One of them was rude and impatient with us. The buffet breakfast was superb and their courtyard is beautiful. We would stay there again.
Great rooftop bar with amazing views of Roma and a lavish breakfast spread in the morning!
Excellent experience. Loved the location. All their staff were wonderful and very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth it.
An amazing location and walkable to many sites. I really enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts in the courtyard and drinks on the roof top bar. A fantastic hotel and I really enjoyed my stay.
Enjoyed everything would recommend hotel
Very friendly and great roof terrace. Good breakfast and convenient hours. Would stay here again. Very clean, centrally located, and comfortable.
The location is great. They have a terrific breakfast buffet in the courtyard and a nice rooftop terrace and bar.
Ideal location and great hotel!!!
Excellent hotel. Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Would stay again and again!!!!
Excellent hotel in a central location.
Felt very comfortable & safe in the lovely accommodations. My room was prepared & maintained well, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the roof for drinks was inviting & restful. All in all, the hotel & staff were fabulous!
Excellent place to stay, central location and walkable to pretty much all tourist locations in Rome. Nice central courtyard for breakfast, and a nice rooftop terrace to enjoy a sunset.
Close to alot of walkable places
Excellent hôtel and location , second time staying and very impressed
the breakfast buffet is really delicious
The property itself is quite nice inside but the area appeard very dirty with limited dining nearby. The rooms were nice and clean. Carpets seemed quite old. Onsite restaurant and bar were not very good for dinner. Breakfast was excellent.
Great Location
This hotel is in a great location just across the bridge from Trestevere. The A/C was great. And when I arrived after a long travel day they were very fast and accommodating to get me to my room quickly. I Would definitely recommend.
Very close to so many things, whether sites to see or dining options. Also close to many key bus lines for sightseeing.
I loved the location of this hotel. After we arrived I was so pleased with how clean with whatever we needed. and beautiful the hotel was! Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was always helpful . I'm looking forward to staying there again next year!
The staff was awesome! The air conditioning was superb! The breakfast was excellent and the rooftop bar took our breath away!
Would stay here again
Overall a great hotel choice. The location is convenient, right over a short bridge to Trastevere and walkable to all the major sites or a short taxi. The courtyard for breakfast and rooftop patio for drinks is so lovely. The service was great. My room was a single, so a bit tight but ok for one person. As some have noted, the hotel is perhaps dated but I thought it was quaint. Everything was clean and tidy. Would stay here again.
location easy to get around lots of food options easy to walk to shopping
The staff who checked me in was rude, they didn’t go over anything. They were treating guests worse than a 2 star hotels or inn. And they charged extra for my kid . When I booked just number of adults was available and I was ok with my kid in the same room . But they charged about $40 extra.
Ask for Suite 401 - A dream come true!
Amazing Hotel! Our balcony was really huge with lovely furnishings and beautiful views. This hotel is a dream!
Nice staff and clean room. I was glad room was not as tiny as other reviewers suggested. Room is in a condition far better than the 4-star hotels we stayed in back home in USA. Staff was very friendly and nice.
Great location.
The hotel is in a very good location. the staff are very attentive and helpful. Rooms are clean and bed comfortable. I would have liked a kettle or coffee machine in my room. Roof terrace is wonderful and bar staff very friendly and helpful.
The dining areas were beautiful, but the room itself left a lot to be desired- felt very worn and not maintained to the standard of the rest of the property. It was also very loud in the evening when we were trying to sleep.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Close to a large number of bars and restaurants with a short walk to all attractions of Rome
The hotel is located at a very convenient location with a minimart nearby. The courtyard was very pretty and we enjoyed a takeaway meal there. The staff were also very friendly and polite. The only negative thing is that the shower head in the room is fixed and cannot be adjusted or moved round much. Bed was very comfortable but the noise from the Ponte Sisto bridge might be loud for some. There is also a lift in the hotel which is definitely a plus. The breakfast spread was also decent with a variety of breads. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it!
Cute hotel, Great location
Cute hotel in a great location. Has what you need. Walkable to lots of things.
