Was ok for what its worth. Not much facilities available restaurant was closed no bar area or lobby. Its an ok budget hotel. It was clean which i am really fussy about. The duvet could be better

Landed late and arrived at the hotel around 1am. We were welcomed by a night receptionist called Nick. We were really tired so Nick managed to check us in no time and while doing it he explained about all hotel facilities, the things to do in the area in detail, literally everything that we wanted to know. Once checked in, without even asking he helped us with the luggage and came with us all the way to the room to make sure everything was ok. Hats off to Nick for the great welcoming and all the help from him! 5 star service! Our stay at the hotel was great! Nice and quiet place, really clean and organised. Housekeeping lady Elena was also looking after the guests really well ensuring everything was spotless clean. I was surprised when I went to our room after breakfast and found all my t-shirts that were all over the room neatly folded neatly. 5 star service in a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was as you would expect for a 3/4 star hotel, variety of food and desserts. Couldn't complaint at all. Swimming pool was really clean and looked after. During the day there is a bar so food and drinks were not missed. Location is great, 3-4 min walk and you are the beach which is surrounded by shops and restaurants. Front office staff during the day was polite, but they didn't speak much English which wasn't great as it was a bit difficult to communicate. I would highly recommend this hotel and the area in general!

Ok is all I can say.. room ok although no kettle and no fridge .. staff were ok and breakfast was ok

Hotel was very nice and clean and staffs were very friendly. The only thing that really bothered and let us down was the WiFi at the hotel. So many cut offs. I was in the middle of something and it just stopped. The WiFi is weak. That really let me down.

Clean and tidy

Stayed here as most hotels closed for the season. Room was clean, aircon/heating unit a bit noisy. Bathroom clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast served across the street was fair. Everything you would expect from a 3 star out of season.

Cheap and cheerful

Cute balconies overlooking the sea. 24 hour check in. Breakfast was free! Temperature in the room was quite cold especially since it was a January visit but there was 2 extra blankets in the room to help.

Nothing unique about this property as we stayed out of season but was clean and staff polite. Very quiet area. We had our breakfast in the restaurant across the street. Wi-fi internet very very slow so useless.

Fabulous Hotel

Absolutely Fabulous hotel. Lovely and clean. All staff were amazing. Breakfast was superb enough choice for everyone's dietary needs. We will definitley be back next year

The shower should come with a warning it only runs red hot no matter which way you turn it, couldn’t even stand under it, very dangerous be careful if you have young kids

This hotel is very dated and needs upgrading. Very noisy in rooms. Small pool and limited outdoor seating

First stay but won't be the last

This was our 4th visit to Santa Ponsa and this was the best accommodation we'd stayed in. Great location for the places we wanted. Quiet hotel on the quieter side of Santa Ponsa. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I requested a sea view room as it was a birthday break and we were allocated room 512 on the top floor with a huge sun terrace. On the actual birthday we received a bottle of bubbly which was a nice touch. Lovely breakfast each day. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

This was an OK hotel but honestly, everything was very small. The room itself was small, the pool and the area around it was very small. The bathroom was also small. There was no fridge in the room by default which is silly because it's 30 outside and you want to keep drinks. The fridge was admittedly available to rent, but this is a silly situation to be in. The number of power outlets in the room was exactly TWO and they were positioned very uncomfortably — one was high up at the TV level, the other was right at the back of the bed (who came up with that design?).

Excellent Hotel - Great Location

We met at this hotel in 1987 and always said that we would return one day. We emigrated to Australia in 2010 and thought we would never return, but a trip back to the UK to visit family we booked a 5 day break here. It has been kept immaculate and it brought back many fond memories. The staff were very friendly, the hotel and room very clean and the breakfast was fresh and a lot of variety provided. It is very close to the beach and everything is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to couples, not much for younger children.

Great hotel!

