The room service when asked at the reception for towers was inconsiderate

Lovely hotel, great location

Very safe location, easy to find and not to far from AirPort Express bus, will most likely use this hotel again in the future

Well located for access on foot or by public transport to most attractions. Breakfast is not that great but was already included in our room price. Persistent noise from bathroom fan meant had to always use ear plugs.

Night stay

The Gallery and the Breakfast room were impressive. The lether next to the pool was broken and we were not allowed to use the pool. We were satisfied with the room and the staff was awesome.

We liked the fact that the spa and fitness facilities were included in the price of the room. The breakfast was excellent, good choice on the menu. The location was fantastic, we where able to walk to the major tourist sites.

Nice location, easy access and clean room/building. Breakfast can be chaotic, lack of space and staff not so well organized.

Great hotel! Wonderful breakfast and about a 20 min walk to most places! Not bad at all! Staff was great help with bags!

Overall good with some simple changes needed

Hotel is good, recycling not available which is an improvement that can easily be done. Towels need replacing as they are hard with age. Staff excellent especially on reception

Unexpectedly very satisfied

Stayed in a superior room. Nice big room with a very comfortable bed. A free spa visit was included which I made use of. Overall, I would stay here again as I was very satisfied!

The hotel seems brand new. Everything is in excellent shape and it has small extras that really make a difference. My favorite was that the tile floor of the shower was rough and non-slip. We had two Westies with us that were treated well by the staff and made welcome. The hotel is one block off a busy main street and plaza, but it's in a quiet world of its own. We could walk to a hundred restaurants and busy street life in the district.

Beds were so uncomfortable! Like sleeping in a rock. Terrace was a nice feature. Staff was welcoming and kind!

Lovely hotel in a great area

This is a lovely hotel in the perfect location. The rooms are spacious, yet comfy, and have every amenity you could need while traveling. The staff are helpful and most attractions are easily accessible by walking or local transportation.

Great hotel in a good location with only a short walk to all the main tourist attractions. Spa facility was great with access from 5-10pm. Staff great and breakfast really nice with good selection. Only minor negative was that the air con wasn’t great but overall would definitely recommend

Lovely hotel, just off the main street so nice and quiet. The Spa was great after walking all day.

My stay was comfortable. My only issue was the darkness of the room. 3 lamps with 3 strobe lights attached. All seem to have the lowest watt bulb in the market. At times I had to use my iPhones light to see better.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. We booked breakfast and it was definitely worth. A great choice of food that set us up for the day. The room was excellent and serviced daily. We booked a terrace room which was really lovely. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel with lovely staff. Special mention to Amanda who made the best cocktails and also helped us arrange a birthday surprise for our friend.

Absolutely ideal hotel for a family, couples or friends. Great room for three of us with plenty of room for luggage as well. Beautiful hotel in old building but modern inside. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to walk into city area and the hotel is situated in a quiet street. Interesting building opposite hotel which you need to ask reception about as it’s a special place!! Definitely recommend and would stay here again when we visit this beautiful city again.

Great location and lovely hotel

The hotel was well appointed and close to the city sights and the breakfast was very good and fresh each day. The staff were very friendly and attentive and able to answer our questions about the local transport and restaurants.

Staff lovely Room big and comfortable Bathroom great. Beds comfy and location good if you like walking! - Aircon ineffective so opening windows meant lots of noise from street below. Bar closes at 10! Hot breakfast items limited, unappetising and options questionable (mixed veg, mixed beans, grey fried eggs), food kept running out and took a while to replace, layout caused crowding problems and often queueing for seats. €10 per hour for a late checkout whereas a friends hotel down the road (Continental) was free of charge.

I didn’t feel the hotel was 4 star. Service and checkin were excellent but the facilities were dark and often not clean, particularly the spa area. Room was large and quiet but could have been cleaner.

It was amazing, although the bed was a bit hard. Other than that, everything was perfect and we'd diffinately return.

Good points are the property is in a quiet convenient location, the room was fine very comfy bed, The bad points were having to wait nearly an hour for my room even though it was supposed to be ready at 1500hrs ,due house keeping issues! they did offer me a free drink from the bar though. The breakfast looked great but the hot section was cold.

Good location, Very quite but still near to main city attractions Rooms are decent size but bathrooms/ shower r small. Restaurant /breakfast area has good food but repeated every day. Lounge is decent size with bar never seen any action at bar. Lack of staff I guess.

A very awful experience, 2 rooms were booked and were far away from each other, no courtesy to give a any room closer even after requesting. No Air Condition, Extremely old TV running cable so no channels in English Language all in Hungarian. Poor choice of breakfast options and the same breakfast everyday. Booked a cab via hotel but neither did they say nor did the taxi driver that its their independence day so all shops and markets were closed so was a waste of a trip and wasted money on commute, after being told this once back at the hotel the staff member was laughing instead of apologising. Absolutely ridiculous service.

Comfortable, welcoming hotel close to the centre of Budapest. Friendly attentive staff, comfortable rooms. Substantial tasty breakfast. All in all a highly recommended base for exploring Budapest.

Great hotel for a weekend stay. Everything is walkable and public transport is also easily accessible. The hotel breakfast was good and the staff at the front desk are really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Clearly not a 4* hotel. The receptionists were all unfriendly. I have asked for a 20 minutes late checkout and it was not possible. They called the room at 11:58 to do the checkout even if I was on my way to the reception. Rooms are small and they dont offer amenities for a 4* hotel. Everyhting you ask at the reception is a no. Spa is open only from 5pm to 10pm. Breakfast too crowded and not so many options as all. They say they have a gym but there is actually all in one machine and 3 cardio ones.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms. Great benefit of having access to fitness & wellness (including jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath). Breakfast was also very good. Very happy overall and would stay again.