Old style Rome
Choose this hotel for its location. Great for visiting Rome attractions. Hotel itself is 4 star and I’m not sure it meets what are generally 4 star credentials. Rooms are small and a little cramped with furniture. Amenities are basic. One good point is the breakfast- excellent. Couple of other things to be aware of - this hotel caters for a lot of groups / parties don’t gets extremely busy sometimes also it’s not the quietest area so if you like a good sleep beware. Air conditioning- ?
I booked this trip for my honeymoon. We were expecting a luxurious hotel and room because of the ratings on Expedia but we were caught by surprise when we checked in. We booked the most expensive room they have (Luxury Suite). First, there is no air conditioning in the hotel. When I asked about AC, they said “well, you can open a window.” Then our room had no view. It was on the first floor and it was surrounded by other walls when you look outside - but when you see what they advertise as a luxury suite on Expedia, it’s very different. Our shower did not have a curtain or a hose. It was just a jacuzzi tub with no hose or curtain so taking a normal shower was extremely difficult. I expressed my concerns with the front desk and they were EXTREMELY rude. The lady told me, “well you booked through Expedia so this is what you’re getting.” I paid for the most expensive option they had and they gave me a terrible room because it was not booked through their hotel website. She told me, “if you book through our hotel website, you can get these options for the luxury suite but since you booked through Expedia, this is all you’re getting.” I was not happy at all. After trying back and forth for a better room, she ended up telling me “this is not America, sir.” And that was that. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. It’s very outdated, the elevator is very small and terrifying. It sounds like it’s breaking down whenever you use it. The area is not the greatest. By far, 0 stars.
Visiting Rome again
Service at front desk was very good with good recommendations for local attractions. Room was not always maintained well while clean we never had any coffee for the morning nor were there any glasses for water or in bathroom, a little inconvenient. The location of hotel is great and everything you need to see and do is very close.
Yes
Perfect location in Rome
The hotel is in the perfect location for siteseeing in Rome! It has a lovely courtyard for enjoying coffee or cocktails and the breakfast is fabulous! We stayed there with our disabled daughter who uses a wheelchair full time and they were very accommodating for us. Highly recommend this hotel!
The staff were always so helpful, professional, and kind!!
Nice
I came solo. I stayed on tue 5th floor in the middle of February. Perhaps, no one hardly gets the 5th floor so it stays clean most times. I cant tell you what it will be like in the middle of summer. However, in my exsperiencr, it was clean. Dinner stops being served at 11PM. So if in case you get hungry and dont feel like going anywhere, you csn at least have something at your stay with Hotel Ponte sisto
Great location, walk to good restaurants, comfortable walk to all Rome attractions. Hotel staff very accommodating to move us to a quieter room when the first room we were assigned was behind their noisy elevator. Hotel has a wonderful breakfast.
Perfecto!
Great service. Great position for everything. Very professional. Definitely would stay again
The staff was very accommodating! Quick to message back. Went here for my honeymoon and they facilitated champagne in the room and rose petals upon arrival. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
Great location!! Close to everything!
Excellent service and the perfect location. Central and easy to walk to many sites and neighborhoods. Nice breakfast.
Hotel Ponte Sisto's location is perfect. Just across the bridge from Trastevere, and close to Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore, and pretty much all of Rome's historical sites. The rooms are well-appointed, and very clean. The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and efficient. The breakfast buffet is very good. This is my go-to hotel when I go to Rome.
As someone who has lived in Rome, this is one of my favorite hotels to stay in for cost/value. Rooms are clean, amenities are basic. Really provides all that you need. I have a real issue with cleanliness, so I standby it being clean. The overall interior design is “older”, but suits the hotel. Hotel bar/food. Courtyard and rooftop deck. These are very nice to have, and I used both, but nothing fancy. Again, clean and a nice perk. The real reason I love it is its location. Right across from Trastevere, and if you choose to walk up the river, you hit Vatican City. If you go the other way out the hotel, you will find yourself in Campo di Fiori in a matter of moments. A few more minutes and Piazza Navona. Everything is very walkable. Additionally, I was leaving Xmas morning and was concerned about having transportation to the airport. The hotel took care of it and the cost was the same as a taxi that you would find on your own. It’s a perfect little secret gem for cost/value.
Great breakfast great location
The property is far from the center. The bed was not good (hard). The room is very small for 2 people. Would not choose the hotel again.
