Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. My room was lovely, with a view of the Ziller Valley. The way the hotel is designed is really clever, linking up the two pools, indoor and outdoor rooftop, which are both wonderful, as are the saunas. Food is mainly buffet and high quality. The fresh fruit for breakfast (a facet of any good hotel in my view) was ideal. Great selection of fresh breads. I was surprised...my tarrif included breakfast, late lunch and dinner. Good value. The English equivalent would possibly be a 5 star hotel in many aspects. The staff seem to take a great pride in their work, as they should do. I used some of my rusty German, but English was well spoken by the staff. The area is lovely. I was unable to walk far due to a bad leg, but got up the Penkenbahn Gondola for a drink at the top to watch the paragliders at 2000m. It was stunning and a pleasant 17 degrees at height. I know it will be very busy come ski season, but I'm sure such a well-organised place will cope well. If my leg recovers, I would like to try the Zillertal ski area. Thanks go to all involved in this marvellous business.

Good facilities and food

A family ski trip with a non skier. Amenities at hotel were fantastic the location to Penken bahn was great with ski bus opposite. Food was fabulous and all staff were super friendly and helpful.

Wonderful pools, sauna and food at the restaurant. Service is great. Located close to the ski gondola. Will definitely come again.

Traditional and clean. Restaurant staff were excellent and extremely friendly.

The location was convenient for both the train station and the ski bus so you barely had to carry your skis at all. The hotel was spotless and the food was so good. Spa area is great with multiple saunas and a pool and relaxation area, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Nice hotel comfort for sport families holiday With good restaurant and bar

A wonderful, traditional, family-owned hotel that despite being large, offers very friendly and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was excellent, and you couldn't ask for more!

Short family ski trip

Lovely friendly staff especially our waiters ferenc & darius food was very tasty and plenty of it only gripe need better pillows and thought the lounge area on 2nd floor could be utilised better by having bar in it

Don’t look elsewhere - book this one!

Well, it’s a family run hotel and the beauty of it is being close to all the ski activities in addition providing absolutely amazing meals and facilities.

The food and spa area were fantastic. Also had a chill out lounge to sit in, which made up for the smaller but adequate room sizes.

Best breakfast buffet

Spa are and breakfast buffet were the highlights, comfy bed great atmosphere and staff helped as well

Junior suites are spacious and comfortable. Staff are courteous. Half board excellent (typically Austrian - lovely salad buffet, plenty of meat). Worst thing : no in-room coffee facilities

Hotel is very well kept, clean and tidy, but a little dated in places.

Great hotel except for the smoking

I would make the bar and restaurant non smoking. Ruins the atmosphere for guests. Most people seems to go out to smoke. Swap out the bartender for someone a little less more personable. Wouldn’t serve us hot drinks at the bar.

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Had a totally amazing stay. Friendliness of staff and food (half board) far exceeded our expeditions. Hotel was super clean and in a great spot on the edge of the main strip, across the road from the ski bus stop and a 3 minute walk to the train station. Our only complaint was the temperature of the pool which was far too cold for a spa pool. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Fantastic hotel!!

We loved our stay at Hotel Neue Post! Group of 3 couples in early/mid-thirties. Hotel in brilliant location and full of character. Stayed in room 406 which was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Also cleaned extremely well each day. Hotel Neue Post is a family run business and it shows - fantastically friendly staff and helpful. Restaurant is superb with everything you could wish for at breakfast and wonderful dinners. Ferenc served us for most of the week and possibly the best service we've had anywhere - thank you! Strongly advise booking a wine tasting in Hotel Neue Post's stunning cellar. We had no idea how much wine is produced in Austria nor how good it is! Thomas chose 3 whites & 3 reds for us and without hesitation we would say all we're very good wines. To summarise this place is not to be missed!

The hotel was very well appointed, with a delicious 5 course meal every evening served by an attentive waiter, and a plentiful buffet breakfast. The sauna facilities were excellent. I was surprised, however, that my single room was the same price as my friend's, yet his had an en suite bath (mine was a shower), a balcony (unlike mine), and his room was larger.

Lovely Hotel

We loved this hotel from the moment we stepped inside. The staff was warm and welcoming and the lobby was charming. Rooms were comfortable and we had a nice balcony with an awesome view of the snow covered alps. The location is perfectly situated in town where you can walk to shops and restaurants and to the ski lift. The food was incredible! A 5-course meal perfectly prepared each evening. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to go back someday!

Solid town centre 4 star hotel with good spa area.

Solid 4 star hotel with good food close to the town centre. Rooms in the new building across the road are looking a little dated. Pool & spa area has all expected amenities. Bells mentioned in other reviews were not intrusive.

Great for watching the cows come home!

Hotel was very clean, room was large with a separate sitting area. The food was great too! Right on the edge of town with a beautiful view.

Nice staff, good place

Our stay worked out very well. We didn't even know that we had half-board. And the food was very good. Sometimes it was a bit noise because the band was playing. Nice fitness room also.

HOTEL NEUE POST BRILL PLACE TO STAY

I FOUND THE HOTEL NEUE POST TO BE ONE OF BEST HOTELS THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED IN, I HAVE STAYED IN QUITE A LOT OF HOTEL'S IN AUSTRIA THIS ONE WAS ONE OF THE BEST. I WAS WELL TREATED BY ALL THE STAFF, WITCH MADE MY STAY THERE A FANTASTIC EXSPERANCE .

