The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location of the hotel is close to all the major sights and in a safe neighborhood.

This small hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from the centre. Clean, friendly and comfortable. Natalie on reception is a treasure. We had room 114, their junior suite which was perfect for our short stay. Breakfast was limited choice but tasty. If you want a kettle or coffee maker (and cups) just ask reception. Good advice about restaurants. And great recommendation for ice cream in Soller. I would thoroughly recommended this hotel or a trip. .

We absolutely loved this little boutique hotel. Greeted with Cava at the check in really set it off right. Rooms are super nice and beds are comfortable. Shower was super nice! Walked everywhere and felt safe.

Great stay, great service

The staff was extremely helpful during our stay. The airline lost our luggage and they did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, including helping us call the airport to get updates. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel was in a great location. Easy to walk to the city centre, but not too busy.

People at the front desk (Louisa and her most beautiful smile): helpful, kind and always mindful to make our stay in Palma the most pleasant.

Wonderful hotel! Our highlights were the breakfast, the supremely friendly front desk staff and the pedestrianised walk into the city centre. It felt very safe.

Lovely hotel inside with great rooftop. Unfortunately, the gap under the door is quite large and you can hear people coming back late at night when you’re trying to sleep. I woke up to children streaking a few times. Other than that, can’t fault it. I enjoyed my stay. Thanks!

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They gave us many recommendations for our stay and a welcome drink. We enjoyed the decor and the bed was comfortable. It was also located just a short walk from the main city center.

We had an excellent stay here! Bubbles upon arrival, an enthusiastic and friendly host who gave us food/bar recommendations, a map of the city and overall made the process really relaxing and easy. The property itself is gorgeous! A lovely restaurant with an outdoor courtyard in the centre and a gorgeous rooftop terrace with a plunge pool and bar! At night the terrace had a great atmosphere with music and the bar opening. Our room was very comfortable and air-conditioned. We had a late flight and despite checking out the hotel allowed us to come and go throughout the day as we please to continue using the amenities and leave our bags with them. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return!

It’s in a great location for exploring old town Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful especially the receptionist unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she went above and beyond to be helpful.

Very friendly service, hotel looks recently renovated with interesting decor and a modern Moroccan feel. The restaurant is very popular and runs a very good limited menu.

Great little hotel

Delightful, tasteful & sympathetically renovated typical Mallorcan house in the old town opposite the columns, in a quiet & safe part of old town Palma. Reception staff very welcoming & especially helpful with information re sightseeing. Rooms clean & comfortable with good en-suite shower room & daily maid service, Good quality bed linen & towels. Well appointed dining room, good service, excellent & inexpensive breakfast, good value for money. Menu del dia for dinner was same daily, so limited choices, & difficult for anyone staying any length of time, but I appreciate that more choice could be an unreasonable request for such a small hotel's resources, storage etc. That said, it's a minor point. It's a walkable distance to restaurants . All in all, I would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The only negative and it is a relatively small one. A kettle in the room would be useful addition.

Wonderful Stay at Nou Baleares

My friend and I stayed here for just under a week during a short getaway. We absolutely loved this hotel and could barely find any faults with it. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, even went above and beyond. The hotel itself is very beautiful and the room was comfortable, simple but nicely furnished, spacious and felt really clean, and was cleaned daily. The mini fridge was really helpful to keep snacks and water in, too. The location was really good as well, definitely within walking distance of all the main city attractions, about 15-20 minutes. Could barely hear any traffic noise, in fact I think the other doors closing in the hallway was louder. One thing that would make it perfect would be to have a kettle / coffee machine. We didn't have breakfast there but the menu of the restaurant did seem a little bit limited for both breakfast and dinner and evening drinks options. Only other problem we had was a bit of confusion with their parking / the parking wasn't available even though we were meant to be paying for a space. (Just a tip, for renting a car - parking in Palma is an absolute nightmare - unless you want to pay 30 euros each night for an underground car park - we walked 15-20 mins to our car each morning. But still worth it) Overall it was a lovely stay and we looked forward to coming back to our room each night.

We stayed at the Nou Baleares in mid December to check out the Christmas lights in Old Town Palma. This time we came to see the Festival of the Three Kings at the port and in Old Town. Both times our stay was great. We were greeted with a glass of champagne upon arriving and this time were provided with an appetizer in the restaurant/coffee shop adjacent to the hotel. The staff is great and the rooms are comfortable. And the large rainshower in the shower is great.

Wonderful experience...staff was amazing and this is the best hotel breakfast i have ever had! Would definitely stay again.

