Not a 4 star hotel, didn’t like it

First of all, I don’t know how this hotel is a 4 star… far from it! In need of a remodel, it just feels cheap and old. Rude staff, the free shuttle to the airport is a sham, you can’t book it beforehand, only when you exit, so you end up waiting 30 min or more after you call the hotel, as we were rudely informed when we asked why it was taking so long. On the morning we were to go to the airport, the bus broke down, so we ended up taking ubers anyway.

Food in restaurant wasn’t the best and pricey

The single reason I would not go back is because I was told the shuttle runs every half hour, but I was not told that it has to be scheduled and when it was booked full for the following six shuttles, I had to take a taxi. Good thing I was early or would have missed my flight.

Lovely hotel

Very close to the airport with free shuttle service. Full buffet breakfast was 16.50€. They have a restaurant open all day and offer room service! The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There is a large shopping center at the end of the road. Totally walkable. The hotel is just another black building from the outside. But inside it's quite nice. I definitely would return!

They started construction before 9am in the hotel- it was incredibly loud. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. Restaurant is wonderful.

I chose this property specifically for its proximity to the airport and shuttle service. What I discovered is that they could only take 6 people per shuttle with very limited shuttle runs. The property was nice enough, the breakfast buffet for an extra charge was good, but the lack of shuttle availability was a disappointment.

Convenient to the airport. Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Airport shuttle service is limited so I took a taxi both to the hotel and then back to the airport. Would stay here again.

Close to hotel with advertised shuttle bus however they had so few spaces on the shuttle bus which were booked up very quickly and they ran so infrequently it made the use of the shittle impossible.

Very clean and modern. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Accessible airport hotel

Airport hotel that we needed for 1 night, with easy to access shuttle bus. We went into Madrid for the evening, which is quite a trek (30€ in a taxi) but worth it to see the Christmas lights.

The hotel is very nice. But transfers to the airport is limited to 5 people every half an hour. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

Near a bus station.about 15 minute walk to a big mall.free airport shuttle.

The restaurant manager was obliging and helpful!

Not for me

The room is spacious and clean. Location is good. Free airport shuttle bus. But it’s not for me who was trying to catch the early flight out. First, the atrium design and a restaurant/ bar on the ground floor was very noisy with the echoing of people’s talking and laughing. And the restaurant opens till 1:00 am while we stayed there. Also, the rooms are facing the atrium. Second, the hotel has convention facility there. Maybe this was why the other guests came back late at night constantly and the noisy echoing through the atrium. The latest I got waking up was 3:30 am. So I didn’t have a good night sleep before the long flight home.

Comfortable, clean, spacious room. The breakfast was varied and very excellant for a buffet. Airport 2 minutes away but i didn't hear the planes. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Near airport. Loved that we had access to a shuttle.

My wife and I were flying home to the US and had an overnight layover, so Hotel Nuevo Boston was close enough to the airport to provide a very convenient night's sleep. The breakfast on-site was a good start to the day and we appreciated the shuttle ride back to the airport.

A brief stay for easy airport access

We have stayed at this hotel numerous time because of its convenient location to the airport. Very nice accommodations, and I have always been able to get a space in the garage for our rented car. The only complaint I have is that exiting and entering the garage with something other than a tiny vehicle is a HUGE CHALLENGE. It would be so nice if something could be done about this.

Hotel is very nice and clean! They were helpful and were able to provide us with a kettle to have in our room to heat our baby’s water. Close to the airport and with free shuttle! Shuttle guy was very nice and professional.

I arrived on a hot day and the room was too hot, I asked for their help in setting the AC to max. They set it at max, but the room never cooled. No ceiling fan. No other rooms available. Hot all night.

Very quiet. Room spacious. Bathroom had bathtub which my husband enjoyed. Restaurant food good. Staff friendly. Easy pick up from the airport

Friendly staff, very helpful snd kind. The facilities are like new, clean and neat, the soundproofing is excellent, there is no noise at all, even if the hotel is close to the airport.

Friendly, helpful staff. Some road noise, no air traffic noise. Getting the free shuttle from the airport was challenging as I wasn’t able to get through on the phone number given. Online booking would be better for the shuttle service from the airport. It was late and I ended up taking a taxi (€20 at time of this writing). Shuttle to airport was easy though.

