It was ok. Clean and located in a business area.
The toilet makes big noise every time after flashing
Just far to where I needed to go. Place quiet.
The rooms are extremely small and the AC was not the strongest. Overall, it was extremely clean and had more amenities than I thought a small room could fit. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area was safe and we walked a various times at night without feeling unsafe or having any incidents
The room was small but functional. Good for a long layover.
👉👻⚠️📣
I thought it was a good value. It was small but provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The one issue is that it couodbus some detail cleaning in less used parts of the room for example the book shelf over the desk/credenza area. Bathroom, linen, bed, etc. We're all quite clean.
Quiet and close to train station
Staff was so friendly. Especially the young man from Nepal.
My room was a tad small, making it difficult to open more than one luggage at a time. I liked that there was a kitchenette included in our room. The washroom was a tad dirty, as well as the rest of the room. The area is convenient as it is close to the Yamanote line, being one stop away from Tokyo station or akihabara.
Good amount of space in the room, had a microwave and kettle which was nice. Good location to Kanda station but the rooms facing the motorway can get a bit noisy at times. Staff were lovely and very helpful, good hotel. We would recommend and stay again.
Easy accessibility around Tokyo. Great location and was very close to food, train station and convienience stores
Overall experience was good. Room was a bit small.
ce, good location, friendly staff
We loved our stay here! We needed a place close to the train station (kanda st) to optimize time and also a place where we could work at night. The room was ok for japanese standards and the staff were very firndly! The two guys at the front desk speak english very well, maybe the rest of the staff should brush up their language skills, specially now that the Olympics are comming. Again, for japanaese standards, their english was fine overall. Great place, great location, clean and friendly
Great hotel for couple or solo traveller
Great for couple orsolo traveller because space is small but has everything. Room size is good, toilet is super small.very clean and location is great. Walking distances to train station, lots of food places (Japaneseand non Japanese food) and family mart is just beside.
Nice clean convenient even though it is small! Will recommend to others!
Easy to walk to various metro, value for money, helpful staff, family mart just downstairs.
Nice hotel, good value. Great location...............
The bed was super comfy, better than other more expensive hotels I have stayed in. The location was very close to Kanda Station so easy to get to all of the tourist sites. I really like the fact that it was an eco hotel so they weren't washing towels and sheets everyday. I only stayed for 3 days each time which was perfect for me.
Kind staff, wish you could bring a friend in to visit though :/ But i understand.
Great staff, near train station and near to market.
Convenient location, good yen-to-value lodging
Close to JR Kanda and Metro Kodemmachô stations, pretty equally distanced. Family Mart (convenience store) is literally right next door. Many eateries and pubs in the area, and JR Tôkyô station is one stop away. Hotel is very clean, staff are all courteous and friendly. The double (full?) sized bed is really not large enough for two adults though they claim it accommodates two. Not the roomiest hotel around, but sufficient and good yen-to-value lodging if you’re basically in need of a place to sleep at night and to leave large suitcases for your local travels.
super clean. helpful staff
Great locations and easy to get to anyway within Tokyo. The only small issue is that there is some traffic noise but that is almost impossible to avoid in Tokyo.
Good place to single or a young couple
Great, clean place for business, single or a young couple without kids. Rooms are small for any family. A family of two teenagers with two rooms felt very crammed
Thé hotel is close to the lands station and family mart is just next to the hotel, it is clean but the room is small, shower is small.. the beds are small too , double bed is good for a couple who is very well fit, my friends on the other room had to lay on the bed side ways just for both of them to fit the bed, good thing they are not too tall (2 Asian women) .. the price is great though, cheaper than other hotels in Tokyo
Difficult to sleep. Could be Pillow was hard or Room was at ground floor (could hear road noise)
The hotel is very nice and close to a station which is good. Although, the room itself is very small. I usually don’t mind, but if you’re sharing either another person note that you can barely move in the bathroom and there is not much room to put your luggage and walk around. The place is clean and good amenities are provided with washing machines and ice machine by the lobby. Most of the staff were nice as well.
Good location, basic but good.
It’s a strange hotel and area that looks better at night! The rooms were standard Japan small but clean, a bit too much furniture which would have made more room. The hotel was in a great location for the metro so easy to get to loss of places. They gave a helpful map at reception to help us. Reception ordered us an airport taxi which arrived early which was reassuring for a 5.30am leave! Would use them again.
Overall service was good but hotel is very dusty. Can visibly see dusks in room and carpet. Not recommend for those with allergies.
