Great experience

The location of Hôtel was good. But not the hotel itself. This is my first experience staying in such hotel in Paris and can’t compare to other hotels.

clean and great customer service

The Staff were excellent, they were kind, helpful and nice to talk too. The area of the hotel is convenient for transport and food. We would definitely stay again.

Great place, friendly and convenient.

Seriously the best place I have stayed in France. As a female my friends and I felt safe, extremely welcomed and is the best convenient place to stay. The receptionist/manager is so friendly, smiley and taught us some French. I would recommend and I would be staying there again 😊

The rooms are relatively big and look and feel nice to stay in. Maintenance is at an okay level but housekeeping is partial - over our stay, the rooms were re-organized every day but not cleaned The area is ok with good walking distance to transportation and some very good restaurants

For an overnight stay close to Gare DuNord and cafes and restaurants / bars, this is a great location. Very friendly welcome at reception.

Warning! Even though you’ve paid in full on Hotels.com, this hotel will charge you again when you arrive. There is nothing on their listing explaining that they have to charge you extra. They also do not give me a receipt when you pay this extra money this is probably just something they charge foreigners because they know they can. Also, a Hotels.com will do nothing about it.

Triple Room was Perfect

Brilliant and welcoming employees, we stayed there for 3 nights in a triple room (3x young adults) and could not have been more pleased with the air con and big clean rooms for the price we paid. Honestly a great find and only ~7 min walk to Gare du Nord and a great bakery for breakfast (Maison Bayat).

An ok option

The hotel beds were comfortable but the room was small and cleanliness could be better. The location was not the greatest and the breakfast was limited for the price. The staff at the front desk tried to be helpful.

Very nice people, all staff were great. Room very small with a bathroom that was extremely small and dated. Cleanliness poor, however, had great links to train station and metro.

Really nice place

I stayed there with my girl friends, the area was very safe, we have stayed out till very late hour at night, lots of eateries around, the metro station is 5 min walking. the room was a little small but was very clean and quiet. the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had no problems with language all staff spoke English.

Room was extremely small, which was expected but still a little disappointing considering the price. Room was clean and beds were comfortable, but the lights were finicky (main light in bathroom wouldn’t work), and was frustrated there was no outlet in the washroom. We stayed just one night and it did the trick, but it would have been uncomfortable for a longer stay.

Very friendly and comfy place with lots to do around.

Property failed to mention it was under heavy renovations: Was woken in mornings to sounds of construction and staircase was filled with ladders and paint buckets. Actual room was nice enough, comfy large beds in a modern room, although there was no lock on the bathroom door, and no hand soap for the sink, only shower body wash. Also the staff always made us feel a little anxious by asking us to leave our room keys with them while we went out during the day or night. Also never actually came across a bar in the hotel despite the massive sign outside saying “Hotel Bar”. The convenient location was a big plus but honestly next time I would rather spring the extra £70 for a chain hotel so we know we’re getting a solid experience.

Great room and service

Lovely person at the front desk who was working the night shift. We arrived around 10pm and we could check in fine. Good room, clean apart from the floors. I liked everything about my stay here though.

The hotel was close to the airport and i chose to stay 2 night there at this hotel.the stuff is friendly in the hotel there were doing some decorating and probably i picked the wrong time wrong month or wrong year coz tje smell of the painting i couldn't stand the service it wasn't good enough in there i slept one night i was supposed to sleep 2 nights in there went out u have to leave the key at the reception ok fine i thoght u have to leave it and clean the room and change the beds and the towels but no they didn't do nothing of this ! As my personal i would not go there again i have to leave the next day i asked them if i can get the refund back for the 2nd night they didn't! Coz i olny stayed one night!

