included breakfast was fantastic . excellent cappuccino
The hotel was great and staff very accommodating.
Really great place to stay in Milan centrally located friendly staff nice food nice bar and restaurant definitely recommend
This five-star hotel does not have a restaurant. However, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff was great. The area where the hotel is located has road construction. Parking is expensive because the hotel is very close to the old town. The staff was friendly and competent.
Enjoyed our stay. Friendly service and great breakfast!
Not perfect
Reconstruction in front of the hotel We need garbage bin in room they said only in bathroom We need tissues they said only in bathroom and it’s very small and thin Breakfast not perfect I will not recommend this hotel Nothing around it interesting
This is a nice hotel, and great value for the money
Lovely location Beautiful interiors.
The street is under construction and makes access almost imposible Hotel looks ugly and old from outside I think they should advice customers of inconvenience ahead of time and not lied with not real pictures on web I didn’t wanted to stay there and they won’t give me any kind of refund, very disappointed
The Hotel is very good, clean, nice staff and very helpful.
that was very good
The Hotel is nice but at this moment the area is under construction.
We liked our room and the location is great, quiet area but walkable to major sights!
Convenient
Mediocre at best
The hotel staff are very good, friendly and try to help. The problem was in my room the noise from the room next-door was terrible. this wasn't because the room next-door was particularly loud it's just the walls are extremely thin. I could hear every word and felt as if I was in the same room. The food is mediocre at best and the TV was so dirty i didn't even want to touch it.
Me and my husband stay for 1 week. we love it. it is very clean, the place is quiet and the staff are very nice. walkable for all the tourist spots
The hotel had a unique and boutique feel.
Great Location
We have stayed here a few times and cannot fault the hotel. Very convenient location and the staff are always extremely helpful. One of our "go to" hotels in Milan.
Excellent stay
It is a great 👍 hotel, elegant, very clean, superb service, kind and thoughtful staff. I would love to call this small and lovely hotel: old beauty. Every morning breakfast was super delicious. I would love to stay in this hotel again. I highly recommend this beautiful small treasure located not far away from the heart of Milano, but some distance away to enjoy different part of this great city, Milano. Thank you to all from this hotel for making my stay in Milano a special one. All the best from a grateful customer. See you soon😊
Great staff - property clean but older and construction must be ongoing for years - little impact other than surrounding road but fine stay.
Hotel is clean with nice rooms the only down side is the construction at the door
Hotel Pierre Milano is an oasis of comfort in a street surrounded by construction. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had, and the room was delightful. It is close to a metro station and lots of dining options and shops, and also close to major attractions. Thoroughly recommended.
Hotel is pretty good but expensive for what it is. Room was pretty small - thought it would be bigger
Milan
The hotel is comfortable and within 15 min walk to the main tourist sites, there are plenty restaurants near by.
i ask for a exit after one night stay but refused refund the hotel is rated as five star however this is not five star facility
I would recommend and return
Totalmente decepcionante. No es un hotel 5 estrellas. Lo único bueno fue el desayuno pero sin variedad. Lo mismo x 5 días La habitación Ejecutiva muy estrecha.
Very comfortable, relaxing hotel
Good location and very nice staffs
The property is very clean and charming The staff super nice and helpful I definitely will come back there
Nice, clean, convenient Hotel
The hotel is conveniently located. It's within walking/bus distance of pretty much everything. The room was clean and ready when we arrived. The beds were comfortable. The furniture was a little dated, but charming. The staff were so polite and nice. The breakfast was first rate (huge selection and lots of it). The only downside is the refurbishing of neighboring buildings was a bit noisy, but they stopped at night. We could hear people in other hotel rooms a bit, but it wasn't bad. We would definitely book Hotel Pierre again.
This hotel was quite a disappointment. I stayed in the "Executive Double Room" -- only one power outlet in the entire room, the heat wouldn't turn off, less than half of the TV channels were available, the bathroom light flickered, the tub stopper didn't work and drained VERY slowly, the elevators smelled horrible, and the front desk people barely spoke English. This is NOT a 5-star hotel!
Attentive and friendly staff
Staff were amazing. Room was spacious but only had one plug socket available which fit our adapter which was strange as we have travelled within Italy with these adapters before and they were fine. Breakfast was not great but you could get it delivered to the room for €6 which is very convenient.
Great location and great room!
We stayed in a business room, which was really nice. Really comfortable bed, clean big room and nice bathroom. Had read a lot of bad reviews, so expectations were low, but the location was superb and the room was great, service also fine. Would book again for these reasons. However on the low point, the breakfast was terrible. It was a really big buffet with a lot of stuff, but it simply looked very low quality. Especially when the hotel is a 5 star hotel, you would think it would have higher standards. Skip the breakfast and find a nice little place in the city instead.
