Amazing Food & Superb Location

One must never miss its restaurant. The waitress Latisha is extremely efficient and friendly and the Chef Benedict could well be a Michelin star quality.

Loved the location in amongst the cool architecture on the small ancient streets. It was surrounded by great places to pop in and enjoy the local culture. The apartment was functional and comfortable.nestled in a great location.

The Hotel Neri was a stunning place to stay. The rooms and reception area were beautiful, concierge very helpful and knowledgeable (excellent recommendations and actually walked us to the restaurant). Thomas greeted us and was very warm and responsive. Safe and quiet but right in the heart of the gothic district. Overall, highly recommend.

Family stay in the apartment

Great place to explore the old city. Pool amazing to chill from the August heat. Added bonus was apartment where we could do the washing for kids and prep some snacks. Very elegant and historic place

The Neri is an old palace that was renovated and is in the Gotica (Old Town) of Barcelona. It is a beautiful space. The location is great, surrounded by places to see and shopping. The hotel has a wonderful staff, and the restaurant is top-notch. I have been travelling to Barcelona for years and always stayed here.

Amazing hotel! Had a short stay but the location and design of the hotel was incredible. In a nice area for mixed hustle bustle and quiet off the path. Lots of shopping and dining in the area to walk to.

Hotel Neri is special. Located in the Gothic district of Barcelona, the hotel exudes history. It is beautiful appointed and the service is the best I have experienced. From the moment we stepped in the door and were greeted by Tomas, the warm and attentive staff made our stay even more remarkable

Great service but tiny rooms

Started off very poorly with a tiny room assigned to us despite paying $500+. However, Ivan was very accommodating and moved us to a larger room with a bathtub for our last two nights.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Worth every penny. Since the second we got there, we felt welcome. Dario was so welcoming and so sweet. The rooms, the aesthetic was on point. Breakfast was so good. And the location maybe a bit tricky to get to by taxi but it is the best location. You walk and get lost in the gothic quarter, such a gem!

Lovely room and perfect location. Quite surly staff which was a little surprising for a 5* hotel. There was also some inconvenient drilling outside the room after 10pm one night and again at 6am the next morning - whilst we appreciate that this was outside the hotels control it would have been appreciated if they had provided some notice or apologised for this.

Small with upbeat attitudes.

Every detail of this hotel and attentive service by the staff is just phenomenal. The rooftop pool was such a lifesaver for the European heat wave as well. The hotel is located at one of my favorite spots, Sant Felip Neri Plaza, which is a serene and sacred spot in the middle of bustling Barcelona. The Restaurant A offers one of the best food in Barcelona. Enjoying a glass of wine or cocktail from the restaurant, looking at Sant Felip Neri is one of my favorite things to do in BCN. I can't praise how amazing this hotel is!

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the Gothic quarter. Room was excellent, clean with a view on Saint Philip square. Boutique hotel worth the cost. My highest recommendation.

Everyone was great, and Tom at the front door was the best taking care of us.

The property is in the gothic quarter of Barcelona, so a very cool area to be located and super convenient for a lot of sites. It is nearly impossible to drive right up to the hotel which is not necessarily a bad thing, but was a little nerve-wracking to have to walk down an alleyway at 1am when I got in and 4am when I left the hotel for my flights. The rooms were very nice, although there were essentially zero toiletry amenities in the room, like not even a small shampoo. There were some snacks and wine, although oddly not a pricing menu, so it was not clear if they were "gifts" or for purchase. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was delicious! Overall a lovely, interesting place to stay, with just a couple of small odd things amenities-wise.

We are forever grateful for the Hotel Neri staff for treating us so excellently. The property was beautiful and location can't be beat! I couldn't imagine a better way to explore Barcelona.

Thomas was wonderful. He helped us with anything we needed including leading me to a wonderful Museum nearby.

What a wonderful hotel and experience. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. They made phone calls to make sure our tour would arrive on time. They arranged our transportation to ship. I would stay there again on a future visit.

Amazing hotel

Awesome hotel in Gothic district! Staff was absolutely amazing....so friendly and helpful....could not have been better! They arranged transportation, made dinner reservations for us in a local tapas restaurant...so good!!!!...and their bell and restaurant staff were top class. Breakfast was included and was surpassed our expectations. Recommend this hotel for sure and if ever in Barcelona again we would stay here!