When we first arrived at the hotel we were greetedd by Tony and given a glass of champagne and a bottle of water for our room. We walked into old town Palma which was easy to do from there and didn't get back until the evening. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning for 11 euros was really worth it. We would definitely stay there again when we come into Palma.

Fabulas stay

I stayed 4 nights. Excellent friendly reception on arrival with a lovely glass of champagne. Room spotless and facilities perfect. Breakfast was lovely but liked to be more vegan options e.g more cereals. Lovely view on 4th floor and nice mini pool. Location was great near public transport. Filling up a glass bottle the hotel gave you was a good idea to take up to your room but the glass bottle was heavy. Might be better idea if one was left every day in room. Loved the hotel and eould happily stay there again.

Solid basic hotel close to the airport for no frills stay. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was helpful. The downstairs restaurant had a small menu with limited vegetarian options. There is a cute small rooftop with a tiny pool. It’s 15 minute of walk to the center in a local part of town.

An excellent stay at Nou Baleares. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly - can’t thank Natalie enough for her amazing recommendations! Breakfast was great. Our room was in the inner part and was quiet. Bed was comfy and shower was great. All boxes ticked and more. Would definitely stay again.

The best part of this property is the very welcoming and kind staff. Every employee we met with in the hotel and restaurant was extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and had the best hotel shower I have every had!

Top tier. We stayed at 3 different hotels in our time on Mallorca and Nou Baleares was by far our favourite. Staff was notably amazing. Restaurant food was great and perhaps the best bang for your buck of any meal in Palma. Would 10/10 recommend this hotel.

Great modern hotel close to Palma centre

Great hotel in a convenient location for Palma old town ( approx 10-15 minute walk) . Extremely clean and recently renovated in retro scandi style with a nod to the 60s/70s. We loved it and the little bar/ restaurant downstairs for a breakfast and a drink at the end of a days sightseeing. It’s located in a area that’s a mix of residential and commercial and probably would be described as up and coming or a more everyday side of Palma. The Pere Garau market at the end of street was fab and probably a more real experience than others in Palma. We had a great stay and would highly recommend to others.

Had the most amazing staff that were super helpful. particularly the lady working on the 31st Feb day time - was so helpful and accommodating, let us check out late and hang around the pool, then called us a cab. She was great. The hotel was beautiful and clean and very nicely designed!!

3 Night stay Jan 2023

Lovely hotel in plaza 15 min walk from city centre. Reception staff very friendly and spoke good english making check-in easy. In fact all the staff were very friendly. My room was a standard double with king size bed (for one) which was warm and comfortable. Views were over the street but this is a city centre Hotel. The bar/restaurant is small and cosy, the service is excellent, menu limited but good and prices very reasonable. That is probably why it is used by the locals giving it a good atmosphere.I will use again but some people may not like the area as it is mainly far eastern and middle eastern occupation, as against being Spanish.

Highly recommend. Simple 10-12 min taxi from airport at €20 each way if under time pressure which I was. Bike hire from the hotel a bargain at €10 for the day. Large infrastructure works taking place in the square beside the hotel so surfaces very uneven but they should be finished soon.

From the checkin to the checkout, everything was perfect Great location, close to the city centre but also quick to go to the airport. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, and none of them disappointed. The room was clean, modern and everything worked well. The breakfast options are delicious and fair price (apart from the orange juice that didn’t taste good) To resume we would stay again and recommend this beautiful hotel.

Lovely hotel in Palma

Nice hotel for a couple of nights in Palma. Friendly welcome with a glass of cava. Room was lovely and bright, nicely decorated and comfortable. Rooftop pool was nice for a dip after a day exploring. Rooftop bar didn’t seem to be open the days we stayed. 10-15 min walk to old town which was convenient for us.

Hotel was a little out the way but I'd definitely stay again. Wonderful place! There's a lot of building work going on in the area so will be interesting to see what it's like this time next year

Lovely hotel with a great restaurant below.

Booked for a stay but needed to cancel booing because of family emergency. Refused to even consider a part refund when, judging by the lack of rooms avaialbe at most hotels in the area, they could have easily re-sold the room.

Excellent hotel

Excellent hotel with great receptionist (Natalie) on arrival. Welcoming and joyous, informative and considerate. Set a right tone for the hotel overall and other staff did not disappoint. Large well appointed bedroom with a large double bed. Shame the mini bar was empty: a small free bottle of water would be a good gesture. Location good for buses, metro and trains or just walking to the attractions.

A modern property within a 10 minute walk of Plaça d'Espanya and Palma Old Town, I really loved my stay at Hotel Nou Baleares. The staff were very friendly, exceptionally helpful and very informative. The room was very comfortable, although the thin walls did let some noise in from the neighbours. Decent value for money - I'd definitely stay here again!

