Great
Only good thing was location
GREAT FIND
Hotel clean and adequete for city break. Very central location and staff went out there way to make our stay special. Free map and advice given. Kettle and microwave and sofa in communal area too
Location
Location. Location. Location. Very Near Pantheon, Piazza Navona. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful start to finish. We loved the stay and would come back again.
The hotel is in a great location, we walked everywhere from it. The staff are very kind and welcoming. There is not 24/7 staff on site but we had no issues with that. We felt safe in the area even in the evening.
Highly recommend!
Check in was a very smooth process. The person checking us in was extremely helpful. This was my second time in Rome in the last year so I had a general idea of the city. Still I found the map that they provided and the fact that they took the time to explain the surround areas and main attractions extremely helpful. I made sure to bring my map back home and keep it for any future trips to Rome. Additionally they provided recommendations for restaurants and even dishes. Hotel was perfectly located near major sites making walking very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
El personal muy atento y servicial. Nos dieron buenos tips de cosas que hacer en la ciudad. Muy céntrica y conveniente la localización.
Great little place
Great access to tourist attractions, restaurants and buses around Rome. Basic accomodation but it was a cheap place to sleep.
Had a great stay! Staff was amazing and very welcoming!!
Close to metro area
This is in an excellent location - metres from the Pantheon and the restaurants and bars around it. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet - the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Plenty of places nearby to find breakfast.
Very good location in Rome centre, walkable to Colosseum and Vatican and close to old town restaurants, basic clean no frills accom and more than adequate for family happy to share one room.
We chose this property based on location, online ratings, and appearance from online photos. Very disappointed. Reserved what was promoted as an apartment for 5 and we had no room. Small bathroom. 2 of my kids got bitten badly by either bed bugs or mosquitos. Not a very clean property either.. Upside is when in Rome, you are not staying in your apartment.and location is great.
The location of this property was extremely convenient. Outside of that, we would not recommend. The property condition was not the best (very hot rooms/weak air conditioner, tiny shower with flimsy walls and weak water pressure, missing bathroom flooring tiles, scuffed up walls, etc) If you would like towels more than every three days, you have to pay. Most of this would have been fine to deal with for the location convenience, but the biggest deal breaker for us was the extremely thin walls. We could hear every word of the fighting couple next door, as well as everything on the street below (cars, pedestrian conversations, etc late into the night). This made sleeping tough, so we were left disappointed in this property.
This hotel is in a great location - only 2 min walk to the Pantheon and close to Trevi fountain and dining/shopping options. The 4 person room is very small for adults, would work great for a family with small children. The front desk staff was super accommodating and had great recommendations for local dining and transportation options. They arranged our very early morning ride to the airport with no issues. I would stay here again - just not with 4 women in one room. The location cannot be beat!
It was extremely noisy. Unable to sleep the front desk gentleman was extremely rude to us as soon as we arrived younger man the older man was nice our room was next to the front desk and it was so noisy unable to sleep location was nice Overall not satisfied younger gentleman was insistent that we use cash and not our credit card which we refused
The owners were really nice
Great stay, the staff were so incredibly kind and helpful! They went above and beyond expectations.
You’re paying for the proximity to everything as you are right behind the pantheon. Rooms are tiny and tough for two people to navigate for more than two days.
Perfect location
Very convenient to all the Rome hotspots. Felt safe at night walking around.
Very clean and very pleasant and helpful staff.
Wonderful staff, convenient location. No frills, but clean and accommodating. The self serve laundromat advertised on the website didn’t exist, but staff volunteered to take our laundry and do it for us (which we didn’t want to do). Would have liked to have a full length mirror (or any mirror) in the bedroom, towel racks in the bathroom, and a mat in the shower (which was very slippery). Even without these amenities, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there in the future.
We have been traveling all over Italy for the last 9 days, and this is by far the worst experience I've had thus far. Thankfully, it was only one night. The reception desk was kind, and we were initially excited about the location being so close to the Pantheon. We dropped our bags to store and came back a few hours later to check in. Our bags were kindly moved to our room, but upon arrival, we were escorted to our room and immediately thought, "Wow. It's really warm in here." The attendant had already placed a plug-in desk fan in the room and mentioned he put it in the room because the ac was not good. (So clearly he knew there was an issue with the ac, yet failed to tell us before we checked in). It wasn't even bearable. Tried two fans, ac on, ac off, windows open, fans on... nothing helped. It had to be over 80°F in the room. (The plugs that were used for the fans were a hazard due to being wrapped in tape and overloaded, too). After about 30 minutes. I went to the desk to ask what he could do to fix this, so he called his manager. I checked back in with him, and he said he was waiting for his manager to call back. We almost left for another hotel, but he made it sound like there was a solution he was waiting on, so we held out. We came back from dinner, and a new guy was at the desk. I asked him what the resolution was, and he said nothing. They were full, and there's nothing they can do. So we were stuck. STAY AWAY.
Hotel Mimosa stay, July 2024
Hotel Mimosa was a hidden gem! This hotel was quiet, close to great food, the Pantheon, Piazza Navonna and more! Daniele at the front desk couldnt have been more helpful. He went above and beyond to help arrange transportation for a bag we left behind once we checked out and got it to us before we left on our cruise. Love this hotel!!!
