Little hotel with charm
Cute unique little hotel. Decent location. Plenty of restaurants and quick shops around. The room with the kitchenette is very useful. Good size fridge. Stove etc. tile in the room made it feel nicer than a traditional hotel of this age. Room was very spacious with plenty of storage area. Was able to hook up Roku to the tv with no issues. Room was well stocked with towels, kitchen ware, and very needed ear plugs. Hotel is booked with a lot of Disneyland visitors. So there are a few waves each day of rowdy groups coming and going. But it past quickly. Market inside the hotel was nice and convo went. Had a good variety of snacks and beverages all done through self check out. Warning: there is an additional hefty fee at the hotel that is separate from the charge you already paid to book the hotel. Kind of a surprise. It was not just a few bucks but a significant charge. Walking distance to the public golf course. Parking was available at a low cost. Staff was very friendly.
Everything was nice and quiet
Comfortable, clean hotel with a kitchen. Great location
Great place for short stay
First time staying here and it was absolutely amazing we loved how convenient it was to Disneyland this is definitely a hotel worth staying at, at your next visit to Anaheim
Charming
This charming, Spanish-style hotel has received some awkward “updates” over the years but retains an appealing atmosphere. It’s rough around the edges but comfortable. I hope the continue to maintain and improve on the lovely vintage style.
Very comfortable room, great for a cozy stay after visiting Disneyland and any of the local sighta.
Large kitchen with everything you need to cook. Shouldn't call breakfast included without some hot foods..
This hotel was an amazing affordable stay for the weekend the room was very nice and the bed was comfortable along with a friendly staff.
Classic order hotel. Nice condition.
I liked that it felt like a little apartment.
Be cautious when staying here, not bad, only ok.
The rooms looked like they had been remodeled but poorly. The cupboard doors didn't close properly, the bathroom shower handles fell off, the water goes hot cold hot cold while showering. I loved the vanity mirror and giant closet. The beds weren't super comfortable but I've had worse. The pillows left a lot to be desired and the blanket they had as a comforter felt like it was from the 80s. The old looks soft but is actually super hard and itchy. The worst part was the "breakfast" they had. It was a non breakfast. They had coffee and tea, bananas and boxed cereal. This is false advertising. It's not a true breakfast. We spent extra for this hotel so we could have breakfast included and still had to go get actual food.
Property charges daliy pet and parking fee.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was so so but there was a security guard on property. Room was dated but the kitchen was nice to have. Price was appropriate for all. Stayed here to go to Disneyland and it was about 10 minutes from the park and a $12 Uber ride.
Great stay!!
This is an older property, but adequate for a night or two.
Perfect location with full kitchen
Great hotel with full kitchen. Very clean and great staff. Comfy bed and upscale linens.
Lovely family friendly hotel
Such a cute and charming hotel!!! Stayed here with our kids so we could take them to Disneyland, as its a pretty close location (10 minute Uber ride). Felt very safe & welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!
PERFECT LOCATION!
Wonderful location in between Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm! Accomdating and helpful staff! Water pressure in showers was our only downside but we can survive that easily lol! Great stay will be back!
Staff were helpful, especially through texting and the room was clean. It’s nice to have a kitchen in the room, but it needs a small table. Room decor needs an upgrade as well as the pillows and bathroom fan which was loud. It would be preferable if the front and back doors were shut for added security and warmth. The hotel is close to Disneyland and the Packing District, note that there is a $15 parking fee that we were unaware of. Our biggest issue was that some of the guests were loud, talking, laughing, playing music and crying babies, wish people were more considerate. Minimum breakfast options, mostly muffins and danishes, could use yogurt and oatmeal. It was a great price.
Great little find
Very courteous staff. Nice place to live
Beautiful hotel , really enjoyed my stay!!
Cute rustic design with upgrades like outlets on top of drawers and dimming mirror. Very large room. Nice kitchenette with little oven. Spanish tile floors, although the carpet is dated. The perfect mix make it more comfortable than the rest. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
I thought this was a great place to stay and had a great feel. The room was clean and well equipped for cooking. The hotel is less than 10 mins from Disneyland. There are plenty of food options close by. Scratch was a great restaurant to eat breakfast at right next door in the morning or we went across the street to Vallarta and had really good tacos inside the grocery store. I'd stay here again!
Perfect location near Disney and Knotts and Ubers to both easily. Loved the studio apartment feel!
Cute boutique hotel, close to Knotts berry farm and Disneyland. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the room was a bit dated but overall a good stay for a short time.
Thanksgiving 2024
My stay here was very comfortable! The service was great and customer service was welcoming and friendly! It was clean and had the full kitchen to cook! I would definitely stay here again!
Great property
Na
This is more like a themed motel. It's very rustic and has lots of character. Not a fancy place my any means. It was nice having a cozy room with a kitchen and a large balcony. There was definitely a musty/moldy smell in the room though. But after opening the windows and turning up the AC, it was fine. All the staff were excellent, super sweet and accommodating. The local area is definitely not safe to walk around at night. So be careful. Other than that, it an okay place.
