The room was spacious and clean, the staff very kind and helpful. they storaged our suitcases in the morning when we arrived and next day after returning the key, we went to the Vatican and left our suitcases until it was time to live the city.
Grazie - ottimo servizio
The staff of this establishment are great and very knowledgeable and helpful
The staff here is excellent, but the food really ends there. The walls are paper thin and I could hear every guest on the floor, including someone snoring in the room just next to me. The amenities were average for a budget minded hotel, but it’s really the other guests that made this a bad experience
Staff at Hotel Piemonte are all terrific. Well located to the train station.
Great staff and great breakfast!
The entire family was bitten by BEDBUGS everywhere on the bodies. BEDBUGS issue is an ongoing problem at this hotel as described before by other unsuspecting guests. Also the hotel is really not a hotel. They rented a non hotel building half of a block away on the fourth floor with scary old musty entrance. This establishment should not be in business due to extreme health issues it negligently causes. A true nightmare.
Location is good
It was a very noisy hotel with coming and going all night.
Excellent
The property is a bit dated. Bathroom is quite small, shower in particular. Bedding could use an upgrade. The staff is quite efficient and helpful.
That it was close to the main train station and easy to walk to even with luggage in hand. The staff was very friendly and a nice selection of food at breakfast. Overall, this is a great place to stay when touring around Rome it is easy because it is so near the main train station that takes you every place.
Check in was easy. Reception staff were efficient & friendly. Walking distance frome Roma Termini. Lots of dining options.
It was close to the hop on hop off bus route
Walking distance to train
Post cruise Roman stay
Stayed here for two nights after a cruise Pluses: Great location near the train station, easy walk to hop on hop off, decent restaurants(actually fantastic by American standards within a few blocks, easy checkin and out, breakfast was good, decent sized room for 4 people Minuses: thin walls, you can hear everything in the hall and surrounding rooms, shower was tiny with no pressure, linens and towels weren’t great Overall it was a good hotel. Met our needs for being in central Rome and had a decent price. I’d stay here again
The breakfast is the best! Have stayed here several times and will return for it’s convenience to termini.
Close to the Metro. Friendly staff and helpful Room was small and very dated. Shower is small
Good customer service.. Very small shower. No fruit with the breakfast..
The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of Roma Termini. We checked in after midnight and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was in a different building but it was just across the street. Breakfast had an additional cost but it was worth it. It was varied and had great coffee, juice, bread, pastries, etc. It is an excellent place to spend the night but it may also be good for spending a few days sightseeing in the area.
We were given a room in the Attic, a separate building so had to walk around to get there. The room looked very warn out and not that clean. The bedding looked quite poor. Only after we checked in, we realized that many reviews were mentioning bedbugs - we looked at the beds and while we didn't find any clear signs of their presence, one mattress cover had some dirty stains of unclear origin. After all of that, we realized that our peace of mind is worth more than the cost of stay so we found another place close by and moved there. It was our mistake not to do enough due diligence upfront so be aware and make an informed choice.
Do not stay here. It is like a hostel because you check in and then go around the corner to an old building where the hotel rents a floor. It felt very unsafe inside, the elevator was tiny and barely worked so we took our luggage up 3 flights. There are multiple doors To finally get to a room that was for a “family” that had 4 single fold away beds. It felt unclean and smelled of cigarette smoke despite getting a non smoker room. There was no tv remote and old socks that someone forgot in the closet. We stayed overnight before a cruise so we just slept and left but if I were staying for more than that I would have been even more disappointed.
Room was small, but the location was convenient to Central Station and many dining options. There was easy access to the metro and many attractions were at walking distance. Breakfast was a plus.
Buyer beware!
The hotel description did and does NOT AT ALL match the condition of the property!
We traveled by train to Rome the prior day for our departure. This hotel is just a short walk from the Termini station. It's a no frills hotel for a great price. Exactly what we needed
Convenient
The staff was generous with their help and knowledge of the Rome area. All members of the staff were kind and gracious.
Place was good staff was great specially Vinceneo friendly and informative great place!
The property was clean and the staff was helpful. It is older and good use some updating.
Hotel Piemonte was perfectly located for my first stay in Rome. There are lots of restaurant options down the street, and I was able to rent a bicycle at the end of the block to do a self guided tour down the Via Appia.
The location is good as it's close to the train station but it is a couple streets away so you do have to keep your wits about you. Area surrounding the train station is pretty dank but it is convenient. The hotel for the most part is decent enough. I wouldn't say it's a romantic hotel or good for business travel, but it's satisfactory if you just want to visit Rome. There is air conditioning and an elevator. I didn't both with the breakfast. I stayed in a single room. It felt like a college dorm, but it was fine even though the room was small.