Great with a couple of niggles

Overall great - great location, clean, comfortable and helpful people. However, niggles were that there was nowhere to hang coats in the room and no drawers at all. Nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom either. The hotel says breakfast is served until 10.00am, but arriving at 9.40am there was very little left and no replenishment when asked.

Very comfortable

Arrived late.. parking sorted out by the gentleman at reception.. very helpful at the front of the hotel.. advised us where to eat as the restaurant was closed.. wasn’t disappointed by their recommendations.. all in all a very good hotel..

Good service.

Good breakfast, great folks at the welcome desk. Walls were paper thin and you could literally hear what the folks said in the next room. Great massage from Julio. Spa is only open 5-10 pm which was quite limiting.

Pleasant hotel in Budapest

Hotel is well furnished with modern furniture. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. As a four start hotel I would expect a larger variation at breakfast. Walking distance to the train station.

Good Choice for Budapest

Convenient location, close to U-2 line and one block to main street and a Tesco Store. The hot bar area is close and only a 5 minute walk. Rooms are remodeled nicely and baths are modern and well done. Parking was close and reasonable ($8,50 a day). Breakfast was included in price and was outstanding. Spa, onsite, was great with a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, all at no charge. Hotel is a good choice and was reasonably priced. (Not rack rate but Hotels.com price)

We can’t sleep good enough because didn’t have air condition in the hotel and if you open the window in the room you get noise from the traffic street

Great location - nice and quiet but easy access to the city. Plenty of local places of interest. Hotel was spotlessly cleaned and very well managed.

Nice place but not amazing. The staff was good and took care about all the problems in the room (there were few and it took them time but they did it politely). The breakfast and the room were average, we decided most of the days to eat outside instead.

The staff was wonderful, especially the receptionist that checked us in, Karolin, she was amazing really! We also quite liked our room, and the breakfast was wonderful (on Thursday especially, the first few days it was not as good as on Thursday, perhaps the weekend gets better options, but it was great) :) Loved the spa as well and we were given a complimentary massage at check in which was a nice surprise. The website does say onsite parking which they did not have, but the offsite parking they directed us to was a lot cheaper than what was listed on Expedia anyway, so it was a great little twist. Overall loved our stay :)

A great find - affordable, clean and modern!

Our stay at Museum hotel in Budapest was fantastic. The room was clean, bed was extremely comfortable and whatever we needed was always provided by the reception. It's also really central! The only issue would be the breakfast, that was lacking at times and due to covid circumstances, we felt uncomfortable eating from the stations which weren't really kept clean.

It was clean, but noisy. Breakfast was so good! Taxi service to the hotel from airport was so expensive. They do not accept credit card, only cash😳

A lovely comfortable hotel, clean and within walking distance to most attractions . A most adequate breakfast so much to choose from. lovely friendly staff both at breakfast and on the front desk, nothing ever to much trouble. Not being in Budapest before we asked a lot of questions about where to go and what to see always helpful. Will certainly be back in the future.

A nice modern hotel, tiny rooms

Hotel Museum was overall a pleasant stay though I have to say, we paid for the bigger superior room and it was still super tiny. Positive: The service was nice and everyone was very friendly. The hotel has a modern and trendy look which we loved! Everything was really beautifully decorated and designed. The spa was okay. NEGATIVE: The rooms are just way too small for the cost of the hotel and for being 4 stars. There was barely any room to walk around the bed. Another negative for us was the very dim lights in the room, even when you turned on all the possible lights and fixtures in the room and hallway, it was still very dark and only dim light. Breakfast was okay but very very basic and absolutely the same for the 7 days we stayed there. They never changed even one thing and it was just so repetitive and boring.

The hotel is located in a good area. Close to transport and places to eat. The room was nice and comfortable. The synopsis says the room has tea and coffee making facilities in the room which I would say is loosely put. There is tea, no regular tea just herbal tea. There’s a kettle and a mini fridge which is good. No coffee, and when we asked at reception we were told the rooms don’t have tea or coffee and the staff member was rude and dismissive about it. Overall the staff we met weren’t helpful, rude and very much disinterested. Apart from the poor customer service and level of pleasant attitude at the front desk the hotel is good. It’s ideal for first time trip to Budapest. I would recommend it just be weary of some staff members.

I would like to be positive

I will try my best to be constructive and firstly let me say this is a hotel with a lot of potential to be a great little find. It seems to be a hotel going through some form of financial or managerial crisis. I doubt whether it is possible for anyone to stay for more than four days and not suffer a simple complaint. After day one there was no freshwater in the lobby the coffee machine was not working, there was no one to provide drinks of an evening in the bar, simple things like changing a lightbulb in our room was not done. I am 6 foot three so the facility to shower in our room was very small and at one point I scolded myself when catching the taps. We were moved to a larger room much to the disgruntlement of Alec on reception however Cilla proved to be very helpful and found us another room. When we got there the air-conditioning wasn’t working but once I pointed this out they were very helpful in getting it fixed. The staff try really hard and the place has a lot of potential it just needs a really enthusiastic management team/owner and it will be worthy of the four stars it seems to collect. In terms of position for those who like to walk it is ideal. Leave the hotel in any direction and be prepared to be wowed by the architecture, fabulous parks, bars, restaurants, museums, and attractions well known the world over. A hotel with great potential in a fabulous city.
