We stayed for 3 nights as a couple. This hotel is close to the termini and to St. Mary Majorie which was in our itinerary as pilgrims of the Jubilee. We chose this hotel for the location because we did the Hop On, Hop Off bus on our first day in Rome. We visited Venice on the 2nd day, so we needed to be near the Termini as our train was at 5:50am.Our hotel was a walking distance to major transportation stops. Our room was cleaned everyday, was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Our room was facing the street and on our first night, we could hear the noise up until midnight. The hotel room has glass windows, wooden blinds and another set of soundproofing panel yet the noise still went thru. It didn't bother us though, we could hear it but was so tired and inclined to sleep, it didn't really bother us. The next day, I thought the commotion will start early but no it didn't. It started at around 8:30am, so if you're aiming to sleep 8 hours, it was still possible. Overall, our experience was pleasant that we highly recommend this hotel to those who are want to spend time in Rome like the way we did.

Great Hotel

Lovely hotel. Beautifully renovated, looked new inside. Everything was perfect. 2 blocks from Roma Termini, convenient to everything. Big supermarket one block away. Breakfast on roof was best of trip.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. The receptionist’s attitude was cold and dismissive, making the check-in process stressful and uncomfortable. Instead of feeling like valued guests, we felt like an inconvenience. The communication was poor, and when we raised concerns, they were either ignored or met with indifference. Ultimately, the situation was so frustrating that we had no choice but to cancel our stay and find another hotel. To make matters worse, we were denied a refund despite the unacceptable service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant, hassle-free experience. Poor communication and unfriendly service ruined what should have been an enjoyable stay.

Great location near Termini train station. Pretty noisy outside, but once you close the windows, it was quiet. Very broad selection for breakfast including eggs and bacon.

Great hotel and staff! The room was perfect with a breakfast option. The staff were so kind and friendly. They were very helpful and provided many recommendations. The only thing is the gym could use some work. They have machines, but they are all broken. Luckily, they had some random free weights that I used during my trip.

The hotel is very nice and clean inside. However, upon our arrival, the staff is very nonchalant. I felt like just another tourist who had checked into hotel. Nothing special no warm welcome no hello. In the following days we need a taxi to get to the various tours that we had planned my partner, a female requested a taxi from the desk clerk, and he virtually ignored her. Then I stepped up and requested that the clerk orders a taxi, and he immediately went to his computer and did so. The exact same thing happened the next day, my partner a female requested a taxi, and the clerk virtually ignored her again. So then I requested a taxi and again the clerk went to his computer and ordered one. My partner was not happy about the way she was treated and ignored and expressed her feelings to the clerk. She basically related to the clerk that she felt ignored because she was a female, but when A man stepped up, Whatever his request was immediately considered. The clerk then canceled my request for a taxi and we had to go outside and flag one down ourselves. We decided to cut our trip short and return back to the United States. On the day we decided to leave there was a female clerk working at the front desk as well. She was absolutely amazing. I give that woman five stars, had a nice smile, she arranged the transportation for us to the airport And was extremely pleasant. We checked out of the hotel three days early and were billed over thousand dollars as a no-show .

Breakfast included with the room was great we had a double room so was a nice size, as well as big bathroom, the mini fridges were a great touch on the hot summer days. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay if the need arises.

4 day stay in Rome.The Hotel Palladium was conveniently located 2 blocks from the Rome Temini Train Station. The area is busy but we felt safe at all times. The staff were very friendly and check in took only minutes. Please be aware that the elevator is small as in most Italian hotels - holds two persons and small luggage but staff brought the big suitcases up for us (we tipped as is custom). The room had two twin beds put together but it was very comfortable with a set of sheets and optional duvet. Four pillows were on the bed with an extra one in the closet. There was a safe in the closet. The A/C worked great to a low temp. of 21C/70F. Bathroom is small but water is hot and shower worked great. Towels were clean as well as sheets. Towels changed daily. We had the optional paid breakfast on the 6th floor daily. Choice was plentiful with coffee, milk juice selections, cereal, pastries, bacon, eggs, toast, yoghurt, and pancakes. All very nice. Staff will check your room number to make sure you paid for breakfast so beware. We felt safe in and around the hotel. It is very busy but convenient to the Metro, buses and trains at the Termini. Lots and lots of places to eat with various types of food (also a KFC and Mcdonalds within less than 5 minutes to the hotel. I would heartily recommend this hotel and will stay there again if in Rome.