Not a 5 stars
Small but elegant rooms. Heavy construction around the building. Not a 5 stars really.
Lot of items are old, not working and outside from our room view very bad.
Nice hotel - disappointing room
The location of the hotel was great - very central. The team was also very nice, trying to make our stay as good as possible. But the hotel itself was disappointing: the room was very weird, small and with stairs to go to the bed part (so kind of mezzanine but not in a cool way). It was very dark, not enough lights and among the ones available, a few didn't function. The bathroom was not completely clean. The bed wasn't super comfortable. And the overall feeling of the room was that it is an old, tired room. We expected more from a 5 stars hotel...
Great location, 15 minute walk to Duomo. Very reasonable room rates. Good size rooms. Boutique style is great. Staff is not very helpful (nobody offered to carry bags). There is a lot of construction going on in the area surrounding the property (noisy). Amenities and services are limited (no coffee/tea making facilities), not a real five stars hotel.
Breakfast was good, room was clean, hot water good. Electrical system in room was superior. Lobby and common areas had a musty smell which thankfully did not impact the room. Clock on TV was wrong, which caused a momentary panic. Overall, would not stay here again, but there are worse hotels.
Overall the hotel was lovely. The place was beautiful, the location was great and the food was really tasty. The only issue that I had was when we arrived we were placed in a room that smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke. The hotel staff happily agreed for us to move rooms but ended up moving all of our items during the day without us being there and left our personal items in the safe while another group checked into the room! Could have been thought out a little bit beforehand but after that there were no issues.
Their pictures were misleading they gave us a room and an attic as a suite. All the doorknobs were rusted. Even though we complained and wanted to talk to manager , nobody got back to us or trying to make us feel better
This is not anyone's fault at the hotel but they are in the center of city construction which made it difficult to walk and navigate. The hotel itself was amazing and close to city center. the front desk, for the most part spoke English.
We had a spacious room with a king bed and good bathroom and the breakfast buffet was excellent. But overall the hotel is not 5 star, possibly 4
Boutique hotel
Love the location. Great service!
This hotel is very well located for a 15 minute stroll to the Duomo and all the Canal side restaurants and nightlife. The internal aesthetics of the building are beautiful, BUT check before you travel as there is extensive building work at the front and back of the building which doesn’t appear to be close to completion any time soon, a lot of the rooms overlook this. . The noise of workmen and rubble being sent down long chutes to skips is horrendous even with the windows closed. We recorded it and contacted Expedia Whose professionalism and temerity assisted in getting us moved to a much quieter room, which the hotel reception/Manager claimed not to have. When we asked reception why it’s not mentioned on their website - he said how could I do that! The breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of food and the staff were very friendly. Also after departing in the taxi, we realised that having handed over EUR 50 to pay for the EUR 30 city tax, we weren’t handed the EUR 20 change.
Check In and Out was ultra easy, personnel trying to help every step of the way. Great advise about what to do in Milan!
We stayed in the junior suite where we could accommodate an extra bed for my teenager. Quite convenient with only 10 minutes taxi ride at night from Milano Centrale. Very good convenience store near by. Not much view from our room though.
Well Expedia rate this as a 5* hotel, it’s no where near a 5*. In fact probably 3*. No ironing facilities within the room or tea/coffee facilities, even travel lodge and premier inn have these facilities. Bar never open. Breakfast ok. Staff can be very ignorant and rude.
High CP hotel 👍
Very friendly and helpful staff was providing good service. The room was clean and it’s location was closed to city center.
Siamo stati benissimo ,il personale e molto amabile , molto professionale . La pulizia perfetta e la colazione super . Ritorniamo sicuramente
Everything that I expected from a hotel was great . Specially great location 👍
Excellent property and service was great. Will define recommend to All My friend
Good service, clean room, good breakfast. Hotel room rather small and not really equipped for working/laptop use
Great area and having valet was a major bonus.
Room we booked was described as having a washer/dryer which was non-existent. Hotel purports to have a bar/restaurant which seemed to be open just once during our almost two week stay. Hotel staged a very loud function one night that made it impossible to sleep. We were moved to another room which was just as bad. The standard response from hotel management to any concern was 'it is Christmas you have to expect loud functions and restaurant closures'. Might have been nice to include their attitude in the listing for the property.
Nice hotel very close to the city centre once you get your bearings! A lot of construction work going on in Milan at the moment, so our stay was a disruptive with all the works going on.
Location was fantastic. The hotel is quaint and comfortable.
Fantastic hotel
It was beautiful and want to go back with family when not on business.
It was a nice hotel. The hotel was great to walk right into the center. Right now, road works outside and up the road in both directions. Rooms very nice, clean and presentable. Breakfast very good.
Great location to any part of the city, there is still construction outside but only a minor inconvenience. Very happy with my stay there.