Hotel breakfast is very good. Coffee was excellent. Check in nice and easy. Shuttle very limited hours. It does not run frequently , only on the hour. Small van too

Place is awesome except for fact that it’s away from any restaurants stores or shopping as very close to airport. It does have bar/restaurant and offers a very good buffet breakfast. Beds are very comfortable w duvet and a/c

I love my stay on Nuevo Boston from the reception, to the room and especially the breakfast buffet was delicious and the servers were very nice and attentive.

Short walk to mall with upscale restaurants. Prompt shuttle to airport. Delicious meals. Great staff. 1.6 miles to MAD. Truly four star.

This is a 7/10 or 8/10 not the 9.2 it is listed at. The pictures were deceiving.

Horrible

Guests do not have control of the temperature in their room. The hotel had turned on the heat full blast and my room was unbearably hot. Opening the window helped a little but let in a lot of noise and some mosquitoes.

No coffee maker of hot water kettle

Breakfast is great! However, the hotel room has no coffee maker of hot water kettle. There is no way to get any hot tea or coffee.

Very clean and modern. Complimentary breakfast buffet. Super nice staff. Free shuttle to the airport. I will be going back next time I'm in Madrid!

Hotel's restaurant food was impresive for being an airpeoryhotel

The property was clean, and the staff was helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good. The rooms were a little worn and the area around the hotel was not really great for taking a walk. But it's a great stay when needing to catch a flight from MAD.

Disappointing.

There was zero cool air (fan) or air conditioning in the hotel room. So the rooms were incredibly warm and way too hot to sleep comfortably at all. The pillows were either rock hard and too high and gave me neck pain, or was almost flat and gave my mother no support. There was no explanation or attempt at assistance for the air situation. We were “simply” told—sorry..the air conditioning and any air is off. Sorry! We were told to open the window. But there is no screen and construction and traffic noise outside the hotel—so we obviously did not want to leave the window open all night. Despite the window being closed, we could still hear the construction and traffic (even tho we asked to be in a room where we wouldn’t be disturbed by traffic noise) Never would have thought they’d be doing construction on the street early on a Saturday morning! Also—we could hear furniture and ppl moving things above us and it seems like the housekeeping was happening very early above us and outside in the hallway. And they were VERY noisy!! Our sleep was disturbed many times and it was just not comfortable at all. Also, with so many English speaking guests, one would assume the restaurant would have staff that spoke a bit of English. We found it very difficult to deal w the staff when we went for dinner. All in all, this was not what I was expecting when I booked this hotel, and did not appreciate having a horrible nights sleep the night before I had to take a 7hr flight.

A very gentle staff and an outstanding dining place near by. When in transit in Madrid I always come back

Airport transportation was great.

Airport shuttle was prompt. Staff was nice, responsive, and attentive. Only issue is that the A/C was not available during the night and the room was a bit warm.

Wonderful stay before we flew home. It makes me wonder why Canadian airport hotels can’t do better. Everything about this hotel was top notch.

We book for a three people room and got a queen bed with a smaller kid like bed. We expected three single bed the same style or quality.

We were surprised how big is unit (California King size bed, a lot of space in the room and bathroom) Close to airport and we got a transfer to/from the hotel. Breakfast is delicious with no $$$ cost. Big restaurant area, good options of food and not expensive Definitely will pick the hotel next time

The location is pretty far from the metro but they offer a free shuttle to the airport. The room was comfortable but you could hear noise from the hallway and the kitchen. We did eat in the dining room. The staff was friendly and the food was very good.

Close to airport. My husband and I stayed here. We requested king bed which was fine but you only get one very hard pillow per person. Very difficult to sleep comfortably and you only get one set of very worn out towels. I had to request a second set from reception. Breakfast was good. Hotel is very clean and in good condition. Just don’t expect a very comfortable sleeping experience. Those pillows are rough!!

Good option close to the airport. The airport shuttle is a great service and really convenient. There is not a lot in the immediate area but a short walk to a big mall and multiple supermarkets

Hotel is convenient (but not very close) to airport. Parking is on the street available (hotel also has underground parking for fee). Staff is very friendly. Room spacious.

It was convenient as it was close to the airport and provided shuttle service. However, the photos look better that what the hotel really looks. It doesn’t look new or modern as shown on the photos.

i have to say, for a property that serves airport clientele, the nuevo boston was a great find - attentive and warm staff, room and bathroom were very nice sized and clean - also, QUIET since sleep is a premium - would gladly stay again
