Advertising of this property does not make it clear that not all rooms have an attached bathroom. The room we booked claimed to have an ensuite bathroom but we ended up having to share with 4 other rooms.

The hotel is not what they tell you on Expedia very old and shower wasn’t working, no wifi I had to be by the front desk to be able to get a access to wifi vey inconvenience, beside when I asked the guy on the front desk about the shower head wasn’t working he told us unfortunately because of the time and the day they couldn’t even fixed it also he told me I shouldn’t complain about that because we were there just from one night, I at point I called Expedia I couldn’t get through because wifi issues I finally got a hold of someone they called the hotel to confirm the issue and the receptionist hanged up the phone call, Expedia never call me back or as today I haven’t heard anything from Expedia, I always book through this app all my trips but apparently that won’t matter for you guys neither what a great customer service ..

Great staff and great location however let down a little as the room had a strong smoke smell, something I thought was a thing of the past.

Clean , Good breakfast with a beautiful terrace, but the room is small , I was expecting a more spacious one , especially the bathroom which was very small . Very friendly staff .

AWFUL - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The owner of the hotel is a scary aggressive man who tired to trick me into paying for the room twice by Our train was cancelled so we looked for a place nearby to stay. As it was late at night, I went to the hotel first to ask if it was still OK to make the booking, which they said it was, and then made it on hotels.com and paid through the site.

Short stay this time certainly will return again.

Was greeted by Mehdi in a very friendly manner who was most helpful with regard to fixing a fan in my room due to a malfunction with the air conditioning in my very comfortable room with a lovely queen size bed. Location of the premises is wonderful as it is central for the Termini plus in easy walking distance to many of the sites of Rome. I only had a short stay this time but most certainly will stay longer on my next visit to Italy.

Yep very nice hotel , can’t believe the effort they went too to make it feel like home & the food was just like I would have at home & they even managed to arrange the weather like it was in Scotland (don’t know how they managed that)

Highly Recommend

Gentlemen at the counter was very friendly & helpful. He carried my luggage to show us our room when we checked in. We received bottles of juice from him on one night, after learning of our next early morning outing plan. Generally we had a good stay in Orbis with reasonable pricing, breakfast included, in Rome, near Roma Termini.

The webpage never mentions that rooms does not have bathroom inside m. Bathroom is outside and shared with all guests

Rome Budget Hotel

The hotel is a budget hotel located a short walk from the train station. The property is clean, the manager was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, choice of coffees, juice and a pastry. It is located on the second floor of a building a little difficult to find at first. We stayed here a total of 3 nights. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, walking distance to the major sights, metro and main train station close by.We had a room with a private bathroom but some rooms do not have private WC. We were on the back of the building so very quite. Terrace for breakfast was very good. One note toilet paper is not flushed but put in a waste basket for disposal.If you are on a budget this is a good choice.

The Check in personnel, Mr Rahman, was very courteous & helpful. He greets customers with enthusiasm and helpful to answer any questions we have. The hotel's location is very good. Near to Termini station and the Main Bus terminal. Many food, groceries stores and café around the block. Recommended.

Nice for one night

Was perfect for the one night we needed to be close to Termini Station. Could improve cleanliness. Staff was helpful but not overly eager to help. Be aware of additional unusual charges, i.e. 7 euros for A.C. Breakfast typical pastry & coffee not of your choice.

Good effort but needs improvement

Very central location, less than 6 mins walk to the Termini. Wonderful and approachable staff. Breakfast was coffee/tea/choco, pastry, and juice. Our stay was hampered by several negatives: 1. Very spotty wifi. Keeps on disconnecting. Works fine for social media, but Google and other websites simply dont work all the time. Thr problem isnt with my phone, as I have been all over Europe and all over Italy with no probelems with the internet. 2. The third bed (the pull out single) badly needed to be replaced. The middle sagged bad causing back ache upon waking 3. The toilet flush system was leaking (its above the toilet bowl) 4. I distinctly booked a room with AC. The room did have an AC but apparently, i have to pay 7eu a day to use it. Luckily, theres good ventilation was it wasnt so hot. Location and staff were big plus factors. But the wifi and bed and AC were real deal brakers for me. I thank them for the hospitality but I wouldn't stay again.

