Comfortable hotel, central location

Hotel is very comfortable - not new but well renovated and clean, giving you a warm feeling. The reception staff is very courteous, and the complimentary breakfast offers a healthy variety - cereals, croissants, steamed vegetables, bacon, boiled eggs, Italian pastries, fruits. There is free coffee both in the breakfast room and the lobby. There is a large supermarket 5 minutes' walk, and some good restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again

Nice Hotel just out of the main tourist area. Easy walk to City Life Shopping area and the castello park area. Tram access outside the hotel to the Duomo and central area. Great breakfast selection and a nice 24hr reception with a free coffee / hot drinks area. Room was very well equipped with excellent bathroom facilities. Just lacks a restaurant to take it to a 5* but there are numerous within very short walking distance. Would certainly use again if travelling to Milan

The hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Desk was open 24/7. Close to public trans. The downside was it was impossible to sleep. There was either a bowling alley or vacuum racing above us all night, every night. The sounds went way past normal street noise and were consistent ‘booms’ every few seconds. The cleaning crew reorganized things (taking items from the living room to the bedroom) which I thought was strange but harmless I guess?

Treated us differently

We were looking forward to staying in a suit at the hotel, but our first night was somewhat of a nightmare, the electricity kept cutting out and the bathroom had mould and brown scales and the door was falling off. The next morning we were given another room which was different to the first room, had a dinning table and chairs but we could not relax and the shower in this room must be one of the smallest in any hotel, we are not big people, but we struggled to to have a bath. To cap-it-all our new room had a private gym nest door and they were making noise till gone 1 or 2 am and the noise would start again at 6am. We paid a lot of money and to be treated to substandard rooms was not pleasant experience. Staff were nice and helpful. One member of staff would not even give us 'ice' saying that the ice machine was broken. The next day another member of staff looked at the staff who did not want to serve me the day before and within a space of 5 minutes a member of staff bought ice our to our room. There was no milk or tea spoons, or proper glasses for a 4 star hotel.

Wonderfull hotel very close to the centre of Milan but away from all the hustle and bustle. Nicely appointed rooms with Balcony, great Breakfast and friendly staff. Tram line in front of the hotel and Subway only 2 blocks away.

Well situated for easy public transport access to central milan. Lack of any alcohol from bar even for example wine with meals

Great location, close to the heart of Milan!

Very comfortable hotel with a great breakfast. Everything was perfect apart from the location. It was so far from downtown that I racked up quite a few charges on Uber. I wish I had considered that into the price of this hotel. Still, it was a great place to stay otherwise.

Poor experience with broken toilet door

We stayed at Hotel Nasco for two nights in total. On the first night, the bathroom door was broken and was locked from the outside. By then, only the security guard was there and he could not fix it. therefore we were not able to use the toilet for the entire night and thus could not sleep well at all! No apologies nor any form of comment was made from the hotel about the incident during the entire stay. Moreover, the breakfast was abit of a chaos (especially late morning), the staff were outnumbered and people ended up finding their own seats or shared with strangers

Slept like a baby and two kids enjoyed stay. Awesome location with eats and sites. Walking distance to duomo and parque sempione and sforzesco castle

Nice comfy hotel close to San siro stadium the only downside is the price of beer from their bar it is 10 euros a glass. Also if you get a tram get a ticket before you get on ,the hotel sell them but they don't let you know any of this .

Nice hotel in bad locale.

The taxi cost $125 from the hotel to the airport. And it took a long 20 walk to the center of town through sketchy neighborhoods. No fun at night.

Bad soundpoof room

The room has very bad soundproof. Cars and trains pass by almost all day. Breakfast was tasty but not many choices. The staff of breakfast room is nice.

Conveniently located

I booked this hotel as I had to attend a conference at MICO. It is situated about 600m away, so it was an easy walk. The hotel is very easily accessible by public transport - the tram stop is almost right in front. Tram 1 goes to Duomo, Scala, and also Central Station. You can also walk about 500m to the Domodossola underground station which has escalators to the street level, so it is a great help if you have luggage. About 250m away from the hotel is a big supermarket Coop. Overall I recommend this hotel even though room is basic, and there is no coffee/tea making facility within the room

Nice, clean hotel close to transportation

What a pleasant surprise when I arrived right across the street from a tram line. Obviously has been recently renovated. Lobby area small but with a bar looking out at the street. Excellent, welcoming front desk staff, nicely decorated room with a built-in USB port. Breakfast buffet had hot food as well as pastries and fruit. When I needed directions, they explained the transportation system - great, inexpensive way to get around the city. If I'm ever back in Milan I would stay here again.

Don't stay here!

Probably one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. My room was right at the front, on the road, and noise from the street and trams kept me awake all night. It was also freezing, despite putting on the heating. Plus the restaurant is woeful and a bit sad. Go somewhere else!!!