Good location. TINY sink.. can't even wash face
Not only this site, but overall, it's very hard to find hotels in Japan. So it took us twice long to get to hotel from the station, but once we knew where, it was about 7 minutes walk. There are a lot of restaurants around the station, and the path from/to hotel from the station is a straight shot. The station was big enough there are JR and private train line to go many places in Tokyo by train. Only bad thing was that the sink was so small, we couldn't even wash face. Good thing is that it's an unit bath, so just use bathtub to do so.
Tokyo 2019
Room is small for 2 luggages, and the bathroom too small for 1 person, plus the watercloset cover not flat should install more hanger for clothing for bath or such
Great staff and location. Close to subway. The rooms were small but had everything I needed.
Staff is very nice. The room is very cleanliness. Facility is good.
Room was very small by the time you have 2 people and 2 suitcases, but was very clean which is a priority for us.
Excellent hotel! Staff were very kind and allowed us deposited my luggage before the check-in time. Room is well equipped and quite new. There is fridge inside the room. Will consider choosing this hotel again if I have a chance visiting Tokyo.
The staff and manager did not honor my booking even though the booking was done in advance and the money processed in advance ! When I arrived they had no room for me and asked me to leave at 9:39 pm when I arrived after a 20 hours of flying and it was raining and cold outside at night in s new city ! Horrible hospitality by the staff and manager who did not even come out to apologize !
The hotel is conveniently located near 2 train stations (about 8 min walk). The room is small but very cosy and clean. Love the small platform at the bed and the charging points. Furthermore, they provided a cable for you to charge your phone.
Lovely and clean. The rooms are on the small side but to be expected in Tokyo. Easy access to several train stations.
about 15minutes walk to train station, not much restaurants around but reasonably price
Great hotel for a 2 week stay. Room was small but didn't stay most of the day inside, so it was great. Only thing i would like for each room to have would be a microwave, so we don't have to go to the lobby every time. Overall experience it was great.
Excellent location, room was tidy with the necessary amenities
It's small, cosy and has it all. For the price, definitely the best I've had.
Had a room facing the overpass and traffic went on all night. Was a little noisy so hard to get to sleep.
Not suitable for children
We booked this for 2 adults and a baby. The room said it would fit two adults and a child. When we arrived we saw that the room had a double bed and no floor space left to add a cot or small bed for our baby. The hotel staff said they don’t supply cots or anything. Even though I specified we had a child travelling with us the best they could offer us was a blanket so my 6 month old baby could sleep on the floor! Needless to say he spend 5 nights sleeping in the double bed with me and my 6ft husband. Not a comfortable experience. I think the hotel would be more than suitable for a sole traveler or a couple for a short stay but certainly not for a baby or child. There is no where to hang a wet towel or anything like that either.
Great budget hotel. Hotel staff provided the specific hotel room that was requested. Great service
As expected. At least this mystays hotel have a air conditioner (cooling)
Friendly Staff at Hotel MyStays Kanda
Hotel Mystays Kanda was a very friendly and clean hotel. It was about a 15 min walk to hotel from Tokyo Station. The room and bathroom were small but we were not in our room other than to sleep so really didn't matter. The front lobby staff could speak English and were very friendly and helpful when we had travel questions. They even called to confirm our next reservation in Kyoto for us. Thank you very much!
This was our second time staying at this location, and just like the first time the staff was amazing and very helpful the location is great. Walking distance to akihabara and the jr stations and supermarket.
Nice hotel close to family Mart
Comfortable room with nice facilities. Will recommend to someone who wants to spend less with good location.
Close to two major train lines and center of Tokyo
Great to be located so close to the centre with two major train lines in walking distance to the hotel (i.e. in the East and West of the hotel)
Convenient location.
We were given the only ground floor room which was next to reception, hotel public toilet and laundry so it was quite noisy. Room in generally was quite small but looked new and well maintained except bathroom. Soup scum was visible on wall and black mould was visible next to toilet cistern. Instructions on how to use microwave were in Japanese. Other than these, it was quite a pleasant stay.
Tiny room.
Conveniently located. Nice staff. Super tiny room, but comfortable bed.
This place is close to a few train stations and only one train station away from the Tokyo train station. Even the rooms are not that big but they are very well organized and functional. staff are very friendly. I will stay at this place again.
I like it.
