Very good hotel!
Good location right next to a subway. Room is small but typical of most tokyo accomodations. We thought it was a great stay for us when we are out most of the day. Staff were nice and helpful. Room was relatively clean, some dust in corners but overall not a big deal. Good value. Added bonus was the free ice cream during night time.
Great hotel, quick travel via subway to Tokyo station and akihabara (many more). Fab staff, rooms a bit compact, however standard for Tokyo. Big plus for included amenities counter.
Comfortable space
Just stay overnight for transit
What a lovely hotel- I was staying whilst working in Tokyo. The rooms are small but have everything you need. There are only 16 rooms each floor and eight floors so it’s pretty quiet! The staff are lovely and extremely helpful!
Location is alright, if you love to explore everything on foot like me. Small eateries & 7-11s are scattered around. Only 15mins walk or 5 mins by cab to the Tokyo City Air Terminal where there’s express buses to/from NRT/HND for about a third of the fare than riding the trains. The room (I had the hard double bed which is good for my back) is compact but everything’s functional. Bath is private, adequate with oval tub. Bfast isn’t included but hotel has a nice restaurant at affordable price for Japanes/American bfast. There’re numerous train stations to connect you to anywhere, within quite a walking distance. Only thing is although it’s away from the busy central Tokyo, it’s still pricey as we all expected a larger room with bfast included for that price. They actually ask if you agreed to not have your room cleaned daily, no housekeeping if staying less than 4 nights. But unless you’re messy, the room will remain immaculately clean. Checkout is 10am, perhaps whole of Japan!
立地、価格帯も良く目的に適してました。
One night stay at this property was excellent. Rooms were small but extremely convenient to get to Tokyo station after a nights rest. Overall we were very happy with the location and the staff at the hotel. Thank you!!
The room was comfortable and just right for a family of 3. Clean and lots of freebies in the lobby. It has also microwave, washer, bending machines on the 2nd floor. It is very close to the train station and there are a lot of eating places nearby and also convenient stores like 7/11. We have enjoyed our stay and Tokyo in general.
Their service is great.
I only spent 2 nights. Property and room were clean and quiet, two things that are the most important to me. Check in and out were quick and easy. I liked that pajama was provided. Close to train station.
Their customer service is great!
Great location close to multiple stations and shopping areas. Decent size room and clean.
This is my fault for trying to go cheap on a 1-night stay in Tokyo. I've never been in such a cramped hotel room - literally couldn't close the door without pinching coats on the hanger. Could barely turn around in the washroom. Small little window that couldn't open. Elevator was a squalid little thing like out of a social housing complex where I'm from. Perhaps I got used to the usual Hiltons I stay at, but I couldn't wait to leave this place. The opposite of a relaxing stay. You get what you pay for.
The staff were wonderful. The hotel is fairly close to several subway stations and only like 20 mins to Tokyo Station. Not many close food options and the few that are there close early evening. Two 7/11 within 50 meters.
Staff was very helpful and welcoming! Great location to walk to nearby train stations/explore the area
everything was good
We enjoyed our stay here. We were traveling as a family of 4, and so being able to get a set of two rooms that were connected was great. The staff was very friendly and the kids loved that they had free popsicles in the lobby was a hit. The hotel is only a few blocks from a train entrance and had numerous great dining options nearby.
Overall, our stay was great. Nice staff and clean rooms. Definitely will stay again.
Safe and comfortable.
Close distance to train NINGYOCHO. Room is cozy Staff is ok Train to tokyo main station will require change from ningyocho. Taxi cost approx 10sgd. Not that ex. Theres 2x 7-11. 1x lawson 1x family mart 3mins from hotel. Very convenient.
clean and comfortable hotel
Room was clean and amenities were enough. staff members were polite.
Very small room, but perfect for me as a solo traveller. Staff extremely friendly and helpful and available 24/7. Thanks 😊
Everything was good
Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo is located close to Tokyo Metro Ningyocho. The Transportation is so convenient. There are so many restaurants and dinning hall around the hotel. Hotel's staffs are very kind!