Place was very clean really nice staff very friendly. The area is just amazing a little bit too loud at night.
Location, location! This property is walkable to all the amazing sites of Rome. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk is not 24 hours. The rooms were adequate and towels only changed every 3 days. Overall would definitely stay again.
The owner Daniel are very helpful
Room was ok, small but clean, but excellent location and staff.
Our shower was leaking and 2 tiles missing on the bathroom floor. Everything else was good.
Daniele the Property Manager was just excellent. He was courteous and very helpful throughout stay. Highly recommended place.
Very spacious room, air conditioning worked great, staff very helpful and polite.
Great Budget Option
This hotel is a great option. It is close to a number of top attractions. The staff is great and rooms work. You can pay more than double to get bigger room but these are good. I recommend this hotel
We really loved our stay at Hotel Mimosa and would definitely stay again.
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great location near the Pantheon. Clean, newly renovated. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there.
Great service
Just get new beds!
The staff was excellent on every shift and very helpful. The location was phenomenal. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. A nice bed would have me coming back to the property but the springs were literally hurting our ribs.
Next to the Pantheon. Great location for seeing sights in Rome.
Location was great! Great staff!
Nice staff
Great property
Couldnt have been more helpful. Great location. Great find
It was so nice! Clean and comfortable !!!
Clean and walkable. Staff was nice. Would go back.
staff helpfull and kind
Room too small, no place for luggage. Towels not replaced and charges if requested.
The location was perfect, right in the heart of historic center. Staff was nice and friendly. I asked staff to print out our boarding papers to our fllght and they charged me 2 Euros. This was the first time i had to pay for a printout at a hotel.!!!! Arent they cheap?
Great opportunities
amazing good experience with the staff working at reception, Mario was very kind as well as the lady who is from Los Angeles
Great proximity to Pantheon
Great location near Pantheon. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. Walkable to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Long but doable walk to Vatican or take a taxi for 10-15 Euros. Facilities are not luxurious and have only the basics, but if you’re only planning to sleep there, like we did, it suited our needs just fine, and location was really key. Great for one night.
Nice, simple, little hotel close to the Pantheon. Friendly staff that is wonderful with recommending restaurants and assisting with transportation.
Large room, excellent customer service. Reception hours were limited. No breakfast
GREAT location. Would absolutely stay again. Room felt spacious when compared to many of the more affordable places in Europe. Staff did a great job with cleaning. I liked that I could pretty much walk to all the typical tourist spots I was planning on visiting. So many good restaurants in the area. Only warning is that if wifi is essential to you then this is not the place. Wifi was pretty much non existent for me except in reception area and I know I wasn't the only one with the issue. Mattress could have been better, but I was definitely able to sleep fine.
Extremely kind and helpful staff! Location can’t be beat with the Pantheon right around the corner, Trevi not much further, the Colosseum a 15 minute walk away and the Vatican a 10 minute cab ride! Tons of great dining as well. You feel like you’re actually living in Rome with the way the hotel feels. Hotel definitely only has the basics, but me and my family of 5 were thrilled!
was very nice clise to the pantheon and piazza navona
Really enjoyed our stay. Definitely got a leg workout everyday, but it was clean, cozy and wonderful!
The location of the hotel is perfect. A few minute walk to pantheon, spanish steps and trevi fountain.
Lovely hotel
This was a nice little hotel right by the pantheon. Lovely staff and good restaurants. Would stay here again!
Love the close proximity to everything! We walked everywhere and it never felt far. The front desk staff were all very great and felt very safe with the door codes and keys. The rooms are a bit small but you’re not there for the rooms.
The location is fantastic. There’s a lot to do and see around the hotel at walking distance. The staff at the front desk was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They gave me a lot of orientation and address everything very fast. But the room they gave me # 5, the windows that are used to avoid the light coming from the street outside, did not close completely because that were installed wrong or they didn’t checked them after instalation and they keep partially open and we have to sleep with a room full of light. I will attach pictures to show
Staff was very helpful. All receptionist were all great and able to make recommendations to us. The location is in close proximity to pantheon and piazza navona. We were able to walk from the hotel to colosseum. The bathroom tho in our room was leaking and smelled like urine even after it was just cleaned. Other than that, room is pretty big and comfortable.
Location, location, location. Steps from Pantheon. Easy walks to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum and Forum area. Basic 1-star hotel. No breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mimosa. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent!
Very good location in the middle of all of the attractions and great cafe shops all around.
The only good thing about this hotel/pensione was the location and strong air conditioning! It was advertised including breakfast- no breakfast included! False advertising! We were woken up in the middle Of the night with the reception phone ringing nonstop and woke up the entire floor. I do not recommend unless you expect nothing! Disappointed !!!
Walkable to the major sites in Rome and Vatican City. The hotel is difficult to find and has just a tiny sign. Air conditioning didn't do a great job.
Everything was great in Mimosa Hotel, since my arrival until the last day I spent there. The guys are the reception are so nice, polite and helpful. The hotel clean and at the perfect location. I can’t be more happy with my choice. I highly recommend this hotel.