The hotel is not in the best condition, except the bathroom was superlative in our room at least. The big drawback was the elevator not working, so it was a long climb with luggage. According to the desk agent, the lift has not been working for months, so this is basically concealed by management so they can charge full price for the rooms. My advice is insist on ground floor or first floor unless the hotel publishes the lift is working now. The area is pretty convenient to Gare du Nord and Gare and Nord du Est -- about a ten minute walk. And there are loads of Brasseries and Restaurants with very reasonable prices close by of various cuisines. Although locals and even the desk clerk will say it's more dangerous around here, this seems to be because the area has a large West African and North Arican immigrant population, and we never felt even the least compromised. Actually we went to a bar- restaurant for dinner around the corner with a smashing run by an Arab guy with mostly West African clientele and it was not even a bit seedy and quite a friendly, family orientated place, very laid back. I would say I recommend the area around Gare du Nord for more affordable accommodation and restaurants, but it's still very easy to get to the established tourist areas on Left Bank, Champs Elysee, and Montmartre.

The lobby was a mess when I arrived from an International flight and they said the room would'nt be ready until 2:30 (online it says 2:00). No elevator to bring your luggage up, no amenities whatsoever like water! The bathroom was decent however when I put my overnight kit on the shelf it fell on the floor. Would not recommend this hotel!

This property is trying to make improvements to be a 3-star hotel but has a very long road to get there. We were greeted with an incredibly outdated sign, overgrown entry courtyard and a construction site in the “lobby”. I was ready to cancel our reservation on the spot but was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was updated and decent sized for Paris. The housekeeping was mediocre and we had to ask for everything e.g. a new bar of soap, fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. The hotel is convenient to both Gare de Nord and Gare d’Est and there is a grocery store and indoor market right across the street with some good food selections.

Stay away from this place

Elevator was out of service. Poor room condition with masking tape holding the corner molding on. Way overpriced for what you got. No breakfast, no hotel bar, no vending machine. Construction going on during the day with power tools trying to fix this run down hotel. No view, your window opens to a dilapidated courtyard. Bad hotel in a bad part of Paris. Close to Gard du Nord but an uphill walk in a bad part of town. Don't go out at night

Elevator was not working.

Wasted our money. The property is in terrible conditions. The bathroom with mold almost falling on the bathroom sink, broken toilet. broken shower door. They give you a regular key and every time you leave the hotel you need to leave the key at the front desk. The room was not too small, but the hotel in general is in bad conditions. The hotel was not too cheap. The only good thing was that the hotel is close to the train station and one person staff was friendly.

Basic but lovely little hotel in a great loaction

Stayed here with family for a 4 day city break. Great value at around £55 pn for a double room in Paris! No need to book breakfast as there's a covered market 30 sec walk opp hotel with plenty of places to eat cheap. Hotel is 5 mins walk from 2 metro stations (on different lines) as well as the train station. Taxi from CDG airport was 53Euros, quicker and good value compared with public transport. Pros: really helpful and friendly receptionists. Rooms are clean with ensuite shower, a safe and a fridge. It's on a side street so very quiet at night. Cons: rooms are small and there is NO LIFT (it's beenbrokenfor months apparently! We were on 3rd and 4th floor- not easy if you have a lot of luggage or are disabled. Overall I would defo recommend and stay again. Some great places to eat nearby- must try Chartier restaurant next to Gare de l'est!

Easy walk from Gare du Nord. Very helpful reception staff. Big room. Superb bed. A few maintenance issues that didn’t interfere with my stay. Quiet room at the back

Clean, large room and good beds. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The location is excellent. Shower holder wasn’t right and sprayed the entire bathroom when shower was on.

Le personel est bien. Les abords et la salle de reception sont bien. Je suis venue tres en avance et la persone ma proposée de mettre mes valises dans une petite piece sans problème. La chambre est toute refaite a neuf mais pas du tout maintenue. Tapisserie décollée, porte d'entrée qui a beaucoup de mal à souvrir. La porte de douche ne peux etre maintenue fermée et souvre tout le temps. Il n'y avais pas de battant de toilette. Je l'ai touvé sous l'evier. L'alimentation du radiateur dans la salle de bain est abîmée (sécurité). Enfin plein de petits details qui sont frappant et qui demande de la maintenance.

Un hotel pequeño bonito, pero muy cómoda la habitación, muy limpia y agradable. Por el que yo regresaría al hotel es la amabilidad y excelente atención del chico que nos atendió al hacer el check in, así como el señor con quien hicimos el check out. Mi agradecimiento a ambos, muy cordiales.