Easy to locate and check in/out
Cozy hotel with nice location.
Good location, friendly staffs, comfy bed.
Not a large hotel, so the room and facilities were a bit small. However this is great for a short stay and to rest.
若干の狭さはありましたが、利便性とコスパ、綺麗さを加味すると十二分なホテルと感じました。長期滞在でしたが心地よく過ごすことができました!
Perfect location 3star hotel
4 nights in 4F. Great location, 3min walk to three Metro lines, coffee shop, ramen, revolving sushi, many eateries nearby. 15 walk to Tokyo Station. Typical room size of a 3star Tokyo hotel, helpful staff, clean, paid breakfast is comparatively less attractive. One to improve is the window not allowing to see tbrough, especially when needed to check if it rains or not.
デスク周りは椅子が低く仕事するには使いにくさはありましたが、アクセスの良さと綺麗さ、コスパを加味すると充分によかったです!
A nice stay at a nice hotel
The attention to detail here was very nice. I liked the subtle obi cord in the wall decorations. Also, there was a surprising variety of amenities. Non smoking room smelled fresh. I did not smell any smoke. Staff was polite and practiced good sanitation and health practices. I would definitely stay here again.
Very clean and comfortable place to stay, staff is very friendly
They provided laundry/drying free of charge but laundry powder does cost 110yen
The only thing I did not like about the room was that it was kind of small
Its quiet close with subway but the room small for double bed and not worth it for money
Very nice, pleasant stay....room a little small but very good
Great place to stay.
Stayed here many times before. Nice cheap business hotel close to Tokyo station.
Small & cozy
Room was very cozy - there’s enough room for 2 people to sleep & get ready to go out but definitely not enough room to lounge around in the room all day. Room was super clean & surprisingly the washer & dryer are free to use!
nice
1.7 km from tokyo station and in a vibrant area.very nice indeed
Great hotel central to Tokyo. Small rooms, typical of what you get in Tokyo but with everything you need. The hotel "Handy Phone" came in great use! Excellent service, would stay here again.
Within minutes walk from the subway station in an excellent vicinity. Lots of nice restaurants nearby
Unfortunately the room was smoking-friendly, so all the furniture was smelling like cigarettes. Besides that, everything was nice in this hotel!
Tiny rooms but fine. The worst thing is an embarrassing semi transparent toilet door. Who would come up with that stupid idea
Trip to Japan
Lovely room. Friendly staff.
Good Hotel
Good clean hotel close to city centre.
Booked Hotel based on the room could accommodate 1 x Adult and 2 x Children, the room was way too small and the hotel was "conveniently" booked out when I asked if I could pay for an upgraded / bigger room so I basically slept on the floor. The day before departure asked the staff if they could book a taxi for my family in the morning to Tokyo Station but the Staff said "Sorry, to difficult too book for morning". The next morning I literally walked out and was able to hail a Taxi with no issue. The only thing going for the Nihonbashi-Saibo is the location isn't bad.
Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo
Very small room, not comfy. Smell of urine which i never experienced before. Facilities are ok and convenient location, but i will not choose this hotel anymore
Good hotel near Ningyocho
It was a one night stay. I was budget conscious but wasn't looking for a capsule hotel. The hotel was well-situated closer to a subway station (Ningyocho), within 5 minutes walking distance. Convenience stores were nearby as well, but a little far off from the tourist areas - Ginza was about 20 minutes walk away, but accessible by metro. Asakusa was also close by via metro. Staff were polite and courteous similar to all Japanese properties. Room was small, again similar to Japanese properties, but it was good value. Wifi was decent, but not lightning fast. Overall, not a bad stay for one night.