Convenient and quiet
An upgrade upon check in. Which was unexpected! Wonderful staff! Breakfast as very good!
Hotel is nice enough but very expensive for what you get. I had a tiny single room in October I thought the price was excessive for what it was
The hotel is in a wonderful location:walking distance to historical sites and shopping and restaurants.. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms are clean. This is my fourth stay here and have been very happy with each of my stays.
Great chouce
Great spot. Lots of local restaurants. Within walking distance of all the major sites. Only complaint is parking. Their listing says parking available but they only have three spots for the entire hotel. Absolutely the best breakfast on the entire trip.
Our stay was very nice. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff were always available. The location was amazing - right across the bridge from Trastevere which is loaded with awesome food and drinking establishments!
The room was very nice and clean but had no view. But that is probably normal for downtown Rome. The location is good. The breakfast was very good. The beds were far too firm in our opinion but that seems to be a European thing.
Staff are very helpful and friendly. Restaurant with patio seating so welcoming
Breakfast in the garden of eden
It was our 6th stay at the Ponte Sisto. Nothing beats the perfect location and the wonderful building.
This was the third time we have stayed at the Ponte Sisto and we were not disappointed to have chosen this hotel again. All the staff were excellent, dealing with reception, arranging taxis, solving problems not of their making. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff worked tirelessly to keep it so. Breakfasts were delicious, with many choices to suit all tastes. Late evening coffee and digestifs on the roof terrace overlooking the city were delightful. Many thanks to you all. They have our grateful thanks for making our stay such n enjoyable one
No complaints . Breakfast and room were very nice
Great hotel steps from the Ponte Sisto bridge to Trastevere.
This is my forth stay at the Ponte Sisto and it’s a wonderful hotel the staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful, the location is excellent, within walking distance of major sites live the Trevi Fountain and the hip Trastevere district, very easy to get to the Vatican…I love the Hotel Ponte Sisto…..we had the excellent breakfast included, and that’s a big plus!
The staff is great and it’s in a really pretty location! The market nearby is amazing.
Nice neighborhood and safe
Great hotel
Exceptionally clean and comfortable hotel. Large rooms and great breakfast
Nice staff, fabulous breakfast, beautiful hotel & rooftop.
Lovely historic hotel in a great neighborhood
This is a lovely historic hotel in a great neighborhood! We had a room with a private patio. The breakfast buffet is delicious and it is served on a lovely outdoor patio. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!
Hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast each morning in the courtyard was a treat. Located near many attractions and excellent food!
Luxurious comfort in outstanding location!
Best location for couples
Beautiful breakfast plaza area, clean room. Location is perfectly between Trastevere night life, riverwalk bars/restaurants, and walkable to all major tourist attractions.
Great location
Great location… clean and tidy
We stayed in two hotels in Rome and this one was definitely central to all attractions and hot spots. Clean and tidy, with helpful staff. Would come back here again.
Worth the stay
The breakfast was lovely. The rooftop bar was also nice. My room had a balcony which was also nice to have. Very clean room. Nice helpful staff.
Great location and facilities good breakfast and friendly team well done all
The hotel staff was very responsive prior to our arrival. The hotel was located in an amazing area with a lot to do. They had a wonderful terrace that was open in the evening and had a bar. The buffet breakfast was very good. The rooms were large. We would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel In convenient location
Very nice hotel in a convenient location. The courtyard breakfast area was lovely. Only negative was that the front desk staff seemed very frazzled at times, which meant standing there and waiting for someone to help you. Rooftop bar had excellent views.
Great location. Didn’t like that you can’t control your AC from room and have to call front desk. Also we had very poor WiFi connection in our room. Everything else was excellent
Loved the Hotel Ponte Sisto
We loved this beautiful hotel in a fabulous location at the base of the Ponte Sisto Bridge. An easy stroll to all of the great restaurants in Trastevere. Breakfast on the terrace was a delightful start to every day in Rome!
Heart of Rome
Great location for seeing Campo Di Fiori and Trastevere. Great breakfast and public areas.
Very helpful staff. Very convenient location.
Convenient location, walked everywhere from our hotel. Rooftop bar had amazing views & relaxed there nightly. Rooms were small and needing updating but only slept there so was fine. Outside breakfast had a nice vibe.