I did like that the front desk staff prepared a “take away” breakfast since we had to check out an hour prior to breakfast service. I did not like the small, cramped, room, outdated, furnishings, small, cramped, shower, and the mattress that was hard as a rock.
Walkabe location from Termini Station. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good
Location, cleanliness, good service.
Needs a little Reno and the safe did not work. Staff was great
We had a good stay. Wasn’t top tier but it got the job done and was safe. The bathroom was very nice but the bed was very uncomfortable. The AC worked very good though
The property was very convenient to our travel. Did not know that our room was in a building down the street from the hotel in a separate building and a 3rd floor walk up
You truly can hear every other guest flush their toilets as you laying in your bed trying to sleep.
No bar/lounge and Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, no A/C either. Everything everything else was fine.
Our room was infested by ants. The walls were very dirty. There was a ton of noise from the hallways and also outside. It was so hot and they told us the AC didn’t work.
Yeah all in all pretty good. Very spacious and comfy room and good location
no air contioneer
Hotel is clean and reasonable for its cost. Our room is comfortably appropriate for us(2people). Happy costumer!
Lovely Staff Breakfast could include Fruit!
The hotel location is fabulous, staff is nice, the only thing is hotel is a bit old need upgrade.
It was like 5 min from Termini station so it is the perfect for taking the train or metro quickly. Clean and convenient Bed was on the hard side and walls are very thin so you can hear noises from other rooms. But overall, very pleased with my stay They even let us check in earlier than usual
Very good clean hotel nr Termini. Great for family
Lovely friendly hotel in middle of Rome near Termini, great location. Good size rooms for city centre and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. I would also recommend families look at the Annex rooms as lot of space for 4 people (2 adults & 2 single beds for kids).
Great locatiom from roma termini. Bad bed and damaged refrigerator inside room
Awesome place
Our state was highly excellent we will recommend to family members and friends everyone was very friendly accommodated us very well have no complaints of nobody
Upon our arrival to the hotel, the clerk was on the phone with what was obvisouly a personal phonecall. We stayed waiting in front of the desk for a good 15 minutes while he was laughing and gossip and looking at us. At some point, he finally asked us what we wanted very rudely and when we mentionned it was for check in, he hung up the phone. Very rude encounter. We finally got our room which was not in the hotel but in another building where we had to walk to. Very old building. The old elevator was out of service and the hotel had rooms on the third floor of that building. We had to carry our bag 3 floors up. Finally the room was very disappointing. With marking on the wall. There is no AC simply a vent with some cold air sometimes. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. This was clearly not a 3star hotel.
The property provides everything you need being close to the train station.
Stayed for 5 nights in July, the air con was a big plus! Location is perfect, ideal base to explore Rome and close to the train station which was good for links to both of Romes airports. Breakfast is basic but fine to start the day, the room is basic too but was comfortable. Local restaurants are all really good, Bramble which is 100 metres from the hotel was excellent. Overall a great stay for me and my family (2 kids)
Clean and great location.
Very convenient location :close to train, restaurants and attractions, however , room was outdated , no rack for suitcase but and old dirty chair. Since no Air condition, having the window open was very noisy, hotel is located in a heavy foot traffic area, loud people talking and laughing could be heard till late at night. On the other hand, breakfast was good and convenient.
Excellent property, staff was very friendly and inviting. Location was perfect within 5 minute walk to train and metro stations. Very close to local grocery store and restaurants.
Very small rooms in poor shape. The air conditioning didn't work, the television wasn't connected, and once we connected it only got 3 functional channels, had to charge my devices using the outlet in the bathroom as the one in the room was damaged and not functioning probably. The shower was miniscule, like never have I ever seen such a small shower, you drop something and you're getting out to pick it up. Then finally the walls are so paper thin you can hear every conversation and extracurricular activities going on in neighboring rooms. Rather disappointing to say the least.
This was a very poor choice for me.
I have been a member of Hotels.com since its conception. I am a Gold Member. In some regards, my stay here was a nightmare. This is an older but very well maintained hotel. The neighborhood, near the train station, of course is very rough. On the short walk to the station, one has to dodge and weave through a bit of criminal, street activity. There is a section that is littered with garbage and broken glass. But, during daylight hours there is no issues, and you just walk real quickly at night. My room was smaller than those I have had in monastery/convent bookings. But that is fine, I'm not there in the room much. The maintenance staff is wonderful and friendly and accommodating. However, the major complaint is the sound proofing of the room. I was there for two weeks and most of the time very loud folks were next door. I actually pounded on the wall once and the person went down to the front desk and complained I was pounding the wall! That particular desk manager called and was extremely rude to me. I asked him why he thought one might pound on the wall and explained how the lady was constantly screaming at her child or someone on the phone about some issue or another, etc. All to no avail. To illustrate how bad it was, I actually could here my next door neighbor snoring loudly all night long. It was like he was in the bed next to me! I might add that I am 72 years old and hard of hearing! Breakfast is extremely boring and bland. But, I'm not picky.