Was great. Very clean and great decor. The parking was limited.
Good choice for area!
Very good experience! Review of Hotel Pierre Milano Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile Great location although there is a lot of construction going on - looks like its pretty much never ending. Very nice room, well-supplied bathroom, very comfortable beds. We asked for additional pillows and blankets and they were quickly delivered. The breakfast included meat and cheeses - done very nice, staff very friendly too! Would clearly recommend!
No way a 5 star.
No way a 5 star. Hotel was a 3.5* at best. No water in the room without using the mini bar, the breakfast was super basic, the rooms were really tired (although comfortable and clean) the lobby smelled of body odour, the waiter couldn’t make a cafe latte, the front desk didn’t ask how my stay was and wasn’t interested in my feedback (“its the owner’s choice”) etc etc. Wouldn’t stay here again. There is now way this is a 5* and it shouldn’t be allowed to call itself as such.
nice hotel in the centre of milan
Very nice hotel centrally situated so easy to get from one place to another, staff very helpful, breakfast was an added bonus with quite a lot of choice. I would happily stay there again.
Excellent choice
Beautiful hotel in Milan. Very good location. The breakfast had many choices and was served in style. Would recommend the hotel.
Tasteful, luxury value.
Lovely décor and ambience, very well furnished with impressive artwork everywhere. Possibly the best hotel bedroom my wife and I have ever stayed in, and very good value. Breakfast offerings were excellent too. Easy access to the main sights in city centre and some really good restaurants nearby, such as the Vento di Sardegna (superb!).
Slim Pickings
It was during fashion week so I understand that the prices were marked up but this hotel is more like an American 2 star so it was significantly overpriced.
You have the feeling you are home...
Place, location, staff, food, everything was excellent, you feel you are home because the building is an old renovated wonderful big house in the centre of Milano and the staff is very professional and friendly.
Elegant place, friendly folks.
Clean, understated hotel. We only stayed one night as we were in transit, but I would stay again when in Milan. The only drawback is that there's a great amount of street construction going on, but this should be cleared up in a few years. The construction wasn't noisy at all, just made it a bit unsightly and difficult to walk around.
Everything was good
Well placed hotel in Milano, we could let out car infront and for a night all was good
Nice hotel in a great location
Funky vintage style hotel. Very nice and clean. The only drawback is the 2 story room I got. I don't mind going up the stairs but if you need to use the bathroom at night it might be a problem for some.
Nice hotel in a good location.
The hotel was nice and the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast which was included was great! The area where the hotel is located is close to all of the major attractions and subway! The only real downside which isn't there fault, currently there is a lot of construction in the area.
Good location near Duomo, canal museums
The hotel location was centrally located making numerous attractions within walking distance.
mid town which was good
hallway smelled like cigarette smoke, room was comfortable although somewhat small
Not even close to 5 star hotel
You would expect that the staff at five star hotel would go out of their way to understand and accommodate their patrons. This is definitely not a case at this hotel. The manager only said he is 'sorry for us' instead of trying to understand and help us when we had an issue with pre-paid breakfast. Bottom line we paid twice. Would never stay there again or recommend this hotel.
The hotel says is 5 star bat is not even close to 3 star hotel
Great hotel. Staff were very nice. Breakfast serve was adequate, delicious, and lots of choices. Centrally located so shopping, restaurants, museums, public transportation are all within walking distance.
The personnel was extremely helpful, well-trained and kind. At all times, they went the extra mile to help. Thank you very much.
The room was a good size with comfortable beds. The room had remote control lighting and window shades. The entire room and bathroom were up date.
The hotel is nice and well kept with great breakfast. Difficult access with car due to street construction.
3 stars hotel with good service.
The hotel is not bad, the service is good but it is a Three stars but for sure it is not a five stars hotel. The breakfast is good but in the underground with nothing to see but walls.
Five Star Hotel!
Five Star Hotel!Complete luxury! Great Staff - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, too. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Great location but a three star experience
Can't fault the location or the service st the front desk which was fantastic but I am baffled how this hotel has 5 stars. Breakfast was standard, the restaurant was completely univiting, the bar non existent and just a few random tables and the bar service completely lacking- although probably driven by the total lack of customers! Self fulfilling cycle. The room was fine if a little small but there was zero wifi in the room and no Ethernet that i could see. The desk was completely unsuitable to work from.
Don't expect a lot
It's all about setting expectations. Don't expect a 5-star hotel. Good points: service was friendly, room was clean, location is good and I booked in advance so I got a decent rate (but it's not cheap). Bad points: except for the fruit salad, the breakfast was disappointing, room rate too high for the room size and quality (tiny space, no desk to work.
the hotel room was very comfortable, though the bathroom should have been designed without the bidette so to have made room for a bigger shower cubicle
'Mystery Hotel' allocation. Not 5 star.
