My stay at Hotel Palio

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Palio, room was good size and clean, decent breakfast , close to train station and local market and friendly staff.

Great location, great value for money and an incredibly friendly and welcoming staff!

Staff excellent !!

It is not luxury, but functional. The floor carper should be replaced. People at front desk are very helpful.

Excellent service, Accommodations and restaurant!

Excellent accommodation and service. The young man at the desk spoke good English and was extremely helpful. The room was lovely with a very nice balcony. The amenities in the room were very nice. It would’ve been a bit better had there been a teapot so we could’ve made coffee in the morning, but the breakfast in the restaurant was so great that it made up for that. We also had dinner At their restaurant and it was one of our best meals of this trip. We cannot recommend the place highly enough. A very fine place to stay!

Its a lovely hotel, well located with a friendly staff and excellent restaurant. The rooms were bright and airy and spacious. The only reason I don't give it full marks is the very poor quality wifi. I was in Asti on a business trip, and the wifi was so slow and erratic that I ended up buying a local SIM card with data and using my phone as a hotspot instead.

Trip to Asti

Overnight in Asti. Parking has a charge. Breakfast is so-so. But Coffee good! No English TV and the Olympics were in progress.News of the World??????

Breakfast poor No orange juice, no toast (they claim that they do not have a toaster!).

Good location. Close to train station and shopping area. Older hotel. Could use some upgrades but service was good. People at reception desk were helpful.

the staff where very helpful and a interesting place to stay in the way of local attractions where there to go to Alba for the white truffle fair which was amazing

Great location and a nice stay

Very comfortable and just a few blocks from the Asti train station, right in the middle of the shopping district. Clean and friendly, lots of nearby restaurants. Free wifi if you like the hotel on Facebook.

Brilliant nice hotel

Not sure why the rating of this hotel is so low as it is a formidable little hotel, very well placed and nicely done. I have used it in the past and I have found it even better this time. The staff is really friendly and now the hotel has a restaurant with a decent choice. Otherwise, there are a plenty of choice nearby.Really recommended

Paper thin walls

Able to hear snoring on one side and peeing on the other. Felt like they were in the room with my wife and I. Nice enough folks but thin walls and breakfast ending early was a bummer. Better off staying somewhere else unless your main objective is shopping- not sleeping (which is everywhere around the hotel)

soggiorno ad Asti

Struttura molto centrale ma piuttosto datata. L'arredamento delle camere avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. Wifi molto debole in alcune parti dell'albergo. Buona la colazione.

2.5 stelle! lasciate perdere non è un 4 stelle.

Per questo hotel, mi sento obbligato di mettere una recensione. Quando uno viaggia per un 4 stelle, si aspetta a tutto ma non questo. Piastrelle rotte, un bagno che sembra quello di un vecchio ospedale, giunti rovinati, vecchi…lettino della piccola che fa rumore e non stabile. Una climatizzazione che fa rumore e che non riesce a tenere costantemente la temperatura, troppo caldo, ho troppo freddo. Faccio raramente commento ma cosi non va! sono vent’anni, che tutte le settimane, per motivi di lavoro o altro, che vado sempre negli hotel in questo caso era per un weekend in famiglia. Darei un 2,5 stelle. Tutto è molto vecchio, merita una ristrutturazione totale. Con tutta la sincerità. Se cercate un quattro stelle lasciate perdere. Qualità prezzo non va bene! Non ho preso foto perché non volevo mettere in difficoltà l’hotel. Il personale è cortese!

Albergo discreto. Buona la posizione, in centro e con parcheggio pubblico vicino. 4 stelle sono un'esagerazione, a mio avviso 3 stelle sono già il massimo. 3 dicembre riscaldamento spento !!! Accensione termosifone in bagno alle ore 18. Buona la colazione.

Gutes Stadthotel

Die Lage ist gut und es gibt viele Gratisparkplätze in der Nähe, Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und unser Superior-Zimmer war auf einem Zwischenstock nur über die Treppe zu erreichen. Der Balkon war im Dach eingelassen und bot kaum Aussicht. Das Frühstück war italienisch und die Corona-Einschränkungen machten es nicht besser.

Entdeckung des Piemont

Es waren sehr schöne Tage sowohl in Asti, wie auch der Ausflug nach Barbaresco und Barolo. Wir kommen wieder, es gibt noch vieles zu erkunden!

Molto comodo, in cinque minuti si va ovunque. Parcheggi a pagamento.

Tutto perfetto non c'è altro da dire. Camera pulitissima e personale gentilissimo.

hôtel idéalement situé, un box pour garer la moto, un accueil parfait, aimables et disponibles. de bonnes indications sur les alentours. chambre confortable, petit dej très bien.

cabine de douche un peu ancienne, rue un peu bruyante le matin, mais accueil super sympa, très bons conseils sur les restos à faire, etc. Parking en sou-sol fermé pour nos motos. très bon hôtel.

Es war eigentlich alles Gut, ausser, dass die Nasszelle für ein 4 Stern Hotel viel zu klein war.

La struttura e gli arredi risultano decisamente vecchi...la colazione scarsa,quando abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile avere prosciutto e formaggio per i toast ( dato che erano rimaste solo 2 fettine) ce ne sono state portate proprio altre 2 sottilissime.

Ottima posizione e rapporto qualità/prezzo

Buon Hotel in posizione strategica. Stanza enorme e buon wifi, se devo trovare proprio una cosa che non andava...è la scarsità delle prese di corrente. Bella console dove poter appoggiare un pc dove poter lavorare...ma non c'èra una presa di corrente vicina e quindi piccolo disagio.

Esperienza molto positiva

Il mio soggiorno è stato solo di una notte ma molto soddisfacente. La stanza ci è stata data appena pronta ben prima dell’orario di check-in, pulita e calda, spaziosa e ben arredata, letto comodissimo, lenzuola gradevolissime al tatto. Il bagno comodo e con finestra apribile su terrazzino con massima privacy, personalmente non amo la moquette ma era comunque molto pulita. Il personale tutto molto gentile, in particolare i due receptionists. Colazione di buona qualità con molti dolci non industriali e comunque prevalentemente con roba dolce. Tornerei di sicuro e lo consiglio senz’altro.

Hotel a due passi dal Centro Storico di Asti. Comodo. Unica pecca il parcheggio a pagamento

Personale cordialissimo e competente, camera molto confortevole, ampia, calda e silenziosa. Ottima colazione. Posizione molto comoda, praticamente in centro ad Asti.

Albergo situato vicinissimo al centro e quindi da consigliare. Possibilità di garage per chi arriva in auto.

Bo toppen mitt i kärnan

Bra hotell i en bra mysig stad. Rekommenderar att bo i den inre kärnan, palio är ett perfekt alternativ.

cet hôtel très bien situé avec place de parc ,nous a très bien reçu et fourni un troisième lit ( ceci gratuitement ) pour notre petit-fils que nous avons du prendre avec nous au dernier moment .

Un ottimo albergo

E' uno degli alberghi più puliti in cui ho soggiornato (e viaggio molto in tutto il mondo). Il personale è estremamente gentile e attento ai clienti. Segnalo la professionalità di Jacopo, del ricevimento. Il ristorante è ottimo, anche lui con un servizio molto buono. L'internet funziona molto bene.