Well situated and friendly staff.
Expedia (who has given me the impression that the company has turned into clever cheating and stealing) fleshed me, a 73 year old customer, out of a lot of money due to me by refund. Read details below: Dear Expedia, my name is Albert Claud Parker. This matter concerns my planned June 13, 2021 trip to Rome, Italy and reservation (#5355418 for stay at the Hotel Piemonte) was a no go, all because I couldn't board the American Airlines flight from Orlando, FL to Dallas Ft. Worth, TX (to board my connecting Iberia Airlines flight to Rome, Italy) because Italy would have sent me back to USA due to my COVID-19 test being older than 73 hours. I took a fresh Covid-19 test at Orlando airport which cost me $175. The waiting line was so long that my scheduled flight departed before the COVID-19 test and results were completed. So I never went to Rome. I emailed Hotel Piemonte in Rome and received a reply back indicating that only Expedia could cancel my hotel reservations and process my $579.66 refund. Expedia has opted to go silent and non-responsive to my pleas for the refund of $579.66 owed to me.
Excellent value for money. Very close to station. Clean, warm comfortable room. Very happy with our room.
Very pleasant stay n very convenient to central train station 7 min walk. Quite safe area. Would stay again Many thanx.
front desk staff was very helpful. bathroom too small.
Good value hotel in an excellent location near the Terminal main Train, metro & bus hub. Decent sized room, comfortable with good shower. All a bit tired/dated but clean. Breakfast was basic but very tasty. Room cleaned well every day. Fridge in room a bonus. Would use again if on a budget. Grocery, takeaway & restaurants all near by.
Very close to Roma Termini Liked the breakfast and they held my bag in storage when i arrived early and also held last after checkout Would definitely go back again when in town
Nice hotel well located. It is at walking distance from the train station which is convenient. The bed was ok but stiff. It was clean.
It’s a great location if you need to get on the train.
Close to train station, very helpful, good breakfast, recommend a good local restaurant
Conveniently located close to Termini Station, Hotel Piemonte provides all the essential services.
We are glad of our stay.Clean, good breakfast, every day clean towels....and very near to Termini. I suggest it!
being in the annex, with dodgy people hanging around the doorway
It is close to the train station, metro and grocery. Free breakfast was included. It was clean, safe and convenient. It just looks like it has been beaten up from years of use. Could use some paint and freshening up but was very serviceable and convenient and clean.
DISAPPOINTED
When we arrived, we were told that we were not in the actual hotel, but in the "annex". For the price, it wasn't a bad room, EXCEPT that the air conditioner didn't work and it was mid 90s F. Management got on it right away and got it working for about 2 hours-out of 3 nights.
Great Foundation for excellent holiday.
Really our stay was very good, the location is excellent, short walking distance for seniors. Staff help us quickly with all challenges. The young gentlemen at reception were really great. We're from South Africa and the language barrier was not a problem. Breakfast was sufficient, room clean our privacy was always respect. For my sixtieth birthday it really a good foundation to make my voyage to the Coloseo and Vatican a great experience. Thanks Hotel Piemonte.
Location,Friendly Staff
We have stayed here 3 times. The staff is professional and friendly. It is so near the train station, which makes it SO convenient to hop on the Leonardo Express at any time! We w
All towels were changed daily without us requesting it. Breakfast was adequate though limited. Coffee was good. Very friendly and helpful front desk gentlemen- 2 of them on different days. Excellent location just 5 minutes walk from Termini train station.
Good hotel to stay the night. Close to the Rome train Station
Hotel is clean and nice except rude staff in breakfast.
the room was ok but the bathroom was in bad shape. shower did not work. our room was on 3rd floor in annexe building the lift was not working. minibar had 2 cokes and bottle of water only. really dissapointing.
Nice place for a short-term stay. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Handy hotel
The area isn't the most glamourous area in Rome but in terms of offering a great base at a great cost this hotel would be hard to beat. The hotel team were friendly and the hotel was clean. It was a good spot for a group to come and watch the rugby from. Taxis here are €48 on a fixed price from the airport and took about 35 minutes
Location and friendly staff. My room was super cold and the AC was not working properly.