Selected 'Mystery Hotel' 5 star for Milan. First and last time I will try this. Hotel Pierre in many countries would only be 4 star (at best). 3 in group checking in had ski bags - no one came to help. Hotel look deserted. Foyer bar was never open for our entire stay. No atmosphere. No bell boys / concierge? The older staff member who was on when we checked out was very short and unfriendly. Bathroom had missing tiles in both rooms that we had booked. Moved out after 2 days and went to Chateau Montford - 100% improvement. Hotel would be better rated at 3.5 - 4 star.
Great hotel, great location
I stayed overnight and would definitely stay here again. Hotel was fabulous, with an old world elegance. My room was everything I needed and the bathroom in particular was very well looked after. Breakfast was good quality and much better than expected. Short walk into the Duomo square and easily reached by Metro from Milano Centrale train station.
The Worst experience, Not a 5 Start Hotel, B aware
Hotel has lack of staff and existing staff is rude and not respectful. From the beginning we were not greeted in a positive way. Wireless wifi doesn't work. Room service on Friday night did not have more than half of the menu, room service personal said they have a management issues at the hotel and they told us its better if we eat outside (seriously). Upon arrival we gave the bell bot the keys to the car. He said he will park the car in a garage for us and will bring bags to the room. The following day we found the car parked in front of the hotel. Can had glove compartment open with all the items outside the compartment and a total mess inside the car. We went to the reception to make a complaint, called the police to file a complaint. Items were missing inside the car (stolen). Hotel refused to take responsibility. Until this very moment we got no refund, no compensation and were told by staff, and I quote: "We know its not a 5 star hotel, but we must tell customers it is".
Nice hotel close to Castello
Highly recommend for real investigating Milan: very close to downtown but located in area where common people leave. Very friendly staff
$550 per night for a closet
Room sizes are minuscule. I do not exaggerate if I say 30 square meters or 80 square foot Breakfast buffet meager. Items were not replenished. Bright external lights, chintz and wannabe glitz make this hotel tolerable.
NO.
Do not pay in advance unless you've been there before and you're OK with it. It's rated 5 stars, but I don't know why! While the concierge Giorgio was very helpful on the phone assisting with arranging cars, etc before we arrived, the hotel itself was ragged and run down and SMELLED BAD. We couldn't stay. We sacrificed the rate (paid in advance) and went to another hotel when we arrived at 9:30pm. It was that bad.
Good location, tiny room, incredibly rude staff
This is my 4th stay in milan and I would never stay at this hotel again. The staff were incredibly rude. No greeting, any assistance, information. There was a refurbishment of the room next to mine and they didn't care when I complained that drilling started at 7:30am. They didn't move my room apologise, nothing. Even speaking italian which I do made no difference. The room itself was tiny. When you sit on the toilet your knees touch the shower door. The only redeeming feature of this property is it's location. An easy walk to the Duomo.
Far from a 5 star hotel. This should be a 3.5 *
Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is excellent - a short walk to the cathedra and other churches. I had a special rate that included a hot breakfast, which made the hotel very good value. Staff were helpful in regard to arranging transport to airport. Room was clean and regularly serviced. Bathroom is a little cramped.
Elegance and Comfort
I was so pleasantly surprised with the Hotel Pierre Milan. I had booked it because of the location and the price was reasonable. When I got there I checked my receipts again to make sure I wasn't paying double what I had thought it was. This was a beautiful place. It's so elegant. The room was also beautiful with the most comfortable bed I've had in a hotel in Europe. The breakfast here was outstanding. There was so much more than just croissants and bread. They had eggs and sausage, and so many other choices. The location is great. It's just a 10 minute walk to the Duomo down Via Torino which has many nice stores. It's close to a metro station in a very nice neighborhood.
Great hotel close to the centre
Hotel stay was pleasant and staff were helpful. Good range of breakfast items. Great location for seeing all that we wanted to see.
Really nice hotel in a great part of Milan
This hotel is a real find. The location is excellent, the building and rooms are very nice, and the front-desk staff were friendly. We had a little trouble with the air conditioning in our room which couldn't keep up with the heat wave in Milan that week, and the staff at breakfast were not as friendly as the front desk staff, but these were relatively small drawbacks to an overall great stay.
Best location if you like to explore Milan.
Although apprehensive once we had seen the reviews and ratings on this 5 star hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff and superb location. It surpassed our expectations. And once you start appreciate what it takes to get around Milan it is a a great plus. Wifi was spotty, but then again, that is par for most hotels these days. In the lobby the wifi worked great.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff awesome- Maximilian’s, and both Lorenzos. Well located. Enjoyed the ambiance and breakfast. Minor downside- the room felt a little tight. As I said, minor issue. Would stay there again.