This hotel was easy walking distance to MiCo; hotel staff were wonderful; housekeeping kept the room impeccably clean; and, the breakfast buffet was a fabulous way to start the day. The hotel is about 2 miles from the center of Milan; however, a tram stop is available right outside the lobby entrance. The quiet of the residential area was welcomed after a busy day, although we requested a room on a high floor in the back of the hotel, away from street noise.

Stayed here for a conference held in Mico Milano, just 7 minutes walking from this hotel. Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Just in front of a tram stop, and within walking distance to the Metro. Great selection of breakfast buffet. Fast check-in process.

Good location near to Metro station and tram stop.

The hotel room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The from desk staff could be more helpful when giving direction on how to use the public transportation. It would also be nice to offer take away breakfast for those who go away on early tours prior to breakfast hours.

Noisy tram right outside my hotel room

The tram tracks are right across the small street from the hotel. The tracks are not very smooth and therefore it is very noisy, making it hard to sleep. From about 5AM until late, trains pass every 4-5 minutes.

This hotel was very convenient to the Milo conference center, and a quick tram ride to downtown. Staff were friendly, courteous and professional.

Nice hotel in a well connected location

The staff was very kind and prepared, they also sell tickets for the public transport and call taxis for the guests. The room was big enough and clean, TV with a few English channels. Breakfast varied and big.

Nice little place which very well located for my meetings and very close to the MiCo exhibition centre. Good service and room. Breakfast was OK too.

Beware of Taking the Wrong Train

The area is quiet, bit with very limited choice of restaurants. The nearest metro/railway station is Domodossola, which is of exactly the same name of another train terminal near the swissland border running from Milan thru the Expo. There is a chance to take the wrong train and go in the wrong direction heading Swissland

Exactly what I needed.

The room was small but it did not need to be big. There was a desk and a twin bed. The bathroom may be actually been bigger than the living quarters. The staff was amazing. Incredibly helpful. Very nice. Spoke great English (hugely helpful for someone who does not speak ANY Italian. I am limited to Grazie, Prego, Buon Giornio). Incredibly convenient for the MiCo convention center. I would definitely stay again.

Great location & friendly staff

We stayed at the Qualys Hotel in Milan for two nights on our first trip to Milan. The location is superb. The hotel is an inexpensive taxi ride from the train station. We choose to walk to city center each day but the hotel is located right along the city trolley system which is inexpensive for those who do not want to walk. Several great restaurants are located close, both inexpensive and formal. Staff at the desk spoke English and were extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was fabulous each morning as we enjoyed a wide selection of both hot and cold items. We enjoyed the hotel bar and appetizers each evening. The rooms were clean and spacious. The only issue we had with the room (and hotel) was the rock hard pillows. We enjoyed the hotel for our first trip to Milan and would highly recommend to everyone.....just bring a pillow.

Modern hotel well furnished near conference centre

Business Trip to Milan

Helpful staff, FOC Internet, large clean room, located right next to tram running directly to the city centre. Parking in street was available free or €20 in secure garage. Good lighting on large workdesk with powerpoints for charging/working, plus a very powerful shower.

Close to MiCo

Very close to a major conference venue (MiCo) and some fantastic non-touristy restaurants near by. Great view from the hotel, too. Staff helpful and friendly, WiFi not amazing but okay. No recreational facilities, though.

Great proximity to convention center

Friendly staff, clean room, and great location for what I needed (proximity to convention center). The decor/furniture is somewhat dated, but everything was clean and functional.

Breakfast great! Location great. Appreciated special electronic blinds that absolutely shut out all light to help me with jet lag. Also appreciated they gave me an AC adapter to convert mine, as I brought the wrong converter.

Great food and service

My stay was wonderful. Particularly helpful were the people at the main reception desk. The bar tender was also very good! I would return happily!

Ideally positioned

Only reduced room condition to 4 as carpet was a little shoddy at the bathroom entrance + our shower floor was cracked in 2 corners, but that really didn't spoil our stay in any way.

Good location to get around the sights

Next to main tram line into the centre. Further lines less than 5 minutes away. Train station to Lake Como station by the lake is very close by. Drop off for Malpensa Express bus less than 10 minutes walk. Try and get hold of a tram route map as this would massively help with travel around Milan. It is surprising the routes some trams take

Terrible service.

Terrible. The hotel was undergoing major renovations which we were unaware on check in. We were placed on the 8th floor, the same as the construction and were woken at 6am it heavy drilling and the walls shaking. When we complained the language barrier meant there was nothing done. The breakfast was very average with both the coffee and juice machine broken down.

Convient stay near Corso Sempione

This is a fine hotel near the tram and convient for this part of the city. I stay here on business and it is a fine hotel. Nice room, good breakfast. Area probably not the best for tourists, but easily accessible.