Really noisy you can hear people in the corridor rolling their luggage or talking/running. Since it’s close to disneyland the had a young familly with kid running and screaming. We could hear evrything. I do not recommend this hotel.
i didnt like that the families around our room were noisy. i did like the outdoor patio for our furry ones.
It was okay
It was not bad , the room had a stench like sewer water and the room had lots of flies . Other than that it was ok
Helpful staff
This hotel is a fantastic value You get a large room with a full kitchen.
it was a super pretty hotel and a really big room! the stuff they used to clean was kinda stinky, but i’m glad to know it was clean!
Hotel is great, clean, friendly staff. The area has lots of eating options. Not too congested. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend and would go back again to this hotel.
That there now is a charge for parking. We stayed on the ground floor this stay and it was ver noisy because we could hear the persons above us dancing and singing. The tile floor is makes more noise. Would not stay on ground floor again, only top floor.
Beautiful property and wonderful staff who were above and beyond. Highly recommend this hotel to others.
I lived this property. I chose it based on ratings and the boutique style with the Hispanic theme. It was so clean you could smell it at all times it was fresh and fabulous. Just adorable! We had a patio with a small table and chairs where we could enjoy breakfast but still have privacy provided by the pretty blooms on the tree. Lots of room and a great pool. The only thing I’d advise is bring earplugs as the traffic can get a bit loud early in the morning. There is a lot of local places to do laundry and stores and it was only 10 minutes to Knotts Berry Farm. We drove less than an hour to Newport and went whale watching and the airport took about 30 minutes! We will probably return to this property!
The theme, & also free coffee only thing missing is a gym
We had a wonderful time there, nice pool to hang out in.
The rooms were very spacious! I didn’t like that we had to spend $15 a night for parking. I think that is ridiculous to pay for parking especially when it’s very limited parking and we are already spending $150 a night. Plus I was expecting a full free breakfast with this hotel but it was only chocolate chip muffins and blueberry, packaged small honeybuns, little bowls of 3 kinds of cereal and apples/oranges that was not looking appetite at all. The same food put out each day. Then they had limited coffee which one day they ran out of creamer. Not happy about the food especially when I have 5 kids to feed. That was all they had to eat and drink.
Old...but nice
The hotel is a bit run-down....could use new paint throughout. Staff was very friendly and hotel was quite clean. AC worked very well...and it was nice to finally have a hotel fridge/freezer that actually works. Not a great part of town...but safe enough to walk a block or two. I would recommend.
Very cute place
Great quiet place for an overnight stay! Close to amenities and Disney land driving distance at a great price. Ok breakfast but good coffee
The first family trip was a total success. It wouldn't have been possible without a goof night sleep. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The area is a bug plus. Convenient and close to everything that needed to get done. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Super nice staff. They went extra and placed balloons and card for my birthday. What a surprise and very much appreciated. Thanks alot.
Close and Comfy!
Great stay! Was so great they let me check in late so I could stay at Disney a while longer! Comfy bed and full amenities made for a convenient stay and closeness to the park meant I didn’t have to drive all night to get home instead!
It has a homie feeling which is good
Liked everything except for the towels ( old, thin and stained) and the kitchen could have been better stocked.
cute, clean hotel with spacious rooms and balconies on each room. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Beds very comfortable and the store downstairs very convenient. Only a few restaurants around, we had to drive but everything very close. Close to Disney and Knottsberry Farm.
highly recommend this place, it felt so welcoming stores were close and staff was very friendly
This is our second stay here and enjoyed it very well. The room was spacious, clean, had all the things we would need - couch, TV, coffee table, well stocked kitchen with utensils, closet space for unpacking clothes, patio with table and chairs. The only thing we didnt like much was the view of the dump but we didnt spend too much time on the patio. The breakfast was decent, could have more veg options. The front desk staff was very good and helpful!
Beautiful rooms and patio
The property was beyond our expectations. It was clean and very nice. We were very surprised with everything and very much enjoyed our stay. We will most definitely be finding an excuse to rebook!
Cozy Hacienda Hideaway
I love this little hotel. It has the ambiance of a hacienda. The staff are lovely, helpful folks. I had some requests that were quickly honored. The rooms are nice, with balconies or patios. Parking can get a bit tricky on nights when the hotel is full but overall, I think this is a little gem of a hotel, away from the madness of the theme parks.
Only small dogs allowed
Hotel has 25lb limit on dogs but it is not addressed on travel/ booking apps or websites. It also does not say anywhere in the pet agreement forms that there is a weight limit. Great hotel other than pet rules being unclear :)
Great day
Highly recommend!!!
The room was extremely clean and orderly. The staff helps you 24/7 through calls or texts. The environment is so peaceful, secluded on a way. I am in a busy city but feel like I am at an oasis. Staff are always on it, always friendly, never rude. I highly recommend this hotel. Its my favorite hotel and I can be picky 🙂
I like everything in this place.