Small but comfy
The room was small, but for the price & location, we were satisfied. We ddin't have a big luggage, but regular size luggage could easily be store under the bed which is a big plus for a small hotel room. They ofeer variety of complimentary amenities (bath salts, face lotion, mask for seasonal allergy, etc.) at the lobby. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. Please note that the check-out time is 10AM not 11AM as listed on our itinerary.
Hotel is fairly near to the train station. Many eating options and 24 hour convenient stores nearby. I love the wide range of toiletries. Room and bathroom are very clean. Drinks vending machine on every floor. So many plus points. The only shortcoming is probably the room size. Really small and the equally bed is a tad too hard.
Located in a great quiet part of Tokyo
We stayed here for only two nights but the staff was amazing and the location was great. It’s a quieter part of Tokyo but had everything you need nearby including a few amazing restaurants. Definitely would recommend this hotel!
Small but very clean room. Just wish the bed mattress was a bit thicker
Good Good Bad Great.
The service was great and they had everything i needed for a comfortable experience. The downfall was that my view was a brick wall and the bathroom lighting was sinked up with the room light system. To turn on the bathroom light, i would have to switch on the main room light with the card causing it to wake up my partner in bed. Besides that, the staff was extremely professional, helpful and welcoming.
Great location
The one downside is they don't receive luggage prior to arrival, but I did get it delivered while I was here. I hadn't used it before, and the lack of reception staff meant that I waited a couple of hours for them to turn up. In retrospect I would have delivered it to their office just 5 minutes away. Whoever I had to call the office the lady in the end of the phone was extremely helpful. The room was as advertised, including a basic kitchen, wet room, and washing machine. Certainly more space than I had in Tokyo, but then could always do with more. Good place, book with confidence.
Super small, dirty, old rooms
This hotel is not with the stars it's listed under. Rooms are small even for Japanese standards, beds are super hard, and cleanliness is to be improved on. I will not stay again.
Pleasant and good value for money
Great stay overall. The hotel is very close to a subway line and is overall very easy to get to. It's close enough to central stations as well as fun districts. Staff were incredibly nice and accomodating. Beds were not the most comfortable but a few extra pillows helped. Hotel bar had tasty food and great staff, even opening after hours so we could grab drinks on our first night in. Overall would recommend and would stay again .
Great Location
Although the room is small but it is very clean. Bed is comfortable too. 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station which is a plus and there are two lines in the station which is even more convenient. Further, there are lots of eateries surrounding the hotel. A pleasant and enjoyable stay !
Small room but has basically things you need For your stay. Good for business travelers. Tea, coffee, masks and etc. are available at the lobby free of charge. Close to a train station.
Nice but small
Room was very small but clean and comfortable (hard mattress).
We really enjoyed the Hotel Nihambashi. It was very clean and felt very safe. The staff spoke enough English to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Lots of amenities in the room which was small but adequate for two people. The neighborhood is safe, but somewhat bland....hard to find good restaurants, especially for breakfast. But the subway is only 1.5 easy blocks away, so very convenient. I would certainluy stay there again.
Awesome experience of Tokyo and the modern and cultural nuances
Decent property to stay out in the financial area
Property was good value, decent area for food, not much shopping as it is the financial area, close to the metro, overall a good stay.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel. Very clean. In business part of Tokyo. Lots of bars and restaurants.
Excellent staff, very helpful
Very nice staff and the room was clean and well kept. Plenty of power outlets and a great bathroom.
Small cosy hotel close enough to the city
The room was exceedingly small, but what else could you expect, knowing that it was the premise of the hotel? However, one thing perplexing was the direction of the tap; turning it clockwise turned the tap on and vice versa, contrary to the rest of the world. Additionally, there will be no space for you to keep your luggage open should you be using one. Wi-Fi can be slow at times. Hotel is situated near three subway stations (within 10 minutes' walk), one of which is a direct line to NRT airport. It is also situated close to popular tourist destinations but not as close as to be expensive.
Convenient and Clean
Room small but well equipped and clean. Very close to subway station. Basic facilities.