Short but enjoyable stay. The room was functional rather than luxurious but I thought it represented excellent value for money.

Chic and well designed hotel

We loved the hotel’s style and decor, it's really cool and had all of the amenities we needed. The service as perfect, everyone was friendly and attentive. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel is around 15 minutes walk from most of the tourist sights so might not be good for people with limited mobility. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Good modern hotel and rooms are great value. Location is a little far out as I prefer to be closer to the Marina. However bus stops near hotel and bus number 4 goes direct to the beach at Illetes. Nice continental breakfast and the bar is handy to grab an early evening drink

Lovely new hotel. Could make a few minor changes

Really beautiful, modern & clean hotel- everything appears really new and the interiors are well-chosen and modern. The beds were very comfortable! My downside would be that the fire alarm, TV & bedroom door all leaked light in the room when the lights were off which was very distracting for sleep. The staff were really friendly, spoke multiple languages, and were really knowledgeable. The hotel is based about 10 minutes walk away from the main tourist area. This wasn't an issue for us but might be for others.

Vi hade ett pr fantastiska dygn i Palma efter en vecka hos vänner i Port de Sóller. Hotellet var perfekt beläget i ett lugnt område, bara ett stenkast från den historiska delen av Palma. Personalen på hotellet var mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående och restaurangen som låg i direkt anslutning till receptionen var trevlig med god service og en perfekt frukost.

Tolles Service Personal, zentrale Gegend und ein tolles Restaurant direkt unter dem Hotel. Die Zimmer die zur Hauptstraße schauen, sind etwas lauter wenn man die Fenster offen hat. Sonst ist es ganz ruhig. Alles zu Fuss leicht erreichbar: Strand und innen Stadt. V

Vi hade 4 nätter som var jättebra. Förutom sista natten då brandlarmet gick 2 ggr. (Tydligen så hade någon idiot rökt på rummet) Frukosten var fantastisk, personalen jättetrevliga och hjälpsamma.

We had a lovely sta during 14 days, the crew both in the reception and in the restaurant were fantastic. Easy to walk to the buss/train station.

Das Hotel liegt ideal in Altstadtnähe. Auch der Stadtstrand ist fußläufig in ca. 10 Min. zu erreichen. Personal vom Hotel und Restaurant freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Zimmer sauber. Uns hat Die geringe Anzahl der Zimmer im Hotel gefallen. Obwohl an einer Kreuzung gelegen, war es im Zimmer bei geschlossenen Fenstern ruhig und man konnte in den Betten gut schlafen. Frühstück nach Karte schmeckte uns gut, aber auch das Tagesmenü mit 3 Gängen und Getränk für 16,90 € war absolut top. Restaurant wird getrennt vom Hotel geführt und ist auch von Einheimischen gut frequentiert. Leihfahrräder für 10 €/Tag könnten besser in Schuss sein, waren aber für uns ok. Wir würden wieder buchen.

Så nöjd med personalen. Väldigt serviceminded! Rummet var fräscht och fint. Fick ett glas bubbel vid incheckning. Bokade taxi kl fem på morgonen och blev då erbjuden kaffe när jag väntade. Frukosten helt ok.

Also wir ankamen wurden wir von einer freundlichen Frau an der Rezeption mit einem Sekt begrüßt. Sie gab uns bereits viele Tipps zum Sightseeing und Essen in Palma. Das Zimmer war wie dargestellt, sauber und funktional. Besonders das Restaurant im Hotel ist perfekt, dort kann man Frühstücken, Mittag essen und Abend essen. Das Essen ist super lecker und preislich absolut fair. Was uns auch gut gefallen hat, war die Dachterrasse, dort kann man sich abends an der Bar auch frische Getränke oder Cocktails machen lassen und hat einen schönen Blick über das Viertel. Weiterhin war die Unterkunft wirklich perfekt um Palma zu erkunden. Es ist von dort alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

Godt centralt hotel. Kun 10 minutters gang så er du i den famle bydel. Dejligt rent hotel. Lækkert med lille tagterrasse og bar. Gode detaljer der gør livet i en storby lidt mere komfortabelt såsom gratis vand man kan hente og tage med ud.

Väldigt fint hotell med bra läge i centrala Palma. Trevlig personal och fint och rymligt rum.

Very nice hotel close to the city centre of Palma. Warm welcome at the check-in, good room with very nice rain shower in the bathroom. Only „negative“ aspect: We heard the people walking and talking in front of our hotel room door pretty loudly through the door and walls.
