Quiet place calm friendly staff

Decent Place. great price was there for work

When I had called them to see if we could book in early, they put me on hold and never came back to the phone. The facility was clean, bed comfy, and a great place to stay. We only spent one night as we were traveling through. Breakfast was reasonable amount of options.

Friendly, clean and great breakfast!

Originally had a booking & had to cancel unexpectedly due to an emergency. We're moving between provinces, so this was a 1 night stay. The person I dealt with was wonderful & the hotel manager allowed us to cancel without penalty. Our horrible experience was when we rebooked for a night & had our daughter go ahead to check us in & set our 2 cats up, we were still dealing with things & loading a moving truck. She said this is what she was doing. I arrived at the hotel at 12:30 am after a very long drive from NS, my husband at 2:30 am, both of us exhausted! I woke up around 7 am & called the desk to ask for a late check out due to the circumstances. He said that he would check with the manager, but if it was allowed, it would be $29.95 plus tax. We agreed that if it was ok, he wouldn't call back, to allow us to sleep. I was to go to the desk before 11 to pay the fee. I went to the desk at about 10:45 to be told that because my daughters was no longer there, they could not allow the late check out. For the record, we were requesting a check out of 1pm (regular is 11am), due to having to wait for a family member to come 2 hrs for our cats, we had forgotten we wouldn't have room to put them & all of their stuff as the car was full. I asked him to check with his manager & to please say it is the same people that had to cancel due to a family emergency. He said that was policy. I'm sorry but exceptions can be made! Horrible & insensitive customer service! The hotel was not busy!

Great value place with a proper selection free morning breakfast. Executive rooms are awesome! Magnetic Zoo and hill right around the corner. Go karts and butterfly sanctuary across the road. Staff was very helpful the entire stay and very polite. I would 100% stay again next time I'm in the area.

It’s very affordable but don’t expect much. The rooms are renovated but they weren’t done by a professional. The wallpaper was all warped, hand towel rail barely hanging onto the wall, the sink was very slow to drain while washing hands. No alarm clock in the room which we thought was odd. There was no dedicated strike pad in the doorframe to lock the door, just a big hole for both the deadbolt and spindle. We moved the sofa bed in front of the door to make us feel more secure. Underneath the sofa bed appeared to not have been swept for a while. Would recommend turning on the air conditioner for some white noise as you can hear the rooms all around you. We did really like the mattress on the bed, was quite comfortable.

The room was verry well taken care of and verry clean. Price for 2 nights was also great!!! Bath tub was great size for a bath even for someone 6 foot tall

The walls are very thin so you can easily hear the surrounding tooms and the people on top of you…

This was NOT a Hotel. It was a motel. The AC didn’t work and we barely slept because it was so hot and the person above us was SO loud. Never staying here again.

It was a great stay....

We stayed for a weekend at Hotel Moncton. While the outside of the hotel looks a little run down and could use some sprucing up, the staff and room were great. Check in/check out was simple, staff were very friendly, room was a nice size for the 5 of us. The beds were comfortable. We had a sofa bed so we requested extra towels and bedding, and the staff was there within minutes to deliver what we had asked for. Breakfast was included and was good for an included breakfast. The parking lot could use some new pavement, but they have a parking lot of the side that we used when the main lot was full. It was an overall good experience and i would stay again.

Overall a good place to stay. We just spent one night while passing through Moncton and it met all our needs. King bed was comfortable, TV was decent and room was basic but clean and a good size. We would definitely stay here again. Also. the free breakfast included in the stay was excellent. Friendly staff upon check in as well.

Sarcastic and condescending gentleman working the front desk at check-in. Hotel was nice. Checkout was with someone much more pleasant.

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, though a touch stuffy. The vent in the bathroom didn't work. It was a cozy stay, and perfect for a couple of nights in the city.

Breakfast and restaurant were great. Room (212) was a little dated but very clean. Nice bed and nice sheets. Very good for the price. It’s called a Hotel, but seems more like a Motel to me. Not a big deal, but more accurate. Would stay there again, but maybe not with my wife.

Rooms where not sounds proof at all. The heat was stuck on and it was very hot

Rooms way too warm and no way to cool down, ac unit blocked off and fan not even close to good enough to cool down

It is an older style of motor Inn that was nicely restored,clean, quiet, buffet was great, room we had was pretty much new with all new wall,floor, bathroom fixtures,staff in kitchen were very efficient and polite. Bedding was very clean with new mattress.Very close to a lot of restraints and magic mountain , butterfly farm,and other attractions

Great stop on the way to PEI after a long drive. They accommodated a late check in very efficiently and we were setup and happy with the complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy, comfy beds and food and coffee in the morning. Thank you.

Whenever we go to Moncton if it's for an apt at the hospital, or family trip with our dog, we LOVE the hotel Moncton. For the price, clean, hot breakfast and workers smile is a PLUS... Love it and will be back...

Its was nice and quiet

The hotel is quite old. That being said, it appears to be fairly well maintained. I found the floor in my room to be uneven. Made me feel a little off balance when first getting out of the bed. The staff were very friendly.

Excellent spot considering the lower than average price. It's not super fancy but it's very clean and staff were nice. Free breakfast FAR exceeded my expectations! Very yummy with good selection.

It’s greaty

If you want a time capsule to the 60s...this is your place. We actually left at 4 am instead of 630 for the airport because neither one of us could sleep

Staff were helpful and quick to resolve issue with heat in our room on a very cold day.

Loved hearing the lions roar from the zoo!! Would suggest larger bath towels.

Place was great for the price. Offered a big fridge and microwave inside the room. Wasnt a fan of the floors creaking so loudly, but hey! It was a well kept older building. :)

We stayed at Hotel Moncton. They have nice decor updates done to the rooms. Breakfast was included in the rate. Food was good for the most part.

Last minute stay

Our stay was short last minute choice for soccer. Both people we delt with over phone and in person were lovely. Answer all my questions. It was a great experience andni would stay again.

This is an old property, but has been well kept. Very good buffet breakfast, and site was quite busy for the time of year.

I give it a 5. The room needs a bit of a touch up especially the beds and pillows. Bathe towels were extremely small and light material. Breakfast was ok but not that great. Staff were ok and somewhat friendly. Location is good with walking distance to KFC, Wendy’s and Macdonald's and a gas station.

Really good customer service. But the only concerns i have is a dirty trace line on the wall black spots in the shower roof and also think we might of had bed bugs but did not notice at the moment noticed bug bites when i got home on the day of check out!