Close to transport, restaurants. Easy walk to some attractions.
Hotel's location is very good (near Rome Termini)... Nevertheless, my experience was overshadowed by a RUDE breakfast server lady (there won't be a confusion on who she is, as there is only one serving person in the breakfast area, and that lady is really rude to all customers)! Avoid hotel!
The room and bathroom size was a bit smaller
Friendly Staff and Convenient Location
The hotel is close to the Termini, the main central hub for transport around Rome. The room was small but well cleaned and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The best thing about the hotel though is its staff. Every member of staff I had contact with was professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and cheerful. It is because of the staff that I plan to stay there again when visiting Rome.
Near Train station There was a stain on the sheets.
Felt a bit nervous during the day when we arrived, saw the litter everywhere in the streets and a vehicle burglarized. Went out for supper and felt more comfortable coming back as there were lots of friendly people around. We were in the annex which is around the corner from the lobby. They rent a floor in an apartment building for the hotel. It felt a bit weird but it was fine. The room had noise reducing windows so it was quite. The beds comfortable, room clean. Breakfast was basic juice, cakes, bread, meat, chees, cereal etc.
wqonderfull
Location
Pleasant employees, they held our luggage until check in time, since we arrive a bit early. Breakfast not good, really close to the termini station, comfortable beds. helpful staff.
We were in the annex, it was really nice looked like it had been newly refurbished. Was pleasantly surprised. It was about a 5-10 min walk away from the main termini station but most places were in walking distance so location was great. The room was basic but was really clean and comfortable. We didn’t get breakfast at the hotel but there were really nice places to eat close by. Check in and out was quick and easy the man at reception was pleasant and friendly. Overall great location and good value for money.
Overnight near Termini
Clean, comfortable, modest hotel with excellent reception. Let us check in early after long overnight flight from the States. Convenient to Termini.
Clean good value hotel
The room was as advertised. The staff very kind and helpful. The area is good yes there are some unkempt people but it is a large city. I never felt unsafe. Breakfast was a good continental buffet...keep in mind Italy isn’t a breakfast country. Would stay again. Ask for a room away from Main Street and all will be well
Value of money
Very good location, near the central station In the middle of attractions Very easy to get any airpot in the city
reasonably close to the railway station and metro
nice place to stay as a tourist to visit all the attraction. We went early and they allowed us to check in which was very helpful.
Convenient
Hotel is located close to main train station (2 blocks). Italian and Chinese reataurant also located nearby. Catholic church walking distance. Had two rooms in the hotel, one with a tub and one with shower, private toiltets. Very well maintained I would definitely say.
I would recommend this hotel for a short stay only. Check in was fast and the hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room made due since I knew we were only staying for one night. I would not recommend staying here for a long period of time. It's close to the Roma Termini station which is convenient but the neighborhood is a little sketchy. The bed was stiff.... if you jump on it youre not bouncing back my friend. Bathroom was small but had all of the necessities. Wi-Fi was fast. Our biggest downfall was the AC, the room was stuffy and we wanted to turn it on but quickly learned the hotel keeps it regulated at 23°c, we weren't able to get it any cooler.
Best bargain in Rome
This is a very no frills hotel. It's not fancy, or big, or has a lot of amenities. What it lacks, it makes up for with a great central location, great pricing, and a super staff. It was my 1st time in Rome. I am a bargain vacationer. This place was close to the main train station. I was able to get busses & subways to everywhere. It's near a laundromat and a 24 hour mini market which made for long stays extremely easy and budgeting for food and drink. What I loved most was the staff. The front desk was always helpful, the breakfast staff was always nice, & they made sure you were kept pretty happy. They knew they did not have a lot, but they always did everything with a smile. I would stay here again. If you want a 5 star spa & experience, go somewhere else. But if you want a place that will treat you wonderfully, help you with everything, not charge you an arm & a leg, & let you get the most out of your time out of the hotel & in the city itself... this is the spot. You go to Rome to see the sights, not to spend hours in the hotel.
Piemonte is the best
This is a great hotel at a great price. 7 minutes from the train station, they have 2 building. We stayed in the annex 50 feet from main building. Very friendly staff, they also had an electrical converter for our phones. Breakfast was ample. Clean room, hot towel rack, mini fridge, free great wici
Hotel Piemonte | Hotel in Rome | Travala.com
This building was comfortable and felt more secured compared to the annex. The main building felt more of a hotel with modern amenities. Make sure you get or print a copy of your buffet reservation as they'd ask for it. Hotel Piemonte is walkable to Roma Termini. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.