Good hotel close to Kanda station. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location was very strategic
We found this hotel 1 week before our trip to Tokyo. The price they charged are very reasonable for a city like Tokyo. Locations is very convenient and nearby to the train station. The size of the room is small but enough for 2 person to stay. Overall, the room is very clean and comfortable for a week stay. We will stay here again if we are visiting Tokyo in a short term.
Happy stays
Its a good location near to Kanda Station and staff are very friendly, rooms are typically small but very functional. Nearby small supermarkets for snacks and many food choices nearer to Kanda Station
Nice hotel convenient but rooms a little tight
Nice hotel!
I have stayed with hotel Mystay Kanda for 4 nights. The room is tidy and with everything you need. Location is good, near the JR & Metro. Appreciate the ventilation system is good as I have allergy problem with bad air condition.
Comfort and easy access.
Very supportive staff with clean and comfort atmosphere
Great staff with fluent English
Good location with enough facility to stay and travel around Tokyo
It has the essentials, although be prepared to do some tetris if you're staying in the room with another person.
Kanda nice stay
The staff was very nice, the accommodations were small but clean and in good working order.
Very nice hotel and better staff
I was in town with some friends and we needed a spot at the last minute. We were able to find this hotel at the last minute and it was the ideal spot.
GREAT Location!
We enjoyed our stay a tHotel MyStays Kanda. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Though the hotel did not have a restaurant on site, there were plenty of wonderful places to eat your meals around the area. There is a convenience store right next door for quick snacks and drinks. What we loved most about the hotel is the location. It was a short walk to Kanda Station which made it very easy to get from one place to the next. It was also a quick 10 minute walk to Akihabara and a 20 minute walk to Tokyo Station, which was the pick up point for most of our guided tours. The hotel was a great place to rest your head after a very long day. We would stay there again and would highly recommend the hotel to family and friends.
A little pricey for a business hotel but very comfortable and clean---nice area as well.
Great stay at Mystays!
Stayed here for a total of 10 nights, location of hotel is not too far from the JR Line and Metro line, about 5 min walk. The bathrooms are small, my knees can almost touch the wall when I sit down on the toilet seat but the room size is big enough for 2 people. Most standard size room in Toyko hotels are small so this was one perfect for me and my boyfriend. There is a laundry machine on the lobby level. $300 yen a wash that dispenses soap automatically in the washers and the dryer is $100 yen per 15 mins. Hotel staff is friendly and very polite. There are lots of restaurants outside the Kanda Station so we would walk to get a late night meal before walking back to the hotel. It's a great location, we even found a ramen place that was so good we went there twice! There is also a shop where they sell the fish shaped red bean or sweet potato. I wouldn't mind come backing to this hotel to stay in the future again esp. with all the good food around there.
Good clean place.
Nice place ... but very small. Typical of Japan. Extremely clean and great staff. A little bit of a walk to the station. Wish it was closer. Business district so the streets are completely deserted at nights except for the shady area around the station.
Very nice hotel and friendly staffs:) looking forward to stay there again soon. :) 👍👍
Great value for money, excellent hotel
Excellent place to stay considering its a business budget hotel. They provide literally everything, even pyjamas to sleep in the night. If I had known I would have brought less so that I could carry less. The amenities and the extras make it a great place. It is by a main highway so it is noisy if you open the window and there is no "view". I personally didn't care about this as I only really slept there. The hotel is also located close to many public transport amenities and is one stop or an approx. 25 min walk away from Tokyo station. With the JR rail pass you can take the train from Kanda to around the city very easily.
Good location, not great for families
The rooms are tiny. The doors for the bathroom are loud. Adjoining room means they are next door to each other, not, you know, actually adjoined. That said, this hotel is very clean and very close to two different Train stations, which made it very convenient. Walking distance to Akihabara. Super clean, really nice staff, good laundry machines. This is really a hotel for business people and not so much families, but we made it work for our family of 4. Not my favorite pillows.
Good stay
Bed was comfortable, hotel was clean, room was simple. Location was very good, walking distance to Yamanote and Ginza lines, and only one stop from Tokyo Station. Affordable, and a good option.
Affordable hotel in Tokyo Centre
I was pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel is. As a tourist I'm looking for somewhere with a location that can easy access public transportation and as I have the JR Pass, I can use the rail station very close by. Rooms aren't as small as I thought and they provide all the amenities that you may require. Highly recommend!
nice place to stay
not in the center of Tokyo city. but convenient enough with 3 subway stops around. the only thing is the noise at night if you are a light sleeper.
Central and easy access to transport
A clean and compact room located in a central area close to all forms of transport. Staff very helpful.