Excellent stay. From the 1st class car service from airport, the welcome glass of Cava on arrival, beautifully appointed room with all the details and luxury you expect at a 5 star hotel. Service was impeccable, hotel very eco friendly. In a perfect location to explore Gothic Quarter and beyond. The square behind hotel is breathtaking.

Not only was the property just stunning and its location in the center of historic Gothic Quarters but the room was perfect and the staff made sure we were well taken care of the entire time of our stay.

Only 22 beautiful rooms. The lobby was calm and cool and the staff went above and beyond. All spoke English. The location in the Gothic Quarter was ideal. The roof terrace and plunge pool was a welcome rtreat after sightseeing all day. Beds were wonderfully comfortable, rooms spotless. Lovely large bathrooms with double sink. Mini bar, coffee machine and turn down service. Could not fault the hotel at all.

As usual with a Relais & Chateaux property, the decor was spectacular. The room was well appointed & bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the rooftop oasis with dip pool. Unfortunately there was no response to several attempts to get drink service up there. The service & food quality at breakfast was top notch.

The staff is the best I have a ever encountered anywhere in the in the world. They see to your every need with a smile on their faces. Look forward to coming back some day.

Hotel Neri is perfectly located in the Gothic Quarter. The proximity to all the shops and restaurants is perfect and just a short walk to El Born. The staff is incredibly helpful and warm. The room is beautiful with high ceilings and soft linens. The bathroom sink I dream of owning one day. Don’t stay anywhere else!

Perfect Stay!

What an incredible hotel! The service is impeccable - you couldn't ask for better - attentive and friendly. The rooms are modernly appointed and the bar has a great wine list with inventive cocktails. All in a terrific location close to all the sites.

Best Customer Service

The customer service was the best along with clean and spacious rooms. It was my wife’s birthday and they surprised us with champagne and chocolate cake with fruit. Not expected. Everyone we interacted with was outstanding. I would go back in a heart beat.

The location was excellent. Within walking distance to all the sights. The restaurant was also a delight. We stayed in the Apartments, which at times was a bit nosey at night. But by 1am the streets became quiet. The concierge was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I would stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Gothic area. This is THE place to stay! Staff was extremely helpful in coordinating and booking tickets for all of the sites we requested. They also made great recommendations for dining. Will definitely stay at Hotel Neri again!

A Tucked-Away Treasure

Hotel Neri is tucked away in the Gothic quarter of the city and is perfect for walking around. When you take a cab, they park a block or so away since the streets are so narrow. But when the hotel staff calls a cab for you, it comes right to the door so that is helpful when you are leaving with luggage. The food was delicious and eating out in the courtyard was so lovely! The indoor restaurant is also quite wonderful, too. I am craving the whole wheat croissant we had for breakfast! The stone bathroom was intriguing. There weren't a lot of bathroom products available aside from shampoo, conditioner, and lotion...but I assume being a five star they would provide them upon request. It's a small hotel with no grand lobby, but comfortable with helpful staff and a cool but comfortable vibe.

This property is not honest with their charges. We were told at the time of check in and by restaurant staff that breakfast would be included with the room but by the time I checked out I was billed 232.40 Euros for breakfast during our stay. I did not sign off for charges to be made to the room, but the hotel snuck them in without being transparent and upfront, even when asked about it. I did not have time to dispute the charges because I needed to go to the airport and when I asked Orbitz to help me as a customer, no action was taken to rectify the situation. This was poorly handled by the hotel and by Orbitz. If I had known I’d get charged 232.40 Euros for breakfast, I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD BREAKFAST THERE. This was a terrible experience.

Hands down my favorite hotel in Spain!! It’s in the mist historic part of town. It’s a hide away gem!!

Great way to experience Barcellona.

Quality of staff and quality of the property was excellent.

This property had a superb location in the historic district. Taxis do not go there. So, if you are willing to make the trek this is a lovely unique venue. The bell man, Jauquin, went out of his way to provide excellent customer service. I had certain expectations without having to call down to the front desk for help. Amongst the failures were lack of delivery of luggage within an hour of check in to the room, daily maid service before I returned from a long day of touring, and a working elevator. If the management of the hotel were to follow through on these basics, this could be an exceptional hotel. Now, it is an overpriced "want to be".