Walkable places

Overall a good place to stay in Rome. Only 5 minutes to the train station and metro. Easy walking to many of the sites in Rome. The beds are very firm, and the AC is limited to a 4 degree range. It will automatically go back to the warmest setting when leaving the room with the key card. It was incredibly hot in Rome during our stay but we were mostly comfortable in the room. Most travelers from the US probably expect colder AC but this is typical for all of Rome. The last night we did experience an issue with our AC which we let them know about as we checked out. We did enjoy our stay and would stay there again. Loved the conscience to the location.

A ! We had an excellent stay. The facility was clean and extremely close to Roma Termini train station and tons of restaurants. Walkable to the Colosseum too. Above all was the great staff. The front desk, breakfast staff, and bartender were very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Palladium Palace if you’re visiting Rome.

Happy stay

The hotel is very nice clean the buffet breakfast was really good the location is very near to Termini Station it is noisy around there but we just closed the windows and noise was gone!! I would definitely recommend it!

The hotel and its staff are wonderful! It is an older hotel with very small rooms but everything inside was super clean and our bathroom, while small, was quite modern. The staff are very caring and their extravagant rooftop breakfast was also a major bonus.

The room on the ground floor we ve got was full of mold and its smell which only figured next day of our stay.

Close proximity to central train Station

The staff and the hotel are amazing! I do not have enough great words to describe them. The room was clean, convenient and spacious to our family of 4, the breakfast was one of the best I've had in the region and the location is very convenient.

My family stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in Rome. The location is super convenient as it is very close to Roma Termini for quick access to the high speed train or Metro. The room was very small and our bed had holes in them on both side so we were very uncomfortable. The AC did not cool very well and I later learned that it cannot be control from your room thermostat. The Front Desk controls your the AC setting in your room. Breakfast was decent. Room was noisy. Best attribute of the hotel is its proximity to Roma Termini.

Great hotel but our air conditioning did not work and no hot water at the odd hours 5am

This was our favorite of the 3 hotels we stayed in on our trip to Greece and Italy. The hotel was in great condition and felt upscale. The breakfast was good and it was nice to have a gym on site. The best feature of all is the proximity to the Naples Central station. It was so nice to get off the train or Metro at the end of the day and be right at our hotel.

Breakfast could be better, coffee was absolutely awful.

Everything was very good. Except it was not clearly advertised thst the courtesy bus seevice was not applicable for CIAMPINO AIRPORT.

Air conditioning barely worked and did not get to temp set to and kept shutting off. Breakfast was very good.

Extremely convenient since this is located near Roma Termini. It was helpful as we were taking the rail from Venice and Port Civitavecchia. Breakfast was amazing and a wonderful addition. It is walkable to major sites, but not that close, and the area didn’t feel the safest as a family with small children.

Affordable

Location was good for my first time . There were restaurants around but most closed early . We could walk around and shop at some local stores . The bar upstairs was pretty but no one was up there so we took our drinks to go . If your looking for an affordable place in Rome this is the place

This incredible find is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with equally impressive staff. The rooms that we stayed in were rich with charm and character and easily suited for our party of 3. This is definitely well worth staying for the beautiful courtyard and the breakfast offered. I'm looking forward to returning to Villa Royal very soon!

The A/C in our room never cooled the room. We had it down to 20 centigrade and it never happened. Lots of construction in the hotel. The rooftop bar is just a room on the top floor. Not a true rooftop bar.

Decent place very close and at walkable distance to the central station. Beds and pillow are not very comfortable. Good breakfast.

The only thing I liked was that it was close to the train station cause I there on the train . But i was there for 2 nights and in the morning i tried going to the roof top and the lady upstairs at the cafeteria told me only for people who payed for breakfast and breakfast is over is past 10 look at your watch you no see, that’s what she told me I was like WTH is wrong with this lady .breakfast is over so what that have to do with me going to the roof top .it’s literally 30 minutes walking to everything and on the way back it’s going up the hill but the worst part is this place outside on the streets looks like you might get robbed.so if you go please just pay a little extra and stay somewhere that’s 5 minutes walking to the Trevi Fountain it will be your best time you’ll have if you just stay close to the Trevi fountain

Very clean. Friendly front desk staff. Just had a misunderstanding with the maintenance guy regarding the door. Otherwise, our room is very comfortable and modern. Love the bathroom with LED lights. Only thing is the room need more sockets.

Enjoyed our few days in this hotel. Staff were very accommodating and helped us with the bags in a late check in. Location was great, 2 minute walk to the termini metro and train station which meant you were never far away from all the main attractions in Rome. Breakfast was surprisingly good with a good choice and the hotel was spotless. They all work very hard and are very friendly and helpful. Room was a bit small for a family of four but for all the time we spent in it, it absolutely did the job, a great city hotel. Would highly recommend.