Very nice. Clean, larger than standard Japanese bed. Short walk to Kanda station or very short, cheap taxi to Tokyo station
Perfect Hotel for a tourist.
Myself and my parnter really enjoyed our stay at MyStays Kanda. We stayed at the hotel for around 12 nights. The location was perfect as it’s just up the road from JR Kanda Station, which links up to Tokyo Station in around 5 minutes. The hotel also has numerous supermarkets surrounding it. One of which being a FamilyMart just two doors down. Very handy for picking up the bits you need on a longer stay, and the stores are open 24 hours a day. The Hotel itself had all the amenities we needed. Fridge, microwave and kettle inside the room. There was also vending machines and a laundry washing/drying facility available on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. They were super helpful too as they let us leave our cases at the hotel even after we had checked out. Meaning we could enjoy our last day in Toyko. There is room cleaning at the hotel, conducted in a simple fashion. Simply put the magnet on the door to say you want your room made up and it shall be done. All the nessesary cleaning is completed and they even provide you with a pair of PJ’s. We were located on the 8th floor and had a lovely view from our window. Though the room was small (most are in Japan) it was well furnished and the bed was very cosy. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a affordable and comfortable stay.
Nice rooms although very small. Neighborhood not very attractive.
Me and my kids felt like we are home. The best vacation i ever had. Looking forward to going back in a few years and staying innthe same hotel where the lacation was pretty close to the surrounding vicinity in those places that my kids wanted to visit.
Good budget hotel near Kanda Station
We stayed as a family of 4 in 2 rooms for 3 nights while visiting Tokyo. The room prices were very competitive, though the rooms were small they were clean and tidy, the staff including cleaning staff were all polite. Best of all was the location about 5/6 mins walk from Kanda Station with superb transport access - in a relatively quiet area, despite being opposite a flyover, away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo centre.
A nice lovely small room. Has everything that you would need in a hotel room.
My Version-My Stays
Excellent hotel superb location 5 mins from Kanda all the usual stuff in the room plus free slippers and pijamas and a heated toilet seat!..and i had smoking room...no complaints whatsoever...very pleased with the friendly hotel staff...moshi moshi...ice maker on the ground floor...washing machine...
Very good
Very good place to syay ... I really enjoyed it
Close but not too close to everything
Only complaint I had was the bed. Two week trip and the monday or Tuesday pf week two, my back was in immense pain and it was only when I slept. Softer bed would due tons great fantastic experience otherwise!
Great value
The room was clean. It provided many necessities. Larger than most value places. It was minutes from a train station and shopping. The staff was friendly. The hotel was nicely decorated for business with efficiency in mind. The hotel was missing a pool and a gym which I am accustomed too.
Nice enough, expected a small room.
Bathroom could do with some bleach but otherwise clean. If you're over 6ft you may struggle in bathroom. Room fine though, perfect for solo traveller. In the business district so ideally located for work. 10min walk to nearest metro stop which is 5mins to Tokyo Central. Would stay again.
Good
The facilities were not new and some are even broken, but the total comformity is enough.I would like to stay at this hotel if I have another chance to visit this area.
Friendly staff and clean rooms
Room was quite small but indeed clean and accessible to all other locations. When you're in Tokyo expect a lot of walking.
The hotel is in great location (near to JR Kanda station) and room was clean though smaller in size. Surrounding has great food.
Other than the size of the room it was perfect for the budget conscious traveller.
Nice location and helpful staff. Near Family mart and Kanda station.
Stayed as a couple for 2 nights. It's in a business area, and is within a 10 minute walk to a few different subway/JR stations. Room was pretty standard for the area (small). OK room and OK area for the price, but there are better districts to stay in as a tourist.
Great, friendly staff who were very helpful! The room was nice too, excellent location.
Short one-night stay at Mystays Kanda
The superior double room was generally okay except for the very small bathroom and toilet. The TV was of good size especially for following the US election updates.
Great staff, small room.
Typical small hotel in Tokyo. Staff was great, space was small, difficult to find way around area.
okay for the price
It was an okay standard for me. Isnt far from KAnda station, n from Kanda it was easy access to diff parts of tokyo. ROom was small but thats understandable. Nice halal indian eating shop right across the street for muslims
Close enough to Kanda station.
Easy to got to Tokyo station via Kanda Station. Area is okay. Found a great little restaurant not far away. Hotel staff is friendly and rooms are clean

For a budget hotel, extremely nice with the minimum necessities. I would stay here again.