Convenient and budget hotel
Rooms has smell of smoke which is in the carpet and general surfaces, even with a good spray of air freshener which is provided in the ensuite bathroom, the smell of smoke is still there after 4 days of spraying. Not ideal for non smoker. Hotel however is very conveniently located just 2 minutes from Ningyocho underground station serve by 2 different lines, so going to Shinjuku, Shikuya, Ginza, Roppongi, Tsukiji fish Market and yo Narita airport is very convenient. Also lots of local restaurants in walking distance from the hotel, lots of which opens throughout the night if you want to get food late at night.
Good location, clean, comfortable
Although the room was small it was very comfortable. The bathroom was new and clean. I really liked how the hotel set out amenities (sponges, cotton balls, combs, shower cap, etc) for easy access and you can take as many as you need. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. They made the stay really nice.
super convenient
great location! super convenient to go to Haneda airport! easy to grab food, caffe near by!
Convenient
Great !
Great location
A very nice clean hotel I'm a very convenient location. I have to say however that I was disappointed by the reception staff's very limited knowledge of English
Recommand!
We were served by a lady who speaks a pretty good english with a decent understandable accent, that's a massive plus! Not only the staff was easy to communicate with but they also provided us with good advice and a map of tokyo, narita express timetable, etc. Which we did not get in any of the other hotels we stayed in! (Including a 4* monterey palace) There is a table that displays some toilets item , even a placenta face mask which in my opinion was a good choice as japan is famous for its weird cosmetic face masks! It s worth the experience! The room is tiny but thats to be expected in tokyo , worth noting that its comfortable and they manage to get a desk in there.. Surprisingly the neighbourhood is cute and the main street is all restaurants. The only downside would be no direct train line to tokyo station but its only 15 min by can aka 1,000¥ which is affordable.
Decent clean sm rooms, great amenities, convenient
Most Japanese hotel rooms are tiny by Australian standards, and this one was no exception. However, the staff were pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable, there was an excellent range of amenities, and the location was good (200m from Nyngocho train station in an area with many Japanese and international restaurants). The rooms were clean and well equipped. The free laundry was also useful.
Common hotel type in Tokyo, but nice & cozy.
Cons Windows didn't open. And if we tried there was dust flying out of it. Really small. If fits a bed. And s small shower room. No TV (no room) Pros Very good location to go to other areas by subway. Very good location in the heart of east tokyo. Very good hotel location with close metro, 24hr restaurants, convenience stores, things to watch, great place overall. Been to tokyo several times but this was the best location hands down so far. Small bathroom but has everything you need. Water is always warm , and is set to warm. People at the counter speaks some English. Bed was cosy and nice. It's a small place but could add to that Tokyo charm of all things small. Would be interesting to first time visitors I assume.
Absolutely amazing!
You can see why this hotel has the rating it has. From the moment I stepped into the hotel until I made my complete exit, the hotel staff were nothing short of amazing and hospitable. They were very accommodating to me when I spoke in English and Japanese, the latter being very rusty, when I asked them questions. The room was always kept in excellent condition and was very spacious and comfortable. In fact, the pictures don't do the room justice! The room I was staying in easily fit 4 regular-sized luggage with plenty of space to spare for two people. It's conveniently located near the Ningyocho subway, which is a less than 5 minute walk away. The city itself is lovely, with places to eat and visit. Take the subway and you're a couple of minutes away from Ueno and Akihabara, and around 30 minutes away from Shinjuku. So the location is pretty great if you want to do a lot of exploring during the day. All in all, I had a positive experience, and I hope to stay here again in the future.