Great place for a short stop over - 1 night only or more if on a budget. Easy to find the address but not so obvious from the street. Super friendly staff. Good location near Rome Centrale, less than 10 min walk. In the centre of eateries and things to see if you only have a few hours. Shower is squeezy, a/c at 7 Euro, safe extra.

Very good location, near to the train station, restaurants and market nearby. The staff was very friendly, helpful and gracious. Could use a few more amenities in the bathroom, but overall comfortable, perfect for a few days and if you are not planning on spending your days in your room. The breakfast is minimal, a pastry and coffee, but adequate for my needs. As I already said, the staff, especially Ali were very nice.

Bad experience

I choose this hotel just because is near the train station and a I had a train early; and because says breakfast is included. When I get there, they said breakfast starts 8:30h (after my trip) - this information is not at the site. After explaining about, they give us a juice, but wants to charge. So I had to show my reservation again, that says it was included. Really bad experience.

Really enjoyable stay, the staff make the hotel!

This was my 3rd time in Rome, always staying in the same street. Its a great area perfect for exploring and plenty of places to eat for a quiet evening. Love that the buildings are old and left traditional, let's you feel like you're in Italy and not a generic hotel that could be anywhere in the world and you wouldn't know. The staff were very helpful we were able to check at 11am when we got there. They gave us a map and highlighted all the sites and made suggestions. Good shower with hot water, plenty of soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. Breakfast is 8:30-10, we were leaving at 7:30 on the last morning so he came in early so we could have it before we left. Everything you need my only suggestion, which is nothing really, there was only the bathroom mirror and the hairdryer was in the main room so maybe a large mirror near the dryer for when getting ready to go out in the evening but as I said nothing and doesn't take anything away from the stay.

ENJOYED staff very helpfull, very central and great transport links. Very comfortable bed.

The staff was very co-operative and flexible with the check-in timings. Even that they had to stretch more to provide me breakfast early, they happily did it. I would definitely recommend the place.

Staff were friendly and acommodating but room needed more heat in Dec. Breakfast was ok but served outside again cold. Room was spacious and very clean. Bath modern and shower had plenty of hot water. Price was very reasonable but better to stay in warmer weather.

Arrived before check in time and no answer to leave our suitcases. We managef to get in and no problem to leave our suitcases and check in later. Staff very friendly and the room was clean and enough for our last nigjt before departing.

Bit too basic

Hotel is in an apartment block with several other establishments. Some looked more upmarket - Hotel Orbis much less so and I was given room in a different apartment on the same floor. Room didn't seem like it was a proper guest room (light switch was outside the door for example, plus was called private). A big minus I hadn't realised was there was no air conditioning, and with window open could hear lots of noise of fans whirring away even though didn't face the street. Only plus was that price was very good so I guess you get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay again, though if someone was short on money wouldn't tell them to avoid it completely.

It was ok no aircon too noisy to open window the bathroom plumbing needed repair. Overall 1.5 star

Good location but rundown old hotel.

The location of the hotel was really convenient very close to Rome Terminal station, which made it really easy for sightseeing. Lot of good places to eat around. Room was clean but there was a issue with the hot water in the shower. The hotel is pretty old and rundown.

The room is exactly as you see on the picture. The location was perfect since it is 4 min walk to train station (2 blocks). The room was very clean. No AC but a good working fan in the room. We had troubles with opening the front door (the outside door). The key was not cooperating. There is no buzzer - you have to call which was inconvenient for us. There are shops and restaurants on that street - which was good. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Solo in Rome

The front desk clerk was fabulously helpful!!! WiFi on the roof!

Everything was great. Someone came daily to clean our room. She provided to us information where to go. I am sending my mother there next year. Very nice place. However, there was mosquito and the wifi did not work/reliable.

Equipe super simpática!! Tudo o que precisar, é só conversar com eles! Com o coronavírus, nao fazem a limpeza nos quartos todos os dias. Localização ótima e muito fácil de ir (mesmo a pé) para as atrações de Roma. Quando fui, oS vizinhos eram um pouco barulhentos, mas nada com a equipe.