Good Location

Exceptional 10/10

Upon arriving and walking in the door, we were greeted with friendly smiles. Gianfranco and Delena were excellent! There friendliness was awesome. The room we had was excellent, the beds were very soft. The room was clean and the bathroom was out of this World Beautiful. We were located very close to the train station and city centre. We will stay again.

We just returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel with 3 children. The room was comfortable and clean, perfect size. The best thing about this hotel is its location, 2 blocks away from Roma Termini which makes it super easy if you're using Rome as the base and then from there take day trips elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants around, most were open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so we did not notice much of a difference. The staff was very courteous and the check-in and check-out process was easy. The cleaning crew were great as well. Overall, we loved it, recommend it and will stay here again.

"Hotel Palladium Palace in Rome, Italy, is an average hotel, situated in the heart of Tourist area and close to Rome Central Station. Well suited for tourists. Its location is unbeatable, being within walking distance from major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. All within a radius of 30 Minutes walk. We stayed in a quadruple room with two double beds. Very compact room and hardly much space to keep 4 big suitcases. The front desk staff was not very helpful. We asked for extra tea bags and they charged us 2.5 Euros per bag. breakfast was great with lot of options as it was included in our room price. Worst part of this hotel is the noise on the road. We had a lot of disturbance at night due to traffic , repair works, and sirens. We had to keep the windows open as the room AC was turned off by the management. Only heating was on. For tourists, the essential factors in an hotel stay are convenience, cleanliness, and comfort - the '3 Cs.' On these criteria, Hotel Palladium scores 10/10, 6/10 and 3/10 respectively. I won’t be coming back to this hotel again unless I have not other options ---

Great location a few minutes from the train. Breakfast from 7am to 10am. wide selection. Beautiful rooftop view. Mini refrigerator in room greatly appreciated. Room very clean. Staff super helpful.

Excellent location, high level of service

There was nothing unique about this property. The price is to high for this hotel and the service is bare as well as the comfort. 1st, the only working elevator was extremely small like less space than a utility closet small. 2nd the breakfast was ridiculously cold, there weren't many options, it was mainly small continental. Yogurt, croissant, some cake and some ham. The front staff are helpful when you need them but that's about it. The area is close to alot of tourist areas, but nothing within 3 blocks that stays open late to do much of anything except eat and drink after 10/11pm and in all the neighborhood is safe but Don't spend your money here. This hotel is a prime example of collecting alot of money but not upgrading or investing in better. There are other hotels going for the same or less amount who have better service, better food options, better rooms and a better experiennnce over all. We honestly hated it and will not recommend to anyone.

I had reserved a 2-bedroom suite months in advance of our trip and when we arrived we’re given a 1-bedroom suite. When I said this wasn’t what I reserved the person argued with me and tried to convince me that it actually was two bedrooms (it wasn’t). Then when I checked out they charged me for the 2 bedroom suite even though the first night we only had the one-bedroom. It was not a nice way to arrive and I don’t want the argument on top of it.

Hotel is near the train station, metro, shopping and famous sites. Also there are grocery stores very close. My room was quiet and very clean.

My husband and I always stay at this hotel when we travel to Rome, as do some of my colleagues. The location close to Stazione Termini and the bus and metro stations makes it very convenient for visitors both to get to the hotel and to visit attractions in the city or to take day trips to nearby points of interest. The staff has always been efficient, courteous, and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is excellent.

It was ok to have termini near by, that way i was able to go around easily, taking the train or busses.

Hotel was 5 min walk to Termini train station where you could catch Metro to Roma city sites, catch trains to the coast and across Italy. Extremely convenient home base even just walking to some sites about a mile away. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was adequate, not plush but still comfortable.

Perfect family hotel in rome

Perfect for a family in Rome - we had twelve people in four rooms - two blocks from train station; two blocks from HOHO Bus; two blocks from start of attractions - super friendly and helpful - clean, roomy, everything you could ask for - and a great free breakfast in the morning - only place I would stay in Rome

Overall, it was a great experience to come to this hotel for a second time. The breakfast was good in the morning, great service, the only thing is that it takes awhile for the air condition to work and function throughout the night. The hotel is in the wrong area, it tends to get crowded on rush hour near the train station. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Great friendly staff. Clean and well maintained great for families. Walk to the colosseum. During summer, will be nice if there was a fan in the room as well. The ac was not that effective. In the bathroom have fixtures so that you can keep body wash. It was a great bath and shower but no place to keep this stuff. I would go here again. Thanks to the great staff

Don’t stay here, the area is run down, the bed was very hard, pillows too flat, and the AC did not work properly!!! It was a sweat box in our room nightly! There was prostitution happening nightly outside of our hotel! Rats were eating the trash piles placed out on the corners by businesses nightly! Disgusting! This entire area of Rome is a crap hole! Finally, none of the plugs worked in the room too.