Nice hotel but not close to Tokyo station
We booked this hotel because it came up as one of the closest to Tokyo station on Expedia (we wanted to be close as we were catching the Shinkansen from there with lots of luggage). However, the distance isn't really walkable with heavy luggage and takes two connecting subway lines to get from the hotel to Tokyo station (ok if travelling light but not great if you have to travel with luggage at peak hour). That said, the hotel is very close to Ningyocho station, which makes it easy to get around the city if you are doing day trips and exploring the city. The hotel staff are fantastic and always helpful. They were happy to hold luggage for us for a few days (free of charge) while we went to Osaka. The hotel itself is clean and pleasant and is located in an area with great places to eat and interesting bars. Beyond those few blocks it seems to be more of a financial district though. So I would say a good place to come back to at night but you definitely want to be exploring elsewhere during the day. The standard rooms are very small and we had trouble fitting one medium suitcase, one snowboard bag and two small backpacks. When we laid our luggage on the floor it took up the entire floor space. If you are travelling alone it would probably be ok. Also, in a room this small, having a fairly see through glass door between the room and the toilet is not great for privacy! Overall though, a positive experience.
Good choice for higher end of budget hotels
The only complaint was room size, and this is Japan. Yeah make an incredible efficient use of space, have everything you need. I especially liked the free toiletries, coffees, etc laid out for the taking. They also rent bikes and have several restaurants nearby.
Easy hotel
Enjoyed our stay, close to transport and very clean. The room we had was very small but was comfortable and clean.
Good stay! nice quiet district !
It is one of the good choices if you wish to to stay at hotel which doesn't required you to change trains from Haneda Airport. the bed is very comfort. the idea of providing " free to take " of personal products at lobby is just too excellent! I enjoyed the stay!
Well priced business hotel
I only stayed one night at the hotel so it was functional for what I needed, however it was extremely small. We had a twin room and there was nowhere to put two small suitcases, so we had to put a coffee table on top of a chair to make space. There is also no storage space. Other than that the hotel provided several extras such as teabags and toiletries and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is in the financial district so there isn't much going on in the immediate area, but it's only a 20 minute walk from the Tokyo station and nearby shopping. The downside was this hotel is not near a JR train station and involves a few changes from JR, so it was easier just to get to a metro or subway nearby and pay the additional train ticket, or walk from Tokyo station.
Clean & compact, decent location, reasonable price
We stayed in a 2 bed room, with a window overlooking the street. It was definitely tight for 2 larger Canadians and our suitcases, Although I think this room size is pretty much standard for mid-range Tokyo hotels like this. Aside from the tight quarters, everything is efficiently organized and arranged to the max. As a foreigner, one of the most important things for me was the free and fast wi-fi in the room that worked the entire duration of the 4 day stay, An underrated but essential part of every hotel stay on foreign soil for me. The Mattresses were pretty stiff by our standards, but being wiped out from jet lag and then being out doing stuff everyday we still managed to sleep just fine each night. The Air Conditioning was an adventure as the remote is entirely in Japanese, we usually just pressed random buttons until cold air blasted the room. The small washroom is textbook Japanese efficiency, Excellent shower pressure (another underrated factor of every hotel stay!) even a patch of mirror was fog free. And of course the Japanese toilet with all the bells and whistles if you dare to try them. The room also had a mini-fridge, coffee maker, massage pillow and Television which we didn't make much use of. The staff was exceptionally friendly and all desk staff we encountered spoke at least basic English. In the lobby they provided complimentary baskets of various toiletries you might need, and some things you don't need or at least have no idea what they are! Also prov
Excellent people
Verygood
Room too small
Room very narrow. No space to put bags. Limited food choice. Price too high for quality.
Nice hotel
The hotel is in a convenient location near two subway lines. The staff is very friendly and helpful with good information and tips. They also kept our luggage twice. There is a free of charge washing machine, dryer and microwave. The rooms are very small, but this is typical to Japan.