Not what I expected

I was expecting more of this hotel considering the prices and comparing it with the competition. I was staying in another hotel before (much cheaper) and I decided to change to this because of the terrace, wifi and breakfast, probably better room. (which would make sense since is more expensive but just in the door next to the previous one) I was a bit disappointed, I felt in a hostel, the room was very little with the shower and sink next to the bed and the toilet outside and is shared with the rest of the hotel (not close to the room), not ac just a fan and a single bed which was tiny and very uncomfortable to sleep, I was hitting myself with the wall the whole time while sleeping. The wifi doesnt work well with apple devices, some apps work, some doesnt. (I would have prefered to stay in the previous hotel tbh) What was good was the service and the breakfast. But still I don’t think is worth it for the price, I don’t consider this place to be a “hotel”. I decided to move to a new hotel yesterday and for 3 euros more per night I have a huge room, TV with internet, AC, whole bathroom in the room, perfect wifi and is just around the corner.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top. Man kann fast alles zu Fuss machen. Im Zimmer ist sozusagen alles kaputt und Wasser im Bad fliesst überall raus. Der Frühstücksraum ist ein Balkon mit Blachendecke. Das Frühstück besteht aus einem Kaffee, Saft und einem süssen Gebäck. Der Chef war nett, das andere Personal bediente uns während dem rauchen und den Handytelefonaten. Gegrüsst wurde nur wenn man zuerst grüsste.

Solo para pasar una noche o menos esperando ir a aeropuerto(fue nuestro caso)habtacion chica . Habia que abonar aparte el aire acondicionado . Mal funcionamiento del inodoro. Te cobran por guardar el equipaje 2 horas.

Zimmer sind preis-wert - günstig und daher kann man nicht viel mehr erwarten ... Dusche sehr klein, pro Person ein kleines Tütchen (Pröbchen) Duschbad, WC-Spülung SEHR SEHR schlecht ... Frühstück: 1 Gebäckstück, 1 Trinkpäckchen und 1 Tasse Kaffee/Tee/Wasser. Klimaanlage kostet 7 Euro extra. Nachts wird es bei offenem Fenster weder kühler noch ruhiger ... Für uns hat es aber gereicht und wir würden für den Preis wiederkommen. ACHTUNG: nicht verunsichern lassen: im gleichen Gebäude sind mehrere Hotels - das Hotel Orbis liegt in der 1. Etage!

Das Personal ist wirklich super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war für den Preis ok, im Bad gibt es meiner Meinung nach zu wenig Abstellfläche. An der Sauberkeit könnte man noch arbeiten. Beim Tresor gab es keine Beschreibung, das W-lan funktioniert schlecht bis gar nicht. Das Frühstück ist kein Buffett, sondern man erhält ein Heißgetränk, einen Saft und dazu eine Mehlspeise mit Füllung. Wenn man nich gerne süß frühstückt eher enttäuschend, aber auch hier sieht man aufgrund der Freundlichkeit gerne drüber hinweg. Ein Pluspunkt ist die Terrasse, die man bis ca 23:00 nutzen kann. Die Lage ist auch gut. Man kann die Sightseeing Hotspots gut zu Fuß erreichen, der Bahnhof Termini ist wenige Minuten entfernt (von dort kann man auch eine Hop on Hop off Bustour starten). Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu einem guten Preis empfehlen, wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat.

Hotel limpio cerca de Termini

Hotel céntrico, cerca de termini, las personas amables en la recepción, la verdad no tenia mucha fe en este hotel por las fotos, pero parece que lo han remodelado porque en persona se ve mejor que en las fotos, huele a limpio por todo lado, el desayuno no es rico. Realmente lo recomiendo para pasar unos días en Roma.

Bien situado cerca de Termini y del Metro. Instalaciones correctas, aunque los baños y ventanas no están muy bien cuidados, pero limpias por lo general y por el precio que pagas están bien. Desayuno compuesto de café, bollería y zumo, bastante bueno.