Little Gem in Rome
This little gem is awesome. Located near Pantheon and the least expensive compared to surrounding hotels. It is clean, comfy beds and you get free breakfast. Be mindful that receptionist only open from 8 am to 10 pm, but they will give you a key if you come back late. The entrance is a bit tricky, you will have to ring the bell and they will let you in.
The location is good. Facilities are basic. The television was at a very odd place in the room. The room has no view.
The hotel Is un the second floor of the building. The staff was great, very helpful. Breaksfast was basic, eggs, ham, pastries, cereals, some fruit. There was no hot water in the shower during our first night. Check out was weird cause we had to leave at 5am but there's no staff at that hour.
We stayed in 4 different rooms. One was next to a very noisy street, the other 3 were not. 2 had a bad smell in the bathrooms, 2 did not. 3 had beds that were pushed together that separated. On the up side staff was very nice, it was in a perfect location for exploring old Rome center and the rooms were all clean.
Great location, price, and friendly.
Small boutique hotel. Very helpful staff. For Europe, bathroom was larger than average. Queen bed was two singles pulled together. Great location near Pantheon.
Large rooms and nice location
Perfect location. It was a little deceiving that it was the hotel because it is part of a larger building. But very comfortable and wonderful staff.
Easy access to the beautiful city of Rome! Large room, great staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely foods!
The location of Hotel Mimosa is fantastic. It provided us with an excellent base to explore Rome. The hotel itself whilst basic, had everything we needed and was clean.
No wifi in the room but the staff was really nice. Even through they were all nice, I must say Salvatore was excellent, professional and very knowledgeable.
The room was very good size. The service was great and staff was very friendly. The location was excellent only 2 blocks away from the Pantheon. I highly recommend this hotel.
Awesome staff and customer service. Room was clean and close to main landmarks. Will definitely stay there again.
The staff is so warm and helped us tremendously with our planning. We loved the location as we walked to many attractions. The hotel is so safe and quiet, the walks lively and also safe.
Hidden gem in central Rome!
Simple, clean rooms within walking distance of everything in central Rome. A little funky with reception desk on 2nd floor and rooms branching off in all directions. A great breakfast is included in a very nice breakfast room. 300 steps to the Pantheon. Lots of good restaurants close by.
The location of the property was convenient to all major sites. The hotel bathrooms were the worst I have ever stayed in and I have traveled all over the world. There was mildew or mold throughout the bathroom in the shower and all over the ceiling.
Perfect location close to Pantheon. Friendly staff and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Delicious breakfast.
Great location, great staff, simple clean rooms
Loved the location, the staff and the rooms. Very accommoding. The breakfast was also very good.
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Hotel was lovely with great staff. Super clean and an excellent location.
Perfect location from which to explore ancient Rome. Clean room, helpful staff.
The location was great to be able to walk around Rome. The room was clean and the staff were pleasant when spoken to but pretty much left you alone. One thing to note - the walls were very thin - so much so that we could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us our last night there. Another thing to note - at least some of the rooms overlook a piazza that has several restaurants with outdoor seating. As such there was noise until they closed from guests, then noise as the bottles and garbage were thrown in the dumpster, and then noise in the morning when the garbage trucks came to empty the dumpsters. Make sure to ask for a room that doesn't overlook the piazza.
Great location! Early check in. A little bit noisy.
great location! a very good choice for staying in Rome, when the hotel is just the place to rest over night, take a shower and leave your suitcase while you explore the city the whole day long. Friendly staff, a nice room with a comfortable bed, cleaned every day.. nice breakfast that kept us going to the late afternoon. good wi-fi. Good value for price.
Hotel Mimosa
The staff was very helpful, they helped arrange all of our transfers which made the trip so much easier. Allowed us to check in early because we arrived in Rome early. Room was very large, clean, and comfortable beds. Shower was spacious.
Great little gem
I had a wonderful time at this little hotel. I had no problem finding it as I had seen the YouTube video they have on the website with very specific directions. The checking-in process was great, the staff was very helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was truly perfect, walking distance to everything. The breakfast offered was simple but very filling. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever back in Rome.
Location Location Location
This hotel was amazing! We got the room with the 3 twin beds and it was ideal for our weekend trip to Rome! It was 2 minutes from the Pantheon, 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and 30 minutes from the Colosseum! The staff was really helpful and getting in to the building was a breeze. Only complaint is the WiFi is not ideal and for some reason there wasn’t any service in the room so it was hard to post our beautiful pictures of Rome on social media.
Staff are super friendly and helpful for tourists. And prepare breakfast very well for guests. Great area of Rome too! Very safe and secure too. Highly recommend.
Rome weekend
Excellent hotel in the centre of Rome.
Very close to the pantheon and tons of little restaurants and cafes for a bite to eat as you explore the area. Everything in centeral rome is within 30 mins walking distance
Excellent location, clean rooms, nice breakfast selections and friendly helpful staff.

Friendly staff, very friendly, very helpful. Easy access to get around Rome from your hotel. Don't have anything bad to say about this place I would return