Hotel Nord Est

Städningen var av sämre klass. Rummet var lite slitet och smutsigt. Sängen var bra men hade ett stort enkeltäcke. En liten promenad till bra restauranger och metrostation. Mannen som satt i receptionen fredagkväll 5/7-24 var suverän. Uppfattade aldrig hans namn men var väldigt serviceminded, trevlig och hjälpsam.

Un hôtel à recommander sans hésitation

Op loopafstand van station gare du nord. Veel terrasjes en winkeltjes in de buurt. Kamers zijn prima, wel aan de kleine kant.

Small little hotel but with everything you need. Staff helpful and warm. Confortable beds. Many restaurants and shops around, subway 5 min away. I would recommended for sure.

The staff were great, but the rooms were not so clean. They didnt clean the room one of the days we stayed there. Location was great, close to transport and good places to eat.

Viihtyisä pieni hotelli

Viihtyisä pieni hotelli hiljaisen kadun varrella, lähellä gare du nord -juna-asemaa. Sai hyvät unet, parhaita hotellityynyjä ja hiljaista. Ranskalainen aamupalabuffet oli yllättävän laadukas. Siivouksen taso ei ollut hyvä, pölyä/roskaa lattialla jne, päivittäin ei tehty kunnon siivousta myöskään. Kuitenkin siisti ja kiva vaikutelma.

Security issues

This is a strange hotel, with a huge contrast between the good points and the bad points. On the positive side, this hotel is very close to the two train stations Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great. The design of the room was stylish, especially the mirror in the bathroom. If my assessment was based only on theses points, the 3 stars would be well deserved. Unfortunately there are also the bad points. First, it looks like the rooms have been refurbished by a good designer but bad workers. It gives you a feeling of “work in progress”. The door of the bathroom does not close. The sink has no bond. The cleaning is “approximative”. There are apparent nails here and there. We found large used slippers under the bed, which implies the cleaning is not done regularly at this place. Then, we had a big security issue: the staff gave us a key to a room that had already occupants. That means we could have stolen all the stuff from these occupants without anyone noticing. When we went back to the reception, to ask for another room, they gave us another room… that also had occupants !! This type of security issue should just not happen. That is the reason why I cannot give a good assessment.

J'ai trouver cette hôtel sur la plateforme expedia. A mon grand étonnement une fois arriver dans ma chambre d'hôtel, je découvre avec stupefaction le verre de séparation entre la douche et la salle de bain complétement brisé! des brisures de verres allant jusqu'à la chambre à coucher.. Je décide de vite prévenir l'acceuil qui à était pro mais qui sembler tout de même dépasser de la situation, après vérification on m'informe que toutes les chambres sont prise et que la seul chambre restante n'a pas était laver. La dernière solution qui s'offre à nous et de demander à l'hôtel voisin une chambre de libre pour dormir avant de trouver une solution le lendemain, après discution avec le monsieur de l'hôtel je comprend que cette solution ne sera pas possible car eux non plus, n'avais plus de chambre de dispo. En conclusion je me suis retrouver à moi même préparer ma chambre d'hôtel, faire le lit, désinfecter les toilette, la salle de bain. Je tiens à préciser que l'équipe c'est excusé pour cela. Ils ont tenue à m'offrir le petit déjeuner mais aprés mêtre coucher a 6h du matin la première nuit, je n'avais pas la force de me lever et le second jour était mon jour de départ. J'ai voulue me faire rembourser au moins ma première nuit ou alors déduire les frais ménager mais on ma expliquer aue cela n'était impossible. Je retournerai peut être dans cette hôtel mais je n'utiliserai plus cette plateforme! Qui ne nous rembourse pas en cas de litige.. c'est HONTEUX..

Potrebbe essere delizioso per configurazione architettonica e posizione. Il personale molto gentile. Purtroppo la pulizia nel bagno e nella stanza lascia davvero a desiderare. Basterebbe così poco…