We loved everything about this hotel. It is in an amazing location in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, and there are tons of nice shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is also well-located, within walking distance to most tourist destinations, so we walked everywhere. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It is cozy, well-decorated, and the staff is warm and friendly. They gave excellent recommendations for restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. We loved this hotel so much that we ended up canceling our AirBnB and came back to Hotel Neri for the remainder of our trip. The next time we return to Barcelona, we will definitely stay there. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

The hotel was beautiful - fantastic location.

The Concierge was exceptionally helpful in finding a well qualified guide to show us the Gaudi architecture of Barcelona in a private tour. Every staff member was friendly and caring, making us welcome.

Amazing hotel!

This hotel was amazing! Great service, you can't drive to it, your driver takes you to the closest square and calls the hotel, they send someone out by foot to get you and your bags. You walk down a couple tiny cobblestone streets to the hotel. It's small, quiet and very nicely appointed, the bathroom is beautiful and the bed was comfortable. Robes and slippers were provided. We had a small balcony. There was plenty of the old castle left untouched. Breakfast was great ( worth the extra) if I ever make it back to Barcelona, this is the only place I'll stay.

Awesome piece of Barcelona

Spent a few days on our honeymoon here. We were upgraded to the suite and it was lovely! The staff are super friendly and the hotel is very clean and modern. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is about a 20-30 min. walk to the beach. We were not a fan, however, of the food sold in the restaurant.

Chic hotel in great location

Love the look and feel of the hotel. It’s very contemporary within the Gothic quarter which makes it stand out. The only negatives are the room size which was very small and the odor in the room upon arrival which was handled immediately. Overall, I looked forward to returning to the chic oasis everyday.

Great hotel located in an interesting part of town - quiet street but near lots of interesting and fun things to do. Totally charming inside. Only a few rooms, so personal attention is nearly perfect. Staff is friendly, competent and can't do enough to please the guests. Modern, simple design elements in an 11th century building. Charming, quaint, cozy, elegant.

Loved it except for mildew/shower water problem

Beautiful room, excellent staff, terrific location. But we can't give it 5 stars because every time we walked into the room there was a mildew smell. We would become used to it within a few minutes but the next time we came back to the room, there it was again. The shower/tub (the same design is shown for every room on the website) has a design flaw. No matter where you stood or how you positioned the shower head, water accumulated on the stone base between the tub and glass partition and then ran down onto the floor. The stone and tub rim were, alas, not tilted to direct water back into the tub.The stone was permanently discolored where the water flowed to the floor. We also noticed a large water stain on the stone under the sink. The water problems may have led to the odor. If you aren't sensitive to odors and if you don't mind making a towel dam for the shower, the Neri is perfect.

Luxury in the center of the Barri Gothic

Hotel Neri is very luxurious and special, plus, we had the only room with a balcony overlooking the historic plaza. Modern architecture juxtaposed in the centuries old building; interesting art, very comfortable and clean. Nice and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.

Enjoyable stay

Overall we liked the hotel very much. Location is terrific and staff very very nice and helpful. Only negative is that it was somewhat noisy on the outside with people talking in the vicinity on Friday and Saturday nights. Also would recommend you give the red/pink artsy cushiony rug on the first floor a thorough cleaning as I saw bugs crawling around in it. However, would recommend the hotel to anyone. We had an excellent stay there.

Great location for touring the city.

The location is right in the center of the city in the Gothic area next to the Cathedral. Perfect to venture out to all the sites and ideal in the evening to walk to the local Tapas places. Yet, the hotel is still very quiet at night. There was no city noise.

Old World Charm In Historic Area of Barcelona

On arrival we were made most welcome by very pleasant staff. Our encounters with all staff were most pleasant. They were very professional and most helpful in arranging medical assistance when needed. This renovated facility captures not only the past but does it with style.

One of my favorite hotels

This is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room was spacious and modern and very inviting. The staff was so attentive to every single detail and need. The location is perfect as well. Would love to return some day.