Great for visitors to the Milano City Fiera

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hotel reception and bar were comfortable and convivial. Rooms at the front of the hotel suffered from a lot of road noise so it wasn't possible to keep the window open. Very convenient for the Fiera

Nice Stay

We stayed here for 2 nights and everything was ok. There's nothing overly spectacular about the hotel but it was clean and comfortable. Location was ok - you have to catch a tram to get into town but they run frequently and are inexpensive. Buffet breakfast was included with our room - it was quite disappointing and I definitely would not opt to pay extra for it. Overall it was on the better side of average.

Amazing staff !

Staff is just amazing. Very hospital, friendly and helpful... More or less all the members are working since many years at Nasco so you get recognized immediately you enter the hotel and head to the reception. Special thanks to the staff again for having served very nicely.

Location convenient for Convention Centre, walking distance. A single tram journey takes you to the middle of town. Decor rather old-fashioned, not at all like what is shown on the website. Shower cubicle with sliding doors only. Not all rooms have baths. The service is friendly enough. Food not very good. It serves its purpose as a hotel room, especially if you catch good rates. The rates for some (conference) nights were 3 to 4 times the cheap rate.

Right Near the Convention Center

Hotel Nasco is a nice little hotel tucked in a non-historical, working-class neighborhood in the outskirts of Milan. The street is a big tree-lined Corso Sempione, at the far end of a historical park. It's main attraction is its very close proximity to the MiCo Convention Center of Milan. It also has easy access to the #1 and #19 tram lines into the city center, for when you need to get away from the MiCo. To get to the hotel from Malpensa Airport take the Malpensa Express for eleven euro and the #1 tram for one and half euro. This is much better than the hundred euro cab ride, and about the same time frame. The building is a vintage 70's style building, as are the furnishings. The top 9th floor is a walk up from the elevator to the 8th, but this is a nice elevation from the bustle of street traffic. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. I had some medical issues during my stay and the staff were very caring and helpful in helping me get the care that I needed in the local Urgent Care facility (another, different experience). Make note of the hotel daily rate, which is a GREAT value on the weekend, and a not so great value for the weekdays. You have to make your plans and use the hotel accordingly, but it is a better deal when you need to stay in Milan over the weekend. The Coop grocery store is a block away and the restaurants off the main Corso on the other side of the street are excellent.

friendly staff, all round good hotel

The staff really made this hotel as they were friendly, approchable, english speaking and knowledgable. The location is about a 25 minute tram journey from the city centre/sites and the tram line is outside the hotel so fairly convenient location. Free street parking is possible but may require some luck or else patience driving around. Although I do feel that Italian hotel star systems are a little more complementary than in the UK, this hotel makes a very good stay and I would visit again.

They made me feel unwanted

Upon check-in the staff is lovely. Add another day or two to your stay and you will be surprised that the staff seem to wish you were no longer there. I was surprised and disappointed with the service, and the passive aggressive attitudes in regards to payments, which I did in full and promptly but only after they started treating me poorly instead of asking me to prepay (when I had offered). Wifi is fast but 10 Euro per 24 hours. Free internet in the lobby can only support 5 people. Beautiful balcony view, quiet area, but overall disappointing.

Lovely Hotel

Rooms were larger than expected, very clean, staff very friendly. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was amazing! It's not in the centre centre, but the tram stop is literally right outside the door, takes about 10/15mins to get to the centre. Very convent.

Too far from Milan's center

Travelling to Milan's center cannot be done by foot and takes 20 minutes by tram. If you want to be in the center of Milan, this is probably not the hotel for you.

There is an Castle, about 20 minutes WD, in the big park. There is a bus stop in front of Hotel and it's easy to go to the city center.

Good Hotel at very reasonable price

The Nasco Hotel is a good hotel for a short stay in Milan. It is about 10 minutes away from the tourist areas by tram. Rooms are clean and well equipped for this price of hotel, and the breakfast is good. For the price, I think the hotel is better than I expected, and the staff are very efficient and friendly. I was in Milan for a business meeting, and this hotel was perfect for my needs.

Pleasant Surprise and Great Value

We were not expecting a four-star hotel when we made the reservations for this hotel, so you can imagine how pleasantly surprised we were to be greeted with a free fruit basket. We got a great deal on this hotel- a free night when three nights are booked. This ended up being the cheapest and best hotel that we stayed in during our 3-week tour of Italy and France. The staff are very friendly- one of the clerks speaks five languages. My favorite part about this hotel is the breakfast buffet, which has food to suit anybody's tastes, whether you are from Italy, France, or the USA. The biggest drawback to the hotel is that it is far away from the central train station, so you have to take a couple of metro trains to get there. Just map out your route in advance and the extra distance will be worth it.