Little too small for that price if compare with another hotel. But good for transportation
Well Located and Clean
We stayed at the Nihonbashi Saibo for six nights. The hotel is only 200 metres west of the Ningyocho metro stop, meaning travellers with luggage have only a short walk. The restaurant attached to the hotel does not offer any Western food options, but if you only fancy a coffee and bun for breakfast, the Cafe San Marco halfway to the the Ningyocho stop offers a reasonable selection. For evening dining the hotel is located near many Japanese and a few international restaurants. An 8 minute walk to the West is the large Mitsukoshi Department store, and it too has a food court. The hotel's rooms are small and there isn't much space to store luggage, but the queen size bed was comfortable, even if it was pushed up against the wall on one side. The maids do a great job cleaning and tidying and when we returned from our adventures each day the room was spotless. The front desk staff members, despite varying degrees of second language ability, were very helpful.
Decent hotel
Hotel Nihonbashi Saibo was a decent hotel. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The location is superb - easy to get around Tokyo and there is direct train from the train station to Tokyo Haneda airport. I had booked a single, non-smoking room. However, the hotel gave me a smoking room, which smelled terrible. I asked for a change of room, but was advised it was impossible. That was the only negative comment I had about the hotel. Otherwise, great location.
Cozy and sweet
Lovely little rooms enough for a couple or individuals, the bathroom was spacious and clean with good quality facilities, everything worked really well. The bed was comfortable and relaxing, there was a small fridge and TV but we didn't know how to use it, air conditioning was good too. The hallway is cramped and there isn't much moving around space but we still managed to fit out 2 large suit cases under the bed, overall this was a fun experience and we would stay here again :)
Exactly what I expected - and it was great!
The staff were all very nice and their English was perfectly fine for the check in and out process We didn't need to ask them about any other services so I'm not sure how that would have gone. The room was exactly what we expected based on the photos and other reviews and I found the size perfectly manageable for two people with one suitcase each. Room was cleaned every day and they provided all the possible ammenedites you could need either in the room or at the "help yourself" desk in the lobby. Is book here again if we ever return to Tokyo
Really small roomed hotel
Having been two 5 other hotels in Japan before this one we found it very small. There was barely any room for two luggage bags on the floor and allow us to walk to the bathroom. I had booked for 3 nights for two people. The first night after a long walk to check-in (we turned the wrong way out of the station) found we had only given towels and a pillow enough for one person. Luckily the next day I didn't have to ask and this was fixed. The hotel is very close to the bus air terminal which was handy for our early morning flight. The staff were available at 4am for check-out which was greatly appreciated.
Hard time sleeping
The staff was friendly when we checked in but that was about the extent of the positives of this hotel. This room was probably the smallest of the hotels I stayed in on my trip including the other hotels I stayed in Tokyo. The mattresses were hard, I had a hard time sleeping at this hotel. My friend and I were tripping over each other at times walking around the room.
Good but small rooms
For a reasonable price you get a good hotel 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Station, 4 minutes from the subway, a good area, and in a street with a number of affordable eateries of various types. Be prepared for a small room. If you are a couple with large bags, you will require a fair bit of logistical manoeuvring to get into you bags and store them. Beds are firm but comfortable. As with many Japanese hotels, the pillows are small. The rooms are probably not ones for relaxing in during the day. The room we had only had a smallish frosted glass window. But if you intend to be out and your main priorities are price and location, this would be a good option.
Very good
excellent location and access, also quiet
Close to the metro and convenience store
It's the first hotel I stayed in for my very first Japan trip! It is clean and close to the amenities I need! Located in a not-so-noisy-and-busy place, it's quite a nice place to stay in Tokyo! There's free masks and bath salts for the customers at the lift lobby! Definitely will consider to go back when I visit Tokyo again!
A quick trip into Mid-Tokyo
All good. One of the smallest rooms I stayed with everything packed in. Surprised that breakfast was not included.
Nice room but the size if a bed
Tiny rooms although very clean. Also steps down before even approaching reception.
This room was so small compared to other rooms so we were not able to use it. Overall staff were gracious and polite. The toiletries was great and welcome ice cream greatly appreciated. Going thru trains you need to transfer lines though. The stairs to navigate at the Train station was steep. It would be difficult with large luggages like us.