Great!
We loved our stay and loved the kitchen area and breakfast area. The only thing we didn’t like was having to pay for parking considering we were guests that already paid to stay there and the parking was not gates or fenced in which would have made the parking fee more understandable.
Very nice property we have stayed many times
Old woodwork and mirrors was amazing. Cool to see and charming. Raised tile was cool, but lots of noise with rolling suitcases across it all the time. The pool was fantastic ... heated, clean, big enough to be able to swim not just soak like at some hotels. But the building is OLD, not modern at all. Lots of things falling apart. A knob in the shower fell off, the fan in the bathroom was squeaking LOUDLY at one point, the faucet in the kitchen sink was backwards (left for cold, right for hot), hot water was scarce, the breakfast bar was LAME, and one of the staff at the front desk was a total b*#@$ ...
Lovely facility, extremely comfortable room with a full kitchen and lovely patio, with a water fountain. Well thought out bathroom and closet areas. Pool was very nice. Wished the pool towels were larger. Continental breakfast was good and coffee machine was lovely. Truly enjoyed my stay in this place, would definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Pros: Free parking, free continental breakfast, convenient location, good size room with kitchen, comfortabel bed, friendly staff. Cons: Loud banging noises from doors closing inside hotel, loud voices in the hallway can be heard inside room, upstairs guest movement can be heard, mosquitos come inside the room, no screen door to patio, room had odor like ammonia(?), dirty sock odor when sitting on couch next to the bed.
Always our go to hotel when we’re in the area. We love it. The staff is great and perfect accommodations.
Good place to stay!
Dogs were barking in the Hotel intolerable for several hours. Male staff person rude.
Stayed for 2 days and nights. Love that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog with us. The room was really nice and cozy.
I was pleasantly surprised on how incredibly clean and well kept this hotel was. I couldn’t be happier with the clean, spacious and up to date the room was. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Very convenient location for my visit. Small, quiet hotel with super comfortable beds, nice balcony, south/north facing so no blinding and hot sun ever coming thru glass wall. Convenient to everything I needed and the morning coffee was very good.
Nice property. Would stay here again.
Everything was fine
Great property
Great place for families
Wonderful place that would be perfect with a more substantial breakfast
Enjoyed our stay! Very convenient location which allowed our dog to join us. Smaller hotel which doesn’t provide breakfast just on the go snacks. The smaller size also made it so that the noise level isn’t and issue like other hotels.
The room has a private patio where we took our morning coffee. The hotel was clean with a Hispanic decor, it felt warm and inviting. I would stay there again
Excellent
The staff were very friendly and helpful however the AC never cooled the room down and the beds were barely softer then the floor.
Would stay again
Great staff and kid friendly
Will repeat this one.
Very helpful staff. The place is a little older, but with some nice amenities (electronic vanity mirror, TV with streaming ability, kitchen and full refrigerator, Microwave, stove and oven). Staff care about patrons' needs and concerns.
Room had fruit flies and flies in room and couldn’t get rid of them.
Room was clean, dishes, pot and pans included to cook in kitchen. Refrigerator and microwave. Bed was amazing. Good place to unwind
What I didn’t like was that there was no cable, the house next to the property was partying and was sooo loud at night and the breakfast was mediocre at best. I did like the convenience, the staff was good and the rooms were nice.
Amazing place.
The walls are very thin but besides that, this also is one of the cleanest hotels ive ever stayed in. Ive had doubts but I definitely judged this book by its cover, its a great neighborhood with a lot of friendly people and the staff was absolutely terrific. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting disneyland
Overall it was a great stay. Nice small hotel, great and welcoming front desk staff. Convenient kitchenette (just missing some salt and pepper), ample closet for clothes and shoes. The balcony was also a nice place to enjoy a morning coffee. The only minus I can think of is the breakfast, which needs more of a selection.
Q Convenient
Loved this little gem. Had such a great time during our stay. The staff was very nice and made our check in and check out process really simple. They have a nice pool that stays at 70 degrees and the rooms are adorable and well decorated.
I would definitely stay at the Hotel Pepper Tree again. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
I would definitely stay at the Hotel Pepper Tree again. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful.
👍
Great hotel, pleasant staff. Room was clean, well lit, great atmosphere. This hotel definitely punches above it’s weight class. Thanks for an amazing stay!
Comfortable
My stay was amazing. I liked that the rooms was spacious. The staff was amazing. I liked that there was a lot of local restaurants and shopping within a 5 mile radius. I would definitely stay again.
Just sent 1 night Very little feedback

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pepper Tree. Though, unfortunately, we were only there for one night, we appreciated the beauty of this establishment. Our room was amazing--large, clean, comfortable, with lovely Spanish-style decor. We wish we could've stayed longer, and hope to be back. Worth noting, my husband had left something behind in our room. Before we even realized it, I got a message from the hotel informing us of this and offering to make arrangements to return it to us. We appreciated the honesty, efficiency, and promptness very much.