Mooie kamer, fantastisch zwembad met wirlpool op het dak, goede welness beneden, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt en diner met veel keuze en alles heel lekker. Gezellig hotel met mooie bars in hout.

Top Hotel sehr sauber , sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr hilfsbereit. Würde immer wieder gerne hin fahren

Alles sehr gut, ich werde mich nicht mit den vielen Vorzügen dieses schönen Hotels aufhalten. Nur zwei Hinweise: Check-out um 10:00 Uhr ist sehr sehr früh, zu früh. Ein Hotel dieses Niveaus sollte in der Lage sein, mindestens 12:00 Uhr anzubieten. Und eine Flasche Wasser für 6,20 € zu verlangen, wenn die tatsächlichen Kosten für Sie etwa 75 Cent betragen, ist etwas übertrieben.

Et super lækkert hotel, med venligt og imødekommende personale. God beliggenhed. Et forslag kunne være en lille kaffemaskine på værelset, men ellers intet at udsætte 👍💪

The Hotel was Under renovation and Quite a lot of noise, but still very good service. The cleaning lady was fantastic in Room 92

super Hotel

Schönes Hotel mit Gratisparkplatz und tollem Indoorpool, Sauna, Wellness, Ruheraum etc. Frühstücks- u. Abendbuffet (bzw. Abends Menüwahl) hervorragend. Wir hatten eine Suite, war groß uns tirolerisch eingerichtet. Bad, WC getrennt. Lift vorhanden. Personal sehr nett.

Wir hatten das Zimmer Berglust, was sehr zu empfehlen ist. Ein großes, renoviertes Zimmer. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Angestellten sehr freundlich

Best hotel in town?

Great location, close to ski lift and ski bus. Excellent service of friendly staff. Nice restaurant with good food, both traditional austrian and international. Lovely breakfast buffet. The spa is among the best.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr groß und man hat überall viel Platz.

„ Kleine“ Doppelzimmer schlecht, alt u. verwohnt.

Kleine Doppelzimmer sehr alt und verwohnt. Bad alt und sehr klein. Heizung ohne Thermostat und Zimmer kalt. Bett durchgelegen. Essen und Frühstück ist sehr, sehr gut und Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön.

Maten ej bra

Rummet var OK, vi bodde i nyare del över gatan. Spa var OK. Frukostmatsalen stank matos, var tvungen byta kläder efter varje frukost, vidrigt!! Vi hade halvpension, mkt dålig förrätt och huvudrätt, det var ett flertal bussresor på hotellet och man brydde sig ej om kvaliteten på maten, riktigt dåligt Kan ej rekommendera detta hotell!!

Feines Hotel mit Charme

Sehr schönes und freundliches Hotel mit einer sehr guten Küche und sehr sauberen und schönen Zimmer. Optimale Ausgangslage um die Umgebung zu erkunden.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend ontbijt en een zeer goed en verzorgde warme maaltijd

Trevligt och välbeläget hotell på huvudgatan. Bra frukost- och lite mindre bra middagsbuffé. Ouppmärksam service vid ett tillfälle vid middagen. Servitören luktade dessutom ordentligt av armsvett. Pjäxtorken i skidrummet verkar inte fungera, är gammaldags och har passerat bäst-före-datum. Ingen värme noterad i pjäxorna vare sig på kvällen eller morgonen. Duschhandukar alltför små och söndertvättade utan ett uns av mjukhet. Som att torka sig med ett sandpapper. I övrigt inget att klaga på. Trevlig personal i receptionen.

Sehr zentrale Lage, alles vorhanden was man sich in einem Skiurlaub wünscht. Sehr gutes Essen, Wellnessbereich und Fitnessraum. Parkplatz am Hotel und Skibus vor der Tür. Für mich waren die Gäste leider etwas zu international.

Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Speisenangebot war üppig und lecker. 2 kleine Kritikpunkte: - Die Apres-Ski Tenne im Haus, Betrieb bis 00:00 Uhr - Die Lunch-Pakete, krümeliges Brot und nicht einmal Butter, nur 2 Scheiben Belag fertig

Mycket bra mat och trevlig personal.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Zentrum von Mayrhofen. Die Küche ist erstklassig. Der Wellnessbereich und das Schwimmbad gehören zu dem Besten, was ich bisher in Hotels erlebt habe. Negativ: das Bad unseres Zimmers war uralt. Die Badewanne war unter die Dachschräge gebaut, so dass man nicht duschen konnte ohne sich den Kopf anzustoßen. Es war nicht einmal einen Duschvorhang vorhanden. Das WLAN war oft überfordert - ein Umstand, der in Hotels leider fast üblich ist.

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut. Das Hotel selber war gut. Das Essen war sehr gut. Beim Salatbüffet hätte ich mir eine wechselnde und größere Auswahl gewünscht.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale Lage zu Skilift, Apres Ski. Wir haben uns auch nur für die eine Nacht sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche war hervorragend und der Service sehr freundlich.

Einfach gut

Super Hotel mit allem was man für einen gelungen Skiurlaub braucht. Der Wellnessbereich ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen bietet aber alles und es wird auch Tee, Wasser, Obst und Nüsse angeboten. Das Essen und das Frühstücksbüffet ist richtig gut. Auch die Qualität der Zutaten klasse.

A truly fantastic hotel, great service, very clean and right in the centre of town. We've stayed there for 3 nights and loved our experience, we will be back for sure next winter.