Just returned from a 10 night stay at the Playas Del Rey. For the price we paid to stay at the hotel, I can’t really complain about anything. The rooms were basic but clean and tidy, bed was really comfortable. The hotel basis is bed and breakfast, which is sufficient enough with plenty of options to choose from. The pool area was the highlight of the hotel for me. Really good sized pool and plenty of beds surrounding but you needed to be up pretty early to get a good spot around the pool. The pool was in the sun most of the day, however there was a period of about an hour each afternoon where the sun was blocked and the pool was in the shade. We didn’t find this to be an issue though, it was actually really nice to get a break from the sun! Overall, the staff were great and couldn’t be more helpful. If we were to go back to Santa Ponsa, I wouldn’t hesitate to re-book at this hotel 😁

Nice hotel located centrally located - but...

Staff fantastic. Hotel well situated for ‘the strip’. Parking available (at a cost). Pool a little on small side and doesn’t really get the sun; but the beach is across the road and there is “The Watering Hole” a bar/restaurant with pool available locally. Only downside was we booked a family room - this was advertised as a double room with double sofa bed. What we got was a standard room with another bed squeezed in. As my wife was travelling with a broken leg this was especially awkward

Lovely hotel, close to beach.

Great hotel, beach just across from the hotel. Plenty bars and restaurants beside hotel. Main hub a 8/10 min walk away. Would certainly stay again as hotel is in a quiet area. Clean/ comfortable hotel and lovely friendly staff. A+++++++••

Fantastic staff very clean hotel

Excellent room service clean towels and room cleaned every day. Got a wake up call on last day. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Everyone so friendly.

3 star hotel, close to everything

Nice hotel in great location for santa ponsa. Good pool, beach nearby(4.5 euro per day sunbed hire). Buses nearby. Host of bars and restaurants on same road as hotel. A very pleasant stay.

Great hotel close to the beach

It was very nice, breakfast was edible and filling however they don't have many vegetarian or vegan options. We did start to get ants wondering around in or bathroom and wardrobe however apart front that the hotel was immaculate. Had a mini fridge, comfy double bed, decent sized bathroom, nice balcony view and the maids come and fix your room for you. I'd highly suggest this hotel to anyone to be honest. Great experience

Very basic

Very basic, the room is a concrete box with poor quality windows. The business model is based on offering cheap rooms to people who later on wished they spent more money on hotel when it’s too late

Bra hotell med tanke på priset. Vi hade dock 2 nätter otur med grannarna som hördes genom de tunna väggarna. Bra enkel engelsk frukost i restaurangen mitt över gatan. Fin utsikt från balkongen.

Staff was very friendly, found our room very small and the way in and out of the hotel for people with disability not great. Also the view mentioned online was only available from level 4 and up

Good view

Nice view from the 5th floor sea view rooms with a useful balcony. The hotel is a bit old and the comfort is not very high. We were satisfied but will probably find another place if we return again.

Im großen Ganzen, ein sehr schönes Hotel. Das Frühstück fanden wir auch klasse. Nur schallisoliert sind die Zimmer nicht.

Kleines Zimmer, dunkel und alte Möbel. Sieht auf den Bildern viel besser aus als es ist.

Apartamento de playa algo viejo pero muy bien, la verdad. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Con todos los servicios que buscábamos: primer línea de playa, bares, supermercados y restaurantes alrededor, habitación amplia, limpia y cómoda, servicio de recepción y de limpieza… el desayuno muy bueno. El personal, genial.

Una experiencia buena. Personal agradable. El desayuno fue al otro lado de la calle, un local con unas bonitas vistas. Una habitación sencilla, limpia y con una cama cómoda. El aire acondicionado tarda un pelin en enfriar pero un dato sin gran importancia. Recomiendo este hotel

Die Lage ist gut. Bucht & Geschäfte sind schnell erreichbar. Frühstück frisch und ausreichend, allerdings täglich gleich. Einrichtung alt, TV ist schlecht. Dafür war es recht sauber, Personal freundlich. Mir persönlich zu einfach & spartanisch.
